This quantitative study investigates the impact of organizational factors on Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS), employing the PRISM framework. Results reveal significant influences of organizational factors on technical and behavioral aspects of HMIS. Artificial intelligence is important! A mini systematic literature review of bioethics in science learning

The focus and concern of researchers on the theme of bioethics and its relationship with science learning is highly expected, as evidenced by publications in reputable journals. The purpose of this systematic literature review (SLR) was to review and compare investigations of researches on article published by scopus indexed journals. We used the phrase "bioethics+learning+science" in the search menu of the scopus database, and found 138 articles. Furthermore, 15 articles met the criteria to be analyzed. The inclusion and exclusion model used is PRISMA. The publication of "bioethics" in the scopus database is likely to increase in 2012. Although in 2013-2022 there were fluctuations. This theme can be approached through qualitative or quantitative and even mix-method. Almost all types of populations/samples have been used as subjects, showing that this theme is broad in dimension and involves all parties. Leonora Kaldaras is the most dominant researcher in reference. Bioethics specs are related to artificial intelligence. The keyword artificial intelligence is related to student, teaching, engineering education, computer science education, education computing, and education. Interesting things on the theme of artificial intelligence related to learning systems and computer aided instruction. The theme of "bioethics" is the focus of researchers from all continents and is generally written in groups. There are four institutions in the world that fund research and publications on bioethics, while the others are not mentioned. Most publications have fulfilled one of the ethics in publication, which is to clearly mention the name of the institution / institution that funds their research and publication. We formulate and discuss all aspects of the trend. Flipped classroom strategies in biology learning: A systematic literature review

Biology as an integral part of science learning continues to be maximized by integrating technology into its learning design. The definite manifestation of this integration process is to achieve meaningfulness, activeness, and effectiveness of the learning carried out. The flipped classroom (FC) is gaining popularity as a pedagogical model that uses the important benefits of technology in its learning environment. FC is proven to be an effective teaching mode that empowers students' 21st-century skills, stimulates students' self-learning, and improves academic performance. The potential of the FC is interesting to explore to what extent biology welcomes the FC. The aimed of this systematic literature review is to review and analyze articles published by Scopus indexed journals. We used the keywords "Flipped classroom and biology" in the search menu in the Scopus database and succeeded in finding 72 articles. There were 21 articles that met the criteria for further analysis. The inclusion and exclusion model used is PRISMA. The findings obtained are the trend of FC publications in biology learning over the last ten years. The approaches used in this research include quantitative, mixed method, case study and qualitative. Key words that are often used by writers are student, human, biology. The biology keyword has a branch, namely active learning. There are 9 countries of origin of authors who publish articles. The United States is a country that is active in publishing. Articles published on each continent are not evenly distributed. The dominant articles are published in collaboration with one country and rarely are articles published by one author. We have succeeded in formulating a picture of the existence of the FC in biology learning over the last ten years. These findings can be a consideration or reference for researchers to explore and study more deeply research related to the FC in biology learning based on their respective urgency.

Various Types of Biodiesel as Sustainable Fuel Choices: a Review

The energy sources used today are non-renewable energy. Non-renewable energy, if used continuously will experience scarcity. Therefore, renewable energy sources are needed as an alternative energy. One of alternative energy source is biodiesel. Biodiesel is an alternative fuel produced from vegetable or animal raw materials. The sustainability and diversity of biodiesel feedstock sources make it an attractive option for reducing dependence on fossil fuels. The problem is that all existing natural resources have not been utilized, the potential availability of raw materials and their production, lack of knowledge about the types of biodiesel and other types of biodiesel that can be developed. This article aims to review the different types of biodiesel that are being researched and developed and increasing knowledge and becoming a reference regarding the potential of natural resources and the opportunity to develop other types based on the potential of available natural resources. The research method used is a literature review study using the Publish or Perish 8 application, on the search menu Google Scholar is selected. Article search retrieved September 19, 2023. Based on this search, 14 articles were obtained that were in accordance with this research. The research results showed that the various types of biodiesel are bintaro oil, hazelnut oil, corn oil, crude palm oil, hydrotreated vegetable oil, kapok seed oil, rubber seed oil, used cooking oil, kesambi oil and graphene nanoplatelets. Each type of biodiesel has its own advantages, while the biodiesel feedstock that has the potential to be produced in large quantities is palm oil. This research also suggests that Indonesia's natural resource potential is very large, so we can also process and develop other types of biodiesel which can be used as alternative fuel.

Mathematical representation: A bibliometric mapping of the research literature (2013–2022)

Mathematical representation ability is an essential skill for students to understand mathematical concepts. Many studies have been conducted regarding this ability, but it is necessary to map existing research to provide a clearer picture of future research topics. This study aims to provide a bibliometric review of trends using mathematical representation skills in mathematics teaching research. The method in this study is bibliometric analysis, which aims to analyze and classify bibliographic material by presenting representative summaries of the literature in the Scopus database. The search was carried out using the keyword "mathematical representation" and selecting "article title" in the search menu in the Scopus.com database. Perish or Publish (PoP) software analyzes the author's name, number of document citations, document title, year of publication, document source, publisher, and document type. The results showed 99 publications and 357 citations related to mathematical representations, where the number of publications and citations fluctuated. The application of learning models and approaches, computer media, and analysis of mathematical representations is a research trend related to this variable. Therefore, paying attention to mathematical representations in learning mathematics and using effective strategies to improve students' mathematical representation abilities is essential. The findings of this study indicate the need to develop syntax and learning media based on mathematical representations to strengthen students' mathematical abilities.

Semiotic Reasoning in Mathematics: A Systematic Literature Review of Future Trends and Opportunities

A way of resulting conclusions using symbols or signs is known as semiotic reasoning. Researchers need precise information on this subject. A systematic literature review (SLR) summarizes the trends and contributions of semiotic reasoning research in mathematics published in Scopus-indexed journals, as well as its future potential. In the Scopus database's search menu, the terms "reasoning" and "semiotic" were entered, and 505 articles were found. In addition, 18 papers met the criteria for analysis. PRISM is the method of inclusion and exclusion model used. Semiotic reasoning rose considerably from 2019 to 2023, with 14 articles (77.78%). The most prevalent research technique (12 articles) is the qualitative approach. The author's country of origin and international participation are mentioned. The places of origin of the writers reveal that semiotic reasoning articles have been disseminated fairly throughout all continents. Furthermore, 12 papers (66.7%) were completed entirely by themselves. There was just one study with international collaboration (5.56%). Keyword-wise, 18 works demonstrate the characterization of sign activity (semiotic) in mathematical semiotic reasoning. Aside from that, mathematical semiotic reasoning research supports classroom mathematics learning, the advancement of mathematical semiotic reasoning theory, and the application of mathematical semiotic reasoning in other scientific domains. Semiotic reasoning research has made the most important contribution to classroom mathematics instruction. Among the mathematical principles studied are numbers, geometry, derivatives, diagrams, comparison and measurement, and distribution. These discoveries might be useful. These findings may be considered or used as a beginning point for academics to research the issue of semiotic reasoning in mathematics in line with their own goals.

Implementation of E Office Applications at Universitas Negeri Malang (UM)

E-office refers to activities in the workplace that utilize electronic equipment and internet networks. At UM, e- office refers to a website-based application that is in the Sistem Informasi Akademik (Siakad). This paper intends to discuss the implementation of e-office applications in UM, the obstacles and challenges of implementation, as well as strategies for maximizing. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Obtained data through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results are the e-office at UM has a main function and a secondary function. The main function of the e-office is to write letters and send mail. The secondary function is media filing management, where users can search for certain letters by typing certain words in the Search menu. The obstacle is there are still many academicians, especially students who do not know the existence, even the function of e-office. The solution is socialization and workshops on the use of e-office applications. Maximization that can be done to improve the application in terms of correspondence is a variation of sentence templates and types of letters. The next optimization in filing management is the addition of the feature of scanning a document using a laptop camera, web camera, or cellphone, so the users can easily enter digital files into the e-office database. The second feature to improve records management is setting a record retention schedule.

“Let’s transform!”: A systematic literature review of science learning in COVID-19 pandemic era

Currently, the world’s science learning is being affected by COVID-19 pandemic, which requires researchers to address it. Researchers’ attention and concern for the theme of science learning is highly expected, as evidenced by the existence of publications in reputable journals. The purpose of this systematic literature review is to review and compare investigations of research on articles published by Scopus-indexed journals (published during COVID-19 pandemic: 2020-2022). The researchers used a “science learning” phrase in the search menu of Scopus database and 1,484 articles were found by the researchers. Furthermore, 62 articles met the criteria to be analyzed. The inclusion and exclusion model used was preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, we found that in the last three years, there had been a decline in research on science learning. The science issues could be approached through quantitative, qualitative, mix-method, case study, and even development research. Marianne Kinnula is the author who has received the most attention in the study of science learning. According to the data, it is known that science learning and science education keywords are the most dominant keywords that used in a publication. There are 36 countries of origin for authors who publish articles, with the majority coming from Europe, though Indonesia has the most publications (Asia). Science articles are written by authors from all over the world. It was discovered that more articles were published as a result of collaboration. There are 69 institutions globally that fund science learning research and publications. We offer three perspectives on transformation science learning during a pandemic that can be used as a baseline and reference by other researchers or education policymakers. As an implication, the second and third perspectives from transformation that we have formulated are interesting for further study.

The application of job suitability is very important for companies/institutions in seeing the advantages of job applicants in accordance with their fields. then mobile-based information technology in finding job vacancies for applicants is very much needed for the required vacancies information and the suitability of the required formations. so that applicants can easily see the jobs that applicants need. The focus of this research problem is the existence of a mobile application in classifying job vacancies and the existence of a job information search menu according to the skills possessed and in accordance with the needs of mobile application-based jobs using the k-nearest neighbor (KNN) model. The purpose of this research is to apply a freelance application in aceh to help job search information according to the skills they have that match the needs of the job. The criteria available in the mobile application consist of a list of jobs, self-registration, a list of self-data weights, criteria and weights for recent education, work experience, marital status. The study was conducted with test data used 25 samples and applicants who registered consisted of 30 participants. the test results for the first registrant with the results of age 1, gender 0.5, GPA, 0.8, work experience 0.25, marital status 1 and passed with the value of the KNN calculation result is 0.406, the second applicant passed with a value of 0, 89 and the third did not pass with a value of 0.392. Job vacancies are obtained by taking 11 training data pieces that have the closest Euclidean distance to the questionnaire results. Furthermore, to test the accuracy using 30 samples with 24 accurate results and 6 inaccurate results.

Service Performance Evaluation of ITS Library Institution Repository Website

The ITS library as a unit that supports the ITS industrial revolution 4.0 strategy must make improvements to the application of information technology services to users. The ITS library repository website as a portal for storing scientific works of the ITS academic community is one of the information technology services that is often used by the ITS academic community (siva), but there has been no development for more than 5 years. For this reason, it is necessary to research evaluating the service quality of the ITS library repository website using webqual 4.0, which includes 3 (three) dimensions, namely: usability, information quality, and service interaction quality. The method used is a survey of distributing questionnaires to ITS final semester students who use the repository's independent upload service. As many as 100 students use the repository's independent upload service, then an IPA analysis (importance performance analysis) is carried out to determine the level of user satisfaction. The measurement results of the evaluation of the ITS Library repository website show a gap of -0.7, meaning that user satisfaction with the ITS Library repository website has not yet been achieved, while the IPA matrix diagram shows 2 (two) service indicators that are prioritized for quality improvement, namely interaction with the ITS repository website, which is safe from viruses and hackers when accessed via a PC or smartphone, and a quick search menu (title, author, supervisor, department) that gives inaccurate search results.

TCGA-My: A Systematic Repository for Systems Biology of Malaysian Colorectal Cancer.

Colorectal cancer (CRC) ranks second among the most commonly occurring cancers in Malaysia, and unfortunately, its pathobiology remains unknown. CRC pathobiology can be understood in detail with the implementation of omics technology that is able to generate vast amounts of molecular data. The generation of omics data has introduced a new challenge for data organization. Therefore, a knowledge-based repository, namely TCGA-My, was developed to systematically store and organize CRC omics data for Malaysian patients. TCGA-My stores the genome and metabolome of Malaysian CRC patients. The genome and metabolome datasets were organized using a Python module, pandas. The variants and metabolites were first annotated with their biological information using gene ontologies (GOs) vocabulary. The TCGA-My relational database was then built using HeidiSQL PorTable 9.4.0.512, and Laravel was used to design the web interface. Currently, TCGA-My stores 1,517,841 variants, 23,695 genes, and 167,451 metabolites from the samples of 50 CRC patients. Data entries can be accessed via search and browse menus. TCGA-My aims to offer effective and systematic omics data management, allowing it to become the main resource for Malaysian CRC research, particularly in the context of biomarker identification for precision medicine.

Introduction: Significant progress has been shown in the selling of cosmetic products. The number of companies working in this industry increased from 153 in 2017 to 760 in 2018. The National Agency of Drug and Food Control (NA-DFC) of Indonesia (BPOM) is authorised to supervise circulating cosmetic products, including cosmetic advertisements. BPOM issues regulations on Technical Guidelines for Supervision of Cosmetic Ads which are updated regularly. Skincare products are the type of cosmetics that are advertised on social media. Instagram is one of the most widely used social media platforms for the advertisement of skincare products in Indonesia Objectives: To determine the regulatory compliance of skincare product advertisements on Instagram. Method: The study was conducted by collecting data online via Instagram from 30 November to 6 December 2020. All advertisements of skincare products that were found in the most popular search menus and that were uploaded in 2020 were used. A checklist of regulatory compliance based on recent regulation was made as an instrument of study. Result: There were 135 samples of skincare product advertisements. They consisted of cleansing (58 products), moisturiser (66 products), sun protector (five products), and peeling (five products). The average regulatory compliance was 91.44%. Conclusion: The regulatory compliance of skincare product advertisements is close to 100%. However, some points of assessment need improvement.

Cashier Application on an Android Smartphone to Support Transaction Management in Small Scale Business

Customer service time is very important for UD. Hardi Drum which is a small-scale business in the field of selling used drums. Service to customers which is still manual, writing transaction data on notes takes time especially if the transactions volume is large. The purpose of this article is to introduce a cashier application system that can be run on Android smartphones. The introduced cashier application has various menus such as managing goods/stock data, inventory, transaction services, and recording sales results. The shopping receipts generated by the cashier application can be printed on a portable printer directly or can be saved in the form of a pdf file. All transaction data is automatically recapitulated by the cashier application which can be displayed at a certain time range that can be selected with the search menu. After being trained starting from the installation process on smartphones and the operation of all existing features and menus, owners and employees at UD. The calculation results of the questionnaire showed that the application has a usability value of 71.8 which means that the application was accepted at a good level. Changes in temperature, pH, and turbidity in concrete fish ponds greatly impact to the fish survival. Initial observations showed that among 3.067 fish seeds, 1.633 fish (53%) died and only 1.434 fish (47%) was successfully harvested. The application of water quality monitoring devices from concrete pools designed based on the Internet of Things technology has been tested. The monitoring equipment will not function optimally without an application that functions to receive monitoring data and then take action.
