PurposeT-cell immunotherapy is reshaping cancer care and offers a targeted strategy for pancreatic carcinoma (PC), yet a comprehensive map of its research trajectory is lacking. We aimed to chart the evolution of the field, identify leading contributors, and clarify the thematic shifts that are shaping clinical translation.MethodsWe systematically analyzed articles and reviews indexed in the Science Citation Index Expanded of the Web of Science Core Collection from January 2000 to December 2024. Bibliographic metadata were aggregated for descriptive trend analyses and science-mapping of co-authorship, co-citation, and keyword co-occurrence networks. Temporal trend profiling was used to highlight emerging topics.ResultsGlobal output on T-cell immunotherapy for PC has expanded markedly over the past two decades but remains unevenly distributed across regions. The United States leads in academic influence and translational impact, with China closely following in publication volume and contributions from high-impact institutions. Research has converged at the interface of immunotherapy, tumor-microenvironment modulation, and cellular engineering. Dominant themes include engineered T-cell approaches, immune-checkpoint modulation, and strategies leveraging tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes. Emerging fronts encompass AI-enabled target/drug discovery, biomarker-guided patient stratification, and individualized treatment designs. Persisting barriers include limited efficacy in the desmoplastic and immunosuppressive PC microenvironment, primary and acquired immune resistance, safety concerns, and regulatory and trial-design complexities.ConclusionsT-cell immunotherapy for PC is a rapidly advancing, interdisciplinary domain led by the United States with rising contributions from China. Accelerating clinical translation will require: integrated T-cell engineering with microenvironment remodeling; rational combinations with checkpoint and stroma-targeted agents; robust predictive biomarkers with standardized endpoints; safety-engineering and risk-mitigation frameworks; and coordinated, multicenter collaboration. This bibliometric synthesis delineates the field’s structure and priorities to improve outcomes for patients with PC.

Scientific co-authorship is a natural reflection of the scientific collaboration. Multiple foreign studies based on Web of Science and Scopus data show that there has been an increase in the number of co-authors of scientific publications in international journals in various scientific areas over the recent decades. Obviously, it is rather difficult to perform an analysis of co-authorship in Russian journals using Web of Science and Scopus data. This paper examines trends in the number of co-authors of Russian scientific journal articles in the following five thematic areas: chemistry, history, mathematics, medicine, and physics. The data source of our investigation is the national bibliographic database Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI). We show a steady increase in the average number of co-authors per publication and an increase in the proportion of co-authored articles for the period from 2000 to 2020, and we notice differences in different scientific areas.

ObjectiveTranscatheter valve replacement (TAVR) has emerged as a pivotal intervention for aortic regurgitation(AR), garnering significant attention over the past two decades. Despite the proliferation of research in this domain, a comprehensive synthesis of the extant literature remains lacking, especially regarding large-scale randomized trials and long-term follow-up data. This study aims to elucidate the evolving landscape and current focal points of TAVR in the context of AR through advanced text mining and knowledge mapping techniques over the past 20 years and to project future development prospects.MethodsA systematic retrieval of medical literature regarding TAVR for AR was conducted within the Web of Science database’s Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), encompassing publications from 2004 to 2023. Analytical tools performed bibliometric and visualization analyses, including Microsoft Excel, CiteSpace, Bibliometrics, and VOSviewer.ResultsThe analysis encompassed 2,189 publications across 200 journals, revealing a consistent upward publication volume and citation frequency trend. Notably, Leon, Martin B, Webb, John G, and Rodes-Cabau, Josep emerged as the most prolific scholars, while Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions ranked as the journal with the highest output. Geographically, the United States, Germany, and Italy led in publication output. The top 10 institutions with the most considerable influence were all from the European and American countries. A cluster analysis of the 169 keywords with a frequency exceeding 20 occurrences emphasized integrating procedural innovation, patient-specific risk assessment, and long-term outcome evaluation, highlighting the evolving priorities in advancing TAVR therapy for AR. Furthermore, operative techniques, valve device systems, and bioengineering technologies are likely to emerge as key research directions for the future treatment of AR with TAVR.ConclusionsThis study is the first comprehensive bibliometric analysis of TAVR for AR, offering insights into health-oriented research trends. Despite advancements in clinical studies, minimally invasive surgical techniques, and bioengineering, prioritizing translational research to address patient health outcomes remains critical. Bridging innovation and clinical practice is vital to optimize therapeutic efficacy, improve quality of life, and reduce AR’s global health burden. Future research should integrate multidisciplinary approaches to enhance TAVR’s safety, accessibility, and long-term health benefits for diverse populations.

We conducted acomprehensive analysis to address the limited knowledge regarding retracted articles in the field of radiology, nuclear medicine, and medical imaging within the Web of Science (WoS) database. The category "Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and Medical Imaging" was selected in the WoS search interface without specifying atime range and with document types limited to "retraction, retracted publication, withdrawn publication." A total of 113 retracted articles were retrieved and analytically categorized into subgroups for examination. Two independent researchers evaluated the reasons for retraction. Of the 113 articles identified as retracted, 106 were included in the study. The median publication duration prior to retraction was 183days (range: 1-16,406days). The highest retraction rate by country was found in China (55.66%), and by journal category, in the Science Citation Index (SCI) and SCI-Expanded (86.79%). The primary reasons for retraction were concerns and errors related to the data (37articles), plagiarism (33articles), and ethical issues (13articles). In terms of sources, 66retractions were initiated by the publisher/editor, 25 by the author, and 13 jointly by the author and editor. The findings of our study emphasize the need for increased transparency, ethical oversight, and data accuracy in academic publishing. Implementing such measures is essential to safeguarding the credibility and validity of scientific research and ensuring more reliable progress in the academic community moving forward.

Over the past few decades, among language and translation scholars worldwide, this plurilingual perspective on individuals and communities on-the-move and ever-dynamic uses of several languages has increasingly gained consolidation. Native-speaker norms that sanction end-speaker authenticness as an inspirational model have dominated translation quality norms, appraisal schema, and teaching frameworks. Their binarism bred chronic ideological tension embedded within China, where translation studies and practices are written within domestic scholarly hegemonics and an increasingly internationalizing language market. This paper investigates where native speaker norms intersect and conflict with plurilingualism in Chinese translation studies under mainstream domestic indexes, Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index (CSSCI), A Guide to the Core Journals of China (GCJC) and foreign journals, Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI), Arts and Humanities Citation Index (AHCI). According to qualitative clustering of journal papers from 2021 to 2025, the paper identifies three conflict zones: native norm-biased translation quality appraisal conflicts of translator identity and plurilingual competences and native knowledge, and cultural exchange paradox, where native norms promote and restrict exchange between cultures. To counter such tensions, this paper recommends policies, pedagogical, and professional practices that are more inclusive and language empowering. By situating such solutions in the framework of China's cultural, historical, and market-based translation, this article adds to the growing debate on how the role of translation in the multilingual world should change.

Objective: To analyze the scientifical production published in journals included in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) and Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) databases of the Core Collection of the Web of Science (WoS), using bibliometric indicators, with the aim of determining the dynamics, quality, structure, and emergent topics on the subject of Ricinus communis L., during the 2001-2022 period. Design/Methodology/Approach: The above-mentioned databases were subjected to an exploratory analysis to extract and evaluate bibliographical records, based on a search equation. The evolution of scientific production and the relationship between documents, authors, and key words were determined and characterized. In addition, relevant research topics and trends were identified. Finally, the VOSviewer software was used to develop one-dimensional (performance) and multidimensional (science mapping) indicators, based on records recovered from the databases. Results: The results were used to determine the dynamics of scientific production regarding the topic in question. The topic had an oscillatory behavior as time went by, increasing from <5 documents in 2001 to 25 documents in 2022. This increase showed the interest of scientists on the subject. The highest number of publications was recorded in 2014. Findings/Conclusions: The documents with the highest influence on the generation of new research addressed the use of R. communis as biocide, highlighting its harmlessness and environmental preservation. A similar behavior was reported with the use of R. communis extracts with larvicide, insecticide, acaricide, and antimicrobial activity. Regarding emerging research trends in R. communis, the most notable were in vitro studies, its association with nanotechnology; its antimicrobial, antioxidant, and acaricidal activity; and its use in combination with other plant species, as well as its use in metabolic or physiological studies.

BackgroundQueer populations (sexual and gender diverse people, including two-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and queer) in Canada face significant health disparities, largely driven by stigma related to sexual and gender identities. These inequities are associated with adverse health outcomes. Although a growing body of literature examines stigma reduction, interventions often focus on specific types of queer stigma rather than considering the broader, intersectional experiences of queer people. This scoping review aims to critically explore the current state of queer stigma across the life course in Canada, with an emphasis on understanding their impact, successes, and gaps.MethodsThis review will include studies that address interventions aimed at reducing queer-related stigma in Canada. Eligible studies must focus on queer populations and measure outcomes related to stigma reduction. Studies of any design (qualitative, quantitative, mixed methods), published in English or French, and from any year will be considered. A systematic search will be conducted across multiple databases, including Medline-R (Ovid), Embase (Ovid), APA PsycInfo (Ovid), CINAHL (EBSCO), Social Services s (ProQuest), Social Science s (ProQuest), and Social Science Citation Index (Web of Science), along with grey literature sources. Two reviewers will independently assess potential articles against the inclusion criteria through two stages: titles and abstracts as well as full-text screening. Data extraction will focus on study characteristics, intervention details, and outcomes related to stigma reduction. Findings will be reported in tables and narrative summaries, guided by the socioecological model and intersectional queer theories. Data will be analyzed to identify trends and gaps in current interventions aimed at addressing queer stigma.DiscussionUsing an intersectional queer approach and the socioecological model, this review will identify gaps and strengths in queer stigma programming and interventions across the life course. The broad inclusion criteria and a rigorous approach will account for academic and grey literature, highlighting ongoing treatments, measurement tools, and resources. This extensive data collection will inform future research on queer peoples’ resource and programming needs in Canada. Findings will contribute to workshops development, training modules, and community reports for healthcare providers and community organizations serving queer communities.Systematic review registrationhttps://doi.org/10.6084/m9.figshare.28523621.v1.

This study aims to decode the intellectual structure of organisational resilience (OR) and provide a comprehensive overview of its conceptual development, key intellectual shifts and emerging research directions. We apply bibliometric co-citation analysis using CiteSpace on the scientific production on OR indexed in the Web of Science—Social Sciences Citation Index. The analysis identifies clusters, turning points and citation bursts, enabling the mapping of the field’s main themes and intellectual foundations. The findings reveal eight major clusters of OR research, with distinctive yet interconnected areas: crisis management, disaster management, conceptualisation, supply chain management, influencing factors, strategy and planning, evaluation and community resilience. Key turning points and burst papers highlight the evolution of the field from conceptual foundations to strategic approaches shaped by global crises. The study advances theory by demonstrating how OR research is structured across clusters and by identifying conceptual gaps that require integration, which are addressed through a proposed research agenda. For scholars, it provides a roadmap to navigate the most influential works and theories, while for practitioners and policymakers, it highlights actionable directions to strengthen resilience in organisations facing volatile and uncertain environments.

Patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) are crucial for evaluating rhinoplasty outcomes, yet no standardized, validated PROM tailored to rhinoplasty exists. This systematic review examines existing PROMs, identifying gaps in their ability to capture both aesthetic and functional outcomes. A PRISMA-compliant systematic review was conducted using MEDLINE, Embase, Google Scholar, CENTRAL, Science Citation Index, and PubMed. The protocol was registered a priori (CRD42024513514). Risk of bias was assessed using Cochrane's Risk of Bias Tool, with study quality evaluated via the validated GRADE tool. Twelve randomized controlled trials involving 743 patients were analyzed. The mean follow-up was 9.1 months, with a mean patient age of 35.35 years (±5.95) and a male-to-female ratio of 1:1.91. Ten distinct PROMs were identified, with FACE-Q emerging as the most robust, meeting 19 of 21 development standards. However, FACE-Q lacked the ability to assess functional outcomes critical to rhinoplasty, such as nasal airway function and breathing. This review highlights the heterogeneity of PROMs in rhinoplasty research and the limitations of current tools in addressing both aesthetic and functional outcomes. While FACE-Q is the most robust for aesthetic evaluation, its functional limitations underscore the need for refinement or a dedicated PROM tailored to the comprehensive demands of rhinoplasty.

The objective of our study was to assess the benefits and harms of tramadol vs placebo in adults with chronic pain. The research method was a systematic review of randomised clinical trials with meta-analysis. The review followed the Trial Sequential Analysis and the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE) approach. The Cochrane Library, MEDLINE, Embase, Science Citation Index and BIOSIS were searched for trials published from inception to 6 February 2025. Studies were eligible for inclusion if they were published and unpublished randomised clinical trials comparing tramadol vs placebo in adults with any type of chronic pain. Risk of bias was assessed according to the Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions. The main outcome measures were pain level, adverse events, quality of life, dependence, abuse and depressive symptoms. We included 19 randomised placebo-controlled clinical trials enrolling 6506 participants. All outcome results were at high risk of bias. Meta-analysis and Trial Sequential Analysis showed evidence of a beneficial effect of tramadol on chronic pain (mean difference numerical rating scale (NRS) -0.93 points; 97.5% CI -1.26 to -0.60; p<0.0001; low certainty of evidence). However, the effect size was below our predefined minimal important difference of 1.0 point on NRS. Beta binomial regression showed evidence of a harmful effect of tramadol on serious adverse events (OR 2.13; 97.5% CI 1.29 to 3.51; p=0.001; moderate certainty of evidence), mainly driven by a higher proportion of cardiac events and neoplasms. It was not possible to conduct a meta-analysis of the quality of life due to a lack of data. Meta-analysis and Trial Sequential Analysis showed that tramadol increased the risk of several non-serious adverse events including nausea (number needed to harm (NNH) 7), dizziness (NNH 8), constipation (NNH 9), and somnolence (NNH 13) (all very low certainty of evidence). Tramadol may have a slight effect on reducing chronic pain levels (low certainty of evidence) while likely increasing the risk of both serious (moderate certainty of evidence) and non-serious adverse events (very low certainty of evidence). The potential harms associated with tramadol use for pain management likely outweigh its limited benefits.

Aim: to analyze the prevalence of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) clarithromycin resistance mutations across the Russian Federation based on molecular genetic studies.Materials and methods. A systematic literature review was conducted in accordance with PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Searches were performed in PubMed, Google Scholar, and the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) for studies published between 1985 and 2025. Analyses focused on point mutations in the 23S rRNA gene, including A2142G (referred as A2146G), A2143G (referred as A2147G), A2144G, T2182C, and T2717C.Results. Nine eligible studies encompassing 639 H. pylori isolates (collected between 2009 and 2024) were included. The pooled prevalence of clarithromycin resistance based on molecular genetic studies was 25.1 % (95% confidence interval: 15.7–36.0). The most prevalent mutation was A2143G (78.2 %), followed by A2142G (15.7 %) and T2717C (13.6 %). Significant heterogeneity was observed among studies (I2 = 88.6 %). No publication bias was detected via Begg’s and Egger’s tests.Conclusion. This meta-analysis demonstrated that the pooled clarithromycin resistance rate of H. pylori strains in Russian studies conducted between 2009 and 2024 using molecular-genetic methods exceeds 25 %. Clarithromycin resistance among H. pylori strains in Russia is primarily driven by the A2143G mutation. These data are highly relevant for the design of local PCR diagnostic systems aimed at promptly identifying clarithromycin resistance in H. pylori, enabling clinicians to select personalized eradication regimens based on genetic profiles.

Assess the impact of adult cochlear implantation on the disability and quality of life (QOL) of communication partners (CP) of cochlear implant (CI) recipients. PubMed, MEDLINE, Embase, Cochrane CENTRAL, Science Citation Index Expanded, and Emerging Sources Citation Index were searched. This study was reported following the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analysis (PRISMA) guidelines. Articles included reported on disability or QOL measures of CP of adult CI recipients. Study selection included retrospective, prospective, and randomized controlled studies in English language. Three reviewers independently screened studies for inclusion, extracted data, and evaluated risk of bias. Outcomes included both qualitative and quantitative pre-CI and post-CI measures of CP disability or QOL. Of 1615 screened articles, 9 studies utilizing quantitative and qualitative measures with 504 CP met inclusion criteria. Four of 6 studies assessing only post-CI CP QOL, demonstrated self-reported improvement, while one demonstrated worse CP QOL compared with the general population and one identified CP and CI recipient qualities that correlated with CP QOL scores. Two studies assessing pre-CI to post-CI CP QOL also reported improvements. One study assessing only pre-CI CP QOL suggested that CPs had worse QOL than normal hearing controls. Duration of CI recipient hearing loss did not impact CP QOL in any study. Though homogenous data on the QOL of CPs of CI recipients and the relationship between CI recipient and CP factors is limited, studies suggest that CPs of CI recipients may have worse QOL than the general population but, cochlear implantation may improve CP QOL.

ABSTRACT In 2009, a decision was made to introduce the course ‘Fundamentals of Religious Cultures and Secular Ethics’ (FRCSE) in Russia. This topic has attracted interest from the scientific, religious and pedagogical communities. However, most of the works are not available to most readers, as they are written in Russian. The purpose of this article is a quantitative scientometric analysis of publications within journals of the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) dedicated to the course ‘Fundamentals of Religious Cultures and Secular Ethics’. This work is based on a bibliographic analysis of 564 articles. The data were processed according to such parameters as the number and gender of authors, the name of the journal, the number of citations in the RSCI, the year of publication, the geographical distribution of publications, the type of organisation in which the author works, the presence of an empirical component, and the availability of information about the teaching module. This study can encourage scientists to study and compare the topic of religious education in other countries.
