HUBUNGAN KARAKTERISTIK DENGAN PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT DALAM PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH RUMAH TANGGA DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS PIR II BAJUBANG KABUPATEN MUARO JAMBI

Community characteristics contribute greatly to waste management. The characteristics of the community in the working area of ​​the Bajubang PIR II Community Health Center are very varied. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between community characteristics and community participation in managing household waste in the PIR II Bajubang Community Health Center Working Area, Muaro Jambi Regency. The research method used is quantitative using an observational analytical design, in accordance with the research objective which is to explain the relationship between variables. The research location is in the PIR II Bajubang Health Center Working Area, Muaro Jambi Regency. The population is 2,322 housewives with a research sample of 92 housewives The instruments used were: questionnaire and checklist. Data analysis used the statistical test used was Chi-Square with a confidence level of 95% where α = 0.05. The results of the study showed that no Chi-square statistical test results were calculated because the respondents' attitudes towards the environment were constant, namely good for all, while family members had nothing to do with community participation. Meanwhile, other individual characteristic variables were significantly related to community participation in waste management. . Conclusion: The dominant characteristics of community participation in managing household waste in the PIR II Bajubang Community Health Center Working Area, Muaro Jambi Regency. The results of multivariate analysis using logistic regression statistical tests showed that the most dominant variables were the education variable and the income variable had a p value <0.05.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MATERNAL NUTRITIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND FEEDING PATTERNS IN STUNTED TODDLERS

The nutrients in the food consumed play a role in determining a person's condition and nutritional status. This research aims to determine the description and relationship between the level of maternal nutritional knowledge and the feeding patterns of mothers who have stunted toddlers in Desa Sumorame Candi Sidoarjo. This research method is analytical observational with a cross sectional approach. The research subjects were 40 mothers of stunted toddlers in Sumorame Candi Sidoarjo Village. Data collection used a questionnaire with guided interviews. Data were analyzed using the Chi-square test (significance ?<0.05). Data shows the percentage of mothers with high levels of knowledge about nutrition (5%), medium (27.5%), and low (67.5%) while mothers with appropriate (47.5%) and inappropriate feeding patterns (52, 5%). The chi-square statistical test results showed a relationship between the mother's level of knowledge and toddler feeding patterns (p=0.027). The research concludes that the mother's level of knowledge about nutrition influences the mother's feeding pattern for her toddler.

Introduction: Iron is an essential microelement for the body, especially needed in the formation of blood cells. Pregnancy anemia causes blood-related changes resulting in a decrease in Hb levels in the blood. Data obtained from the Kediri Community Health Center, West Lombok Regency in 2021, the prevalence of anemia in mothers Pregnancy rate of 28.55% is the second highest in West Lombok Regency. Objective: To determine the relationship between economic status and anemia status in pregnant women at Kediri health centers. Methods:Type of analytical survey research with a Cross Sectional study approach. The sample for this research was 63 respondents with a Purposive Sampling technique, the inclusion criteria were pregnant women who were willing, able to read and write, and without complications. Data collection is carried out using an Hb meter that has been tested and calibrated by an expert at the time of purchase. The questionnaire sheet has also been tested for validity and reliability. Analysis uses the chi-square statistical test Results: Characteristics of respondents based on age 20-35 were 39 respondents 62.0%, working as housewives 26 respondents (41.2%), low economic status 44 respondents (65.0%), chi-square results showed that the square obtained p-value was 0.023, p value < 0.05.Conclusion: There is a relationship between economic status and anemia status in pregnant women at the Kediri health center

Pregnancy Anemia its Relation to Low Birth Weight (Lbw) Incidence

Anemia is one of the major nutritional issues in Indonesia and a prevalent problem among pregnant women worldwide, with a relatively high incidence rate. Pregnant women are particularly susceptible to anemia because the increased nutritional requirements during pregnancy are crucial for both maternal health and fetal growth. Pregnancy-related anemia is defined as a hemoglobin (Hb) level less than 11 (g/dL) in the blood of pregnant women. This study aims to analyze the relationship between anemia and the occurrence of Low Birth Weight (LBW). The research was conducted in the VK Room of Sugio Primary Health Care, Lamongan Regency, over a period of 2 months in August-September 2023. The research method used was a Retrospective Observational Study with a Cross-Sectional design. Based on the Chi-Square statistical test results, the p-value was 0.025 (p-value < 0.05). In conclusion, this study found a significant association between anemia during pregnancy and the incidence of LBW.

Family Support and Mother's Perception in Compliance with Providing Complete Basic Immunization for Babies (Aged 0-12 Months) in Padang, Indonesia

There are around 20 million children in the world who do not receive complete immunization. One indicator of the success of a complete basic immunization program is its achievement of complete basic immunization (IDL) in Indonesia, which has reached 87.8% and needs to be increased to reach the target of 93%. This study aimed to find out family support and mothers' perceptions regarding compliance with providing complete basic immunization for babies (aged 0-12 months) in Padang. Research methods using mixed methods, quantitative using a cross-sectional approach and qualitative using a phenomenological approach, were carried out in July-August 2021, a sample of 91 people, namely babies at the Ambacang Health Center and Lapai Health Center 2021 and 17 informants. Data analysis using the Chi-square test and regression test. This logistics is to obtain and obtain a description, analysis, interpretation, and factors that most influence the complete basic immunization factors for babies at the Ambacang Health Center and Lapai Health Center, Padang. The results of the Chi-square statistical test results on maternal perception 0.000) and family support (0.020), So it can be concluded that there is an influence of family support on the mother’s perception, with the provision of complete basic immunization for babies (aged 0-12 months) in Padang. The Relation of Students Knowledge About Potential Chemical Hazards with Work Accidents in the Chemistry Laboratory of the Department of Nutrition, Health Polytechnic, Ministry of Health, Palangka Raya

A chemistry laboratory is a place that has the potential to pose a danger to students during practicum. One factor that influences the incidence of work accidents in educational laboratories is student knowledge, especially about potential chemical hazards. This study aims to determine the relationship between students’ knowledge about potential chemical hazards With Accident events Work In The Chemistry Laboratory Of The Department Of Nutrition, Health Polytechnic, Ministry Of Health, Palangka Raya. This research is a type of quantitative research, the analytic observation method with a cross-sectional design. Sampling using a total sampling technique. The instrument for measuring knowledge and the incidence of work accidents is in the form of a questionnaire and has been tested for validity and reliability. The data obtained were analyzed by chi-square test with a significance level of 95%. The sample in this study was 73 respondents 17-24 years old with a gender distribution of 9 (12%) males and 64 (88%) females. The range of knowledge scores is a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 90, the median is 70 and the mean is 67.4. The level of knowledge is 40 (54.8%) good and 33 (45.2%) less. Based on the results of the study, as many as 26 respondents (35,6%) had experienced work accidents and as many as 47 respondents (64.4%) had never had work accidents. The chi-square statistical test results showed no relationship between student knowledge of potential chemical hazards and accident events in chemistry laboratories. The conclusion of this research is that there was not a relationship between student knowledge of potential chemical hazards with accident events Work in chemistry laboratories of the Nutrition Department of the Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health, Palangka Raya. Further research should be carried out regarding other variables that influence the incidence of work accidents in chemical laboratories.

The Relationship Between Protein Consumption and Hemoglobin Levels of Female Students of Universitas Teuku Umar

Anemia is a condition of the body where the hemoglobin (Hb) level in the blood is lower than the normal value, resulting in pallor, weakness, fatigue, dizziness, lack of appetite, decreased fitness, decreased work ability, decreased immunity and impaired wound healing. Protein plays a role in the storage and transportation and absorption of iron. Inadequate protein intake can lead to disturbances in iron metabolism which can affect hemoglobin formation, causing anemia. Adolescent girls are one of the groups that are prone to anemia because adolescent girls experience the menstrual cycle every month. In addition, the condition will be even worse if a woman is married and pregnant, because pregnancy requires more iron for the growth and development of the fetus, which has an impact on infant mortality, abnormal births, low birth weight, and maternal mortality. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between protein consumption and hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls. This study used a cross-sectional design and was descriptive analytic. The results of this study showed about 52.7% of respondents had insufficient protein consumption and 60% were anemic. There is a relationship between protein consumption patterns and hemaglobin levels with the value of chi-square statistical test results obtained p value <0.05, namely 0.001.

Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Remaja Menggunakan Narkoba di Desa Surbakti Kecamatan Simpang Empat Kabupaten Karo Tahun 2022

Drugs are substances that can have certain effects on those who use them by inserting the drug into their bodies. This research aims to look at the factors that influence teenagers using drugs in Surbakti Village, Simpang Empat District, Karo Regency in 2022. The type of research used in this research is quantitative analytical with a cross sectional approach method where the sample is 30 respondents using simple random sampling techniques and the type of data used is primary data obtained directly from respondents and secondary data taken from the Village head's office. Based on the research results obtained, the chi-square statistical test results based on environment obtained p=0.977, namely there is no relationship between the environment and teenagers who use drugs. Based on personality, it was obtained that p=0.084, namely there is a relationship between personality and teenagers who use drugs. Based on family, it was found that p=0.163, namely there was no relationship between family and teenagers who used drugs. Based on education, it was found that p=0.104, namely there is a relationship between education and teenagers who use drugs. This means that p is smaller than the value of a (0.05) and thus Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected, which means there is no relationship between environment, personality, family and education and teenagers who use drugs.

HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DENGAN KEPATUHAN DIET PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE II

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease that occurs when the pancreas is disable to produce insulin, which isenergy. Good knowledge determines adherence to diet in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and dietary compliance of patients with type II diabetes mellitus at WolterMonginsidiTk.IIHospital Manado. This study was conducted in August on patients with diabetes mellitus at WolterMonginsidiTk.IIHospital Manado with population are 141 respondents and 35 respondents was taken as samples of this research with using non-probability sampling technique type which is accidental sampling technique. The type of this research was using descriptive analytic method with a cross sectional approach, and used questionnaire as research instrument. The data was collected and analysed using Chi-square test with a significance (α) ≤0.01. The results of Chi-square statistical test obtained ρ-value (α = 0.01). This means that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and dietary compliance in patients with diabetes mellitus at the WolterMonginsidiTk.II Hospital Manado. The conclusion of this studythere is a relationship between knowledge and dietary compliance in patients with diabetes mellitus. The suggestion from this study is hopefully this study can give benefit in Nursing development.

DUKUNGAN KESEHATAN JIWA PSIKOSOSIAL TERHADAP RESILIENSI MASYARAKAT MENGHADAPI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

According to WHO (2020) the emergence of maniam pandemics causes stress in various communities. Although there has been no systematic review of the impact of COVID-19 on mental health, a number of studies related to bird flu and SARS panemi) have shown a negative impact on the mental health of sufferers. The purpose of this study is to know the Influence of Psychosocial Mental Health Support on Community Resilience Facing the Covid-19 Pandemic in Wiayah Kerja Puskesmas Kuranji Padang year 2020. This research is quantitative cross sectional design study. The sample in this study was 98 respondents. This research was conducted in kuranji padang health center area conducted in December to February 2021. The data used is primary data and secondary data. The results of the study obtained psychosocial mental health support to the pandemic from 98 respondents more than half who did not support (51.9%) while the supporting (40.9%). Psychosocial mental health support for the pandemic period from 98 respondents more than half who did not bow (59.1%) while the supporting (40.9%). Chi-Square statistical test results obtained P value 0.012 (P<0.05), it can be concluded that there is a significant link between psychosocial mental health support to the resilience of the community facing the covid-19 pandemic.

OVERVIEW SELF-EFFICACY AND SELF-ACCEPTANCE IN TUBERCULOSIS SUFFERERS

Background: Tuberculosis is still a major health problem in Indonesia, especially in the working area of the East Health Center in Surabaya, the long treatment of tuberculosis causes sufferers to have low self-efficacy and poor self-acceptance. Objective: This study aims to analyze the relationship between self-efficacy and the self-acceptance of patients with Tb. Method: The design research is an analytic study with a cross-sectional approach. The study population of 46 patients with active treatment for the last 3 months in the work area of the community Health Center in Surabaya by 46 patients. Results: A sample of 41 respondents taken by simple random sampling technique. The independent variable is self-efficacy, the dependent variable is self-acceptance. The instrument uses a questionnaire. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test with significance value α = 0.05. The results showed that of 41 respondents the majority (57.3%) had low self-efficacy, and the majority (57.3%) had poor self-acceptance. Chi-Square statistical test results obtained value ρ = 0.008 < a = 0.05 shows there is a relationship of self-efficacy with self-acceptance of patients with TB in the work area of the East Perak Health Center in Surabaya. Conclusions: Conclusions of the study that the lower the self-efficacy in patients with Tb the worse the self-acceptance and vice versa. Patients with TB should further improve their efficacy by always obeying health workers' advice and treatment regularly. The role of nurses in improving self-efficacy by providing education to sufferers and families, working together to care more, and motivate patients so that treatment success.

FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN IBU NIFAS TENTANG PEMBERIAN ASI EKSKLUSIF DI PUSKESMAS LUBUK BAJA KOTA BATAM

Learning achievement is a term that indicates a degree of success in the learning process. High or low achievement that can be achieved by someone in learning is influenced by several factors where these factors are related to one another, the low learning achievement caused by several factors such as motivation, interest, and social environment will have an impact on unsatisfactory GPA. Because in the world of work requires people with the best graduate grades to benefit in a company. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with learning achievement. This type of research uses analytic surveys with Cross Sectional approach. This research collection includes all students in level 1 consisting of 84 students, with a sample of 74 respondents, using the Chi-Square analysis technique. Research using Google form. From the results of the study there were 40 respondents (81.6%) with high motivation achieving very satisfying learning achievement. Chi-Square statistical test results obtained p-value 0,000 <0.05, then there is a relationship between motivation and learning achievement. From 45 respondents (78.9%) with high interest in achieving very satisfying learning achievement Chi-Square statistical test results obtained p-value 0,000 <0.05, so there is a relationship between interest and learning achievement. Of the 48 respondents (70.6%) with a high social environment achieved very satisfying learning achievements. Chi-Square statistical test results obtained p-value 0.001 <0.05, then there is a relationship between the social environment and learning achievement. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between motivation and learning achievement, the relationship between interest in learning achievement, and the relationship between social environment and learning achievement of first-year medical students at Batam University in 2019.

HUBUNGAN RESIKO TINGGI USIA IBU HAMIL DENGAN KEJADIAN HIPERTENSI DALAM KEHAMILAN DI PUSKESMAS BATU AJI

Pregnancy is the fertilization or union of sperm and ovum and is followed by bullying or implantation. One of the diseases that often threatens pregnancy is the age at risk of developing hypertension during pregnancy. 39 (66.1%) pregnant women with hypertension, and 36 (61.0%) at risk. This study aims to determine the relationship between the high risk of maternal age and the incidence of hypertension in pregnancy at the Batu Aji Health Center, Batam City in 2020. The design of this study used analytical design or cross sectional design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Research respondents needed in this study were 59 respondents. Chi-Square statistical test results obtained value (p value = 0.03<0.05), indicating that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Conclusion: there is a significant relationship between the high risk of maternal age and the incidence of hypertension in pregnancy at the Batu Aji Health Center, Batam City in 2020. It is hoped that pregnant women must carry out pregnancy checks regularly and need counseling and apply low-fat and high-protein foods to overcome them. the occurrence of hypertension in pregnancy.

Hubungan Anemia Pada Ibu Hamil Terhadap Kejadian BBLR di RSIA Sitti Khadijah 1 Makassar

In 2011, there were 32.4 million pregnant women aged 15-49 years in the world experiencing anemia. Data (WHO 2011) shows that around (30%) pregnant women in Indonesia experience anemia. This figure is higher compared to some other countries in Southeast Asia such as Malaysia (27%), Singapore (28%), and Vietnam (23%). This study aims to determine the relationship of anemia in pregnant women with the incidence of low birth weight babies (LBW) in the Mother and Child Hospital Sitti Khadijah 1 Makassar in 2018. Research conducted is descriptive analytic using cross sectional method in which a study, variables including risk factors and variables including effects are observed at once at the same time. Based on data from 70 pregnant women who have anemia, there are 66 pregnant women classified as mild anemia (94.3%) and 4 pregnant women with moderate anemia category (5.7%). Of the 23 pregnant women who gave birth to LBW babies were categorized into mild anemia as many as 22 (31.4%) and moderate anemia as much as 1 (1.42%). Based on the chi-square statistical test results obtained p value more than 0.05 (p = 0.601) which means there is no significant relationship between anemia in pregnant women with the incidence of low birth weight in the Mother and Child Hospital Sitti Khadijah 1 Makassar in 2018.

The Relationship Between Mother's Knowledge and Handling of Fever Seizures in Children aged 1-5 years in Central Village, Pancur Batu District in 2020

Febrile convulsion often found in children 3-5 years old. This problem is a seizure that occurs when the body temperature rises and is caused by the extracranium process. This research was to decide the relationship between mother’s knowledge and management of febrile convulsion in children 1-5 years old in the Tengah village of Pancur Batu district 2020. This research is a cross-sectional study. We used to simple random sampling technique with 30 respondents. We used a questionnaire for the instrument. The final results showed that the majority of mother's knowledge regarding the management of febrile seizures was in the good category (86.7%) and the majority of febrile seizure management was in the category (90.0%). The results of chi-square statistical test show there is a relationship between knowledge of the mother with the handling of febrile seizures in children in the Tengah village of Pancur Batu District in 2020 (p value = 0,039). This study is expected to be an alternative for health workers to increase the promotion and prevention of problems related to the first treatment of febrile seizures. A person's knowledge is a factor that can influence a mother to take action, the better the mother's knowledge of diseases or health problems, the better the handling and vice versa, if the mother's knowledge is less, the handling of health problems will be better. Health education to the community will be a means to increase knowledge about handling health problems in the community.

The Relationship of Family Support and Stress with the Quality of Life of the Elderly Type II Diabetes Mellitus

Diabetes is a serious chronic disease that occurs because the pancreas does not produce enough insulin. Quality of life is very important to get serious attention, because the quality of life is something that is closely related to a person's health condition, the severity of the disease, the duration of healing, and can even aggravate the condition of the disease to death if a person has a poor quality of life. This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and stress with the quality of life of the elderly with type II diabetes mellitus in the Sekupang Health Center, Batam City, 2020. Data collection usedthe questionnaire brought by the researcher to the population elderly people with Type II Diabetes Mellitusin Batam City in 2020. The inclusion criteria are elderly who are willing to be respondents, elderly who suffer from Diabetes Mellitus Type II, elderly who are ≥60 years old, elderly who can communicate well, and elderly who do not experience cognitive impairment. Research respondents involved in this study were 64 respondents. Chi-Square statistical test results obtained value (p value = 0.000 &lt;0.05), indicating that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Conclusion: there is a significant relationship between family support and stress with the quality of life of the elderly with type II diabetes mellitus in the Sekupang Health Center, Batam City, 2020.

Correlation of Iron Tablet (Fe) Consumption in Adolescent Pregnant Women with the Weight of a New Born

Background: Iron tablets have many benefits such as reducing the risk of death during bleeding, preventing anemia, and increasing nutritional intake in the fetus. Pregnant women with adolescence are at higher risk of anemia and death than pregnant women of sufficient age. One impact that occurs due to the low consumption of iron tablets in teenage pregnant women is babies born with conditions such as low birth weight, normal weight, and overweight babies born.Objectives: This study to analyze the correlation between iron consumption tablets of adolescent pregnant women with the weight of new born.Methods: This research is a quantitative study that uses secondary data in the form of data from the 2017 IDHS. There are 692 teenage pregnant female respondents with variable consumption of iron tablets and birth weight of babies. Data analysis in the study used the Chi-Square test.Results: Teenage pregnant women who consume iron tablets by 70.8% and those who do not consume 29.2%. The category of babies born mostly at the weight of normal-born babies is 84.8%. While the low infant weight category is 10.7% with a fairly high amount. Chi-Square statistical test results showed a p value of 0.019 (p = 0.019 &lt;0.05) and the Contingency Coefficient showed a value of 0.107.Conclusions: There was correlation between consumption of iron tablets in adolescent pregnant women with the weight of new born with the category of low birth weight babies, babies born normally and more babies born in Indonesia.Keywords: Iron tablets (Fe), teenage pregnant women, the weight of new born

Cervical cancer is a public health problem, one of the non-communicable diseases and many cause of death in women, both in the world and in Indonesia. Cervical cancer is second in terms of cancer in women after breast cancer, the incidence rate is still high even though there is an early detection / screening program for cervical cancer. This study aims to determine the determinants associated with the detection of cervical cancer. Analytic observational research design with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all WUS in the III environment of Kwala Bekala Sub-District, Medan Johor District and the sample was 85 married respondents with a sampling technique of Accidental Sampling. The data obtained were processed using the Chi-square statistical test with ? = 0.05. Univariate analysis results, age&gt; 35 years 50 (58.8%), secondary education 54 (63.5%), not working 67 (78.8%), low income 73 (85.9%), having good knowledge 31 (36.5%), mothers found the cost of early detection of cervical cancer very expensive 57 (67.1%), and received support from husbands 62 (72.9%). Chi-square statistical test results: there was a significant relationship between education (p = 0.002), employment, income and financing (p = 0,000), to early detection of cervical cancer with p &lt;? = 0.05. HUBUNGAN ANTARA PERSONAL HYGIENE DENGAN ANGKA KEJADIAN PEDICULOSIS CAPITIS PADA SANTRIWATI PONDOK PESANTREN PANCASILA BENGKULU TAHUN 2018

Pediculosis capitis is a skin or head hair infestation caused by Pediculus humanus var. Capitis. Pediculosis capitis mainly affects young children and some factors help spread Pediculosis capitis, namely socio-economic, level of knowledge, poor hygiene conditions, the density of dwellings such as boarding schools. This research method is a quantitative study with an observational analytic study with a cross-sectional approach, assessing the level of personal hygiene then relating it to the incidence of Pediculosis capitis. Data collection was carried out in August 2018. The population was 205 female students. The sample size was 127 female students using a simple random sampling technique. The statistical test used was the chi-square test using a 95% confidence level. A total of 127 respondents who met the inclusion criteria found female students with positive personal hygiene positive Pediculosis capitis infested with 50 respondents (79.4%) while female students with poor personal hygiene who were positive were infested with Pediculosis capitis as many as 63 respondents (98.4%). Students with good personal hygiene who were not infested with Pediculosis capitis were 13 respondents (20.6%) while students with poor personal hygiene who were not infested with Pediculosis capitis were 1 respondent (1.6%). Chi-square statistical test results obtained p = 0.002 (p &lt;0.05) so that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. There is a significant relationship between Personal Hygiene with the incidence of Pediculosis capitis in Bengkulu Pancasila Islamic Boarding School students in 2018.

BALANCE EXERCISE UNTUK MENCEGAH KEJADIAN JATUH PADA LANSIA

Background. Fall incident is one of the problems that often occurs in the elderly. The falling event occurs because of decreased strength in the lower extremity muscle. The elderly need balance exercises to increase muscle strength and improve body balance. The Aim of The Study. To Analyze the effect of balance exercise on falling events in the elderly. Subject and Method. The research method used is quasi experimental. The population of 60 elderly with 52 samples was divided into 26 elderly in the intervention group and 26 elderly in the control group. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The measuring instrument used is the fall event questionnaire and the Breg Balance Scale observation sheet, nominal data scales using McNemar and Chi-Square data analysis techniques. Result. McNemar and Chi-Square statistical test results show the value of p = 0,000 with a significance value α &lt;0.05. Conclusion.
