This research aims to describe the intertextuality between Elizabeth Barrett Browning's “How Do I Love Thee?” and Robert Browning's “Meeting at Night”. The focus of the present research are on how the two texts interact with one another in terms of style, theme, and linguistic structure. The study combines qualitative and descriptive methodologies, combined with Julia Kristeva's intertextual analysis. In relation to the research's findings, the intertextual relationship between the two poems not only deepens our comprehension of each author's work but also presents the dynamics of the personal and creative relationship between them. By using intertext theory by Kristeva, researchers found that both poems use transpositions to explore various interpretations and experiences of love, reflecting the poets’ individual styles and cultural contexts. In hypogram, Barrett Browning uses linguistic structures such as anaphora, repetition, and abstract language to create a contemplative atmosphere, emphasizing love's sacred nature. Therefore, this research does not only offer fresh perspectives on how the Brownings discussed their private lives but also cultivates a creative conversation that enhanced Victorian English literature's portrayal of love. It is anticipated that this research will further our understanding of how love is socially and culturally constructed in literary works and advance the field of inter-textual research.

Nearly 30% of Americans say mental health challenges could hinder their 2026 goals, says a new study by Talkspace, a leading online therapy provider, Business Wire reported Dec. 30, 2025. In response, Talkspace announced the launch of Own Your Now – an integrated campaign designed to help individuals stop delaying care and take immediate action toward emotional well‐being. The campaign is inspired by market researcher Talker Research's new findings highlighting that while traditional goals like saving money and getting fit remain top priorities, mental health challenges have emerged as a primary obstacle to success. These findings come after a year that left many feeling drained; nearly 30% of the 2,000 respondents surveyed described 2025 as either “bad” (19%) or “awful” (10%), while another 39% called it “just okay.” Despite these setbacks, there is a clear appetite for change: 49% of Americans believe 2026 will be the year they finally reach a better place mentally. Own Your Now supports this trend, emphasizing that while there is no “perfect” time to go after goals and the future you dream of, there's also no time to waste – and taking the first step toward healing can begin now. “We see so many capable, motivated people held back by emotional weight because they haven't had the support they need,” said Jon Cohen, M.D., CEO of Talkspace. “‘Own Your Now’ is a reminder that therapy isn't something you save for later; it's something you do now.”

Colored light exposure (CLE) is a common occurrence in everyday life. In today's modern society, we are increasingly exposed to various sources of colored light, including advertisements, computer and smartphone displays, energy-saving light bulbs, private settings, and street lighting with LEDs. Therefore, the effects of colored light on human physiology are becoming a subject of growing interest to both the research community and society. To gain a deeper understanding of the complex effects of long-term CLE on the human body, we have conducted a series of pioneering studies (with results published in 16 papers) over the past 8 years using the systemic physiology augmented functional near-infrared spectroscopy (SPA-fNIRS) approach. This approach facilitates concurrent brain activity measurement using fNIRS alongside multiple systemic physiological parameters. Our studies yielded a number of new findings: (i) We discovered the need for both group-level and individual-level analyses to fully understand the effects of CLE on human physiology. (ii) We found that CLE has relatively long-lasting effects on cerebrovascular and systemic physiology in humans. (iii) Yellow and short-wavelength light (i.e., blue and violet) were found to induce higher brain activation in the prefrontal cortex and visual cortex, respectively, compared to other colored lights (e.g., red, orange, and green). (iv) We observed that healthy adults exhibited a range of different types of physiological responses. Machine learning enabled us to classify the response patterns and provide new insights into the common response patterns between subjects. Given the rapid exposure of our society to new and increasing lighting levels, this research's findings are of interest and relevance to the scientific community, medical professionals, and society.

The key to achieving excellent governance lies in the effective management of village funds. The aim of this research is to examine how the competence of village officials, the utilization of the Village Financial Information System (SISKEUDES), and the discipline of supervision and leadership style affect the accountability of village fund management. This research was conducted on village officials in all villages in Lariang District, Pasangkayu Regency, totaling 63 people who were determined purposively. A questionnaire was used to gather primary data, and the Partial Least Square (PLS) method was used for analysis. The research's findings demonstrate that the accountability of village fund management is significantly improved by the capability of the village apparatus and the application of SISKEUDES. These results indicate that achieving transparent and accountable village fund management requires both enhancing the apparatus's knowledge and abilities, and making the best use of the village financial information system. These results strengthen the argument in contingency theory. Furthermore, the impact of the competence of village officials and the application of SISKEUDES on the village fund management’s accountability is not influenced by supervision or leadership style. In addition, this research has implications for strategies to enhance the village fund management’s accountability. Such strategies could include enhancing the competence of village officials and maximising the usage of SISKEUDES.

This publication continues a series of articles introducing into scientific circulation findings of the archaeological re-search into the cultural layer of the first Russian provincial town of Tobolsk in Siberia. In the area of the Chukman exca-vation, laid in the southeastern part of Cape Chukman, in addition to fortifications of different periods, a section of the upper trading quarter with housing and economic development was studied. A comprehensive analysis of archaeologi-cal, historical and cartographic sources made it possible to identify features of the planning structure of this territory during the 17th–18th centuries. This includes its gradual transformation into a recreational zone in the 19th century, (which still exists). The characteristics of the findings allow us to conclude that the inhabitants of the cape had a fairly high level of material well-being; i.e. some houses even had expensive tiled stoves.

Problematic consumption of digital experiences poses rising risks to consumer well-being, yet early detection remains challenging. This article examines whether data routinely collected in digital products can reveal indicators of problematic use. Drawing on dual-process theory, research on compulsive consumption, and clinical diagnostic criteria, the study proposes that Net Promoter Score (NPS) inversion—defined as negative evaluation of a product concurrent with sustained or increased consumption—may signal dysregulated use. The prevalence of this pattern is assessed using data from a free-to-play mobile game with loot boxes, indicating that a sizable proportion of users exhibit NPS inversion. These users report disliking the game yet continue playing, possibly experiencing problems with self-control and compulsion. The study discusses implications of this finding for research and emphasizes applications of such data in in-market systems for early detection and prevention.

In an organization that requires a lot of work, like a hospital, non-medical logistical management is essential. Hospital services in different sections run smoothly because to logistics management. Frequent stock shortages in storage warehouses are one example of how many hospitals fall short of logistics management standards, which eventually results in hospital losses and no additional implementation evaluation. According to the study's findings, the El Syifa Kuningan public hospital's logistics management implementation is still lacking. Starting with subpar planning, budgeting, procurement that takes too long due to lengthy procedures, storage, distribution, deletion, and monitoring that needs to be reviewed on a regular basis. In order to enhance hospital services, a logistics management evaluation was conducted based on the current issues in order to improve the logistics management procedure for non-medical commodities. Improvements to the logistics management system for non-medical commodities in line with the logistics management cycle are suggested by the research's findings in order to facilitate better implementation.

One of the main concerns related to health for Malaysians is the widespread poor dietary habits. The underlying reasons could be attributed to economic and psychological factors. Based on past literature, it is found that low income, loneliness and distress could potentially collectively contribute to poor dietary choices. The present research aims to examine the potential associations between economic and psychological factors with poor dietary habits among B40 youths in Malaysia. The research successfully recruited 397 B40 Malaysian youths aged between 21 and 39 years to complete a cross-sectional survey. The results from mediation analysis confirmed our initial prediction, which is that higher income could lower chances of the consumption of unhealthy foods (B = −0.05, p = .03), but psychological insecurities, such as distress (B = 0.01, p = .02) and loneliness (B = 0.01, p = .03), would cause an opposing outcome. The findings of this research further contribute to the current understanding and common conception that the limitations of healthy diets among low-income groups may result from economic constraints and psychological limitations. However, the effect sizes are almost negligible, and the mediation analysis revealed that there are no significant interaction effects between income with psychological distress (B = −0.00, p = .54) and loneliness (B = −0.00, p = .0.98). It is recommended that future research explore the connection between income and psychological factors that precede poor dietary habits, utilising different measures and recruiting a larger sample to confirm the present research's findings.

Encryption, which is based on the science of cryptography, is required to protect data and information in computer networks. As computing overhead rises, available encryption techniques are put to the test. It is necessary to assess the encryption algorithms' performance in order to establish their applicability for various security scenarios and applications. The findings of available research on comparison studies and performance evaluation of encryption algorithms are inconsistent, therefore the authors could not draw any conclusions about the encryption algorithms' performance based on different metrics. Three of the most widely debated encryption algorithms, Rivest, Shamir, Adelman (RSA), Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), and Data Encryption Standard (DES) were implemented and simulated in the Java programming environment in this study. Some selected text data files were used to drive the simulation. Metrics such as encryption time, decryption time, memory utilization and data size were used to measure the performances of the selected algorithms. When the three selected algorithms were run on 50 bytes data size, AES had encryption time of 40ms, decryption time 37ms, and memory utilization of 12MB. DES had encryption time 38ms, decryption time of 35ms and memory utilization of 08MB. RSA had encryption time 36ms, decryption time of 34ms and memory utilization of 10MB. When the three selected algorithms were run on 500 bytes data size, AES had encryption time of 65ms, decryption time 61ms, and memory utilization of 25MB. DES had an encryption time of 60ms, decryption time of 58ms and memory utilization of 17MB. RSA had an encryption time of69ms, decryption time of 65ms and memory utilization of 21MB. In conclusion, DES performed better than other algorithms in both small and large data sizes for all metrics considered.

The study adopts Geographic Information System (GIS) application to analyse the accessibility and spatial configuration of public education at the Secondary Schools (SSs) level in the Osun West Senatorial District (OWSD), Nigeria, in order to provide information and materials to strengthen and promote secondary school education planning. The study also analyses the location of public secondary schools as well as the usage of the allocated space. The data for this study were obtained on the field by using the Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine and analyse the coverage area of OWSD's 116 Public Secondary Schools (PSSs) based on population density. Settlements with public secondary schools (PSSs) were stratified into three different categories: suburb, with less than 10,000 people; semi-urban with 10,000–19,999 people; and urban with 20,000 people and above. Descriptive statistics and GIS were employed to analyse the acquired data. The research findings established that PSSs within 1km radius (Rs) buffer of the study area were clustered, with 81.8% in the urban were clustered while in the semi-urban and suburb settlement categories 20% and 70.0% respectively were dispersed. According to the findings, at a buffer of 2km Rs, 64.8% of the PSSs in urban settlements were clustered, while (21.4%) and the majority (71.4%) were dispersed in semi-urban and suburb settlements, respectively. In addition, results established that at the buffer of 3km, PSSs were clustered at 63.3% in the urban, 23.1% were dispersed in the semi-urban, and 69.2% in the suburb settlements. Moreover, at 4km buffer PSSs, it is apparent from the findings that the majority of the schools at 55.9% in the urban settlements were clustered, while most of the PSSs at 35.7% in the semi-urban settlements and 56.1% in the suburb settlements were dispersed. Conclusively, this research established a high rate of uneven accessibility to PSSs in OWSD. As a result, it is recommended that foreign and private investors, stakeholders, and government need to pool their resources in order to ensure adequate PSSs education availability to all settlement categories.

Autoencoders have developed into neural search networks in recent years, and the majority of machine learning (ML) methods rely on the input properties to produce high-quality models. Increased dimensionality is a challenge that arises with larger datasets, which significantly reduces machine learning efficiency. In order to reduce the significant amount of high-dimensional data, researchers have developed feature reduction and selection techniques like Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and autoencoders with their different variations, including Convolutional autoencoders, Sparse autoencoders, Denoising autoencoders, Contractive autoencoders, Variational autoencoders, and Deep autoencoders. This paper discusses neural search structures, evolutionary methods, and various autoencoder types. A number of optimization techniques to increase training accuracy and decrease training time are also covered in the review. By thoroughly reviewing the literature from five scholarly databases on the subject, extracting pertinent information using a PRISMA flow diagram, and applying the proper eligibility criteria to synthesize and evaluate the best papers found, the research project adopted a thorough, detailed review. According to the research's findings, several neural search architectures and autoencoders used for data reconstruction have improved, including Venkataraman's Convolutional AEs, Baier et al.'s Self-Supervised Siamese Autoencoders, Lazebnik & Simon-Keren's Knowledge-integrated Autoencoder Model, Chen et al.'s Dirichlet Neural Architecture Search, and Zhang et al.'s Graph Hypernetworks for Neural Architecture Search.

Abstract: Translation courses have been taught in Iranian universities for several decades. The undergraduate curriculum of translation, English language, and literature offers a course titled "Translation of Literary Texts." Despite this, translation researchers have paid less attention to literary translation as a separate genre and field of translation. Hence, it is necessary to understand the views of the academic stakeholders, such as teachers and students of literary translation, about the approach to teaching literary translation. Thus, the present research aims to examine the views of teachers and learners of literary translation in Iran's high-ranking universities about the approach to teaching literary translation in the academic setting to clarify the degree of compatibility of this approach with the requirements of social constructivism in translation education. For this purpose, The views of 39 teachers and 74 learners of literary translation were collected through semi-structured interviews, and the findings were analyzed using thematic analysis. The approach to teaching literary translation in terms of topics, course materials, teaching procedure, and teaching tools was described and categorized. The research's findings revealed that the linguistic, literary, and translation topics were the most frequently discussed topics in the literary translation classes, and less attention was paid to the topics related to the needs of the literary translation market. Although the literary translation teaching approach in Iranian universities is interactive and collaborative, the scaffolding and strong role of the teacher, as well as the lack of attention to the conditions and needs of the translation market, are contrary to the requirements of social constructivism in translation education.

In today's world, isolation among older folks is a serious health risk. Despite being a phenomenon that has the potential to greatly affect people's quality of life and well-being, the problem has not gotten much attention up to this point. The purpose of this meta-analysis and systematic review is to compile the research on the prevalence of isolation and the factors that influence it. This research is a meta-analysis and systematic review. From 2014 to 2024, a thorough literature search was carried out using Scopus, PubMed, EMBASE, and Google Scholar. This review includes 113 studies in total. According to the meta-analysis, 27.6% of this population experienced isolation. With a prevalence rate of 30.5%, North America has the highest prevalence of isolation among older persons; the highest prevalences were among older women (30.2%) and institutionalized older adults (50.3%). According to the research's overall findings, loneliness affects about one in four elderly individuals worldwide, which is a significant statistic. Given the correlation between isolation and a number of clinical, social, and health factors, such as depression, suicidal thoughts, and death, as well as the projected increase in the elderly population, mental health professionals and legislators need to create and execute programs that reduce isolation in the elderly.
