In the context where international scientific publications are increasingly used as a key indicator in research evaluation and research management, accurately verifying whether articles are indexed in Scopus has become an essential requirement for higher education institutions and research organizations. However, current verification practices are largely based on checking journal titles, which entails significant risks of misclassification due to the existence of discontinued journals or articles published outside the periods covered by Scopus. This paper presents the development and experimental implementation of a tool designed to support the verification of Scopus-indexed articles at the individual article level, based on the exploitation of scholarly identifiers and cross-referencing metadata through the Scopus API. The results indicate that the proposed tool is capable of standardizing article metadata and accurately identifying journal indexing status and coverage periods. By doing so, the tool contributes to improving accuracy, transparency, and accountability in the management and evaluation of scholarly publications.

IT projects are carried out in the context of the constant development of rapidly obsolete technologies and the variability of user expectations. Implementation of IT projects is closely related to risks, the nature of which depends on factors such as subject area, technology used, number of involved developers, etc. Risk management (RM) is multivariate, which determines the search for comprehensive solutions to increase the effectiveness of RM in projects. For IT projects, this problem is particularly relevant due to the backlog of knowledge gained from technology development and intangible results that limit the possibilities of initial planning and risk control. The object of the article's research is the RM process of IT projects. The subject of the study is to determine the issue of selecting and using RM methods and models, taking into account the peculiarities of IT projects. Two groups of methodologies are allocated: methodologies-standards and methodologies based on system development lifecycle (SDLC). PMBOK and ISO 21500 are referred to standard methodologies. The classification of project management (PM) methodologies is generalized. PM methodologies based on system life cycles include flexible Scrum methodologies, Kanban and extreme programming, as well as cascading PM methodologies using the critical path method (CPM) and critical chain project management (CCPM) projects. As a result of the analysis of the main characteristics of IT projects, the peculiarities of the application of methods and models in the management of risks of IT projects in comparison with projects in other fields are determined. The received recommendations can be used for decision-making in the management of IT projects when the project goals are achieved through the correct identification, assessment, and risk control.

The article examines theoretical and applied aspects of improving the system of economic analysis of financial stability of commercial enterprises under conditions of increased economic instability. The limitations of traditional analysis methods focused mainly on static profitability indicators and not taking into account profit stability over time are substantiated. Special attention is paid to the introduction of a new analytical indicator – the Profit Volatility Index (PVI), which makes it possible to assess the variability of financial results over an extended period. The economic essence of profit volatility is revealed, a calculation formula and threshold values for interpreting the indicator are proposed. Using the example of two commercial enterprises, a comparison of the results of traditional economic analysis and analysis using the PVI indicator is carried out, which made it possible to identify hidden risks to financial stability not reflected by standard coefficients. The results obtained confirm the scientific and practical significance of integrating the PVI indicator into the system of economic analysis of profitability and financial stability of enterprises. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the need to improve the system of economic analysis of financial stability of commercial enterprises through the introduction of an indicator that takes into account profit volatility. The subject of the article's research is the system of economic analysis of financial stability of commercial enterprises. The object of research in the article is a commercial enterprise.

Analyzed are the articles of Ukrainian and foreign researchers concerning the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the educational process. Currently, in the process of professional training, modern digital platforms, various applications, and AI tools are actively used. Scholars study how exactly these technologies influence learning processes, students’ motivation, and the effectiveness of training specialists under new conditions. In the context of our study, we highlight the specific features of using AI tools in mathematics classes at higher education institutions in Ukraine. Increasingly, researchers discuss the effectiveness of applying AI tools in university education. When learning to solve mathematical problems, this instrument serves as a valuable assistant, as it is adapted to mathematical tasks of different levels. However, its use should not become an end in itself. It should serve as a support tool — to verify one’s reasoning and results or to assist when a given task appears too difficult for the student. The tool can also help save time on routine and complex calculations, provided that the student has well-developed corresponding skills. AI offers significant advantages such as personalized learning, improved learning outcomes, and increased student engagement. Using AI tools in the learning process helps develop the ability to work with information (to analyze, process, and interpret it), fosters critical thinking, and promotes awareness of the importance of enhancing the level of professional and mathematical training necessary for various fields. It is noted that through methodologically sound integration of digital and AI-based learning assistants, we can not only maintain but even improve the quality of mathematics education for future professionals.

The subject of this article's research is three interrelated concepts: knowledge, thinking, and management. A comprehensive analysis of these concepts, the definition of key terms and mechanisms reveals their significant commonality. The study of the knowledge system implies: consideration of methods for constructing the knowledge system, a comparative analysis of these methods, determination of the possibility of forming a meaningful model of knowledge; analysis of thinking – a set of event chains that make up the process of working memory in the cognitive system; managing complex systems, including real-time management of cognitive systems. In conclusion, the social aspect of the development of artificial cognitive systems is examined in the context of the established concepts of the knowledge-thinking-management cycle during the transition of civilization to the stage of cognitive technology civilization, characterized by a sharp increase in the significance of artificial cognitive systems. The research methodology is based on the use of knowledge from many fields: epistemology, general system theory and the methodology of scientific cognition, cognitive systems theory, management theory, and others. Various actor-oriented approaches were used as tools for implementing tasks related to building knowledge systems, developing thinking, and management. The scientific novelty of the research presented in the article lies in the comprehensive consideration of all three components of the knowledge-thinking-management cycle. To achieve this, each of the corresponding concepts in the subject areas is analyzed within the frameworks of their relevant theoretical approaches while ensuring the commonality of terminology and concepts used. Significant results of the research include the formalization of the differences between the categories of understanding and comprehension, and through them, approaches to constructing syntactic and semantic models of knowledge. One of the most promising methods for improving cognitive systems is the addition of the attention mechanism with a special extension – a librarian that indexes data in long-term memory according to syntactic and semantic markers, as well as performs preliminary calculations to solve typical tasks that require significant time resources.

The purpose of this article is to examine the policy's impact and provide evidence on the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Indonesia, which reduces poverty and social inequality and promotes financial inclusion for low-income families. Because Indonesian society has not yet developed significantly, the results of government initiatives need to be demonstrated. This article's research uses qualitative methods combined with a descriptive approach. Social welfare is an institution or field of activity involving organized activities carried out by both government and private institutions aimed at preventing, addressing, or contributing to the resolution of social problems and improving the quality of life of individuals, groups, and communities. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Benjeng District, Gresik Regency, East Java, remains poorly targeted and has not achieved its intended goals. PKH assistance is provided to residents who should not receive it. This helps the local government improve the process.

This bibliometric study aimed to identify and analyze the classic articles in the Web of Science category 'Dentistry, Oral Surgery and Medicine,' providing insights into the characteristics, citation patterns, and evolving trends that define the field's most influential publications. Articles published between 1960 and 2020 were extracted from the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-EXPANDED) database. Classic articles were defined as those with ≥1000 citations as of the end of 2024. Bibliometric indicators such as total citations (TC2024), citations in 2024 (C2024), citations per publication (CPP2024), and authorship patterns were analyzed. Citation trajectories, author keywords, and institutional and international collaborations were also assessed. A total of 42 classic articles were identified. These publications were most frequently produced in the 1990s and 2000s and originated predominantly from the USA and Sweden. The University of North Carolina and the University of Gothenburg were particularly prominent. Periodontology, implantology, dental materials, and oral epidemiology were common themes. Articles such as Socransky et al. and Schiffman et al. demonstrated both sustained and recent citation influence. Word frequency analysis highlighted topics such as plaque, periodontal disease, and classification systems. Citation histories revealed diverse trajectories, including delayed recognition and rapid recent influence. Classic articles in dental research reflect the field's shift toward evidence-based practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, and public health relevance. By mapping these highly cited works, this study provides a clearer understanding of the factors contributing to long-term scientific impact in dentistry, oral surgery, and medicine. This study identifies highly cited publications that have shaped clinical practice in periodontology, implantology, temporomandibular disorders, wound healing, and oral-systemic health. These works continue to guide diagnostics, treatment planning, and public health strategies, highlighting the lasting impact of foundational research and the importance of interdisciplinary, evidence-based approaches in dentistry.

Since the early 2000s, retractions of articles in biomedical research have increased exponentially, revealing growing structural tensions within the global scientific system. This article offers a critical synthesis of retractions occurring between 2000 and 2025, based on bibliometric data and socio-institutional analyses. It highlights differentiated geographical dynamics, the institutionalization of fraud, increased editorial responsibility, and typical profiles of retracted authors- often male, hyper-productive, and poorly supervised. By distinguishing between honest error and misconduct, the analysis shows that the majority of retractions are linked to serious violations (fraud, plagiarism, manipulation). Although scientific self-correction mechanisms have been strengthened, they remain imperfect, particularly considering the continued citation of retracted articles. This study underscores the urgent need to rethink academic evaluation criteria, to strengthen a culture of scientific integrity, and to establish more rigorous editorial governance. Retractions, far from being mere anomalies, emerge as systemic indicators calling for a profound reform of scientific publishing practices.

Type II diabetes is a one of the types of Diabetes Mellitus (DM) that are commonly occurring in diabetic patients worldwide. It is a condition that happens due to the inability of the body to regulate and use simple sugar (glucose) as fuel or source of energy to the body and would later lead to an increase in blood sugar level. Citrus hystrix or also known as Kaffir lime, is one of the most common citrus fruits in the Southeast Asian region that is known to have an antidiabetic potential. Consequently, this research aims to investigate the usage of Kaffir lime as a natural as well as Halalan Thayyiban antidiabetic alternatives for patients suffering from Type II Diabetes in lowering their blood sugar content. In Brunei Darussalam, most cases of DM are related to Type II Diabetes. This can be caused by the unhealthy lifestyle and unbalanced diet of many of the local citizens which are already suffering from overweight and obesity. This study has been reviewing secondary data such as books, journals and articles of other researchers of the same or similar field of research or topic as a source of reference and data collection. The findings show that Kaffir lime can be a good source of antidiabetic alternatives for diabetic patients as it is naturally occurred and Halalan Thayyiban. The phytochemical contents of the Kaffir lime which include such as flavonoids is proved to have an effective impact towards inhibiting the activity of alpha-amylase enzyme, an enzyme that catalyses the digestion of starch into simple sugars such as glucose. This could help diabetic patients to regulate their blood glucose levels accordingly with the correct amount of Kaffir lime extract intake.

The article presents the experience of studying the practices of interpreting the apocalyptic image of the Whore of Babylon in Protestantism and Old Belief. It notes the main factors that influenced the specifics of the formation and development of these practices and reflects the cause-and-effect relationship between the ecclesiological ideas of Protestants and Old Believers and the forms of their choice of approaches to interpreting this image. The relevance of this study is determined by the high level of scientific interest in the problems of Protestant and Old Believer theology in general and apocalypticism in particular, despite the fact that the topic of comparative analysis of Protestant and Old Believer apocalypticism in modern scientific research literature is poorly covered. This work attempts to shed additional light on one of the least studied aspects of this topic, which, in fact, is its scientific novelty. The purpose of this study was to identify and outline the fundamental similarities and differences seen in the approaches to interpreting the image of the Whore of Babylon used by Protestants, on the one hand, and Old Believers, on the other. In the course of revealing the topic of the article, both general scientific and special methods of scientific research were used (methods of biblical hermeneutics, chronologica, comparative-historical, and others). As a result of the study, the main approaches used by representatives of Protestantism and Old Believers in the context of developing the practices of interpreting the image of the Whore of Babylon were identified, analyzed, and compared. Based on this comparison, it was confirmed that the opinion of a number of modern thinkers, pointing to an extremely high degree of similarity between Protestants and Old Believers, does not agree with the actual state of affairs.

Italy is one of the most interesting countries for studying populism. The defining characteristic of this phenomenon is anti-elitism, which is often expressed by criticism of political parties for building a system of monopolistic control over public life — particracy. The Italian "Five Star Movement" (M5S) is one of the most interesting populist projects, which also actively used criticism of the party-political system in its rhetoric, but at the same time not only criticized the establishment, but also tried to perform politics in a fundamentally different way. The subject of this study is the antiparticracy discourse of the M5S and the influence of this discourse on the evolution of the studied political project. The methodological basis of this study is the historical-genetic method necessary to study evolution of M5S. In addition, qualitative textual and discourse analysis of primary sources were used. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the use of the prism of criticism of the particracy to trace the evolution of the M5S as a populist project. It is found that in the course of the party's organisational centralisation and with the growing integration of the "Five Stars" into the establishment, the Movement gradually reduced the degree of its criticism of party pseudo-democrats. This became especially noticeable during the "Five Stars" tenure in the country's government in 2018-2022. The subject of this article's research remains unexplored in the Russian-language literature on the "Movement". In foreign scholarship, the topic of anti-particracy discourse has been touched upon only tangentially and has not become a reason for writing separate studies. Thus, the aim of this article is to fill the existing gaps and provide a new perspective on the transformation of the "Movement" into a more mainstream party.

In this article, we developed the new construct, Experienced Appreciation in Social Interactions (EA-SI), to reduce the inconsistency in defining and measuring experienced appreciation at work. The integrative theoretical model is based on the well-validated Stress as Offense to Self-theory. To operationalize the construct, we validated the EA-SI Work Scale in two independent German samples of employees. Colleagues and supervisors were investigated as potential sources of experienced appreciation. Study One included N = 231 participants. Study Two encompassed N = 391. In both studies, we applied a cross-sectional field-study design based on self-reported surveys. Using exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses, the construct EA-SI turned out to be unidimensional. The Pearson product-moment correlations showed that the more employees felt appreciated, the higher their self-esteem and the lower their stress perception. The premises of the theoretical foundation were replicable. Higher experienced appreciation was related to more work satisfaction, life satisfaction, and work engagement, as well as lower emotional exhaustion. These relations were true for both groups of appreciators. When tested in hierarchical regressions, EA-SI added incremental prediction beyond the influence of social support in most of the analyses. The instrument's internal consistency and retest reliability were good to excellent. The results indicated the EA-SI Work Scale to be content, construct, and criterion valid. Based on these findings, the strengths and limitations of the article and possible implications for future research and practical use are discussed.

Purpose The well-being of nurses in health-care organizations is an increasingly key factor, and the increasing phenomenon of turnover and leaving of the profession by nurses undermines their attractiveness. This integrative review aims to investigate whether the leadership enforced by leaders can influence the intention to stay of their employees and which style of leadership would be most effective in facilitating retention. Design/methodology/approach This integrative review summarizes the scientific literature of the last 10 years to provide a comprehensive understanding of a leadership style in health-care organizations. The electronic biomedical databases were interviewed by MEDLINE, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature, PsycINFO, Web of Science, Scopus, ERIC and, for grey literature, Google Scholar. The articles included have been submitted to a critical appraisal through the Critical Review Form for Quantitative Studies and the Critical Review Form for Qualitative Studies Version 2.0 Findings In total, 21 articles of quantitative, qualitative and mixed method research were included, including two doctoral theses and an editorial comment from a scientific journal. Five themes are identified: Leadership style as a predictor of retention, exogenous factors, individual, organizational or endogenous factors, effects of leadership and effective leadership styles. It emerges that the leadership style strongly influences the intention to stay, and the most effective styles for this purpose are supportive, authentic or ethical and transformational. Originality/value The leader’s action influences the phenomenon of intention to stay, and proactive leadership styles contribute to the retention of nurses in their organizations. Transformational leadership appears more flexible and more suitable to favor the intention to stay.
