Q- rung orthopair probabilistic hesitant fuzzy hybrid aggregating operators in multi-criteria decision making problems

With the increase of complex information in applications of decision making problems, the use of probabilistic hesitant fuzzy set structure has expanded. Therefore, this paper aims to present two new operators namely q-rung orthopair probabilistic hesitant fuzzy hybrid weighted arithmetic and geometric (q-ROPHHWAG) operator and q-rung orthopair probabilistic hesitant fuzzy hybrid ordered weighted arithmetic and geometric (q-ROPHHOWAG) operator for q>0. The presented operators are better than existing operators in many respects as adding a new parameter, having more flexible structure and presenting comparative analysis in its own. Moreover, we mention from some properties of the proposed operators. In addition to, we give an algorithm and example to indicate effective, reality and flexible of presented method and operators. Then, we solve an example over Pythagorean probabilistic hesitant fuzzy sets with our operators and the results are agreement and the offered operators have superior effect than other operators.

Multiplicative Consistent q-Rung Orthopair Fuzzy Preference Relations with Application to Critical Factor Analysis in Crowdsourcing Task Recommendation

This paper presents a group decision-making (GDM) method based on q-rung orthopair fuzzy preference relations (q-ROFPRs). Firstly, the multiplicative consistent q-ROFPRs (MCq-ROFPRs) and the normalized q-rung orthopair fuzzy priority weight vectors (q-ROFPWVs) are introduced. Then, to obtain q-ROFPWVs, a goal programming model under q-ROFPRs is established to minimize their deviation from the MCq-ROFPRs and minimize the weight uncertainty. Further, a group goal programming model of ideal MCq-ROFPRs is constructed to obtain the expert weights using the compatibility measure between the ideal MCq-ROFPRs and the individual q-ROFPRs. Finally, a GDM method with unknown expert weights is solved by combining the group goal programming model and the simple q-rung orthopair fuzzy weighted geometric (Sq-ROFWG) operator. The effectiveness and practicality of the proposed GDM method are verified by solving the crucial factors in crowdsourcing task recommendation. The results show that the developed GDM method effectively considers the important measures of experts and identifies the crucial factors that are more reliable than two other methods.

A useful tool for expressing fuzziness and uncertainty is the recently developed n,m-rung orthopair fuzzy set (n,m-ROFS). Due to their superior ability to manage uncertain situations compared to theories of q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets, the n,m-rung orthopair fuzzy sets have variety of applications in decision-making in daily life. To deal with ambiguity and unreliability in multi-attribute group decision-making, this study introduces a novel tool called kmn\\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \\usepackage{amsmath} \\usepackage{wasysym} \\usepackage{amsfonts} \\usepackage{amssymb} \\usepackage{amsbsy} \\usepackage{mathrsfs} \\usepackage{upgreek} \\setlength{\\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \\begin{document}$$k^{n}_{m}$$\\end{document}-rung picture fuzzy set (kmn\\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \\usepackage{amsmath} \\usepackage{wasysym} \\usepackage{amsfonts} \\usepackage{amssymb} \\usepackage{amsbsy} \\usepackage{mathrsfs} \\usepackage{upgreek} \\setlength{\\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \\begin{document}$$k^{n}_{m}$$\\end{document}-RPFS). The suggested kmn\\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \\usepackage{amsmath} \\usepackage{wasysym} \\usepackage{amsfonts} \\usepackage{amssymb} \\usepackage{amsbsy} \\usepackage{mathrsfs} \\usepackage{upgreek} \\setlength{\\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \\begin{document}$$k^{n}_{m}$$\\end{document}-RPFS incorporates all of the benefits of n,m-ROFS and represents both the quantitative and qualitative analyses of the decision-makers. The presented model is a fruitful advancement of the q-rung picture fuzzy set (q-RPFS). Furthermore, numerous of its key notions, including as complement, intersection, and union are explained and illustrated with instances. In many decision-making situations, the main benefit of kmn\\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \\usepackage{amsmath} \\usepackage{wasysym} \\usepackage{amsfonts} \\usepackage{amssymb} \\usepackage{amsbsy} \\usepackage{mathrsfs} \\usepackage{upgreek} \\setlength{\\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \\begin{document}$$k^{n}_{m}$$\\end{document}-rung picture fuzzy sets is the ability to express more uncertainty than q-rung picture fuzzy sets. Then, along with their numerous features, we discover the basic set of operations for the kmn\\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \\usepackage{amsmath} \\usepackage{wasysym} \\usepackage{amsfonts} \\usepackage{amssymb} \\usepackage{amsbsy} \\usepackage{mathrsfs} \\usepackage{upgreek} \\setlength{\\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \\begin{document}$$k^{n}_{m}$$\\end{document}-rung picture fuzzy sets. Importantly, we present a novel operator, kmn\\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \\usepackage{amsmath} \\usepackage{wasysym} \\usepackage{amsfonts} \\usepackage{amssymb} \\usepackage{amsbsy} \\usepackage{mathrsfs} \\usepackage{upgreek} \\setlength{\\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \\begin{document}$$k^{n}_{m}$$\\end{document}-rung picture fuzzy weighted power average (kmn\\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \\usepackage{amsmath} \\usepackage{wasysym} \\usepackage{amsfonts} \\usepackage{amssymb} \\usepackage{amsbsy} \\usepackage{mathrsfs} \\usepackage{upgreek} \\setlength{\\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \\begin{document}$$k^{n}_{m}$$\\end{document}-RPFWPA) over kmn\\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \\usepackage{amsmath} \\usepackage{wasysym} \\usepackage{amsfonts} \\usepackage{amssymb} \\usepackage{amsbsy} \\usepackage{mathrsfs} \\usepackage{upgreek} \\setlength{\\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \\begin{document}$$k^{n}_{m}$$\\end{document}-rung picture fuzzy sets, and use it to multi-attribute decision-making issues for evaluating alternatives with kmn\\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \\usepackage{amsmath} \\usepackage{wasysym} \\usepackage{amsfonts} \\usepackage{amssymb} \\usepackage{amsbsy} \\usepackage{mathrsfs} \\usepackage{upgreek} \\setlength{\\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \\begin{document}$$k^{n}_{m}$$\\end{document}-rung picture fuzzy information. Additionally, we use this operator to pinpoint the countries with the highest expat living standards and demonstrate how to choose the best option by comparing aggregate findings and applying score values. Finally, we compare the outcomes of the q-RPFEWA, SFWG, PFDWA, SFDWA, and SFWA operators to those of the kmn\\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \\usepackage{amsmath} \\usepackage{wasysym} \\usepackage{amsfonts} \\usepackage{amssymb} \\usepackage{amsbsy} \\usepackage{mathrsfs} \\usepackage{upgreek} \\setlength{\\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \\begin{document}$$k^{n}_{m}$$\\end{document}-RPFWPA operator.

Switching perspectives: Investigating the relationships and applications of q-fractional fuzzy sets with other fuzzy set classes in decision making

We explore switching techniques between q-fractional fuzzy sets (qFr sets) and various other classes of fuzzy sets to establish connections and provide a comprehensive framework. In particular, we examine the relationships between qFr sets and interval-valued fuzzy sets (IVFS), type 2 fuzzy sets(T2FS), intuitionistic fuzzy sets(IFS), Pythagorean fuzzy sets(PFS), q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets (q-ROFS), and linear diophantine fuzzy sets(LDFS). By examining these interconnections, we aim to understand better qFr sets and their applications in a wide range of fuzzy systems. It is possible to convert qFr sets into other fuzzy set models using the derived switching techniques, facilitating the utilization of existing methods and algorithms. The versatility of qFr sets, combined with the bridging techniques presented, holds promise for addressing complex problems in decision-making, pattern recognition, and other applications where uncertainty and imprecision play significant roles. Through case studies and practical applications, we illustrate the effectiveness and usefulness of the proposed switching techniques, showcasing their potential impact on real-world scenarios.

Personal Mobility in Metaverse With Autonomous Vehicles Using Q-Rung Orthopair Fuzzy Sets Based OPA-RAFSI Model

The term metaverse, which shows a 3D-designed virtual medium where people can connect through their avatars to spend time, telecommute, and socialize, has entered our lives fast. There are limitless implementations that can take place in the metaverse. Integration of another technological innovation, which is autonomous vehicles to the metaverse, is at hand. There are numerous alternative uses of autonomous vehicles in the metaverse. In this study, three alternative implementation options for autonomous vehicles in the metaverse are investigated. These alternatives are evaluated using the proposed multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) method under twelve different criteria, which are grouped under four main aspects, namely technological, societal, legal and ethical, and transportation. A novel hybrid model based on q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets (q-ROFSs) which consists of three stages is presented to express the framework definition, calculate the weight coefficients of the criteria, and rank various alternatives. In the first stage, the structure of the problem is created. In the second stage, q-ROFSs based OPA algorithm is used to calculate the weights of the criteria. In the last stage, q-ROFSs based RAFSI (Ranking of Alternatives through Functional mapping of criterion sub-intervals into a Single Interval) is applied to choose the best alternative among the three alternatives. Finally, we present a case study to verify our proposed method. The results of this study have the potential to be used as a guide by decision-makers of the metaverse while integrating autonomous vehicles into the transportation system.

The Type-2 Q-rung Orthopair CoCoSo method for Workplace Design Problems on the Metaverse

Abstract The development of technology is changing and transforming business models in the production and service sectors around the world. Especially in this age when the fourth industrial revolution is effective with different instruments such as artificial intelligence, internet of things, and cyber physical systems, the necessity of physical presence of people in the workplaces is gradually decreasing. Like many things developed in the virtual world, the virtual arrangement of workplaces is a very innovative undertaking. It is clear that the advantage of time and cost are the main reasons for the positive reception of the idea of workplace design in the metaverse environment. In this article, the criteria for workplace design in the metaverse environment of a company operating in the IT sector were examined and alternative metaverse platforms for workplace design using these criteria were evaluated. CoCoSo method based on the Interval Type-2 q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets is used in making the evaluations. Among the 6 criteria seen as important in the study, privacy and security, size and scale, and functionality were the three most important criteria. Among the alternative platforms evaluated, Rooom and Voxels are the first two platforms to be preferred.

Multi Polar q-Rung Orthopair Fuzzy Graphs with Some Topological Indices

The importance of symmetry in graph theory has always been significant, but in recent years, it has become much more so in a number of subfields, including but not limited to domination theory, topological indices, Gromov hyperbolic graphs, and the metric dimension of graphs. The purpose of this monograph is to initiate the idea of a multi polar q-rung orthopair fuzzy graphs (m-PqROPFG) as a fusion of multi polar fuzzy graphs and q-rung orthopair fuzzy graphs. Moreover, for a vertex of multi polar q-rung orthopair fuzzy graphs, the degree and total degree of the vertex are defined. Then, some product operations, inclusive of direct, Cartesian, semi strong, strong lexicographic products, and the union of multi polar q-rung orthopair fuzzy graphs (m-PqROPFGs), are obtained. Also, at first we define some degree based fuzzy topological indices of m-PqROPFG. Then, we compute Zareb indices of the first and second kind, Randic indices, and harmonic index of a m-PqROPFG.

Hamacher Operations for Complex Cubic q-Rung Orthopair Fuzzy Sets and Their Application to Multiple-Attribute Group Decision Making

In this paper, based on the advantages of q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets (q-ROFSs), complex fuzzy sets (CFSs) and cubic sets (CSs), the concept of complex cubic q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets (CCuq-ROFSs) is introduced and their operation rules and properties are discussed. The objective of this paper was to develop some novel Maclaurin symmetric mean (MSM) operators for any complex cubic q-rung orthopair fuzzy numbers (CCuq-ROFNs) using Hamacher t-norm and t-conorm inspired arithmetic operations. The advantage of employing Hamacher t-norm and t-conorm based arithmetic operations with the MSM operator lies in their ability to take into account not only the interrelationships among multiple attributes but also to provide flexibility in the aggregation process due to the involvement of additional parameters. Also, the prominent characteristic of the MSM is that it can capture the interrelationship among the multi-input arguments and can provide more flexible and robust information fusion. Thus, based on the CCuq-ROF environment, we develop some new Hamacher operations for CCuq-ROFSs, such as the complex cubic q-rung orthopair fuzzy Hamacher average (CCuq-ROFHA) operator, the weighted complex cubic q-rung orthopair fuzzy Hamacher average (WCCuq-ROFHA) operator, the complex cubic q-rung orthopair fuzzy Hamacher Maclaurin symmetric mean (CCuq-ROFHMSM) operator and the weighted complex cubic q-rung orthopair fuzzy Hamacher Maclaurin symmetric mean (WCCuq-ROFHMSM) operator. Further, we develop a novel multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) approach based on the proposed operators in a complex cubic q-rung orthopair fuzzy environment. Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method through a detailed comparison with existing methods.

Interval-Valued p,q-Rung Orthopair Fuzzy Exponential TODIM Approach and Its Application to Green Supplier Selection

An interval-valued q-rung orthopair fuzzy set (IVqrOFS) is a robust and esteemed model in managing imprecise information, utilizing a controllable parameter q≥1. Expanding its applicability, we propose a refinement to it, termed the interval-valued p,q-rung orthopair fuzzy set, denoted IVp,qrOFS. This advancement enables the handling of scenarios where varied assessment levels for membership and non-membership grades are necessary, a challenge unaddressed by existing extensions of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets. We establish the fundamental mathematical operations for the IVp,qrOFS and explore their key properties. To compare interval-valued p,q-rung orthopair fuzzy (IVp,qrOF) numbers, a novel score function is put forward and compared to the known IVqrOFS-based score functions to determine its viability. Moreover, we present IVp,qrOF aggregation operators (AOs), accompanied by rigorous proof of their essential characteristics, including boundedness, monotonicity, and symmetry. This study introduces the interaction of IVp,qrOF criteria through the inter-criteria correlation (CRITIC) approach. This method determines criteria weights based on the proposed distance measurements and the score function. The CRITIC method is integrated with the exponential TODIM approach (exp-TODIM), resulting in an innovative decision-making framework that is less susceptible to parameter fluctuations and showcases a high stability. An illustrative example of selecting a suitable supplier is provided to demonstrate the practical application of the developed exp-TODIM approach. Finally, a sensitivity analysis is conducted to exhibit the method’s stability, and a comparative analysis is performed to elucidate its strengths and advantages.

Intelligent Medical Diagnosis Reasoning Using Composite Fuzzy Relation, Aggregation Operators and Similarity Measure of q-Rung Orthopair Fuzzy Sets

Medical diagnosis is the process of finding out what is the disease a person may be suffering from. From the symptoms and their gradation, the doctor can decide which the dominant disease is. Nevertheless, in the process of medical diagnosis, there is ambiguity, uncertainty, and a lack of medical knowledge that can adversely affect the doctor’s judgment. Thus, a tool of artificial intelligence, fuzzy logic, has come to enhance the decision-making of diagnosis in a medical environment. Fuzzy set theory uses the membership degree to characterize the uncertainty and, therefore, fuzzy sets are integrated into imperfect data in order to make a reliable diagnosis. The patient’s medical status is represented as q-rung orthopair fuzzy values. In this paper, many versions and methodologies were applied such as the composite fuzzy relation, fuzzy sets extensions (q-ROFS) with aggregation operators, and similarity measures, which were proposed as decision-making intelligent methods. The aim of this procedure was to find out which of the diseases (viral fever, malaria fever, typhoid fever, stomach problems, and chest problems), was the most influential for each patient. The work emphasizes the contribution of aggregation operators in medical data in order to contain more than one expert’s aspect. The performance of the methodology was quite good and interesting as most of the results were in agreement with previous works.

Dual Hesitant q-Rung Orthopair Fuzzy Interaction Partitioned Bonferroni Mean Operators and Their Applications

The purpose of this paper is to introduce interaction partitioned Bonferroni mean operators under dual hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy environment. Motivated by the idea of q-rung orthopair fuzzy interaction operational laws, partitioned Bonferroni mean, and dual hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets, for dual hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy numbers, we present dual hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy interaction operational rules and propose several dual hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy interaction partitioned Bonferroni mean aggregation operators, including the interaction partitioned Bonferroni mean operator for dual hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy numbers, the weighted interaction partitioned Bonferroni mean operator for dual hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy numbers, the interaction partitioned geometric Bonferroni mean operator for dual hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy numbers, and the weighted interaction partitioned geometric Bonferroni mean operator for dual hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy numbers. Moreover, some properties and special cases associated with these proposed operators are also analyzed. For dual hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy numbers, based on the proposed operators, a multicriteria group decision-making method is proposed. Finally, an example for missile purchase problem is illustrated to demonstrate the superiority and feasibility by comparing with other existing multicriteria group decision-making methods.
