Introduction. Influence of psoriasis on the patient’s psychological status and quality of life is taken into account in the recommendations for achieving the target indicators of therapy. The use of highly specific tools allows to obtain detailed estimates of patients’ life quality. Objective. To search and generalize the foreign data on the characteristics and modern examples of specific tools for monitoring life quality application in psoriasis. Material and methods. The study was performed in accordance with an analysis of data about specific tools presented in the PubMed bibliographic database. Results. Characteristics and application of specific questionnaires are considered: the questionnaire for assessment of psoriasis symptoms (PSI), the quality of life index in psoriasis (PSORIQoL), the questionnaire for evaluation of psoriasis impact (IPSO), the index of disability in psoriasis (PDI), the inventory for assessment of stress level in psoriasis (PLSI), the Salford index of psoriasis severity (SPI), the 12-item quality of life questionnaire in psoriasis (PQoL-12), the simplified scale for self-assessment of psoriasis severity (SaSPI). Discussion. Selection and use of optimal questionnaires are an important step towards determining the effectiveness of pharmacological interventions, developing working programs of individual counselling and patients’ education.
