Key specific tools for assessment of life quality of patients with psoriasis

Introduction. Influence of psoriasis on the patient’s psychological status and quality of life is taken into account in the recommendations for achieving the target indicators of therapy. The use of highly specific tools allows to obtain detailed estimates of patients’ life quality. Objective. To search and generalize the foreign data on the characteristics and modern examples of specific tools for monitoring life quality application in psoriasis. Material and methods. The study was performed in accordance with an analysis of data about specific tools presented in the PubMed bibliographic database. Results. Characteristics and application of specific questionnaires are considered: the questionnaire for assessment of psoriasis symptoms (PSI), the quality of life index in psoriasis (PSORIQoL), the questionnaire for evaluation of psoriasis impact (IPSO), the index of disability in psoriasis (PDI), the inventory for assessment of stress level in psoriasis (PLSI), the Salford index of psoriasis severity (SPI), the 12-item quality of life questionnaire in psoriasis (PQoL-12), the simplified scale for self-assessment of psoriasis severity (SaSPI). Discussion. Selection and use of optimal questionnaires are an important step towards determining the effectiveness of pharmacological interventions, developing working programs of individual counselling and patients’ education.

Алгоритм интеграции нейросетей в цифровую среду вуза для повышения качества образовательного процесса

The objective of this article is to develop an algorithm for integrating neural networks into the digital environment of higher education institutions to optimize the work of educators and enhance the quality of the educational process. The options for optimizing the teachers’ work are considered: 1) automated creation of curriculum and working programs; 2) generation of educational materials; 3) adaptation of educational materials to the needs of students; 4) written assignments; 5) monitoring the level of students understanding of the material and providing recommendations for improving student performance; 6) instant feedback from students; 7) completion of reporting documents. The criteria for improving the quality of education are described: flexibility and adaptability of the educational process to the needs of the labour market through the use of modern and high-tech digital tools in the learning process; students skill to work in a digital environment, which will be used by graduates as a professional advantage in the future; a creative approach by teachers to the learning process, making it more interesting, engaging, and motivating. The article analyzes the characteristics of neural networks in order to identify their functions, describe them, and utilize them in the work of higher education instructors for automating routine tasks and reducing the time spent on standard activities that do not require direct involvement from the educator. The scientific novelty lies in the description of the developed algorithm for integrating neural networks into the digital environment of higher education, where neural networks, demonstrating high technical potential, improve the work of university educators. The algorithm consists of nine main steps: 1. Defining the tasks for integrating neural networks into the university's digital environment to optimize and automate the methodological work of teachers; 2. Creating a regulatory framework to govern the rights and opportunities of students, teachers, and university staff; 3. Selecting a technically suitable neural network depending on the defined tasks; 4. Training the neural network; 5. Technical work on creating a user-friendly interface for the neural network; 6. Implementing neural networks directly into the teacher's work; 7. Monitoring the effectiveness of the neural network implementation; 8. Gathering feedback from students and staff as a result of the successful implementation of neural networks; 9. Developing and adding new features and capabilities to the neural network. The results of the study are as follows: 1) the functionalities of neural networks aimed at optimizing and providing methodological support for the work of higher education instructors have been identified and described; 2) the functionalities of neural networks for solving administrative tasks within the university have been identified and described; 3) based on the identified functionalities of neural networks, a step-by-step algorithm for their integration into the digital environment of the university has been outlined.

Adopting DEIA Initiatives: Impact on Training and Culture in Pediatric Academia

Objective: The Center for Biobehavioral Health (CBH) at Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH) is a research center with approximately 75 trainees, permanent staff, and faculty. Since 2020, CBH has integrated diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) programming with participation of employees across all training and career levels. The aim of this paper was to analyze DEIA survey data over three timepoints (2020, 2022, and 2023) to examine areas of growth, consistency, and decline. Methods: All CBH employees were emailed a survey in 2020, 2022, and 2023. Participation was anonymous and voluntary. Participation rates varied, with 46, 26, and 36 employees completing the survey in 2020, 2022, and 2023, respectively. The surveys included items examining views about CBH’s DEIA programming, personal DEIA workplace experiences, and CBH’s inclusion of different groups. Results: Over time, respondents increasingly: viewed CBH as a model for diversity and inclusion in the workplace (programming); were satisfied with their access to diversity and inclusion training opportunities at work (programming); felt more comfortable discussing race, discrimination, and social justice at work (experiences); and reported increases in the inclusion of people of different gender identities and sexual orientations (inclusion). Respondents viewed declines in CBH’s inclusion of people with disabilities (inclusion). All other survey responses remained consistent from 2020 to 2023. Conclusions: DEIA efforts by CBH employees may promote a more inclusive and welcoming work environment. Ensuring the longevity of DEIA initiatives, adapting efforts based on employee feedback, and addressing unmet needs should continue to be areas of focus for CBH and other training institutions.

Mitigation of Delay in Malaysian Armed Forces Construction Projects

As time passes, the conditions of the camp where most of the buildings, infrastructures and facilities in the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) become older and require reconstruction or refurbishment. In line with the global development of many personnel and military equipment, most of the existing buildings in military camps need to be improved. Construction delays in government projects have become a norm, and MAF is no exception to this. The delay issues are important to be investigated to minimize the delays. Perhaps some practical rectification needs to be suggested to mitigate delays and improve the performance of construction projects in MAF. The quantitative approach was carried out using a questionnaire survey to relate stakeholders involved in MAF construction projects that can help to achieve the objective of this research. From 100 respondents of MAF construction project stakeholders, 75 respondents replied with a reliability index of Cronbach Alpha of 0.96. The data was analyzed using SPSS version 24 with ordinal measurement. Pilot studies with 30 respondents were conducted to improve the questionnaire design. Next, Spearman’s Rank-Order Correlation was undertaken to list the delays in the appropriate rank and the mean of the element is 266.733. Therefore, it demonstrates the overall respondents approximately agree with the cause of delay listed for MAF construction projects. Out of 65 factors of delays top five were poor coordination, poor communication, poor work supervision, lack of work programming and finally difficulties in project financing with the mean of the delays ranging from 4.85 to 4.76. The study was able to rank the top five mitigation measures to overcome the delays with a mean score of 4.5 and above.

Un programme de travail partenarial pour l’épidémiologie des cancers : bilan 2014-2019

In France, the epidemiological surveillance of cancers is based on a multi-source surveillance system and a joint working program in partnership defined and performed by the French network of cancer registries (Francim), the Biostatistics-Bioinformatics Unit of Hospices Civils de Lyon, the French national public health agency and the French National Cancer Institute. This article presents the results of the 2014-2019 Cancer program. A questionnaire was completed for each of the 56 PTP projects, covering the implementation and financial resources committed. Among the 49 achieved projects were new estimates of incidence and survival produced at the national level for 70 types of cancer, with age-specific trends. Estimates of incidence were made at the district level for all French departments, even in districts not covered by a registry. The distribution of stage at diagnosis and social disparities in cancer incidence and survival were studied. The analysis of conditional net survival led to a better assessment of the risk of dying from cancer, which allowed improving access to insurance coverage and introducing a 'right to be forgotten' to people having a prior history of cancer. Contributing to the national and regional public policies with this innovative data, the outputs of the 2014-2019 Cancer program are successful. This makes a major contribution for the future of cancer surveillance, building on the ten-year French cancer control Strategy 2021-2030. The sustainability of registries, data protection, the crossing of databases and the implementation of a surveillance system at a geographical level lower than the district, remain challenging.

CARDIOVASCULAR PRE–REHABILITATION BEFORE CARDIAC SURGERY: OUR EXPERIENCE

Abstract An increasing number of elderly, fragile pts with multiple comorbidities access cardiac surgery, with greater risk of complications, prolonged hospital stay,and higher 30–day postoperative mortality compared to younger pts. Frailty & high rates of comorbidities are stronger predictors of negative post surgical outcome than advanced age alone. Pre–rehabilitation (pre–rehab) is safe & effective before surgery, especially in fragile, sarcopenic pts. It favors early extubation, reduces the length of stay in the ICU, and the incidence of operation–related infections. It also allows for early discharge and improves the quality of life. In cardiology, pre–rehab includes a series of preventive interventions aimed at reducing the incidence and severity of peri– & post–operative complications and mortality. These interventions help pts access surgery in the best possible mental and physical conditions. Of note, pts with severe but stable heart disease can safely undergo physical exercise. We present our pre–rehab protocol,which aims at improving muscular mass recovery through guided physical activity, nutritional support, specific respiratory muscle training, aerobic training and the improvement of psychological well–being,to face the intervention with less anxiety. Pts access our outpatients clinic for 6 weeks, 3–times–a–week, and during each access they undergo alternatively clinical evaluations, exercise sessions and meetings with the nutritionist and the psychologist. During the initial assessment, the physiotherapist sets the working program, based on a series of specific tests tailored particularly for the respiratory muscles. In fact, the correlation between sarcopenia and the reduction of lung function is extremely evident in frail pts. The pts’ nutritional status is evaluated in the first week and then every two weeks, with anthropometric measurements such as height, weight, waist and wrist circumferences, to determine skeletal size, estimation of muscle mass/strength of the upper limbs, and blood tests. Pts are interviewed about their eating habits, lifestyle, and recent weight history. A personalized diet is proposed to each pt,integrated with aminoacids & vitamins or with immunonutrition in case of deficiency statuses, weight loss ›10% of the usual weight, or frankly underweight pts. At the end of the 6–weeks, pts meet the referring cardioanaesthetist for re–evaluation. Up to now, we noticed that after pre–rehab the Euroscore improves allowing pts to undergo surgery with a lower surgical risk.

MASTER’S PROGRAM OF TRAINING OF SOCIAL WORKERS: REGULATORY AND LEGAL BASIS

Abstract. This article explores the normative requirements for developing a master’s program in social work at a higher education institution. The general principles of educational program design are determined by the normative documents of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and social protection legislation. In line with the demands of employers, the focus is on theoretical and practical training in social work, enabling further employment, updating the system of professional self-education and career growth. The program allows students to master modern technologies and effective methods of social work in the community, socio-psychological rehabilitation, youth work, social-pedagogical mentoring in education, social management, and also to master a set of interrelated tasks and activities for implementing a system of social services aimed at preventing difficult life circumstances, overcoming or minimizing their negative consequences for individuals / families in difficult life circumstances. Along with a general focus on academic preparation for applied, managerial, and research activities, and the ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of professional social work, in accordance with national higher education legislation and local university documents, the issue of forming an individual educational trajectory for masters is regulated. In particular, there is an opportunity to focus on studying a selective package from the list: «Socio-psychological rehabilitation», «Youth work», «Social management», «Social pedagogy». Each selective package is updated with modern requirements and needs for specialists capable of performing such professional functions at the national level and in communities.

Norfolk Initiative for Coastal and Rural Health Equalities (NICHE)

Norfolk Initiative for Coastal and Rural Health Equalities (NICHE) is an ‘Anchor Institute’, at the University of East Anglia, which aims to co-create a healthy place to live and work, underpinned by collaborative and innovative approach to research, education, and evaluation, maximising sustainable initiatives for Integrated Care System (ICS) workforce and system level transformation. National strategic direction for health and social care aims to develop an integrated whole systems approach to position people and communities and what matters to them at the heart of care providing services that are person and people centred, compassionate, safe, and effective using targeted resources (including the workforce) effectively across place-based systems (NHS 2016,2019a/b, 2020). There is an urgent need to draw on the strengths of the whole workforce and the full potential of our communities to contribute to people working together effectively to achieve a common purpose, as well as focussing on what matters to people and communities and how it is evaluated through co-production and leadership (Best et al; 2012; Stromgren et al; 2017). NICHE works across a geography of coastal, rural and isolated communities, seeking to engage and co-create embedded activity for those who live and work across our locality, coproducing outcomes relevant to local, national and international communities. Central to our shared governance approach is effectively engaging with patients, people and partners across health and social care. NICHE is a co-ordinated approach to embedded programmes of activity working in collaboration with system partners across the Norfolk and Waveney ICS aimed at delivering maximum, sustainable impact for workforce and system transformation focused around four core work streams of activity. Evaluation is integral to all our work, capturing what works, for whom and how through mixed and creative methodologies. NICHE draws upon key principles of Collaboration, Inclusion and Participation. Through working alongside and with communities, government, and industry partners, our programmes and funded research and evaluation activity offers improvements to the economic, health and social sustainability agendas, all of which form part of our Anchor Institute status. Our programmes are in their early phases of development, the following aspects are emerging: a)Caring for the workforce, through addressing their wellbeing is a central aspect of health and social care workforce sustainability b)Health and care system requires new and flexible roles, and the importance of 'live' effective supervision plays a significant role in retaining staff across the ICS. c)Creative arts engagement, heritage sites and inclusion of historical aspects of the locality context are important and often overlooked assets when working in rural, coastal and isolated communities. d)Coproduced, embedded packages as bespoke programmes of work, facilitated effectively to enhance and release talent and promote local expertise are highly effective strategies for cultural transformation across coastal and rural communities. e)Cultural transformation cannot be rushed as new language, partnerships and interactions are formed. When working with coastal, rural and isolated communities it is imperative to engage local partners, to ascertain cultural contextual wisdom to initiate and sustain change for good.

Content of the work program for the academic discipline «Sports facilities and equipment»

The purpose of the study is to determine the content of the work program for the academic discipline «Sports Facilities and Equipment» for applicants for the specialty 017 «Physical Culture and Sports» of the educational level «bachelor». Research material and methods. Research materials: in our study, we used 13 literary sources and Internet resources. Research methods: general scientific methods of theoretical knowledge, pedagogical observations. Main results of the study. The purpose of teaching the discipline «Sports Facilities and Equipment» is to familiarize applicants with the historical aspects of the development of the construction of sports facilities and the formation of special knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the construction, design and operation of sports equipment. The objectives of the discipline: 1) to study the regulatory data and requirements necessary for the construction of sports facilities; 2) to master the knowledge and practical skills necessary for the operation of sports equipment; 3) to master the practice of building sports equipment that does not require certain financial and material costs; 4) to know the basics of design, organization, construction, financing and operation of sports equipment. During lectures, students study the material presented in the content module of the discipline. Practical classes are aimed at consolidating the theoretical material presented during lectures. Conclusions. The working program of the educational course is a regulatory document of a higher education institution that determines the place of the academic discipline in the system of professional training of a specialist, the goal and objectives of its mastery, the role and significance of the course for providing applicants with the necessary knowledge and skills. The working program of the educational discipline is developed by a lecturer - a leading teacher of the department or a working group of the department created for this purpose, which teaches this discipline on the basis of the educational program and curriculum for training a specialist of a certain educational degree.

Внедрение спортивного программирования в элективный курс физической культуры и спорта

The article discusses modern sports that have emerged in the Russian Federation over the past few decades, one of which is sports programming. This type of sport is aimed at solving specific applied problems through the methods of analysis and synthesis of certain information for a more detailed process of developing and creating a new program or a specific part of it. First of all, this is a type of intellectual sports. The essence of which is to create a computer program in a programming language, in a limited time, which solves the tasks assigned to athletes in a certain segment of the IT industry. The authors conducted an experiment on the application of sports programming within the educational process. The purpose of the study is to implement a working program in physical culture and sports at the university, as well as an elective course in sports programming. Research methods and organization. The experiment involved first-year students specializing in digital technologies in economics and digital marketing (Samara State University of Economics), who studied elements of programming in their classes and attended a sports programming section. Methods of analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, mathematical statistics were used, and a pedagogical experiment was conducted. Research results and conclusions. The article reflects the obtained results and concludes that this is a promising area of sports training, the aspects of which can be integrated into the framework of university education for students.

Development of Experimental Skills of Schoolchildren Necessary for Participation in Scientific Volunteering in the Implementation of Project Activities

The purpose of the study is to develop the experimental skills of schoolchildren necessary for the implementation of volunteer activities in the research laboratory of systematics and ecology of invertebrates of Omsk State Pedagogical University (OmSPU) through the organization of project activities.Materials and methods. To achieve this goal, the author of the article analyzed the directions of scientific work in the research laboratory of systematics and ecology of invertebrates of OmSPU and the content of regulatory documents (the Federal State Educational Standard of basic general education and the Federal working program of basic general education in chemistry of the basic level). Based on the analysis, the experimental skills necessary for volunteering in the laboratory and the topics of the school course of chemistry of the 8th and 9th grade, in which the formation of these skills takes place, were identified. The entrance testing of the necessary knowledge and assessment of the development level of experimental skills among potential volunteers showed their insufficient formation and allowed students to participate in the work of the interdisciplinary project group of the Technopark of Universal Pedagogical Competencies of OmSPU named after V.M. Samosudov in order to develop the necessary knowledge and skills.Results. The results of the initial stage of the pedagogical experiment are presented, during which, with the help of testing, the availability of knowledge necessary for work in the laboratory was determined and the level of development of the necessary experimental skills was assessed according to the method of V. Vivyursky.The lack of knowledge and the lack of formation of the necessary experimental ones made it possible to proceed to the main stage of the pedagogical experiment, during which schoolchildren carried out project activities to study the composition and properties of water and soil in the residual lakes of the Zamaraika river. They presented the results of their project activities at the educational and research conference and were awarded with laureates’ diplomas.At the final stage of the pedagogical experiment, knowledge about the basics of conducting scientific research was retested and the level of necessary experimental skills was determined, as well as the statistical significance of the results was assessed using the Mann-Whitney U-test. The results showed an increase in the level of knowledge and skills of the students and allowed them to identify a tendency towards an increase in the value of the measured parameters and the opportunity for students to start participating in scientific volunteering at research laboratory of systematics and ecology of invertebrates of OmSPU.Conclusion. The main types of activities carried out in the scientific research laboratory of systematics and ecology of invertebrates of OmSPU, in which volunteers can participate, have been identified. Based on the analysis of regulatory documents, it has been established that students of 8-9 grades can be involved in work in the laboratory. The choice of activities that a volunteer can carry out is based on the Federal State Educational Standard of basic general education and the Federal working program of basic general education in chemistry (basic level). It has been established that the implementation of project activities by potential volunteers can contribute to the development of knowledge and the formation of experimental skills necessary in the course of scientific volunteering.

Achieving net zero carbon through construction procurement and contracting

This opinion considers how ‘net zero carbon’ can be achieved through construction procurement and contracting and in doing so (i) discusses what prevents construction from achieving net zero, (ii) considers what procurement and contracting systems can deliver net zero, (iii) explores how the UK government supports net zero procurement and contracting and finally (iv) describes how a net zero alliance (which is a collaborative way of working) operates in practice. The authors argue that (i) innovative approaches to achieving net zero carbon through solutions can be applied holistically to construction strategy, procurement, contracting and management, and also stress the point that (ii) new strategic relationships and processes play a crucial role in ensuring that clients, advisors and the construction industry can deliver net zero carbon targets in practice on a variety of different projects and programmes of work.

КРУЖКОВАЯ РАБОТА ПО ФОРМИРОВАНИЮ ЛИЧНОГО БРЕНДА У БУДУЩИХ УЧИТЕЛЕЙ НАЧАЛЬНЫХ КЛАССОВ

Today, market relations are actively entering the educational environment, imposing new requirements on teachers. Modern realities highlight the growing trend of parents choosing a specific teacher for their first-graders rather than the school itself. This trend speaks to the importance of the personality of the primary school teacher. Therefore, the formation of a teacher's personal brand has become a pressing issue, enabling them to be in demand, successful, and recognizable. To prepare future primary school teachers for modern challenges, it is essential to introduce club activities focused on personal brand development during their university studies. The authors conducted a survey among future primary school teachers attending a club focused on personal brand development to assess the effectiveness of these extracurricular activities. A total of 23 people took part in the survey. The authors also analyzed the working program of the «Personal brand: the path to success» club. During the study, the authors adhered to ethical principles that protect the rights and interests of all participants, ensuring objectivity and reliability of the results. The survey results and analysis of the working program demonstrated that club activities are an effective method for developing a personal brand among future primary school teachers.

The Strasser Brothers and the Ideological Conflict in the Nazi Movement in the Context of Political Events at the End of the Weimar Republic

The National Socialist movement, after the unsuccessful Beer Hall Putsch and set course for a legal rise to power, was in the process of searching for a successful ideological platform capable of providing mass social support. The “socialist” initiative of Gregor and Otto Strasser, who were part of the party’s leadership, allowed the party to increase the influence of the Nazis in the industrial regions of the north and west of Germany in the second half of the 1920s. As the Munich center drew closer to industrial and financial circles, the contradictions between the two wings of the party, located at opposite ends of the political spectrum, became increasingly apparent. This article focuses on the issue of the involvement of the NSDAP in the political vicissitudes of the last crisis years of the Weimar Republic, when the role of the figure of Gregor Strasser became no less important than during the second birth of the party. Given the impossibility of the negotiation process with the communists, the grey eminence of German politics, Kurt von Schleicher, was impressed by the opportunity to enlist the support of the workers by strengthening and then dominating the influence of the left among the Nazis. His policy of splitting/subordinating the NSDAP and creating a “cross-cutting front” based on trade unions and party cells was to become the basis of a policy of economic recovery through a large-scale program of public works and military construction.

OPTIMIZATION PROBLEM FOR NUMBER OF LOGIC GATES NEEDED TO IMPLEMENT MULTIPLE BOOLEAN FUNCTIONS USING DECODER

Abstract. Background. Computer circuits enable almost every piece of electronics to function. An opportunity for their optimization was found in one of the ways to implement a circuit, which involves a decoder. Decoders are basic circuit components whose behavior makes it easy to implement multiple Boolean functions. Functions are just rules by which informational signals are being processed in the circuit. To implement a function Logic gatEs (LEs) are used. LEs group multiple input signals and process them using binary logic operators like AND or NOR. Purpose. Develop a computer program that, based on provided functions, will find a solution associated with approximately minimal number of logic gates. Relevance. Prevalence of circuits increases the value of small optimizations, since any improvement gets multiplied by millions of circuits produced. Optimization at the logic level is being explored, which will retain value regardless of the physical properties of the circuit. Additionally, the theory of optimizing LE usage for circuits built on decoders is examined, which will alleviate future research. Methods. Development of the theory arose from an understanding that input signals can be grouped using LEs consciously. This way, LE outputs can be used in more than one function, which results in reduction of total number of LEs. It becomes evident that the problem can be restated in terms of sets. Similarity to known NP-hard problems emerges, which prompts usage of existing solution approaches. Among them, the greedy algorithm is chosen for its simplicity in program implementation. The connection between the problem and digital circuitry is weakened by the introduction of special evaluation functions that work with sets. So, the problem is reduced to several mathematical rules, which then are used as the appropriate parts of the greedy algorithm. Development of knowledge necessary to create the target program is thus concluded. Results. The target program is successfully implemented and can be seen in full at https://github.com/Gleb-05/MakeFuncForDC. A test is conducted on 1000 sets of four pseudorandom eight-term functions. It is estimated that the implementations proposed by the program require on average 0.75 of the initial number of LEs. The average running time is estimated at 2 milliseconds. In contrast, brute-force search for the same problem is theorized to run for years. Conclusions. A working program that finds an almost optimal solution is successfully created and tested. Its performance makes it potentially useful in the industrial scale of circuit manufacturing. Since the program essentially offers workload management, its possible applications go beyond the domain of digital electronics. Additionally, the theory of optimizing the use of LEs is presented for the first time. It can be used as the basis for future research on the implementation of multiple Boolean functions using decoder.

Defining special educational conditions for teaching natural science to schoolchildren with autism spectrum disorders at the basic general education level

Introduction. The article presents the reasoning for the need to create special educational conditions for students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in the process of learning of natural science, particularly physics, in primary school. Based on an analysis of scientific publications, it examines the psychosocial characteristics and special educational needs of this category of students at the basic general education level. It sets the special conditions for conducting lessons and practical work in physics, as well as the conditions for assessment procedures in the implementation of the Federal Working Program (FWP) in basic general education "Physics" for students with ASD.Materials and Methods. The study is based on a systematic activity-based approach that underpins the education of children with disabilities, particularly students with ASD. The research materials include scientific publications reflecting the psychosocial development features and special educational needs of children with ASD in primary school. The research method involved the analyses of scientific publications and regulatory documents, particularly the adapted educational program for this category of students. The results of the analysis of scientific publications were summarized and structured in several areas, allowing for the formalization and sequential presentation of special educational conditions for studying natural science by students with ASD at the basic general education level.Results. Based on the analysis of the psychosocial development features and special educational needs of students with ASD at the basic general education level, special conditions for conducting lessons and practical work with this category of students in primary school physics classes have been identified and set. The description of special educational conditions is structured into the following sections: spatial-temporal conditions, material and technical conditions, educational and didactic conditions, psychological-pedagogical conditions, and staffing conditions. Special conditions for conducting assessment procedures in the implementation of the Federal Working Program (FWP) in basic general education "Physics" for students with ASD are described in the same systematic manner.Discussion and Conclusions. The article defends the necessity of creating special educational conditions when studying natural science, particularly physics, in primary school for students with ASD, even if they possess specific giftedness in the field of natural sciences. The special educational conditions are described and systematized in several sections, which will facilitate their implementation in the practical activities of physics teachers. The article discusses the prospects of research related to the testing of the identified set of special educational conditions and the expert evaluation from practitioners—physics teachers working in inclusive primary school settings.

Social work students’ perception towards online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic

As a result of the pandemic, Universities in Albania faced this challenge for the first time during the COVID-19 pandemic. This transition created difficulties for both teachers and students. By studying students’ perceptions towards online learning, it is possible to identify their specific challenges and needs. It can provide a valuable perspective for improving the online learning experience in the future. The objective of this study is to examine the perceptions of social work students regarding the effectiveness and interaction experiences associated with their online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic at the University of Shkodra “Luigj Gurakuqi”, Albania, compared to classroom learning. This is descriptive research and includes quantitative and qualitative data. A structural questionnaire was distributed and followed by descriptive and thematic analysis. The sample included 84 students in a bachelor's program in social work. Students favored online courses for improving technical skills, dedicating more time to homework, and preferring email for queries. However, social interaction did not rise compared to classrooms. Students suggests blended learning for inclusivity, especially for those with financial, health, or job constraints. Ultimately, students preferred classroom learning for future teaching

On the relevance of studying foreign-language surnames in the process of teaching a foreign language for specific purposes in an agrarian university

The purpose of this article is to offer practical exercises and tasks based on the etymological study of surnames in English and German. The article considers the relevance of studying surnames as anthroponyms in teaching a professional foreign language (English, German for specific purposes: ESP, GSP) in the training of agrarian university students. At working programs of agrarian universities, the study of proper names is completely absent, but they occupy an essential stratum in the structure of the vocabulary of any language, reflecting important aspects of its history and culture. The forming process of onomastics as a specific branch of linguistics, the extralinguistic nature of surnames determines the relevance of studying this type of anthroponyms. This article considers methodology of using surnames when learning a foreign language in professional discourse, to present effective methodological techniques that contribute to the forming process of professional competencies. The following methods of scientific analysis and generalizationhave been usedwhile preparing this article: descriptive, methods of etymological analysis, individual elements of comparative and typological analysis. Studying the origin and lexical features of surnames allows a teacher to apply integrative approach, getting away from standard techniques, filling training sessions with fresh and relevant information. This article examines surnames based on a professional activity or craft, presented in English and German.

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROCESS OF SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT OF CONSTRUCTION AND GEOTECHNICAL MONITORING SYSTEM DURING CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF STRUCTURES

A wide range of issues of organisation and provision of scientific and technical support of construction (STSC) and its main component – geotechnical monitoring (GM) carrying out, in particular, quality control of the enclosing walls of excavations, bases, foundations, above-ground structures of erected, operated, structures, adjacent territories and surrounding existing buildings. The basics of modern methods of observations (measurements), technical means (sensors, devices, etc.) used for this purpose are described, the principles of complex, including automated, monitoring based on a numerical model of the object are considered, providing construction safety based on the results of measurements of controlled parameters in the volume required for the development of the project chapter on GM. The data on purposes, composition, technical equipment, system (general) and working programmes of geotechnical monitoring on the basis of researches and accumulated experience of its carrying out for the condition of high-rise and unique objects are given.

NEURAL NETWORK MACHINE TRANSLATION IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING IN TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY

Background. Mass usage of neural-network machine translation services by students of technical universities when studying foreign languages leads to the necessary changes in the working programme content and teaching instruments. Such a perspective causes ambiguous response among educators, which makes this problem relevant under the conditions of digital transformation of higher education. Purpose. The authors aim to provide the results of a theoretical and empirical study of how the participants of the foreign language teaching and learning process respond to the mass implementation of neural network machine translators. Materials and methods. Materials for this article are obtained by the method of questionnaire survey, which is conducted among instructors and students of Novosibirsk technical universities in 2024. For a deeper understanding concerning the attitude of respondents to the implementation of neural network machine translation apps in the teaching and learning process, retrospective conversations with students and semi-formalised interviews with instructors of Foreign Language Departments are conducted. Results. The findings suggest a predominantly positive attitude of the instructors and students of Novosibirsk technical universities to the implementation of neural network machine translation services in teaching and learning foreign languages. Although there is a tendency to use such services to translate large pieces of their own texts, many students are focused on analysing the quality and editing their translates. The instructors, in their turn, note that neural network machine translators do not solve the problem of linguistic difficulties, especially when translating industry-specific texts. However, they find no reason to ban their students from using neural network machine translation services in classroom and extracurricular activities. Moreover, the instructors emphasise that the use of these instruments should be taught on purpose. Taking into account the respondents’ opinions, the authors offer to add a separate module devoted to the proper use of neural network machine translation services to the working programmes, which will contribute to the development of students’ critical thinking when solving academic, professional and research tasks.
