At the event, researchers from Russia and Vietnam examined the processes of global transformation in the digital era, provided an analysis of how innovations and technologies in this area are changing global trends and what impact they have on Russia and Vietnam, including their modern relations and prospects for their development.

Reframing Technostress for Organizational Resilience: The Mediating Role of Techno-Eustress in the Performance of Accounting and Financial Reporting Professionals

This study examines how employees perceive technology-based demands during the digital transformation process and how these perceptions affect job performance. The research utilized data obtained from 388 experts in the accounting and financial reporting profession, a knowledge-intensive field that heavily employs new technologies (e.g., ERP systems, digital audit tools). The data collected through a convenience sampling method was analyzed using SPSS 27 and SmartPLS 4 software. The findings reveal that the direct effect of technostress on job performance is not significant; however, this stress indirectly contributes to performance through techno-eustress. In this study, techno-eustress refers to the cognitive appraisal of technology-related demands as development-enhancing challenges rather than threats. This concept is theoretically grounded in the broader eustress framework, which views stressors as potentially motivating and growth-promoting when positively interpreted. The model is based on Cognitive Evaluation Theory, the Job Demands–Resources Model, and Self-Determination Theory. This study demonstrates that digital transformation can promote not only operational improvements but also organizational resilience by enhancing employees’ psychological resources and adaptive capacities. By highlighting the mediating role of techno-eustress, this research offers a nuanced perspective on how human-centered cognitive mechanisms can strategically support performance and sustainability in the face of technological disruption—an increasingly relevant area for organizations striving to thrive amid uncertainty.

Digital transformation, ESG performance and enterprise innovation

Humanity has transitioned from the industrial era to the era of the digital intelligence economy. In this context, the Chinese government has emphasized the need to “accelerate the development of the digital intelligence economy and promote its deep integration with the real economy.” For enterprises, this integration fundamentally entails a process of digital intelligence transformation. Simultaneously, ESG performance plays a critical role in enabling this enterprise transformation. Together, digital intelligence transformation and ESG form a synergistic relationship, empowering enterprises to secure a favorable position in innovation-driven competition. Based on a sample of A-share listed companies spanning from 2004 to 2023, this paper empirically investigates the impact of digital transformation and ESG performance on corporate innovation performance. The findings reveal an inverted U-shaped relationship between enterprise digitalization and innovation performance, while ESG performance positively influences innovation performance. Furthermore, digital transformation and ESG performance positively reinforce each other, thereby collectively enhancing enterprise innovation performance.

Constructing an indicator system for the digital transformation performance of museums

PurposeDigital transformation is increasingly significant in modern museums. While the process of museum digital transformation cannot yet be evaluated based on a unified standard. This study establishes and applies a measurement system to assess digitisation performance in museums.Design/methodology/approachA measurement system was established using content analysis of policy texts. The Delphi survey was conducted with experts, and the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) was used to determine indicator weights. Finally, an empirical study was performed, and the digital transformation performance was ranked using the technique for order of preference by similarity to an ideal solution (TOPSIS).FindingsChinese museums performed well in digital management, infrastructure, services and communication. However, technology, resources, external operations, and products require improvement. Museums demonstrated a stronger focus on internal digital transformation, highlighting opportunities for advancement in external operations.Research limitations/implicationsThis study applied a digital transformation evaluation system to Chinese museums using a limited sample size. To test the generalisability of the system, future applications are planned in museums in other countries and regions and in cultural sectors such as libraries and cultural tourism enterprises.Practical implicationsThe evaluation system was tested on 13 Chinese museums. The study ranked their transformation performances and analysed key challenges. Museum professionals could identify and overcome these limitations. Studies should extend the system to other cultural heritage sectors.Originality/valueThis study establishes an evaluation system for the digital transformation of museums from a policy perspective, a methodology currently lacking in the literature.

RESEARCH ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY IN BANKING ACTIVITIES IN VIETNAM TOWARDS SUSTAINABILITY

In Vietnam, the digital banking model has undergone rapid development in recent years. This paper evaluates the current state of digital banking development in Vietnam from several aspects: (i) the legal framework for digital banking development; (ii) market participants in the digital banking sector; (iii) methods of digital banking development; and (iv) the quality of digital banking services, thereby identifying the current level of digital banking development in Vietnam. According to the research team's assessment, digital banking in Vietnam is currently in the formative stage, with significant potential for growth. The application of digital technology in banking operations in Vietnam has had a positive impact on operational models, driving a strong transformation in internal business systems and in the provision of advanced products and services to customers. The application of digital technology in banking is considered the next phase after digitalization in the digital transformation process, serving as an important support for the digital banking strategy of the banking industry. This study aims to discuss digital technologies applied in banking operations, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, Cloud Computing, Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), Blockchain, Biometrics, and the products and services created by financial technology companies (Fintech). The application of Big Data in banking is particularly significant for building and managing data resources in the finance and banking sector. Currently, an increasing number of banks are adopting Big Data in their operations to keep pace with the rapid development of modern society, where customers seek simplified, fast, and convenient procedures. Big Data is a powerful tool that can help banks achieve this goal. However, the implementation of Big Data in banks still faces certain challenges.

Driving Factors of the Digital economy Under the Moderating Impact of Social Factors: Empirical Evidence from Vietnam

In the context of the intense global wave of digitalization, with data and technology playing a leading role, the digital economy has become a key factor in the development of countries. The digital transformation process is accelerating to build a robust digital economy with global competitiveness in emerging markets like Vietnam. This research aims to identify the factors driving the digital economy in Vietnam. Using 355 survey samples and quantitative analysis methods such as reliability testing, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and MMR hierarchical regression analysis, combined with regulatory variable testing on the Macro Process. The results reveal that digital infrastructure, R&D and innovation, enterprise capacity, international economic integration, government policies, the market, and human capital have a direct impact on driving the digital economy in Vietnam. Furthermore, the findings demonstrate that social factors not only positively moderates the relationships between these factors and the digital economy but also directly impacts it. Based on these results, several implications are suggested to optimize existing potentials and further promote the development of the digital economy in Vietnam.

Do digitalization policies promote enterprise innovation? The logic of cost heterogeneity of enterprises

Strengthening government guidance and policy support is an important path to promote digital transformation in various countries and enhance their core competitiveness in the digital era. This paper explores the differentiated feedback of enterprises with varying transformation costs in developing countries, using China as an example, towards government digital transformation policies. It finds that enterprises with low digital transformation costs provide positive feedback to government policies, while those with high costs exhibit limited and strategic feedback, resulting in differences in policy performance—specifically, innovation output. The analysis of mechanism indicates that lowering the costs of connectivity, integration, and financing for digital transformation will improve enterprises’ feedback on government-led policies and accelerate their own digital transformation processes. The capability to connect to the outside world, adapt to change, and mitigate financing constraints constructed by enterprises in the process of cost reduction will contribute to the development of their innovation activities, resulting in better innovation performance. The above logic is further verified empirically based on the quasi-experiment of Internet Plus promoted by the State Council of China in 2015. Therefore, to enhance the effectiveness of digital policies in developing countries, enterprises need to improve their dynamic adaptability and effectively reduce the costs of digital transformation. More importantly, the governments of developing countries should learn from developed countries in formulating digital transformation strategies and policies. They should create digital roadmaps suitable for their national development, forming targeted support policies for various types of enterprises, thereby providing real assistance for enterprises to break through and move forward.

Practices and actions stimulating responsible digitalisation in Värmland

ABSTRACT Traditional industry regions like Värmland, Sweden are under increasing pressure to digitalise, a transition that raises broader social and governance challenges for regional actors. RRI has been promoted at EU level as a framework to guide such transformations, however there is limited understanding of how RRI principles are implemented in practice. The case of digitalisation transformation process of Värmland provided an opportunity to further explore how RRI is implemented in practice. This article explores how RRI was operationalised through the DigiTeRRI project, and how it aided in shaping the regional digitalisation transformation policy and collaborative practices. A key finding is that by involving regional actors early in the process and fostering a sense of ownership contributed to the implementation of RRI measures. This study contributes to both RRI scholarship and regional policy practice by offering insights into the situated application of RRI in territorial digital transformation processes.

Assessing readiness and breaking barriers to tourism digitalization: a case study of Kazakhstan

This study aims to highlight the challenges and most pressing issues in the digitization of the tourism industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The primary goal of study is to examine the primary challenges encountered throughout the process of digital transformation in sector and determine strategies to effectively address them. The study utilizes comparative analysis and expert assessment to uncover the limited digitization of tourism firms in comparison to more advanced nations, the absence of high-quality digital infrastructure in rural areas, and insufficient degree of digital literacy among industry participants. The authors paid special attention to considering the existing state of tourism digital technologies, revealing barriers to their implementation and assessing impact on the tourism development. Several central aspects have been identified: infrastructure-type problems, lack of qualified specialists, problems of cybersecurity and protection of information various types, need to adapt the country’s legislative framework to new digitalization priorities. The authors’ analysis highlights the importance of developing a cohesive national digital strategy and securing financial resources to effectively use digital technology in tourism. The results of the study confirm the problem significance and the authors propose suggestions to develop infrastructure, increase level of digital literacy and stimulate investment.

The Role of Data-Driven Digital Transformation of SMEs: Practices and Challenges — A Case Study of Guangxi Nanning Tiange Asset Management Co., Ltd

This study takes Guangxi Nanning Tiange Asset Management Co., Ltd., in Guangxi as a case to deeply explore the specific practices, challenges, and coping strategies of SMEs in the process of digital transformation. Through a detailed case analysis, it reveals the key issues and solutions in the digital transformation process of SMEs, providing references and insights for other SMEs. The research finds that SMEs need to overcome challenges in multiple aspects such as funding constraints, technical difficulties, employee resistance, data security, and organizational culture during digital transformation. With scientific and rational strategies and solutions, enterprises can significantly improve operational efficiency, market competitiveness, and customer satisfaction, thereby achieving sustainable development in the digital age.

Digital Transformation Process of the Presidency of Religious Affairs: Is the Presence of Digital Leaders a Determinant on Employee Job Performance?

The aim of the research is to determine the effect of digital leadership on job performance. In this context, job performance is discussed together with its sub-dimensions. The research was carried out with the participation of personnel responsible for providing services within the Presidency of Religious Affairs. In this context, the quantitative research method was used and data was obtained with the help of scale forms. "Digital Leadership Scale" was used to determine the Digital Leadership orientations of the employees and "Job Performance Scale" was used to reveal their job performance. The findings obtained also reveal the effect of digital leadership on job performance within the scope of both task and contextual performance. The research findings show that digital leadership has a significant and positive effect on both job performance and its sub-dimensions (task-contextual performance). In other words, it is noteworthy that digital leadership is decisive on the job performance of employees within the Presidency of Religious Affairs. On the other hand, this significant and positive relationship between digital leadership and job performance essentially points to the positive reflections of the positive attitude of the executive leaders within the Presidency of Religious Affairs towards digitalization and digital technologies on their employees and their job performance. In the digital age we live in, the need for agile digital leaders who are visionary, aware of new technologies, prone to digitalization, and who support, guide, motivate and lead their employees in the process of adopting digital technologies is increasing day by day. In this context, it is essential to consider, evaluate and adopt the subject as a part or extension of organizational culture. Moreover, it is thought that the current research will contribute both to researchers in theory and to practitioners in practice. It is believed that it can be a horizon-expanding and inspirational source for research in new and different areas.

Methods for developing expert systems in corporate information systems: enhancing enterprise economic stability

This study aims to provide an in-depth analysis of the impact of expert systems integrated into corporate information systems on the economic stability of enterprises. In the modern business environment, the role of expert systems is significantly increasing, as they serve as valuable tools for strategic decision-making, risk management, and improving operational efficiency. This article explores the use of modern methods such as artificial neural networks, fuzzy logic, swarm intelligence, and Bayesian networks, with each method’s effectiveness and limitations evaluated through comparative analysis. The research employed machine learning tools developed in modern programming languages like Python and R, with libraries such as scikit-learn and TensorFlow showing notable results. In addition, the efficiency of the systems was assessed using specific metrics based on expert opinions and real enterprise data. The authors emphasize that the implementation of expert systems is accessible not only to large enterprises but also to small and medium-sized businesses. This study can be seen as a contribution to regional and international scientific work exploring the synergy between CIS and ES. The findings show that expert systems have a significantly positive impact on companies' financial indicators, including a 20% increase in current liquidity, a 23% rise in net profit, a 12% reduction in expenses, and a 25% decrease in debt load. Furthermore, the article discusses the specific features and opportunities of implementing expert systems in the context of Kazakhstan, offering practical recommendations for accelerating the digital transformation process. The study also highlights the importance of building a data-driven management culture within the digital ecosystem.

Digital transformation process of SME entrepreneurs: the perspective of century-old businesses

ABSTRACT This study explores digital transformation among century-old SMEs (established 1833–1921) in the food and beverage industry, focusing on their technological awareness and usage behaviors. Using a mixed method, convergent parallel design, it identifies four digital maturity stages: Technology Avoidant, Passive Acceptance, Technology Adaptation, and Researcher/Pioneer. These stages reveal diverse levels of digital integration influenced by both intrinsic motivations and external pressures. Unlike generic SME models, the framework highlights tradition driven resistance, nonlinear adoption paths, and a nuanced balance of internal and external drivers traits unique to historic SMEs navigating digital change.

The Impact of Digital Transformation on Innovativeness in Airline Companies: The Role of Agility and Openness to Change

This study aims to analyze the mediating role of organizational agility and the moderating role of openness to change by examining the impact of digital transformation on organizational innovativeness in airline companies. The airline industry, characterized by its dynamic nature and intense competitive conditions, necessitates continuous change and innovation. The dynamic nature of the airline industry due to intense competition, high safety standards and ever-changing technological requirements necessitates the rapid adaptation of digital transformation. In this context, understanding how digital transformation influences the innovative capacities of businesses, as well as the significance of organizational factors such as agility and openness to change in these processes, holds substantial theoretical and practical value. This research aims not only to generate theoretical insights but also to provide practitioners in the airline industry with recommendations for optimizing digital transformation processes, enhancing innovation capacities, and achieving competitive advantages. In line with the data collected from 421 airline employees through a questionnaire, it was determined that organizational agility plays a full mediating role in the relationship between digital transformation and innovation and openness to change strengthens this process. Research findings show that agile organizations benefit more from digital transformation, and firms open to change have higher innovation capacities. Accordingly, airline companies recommend strategies to increase organizational agility, encourage employees' openness to change and expand digital skills training to manage digital transformation processes effectively. Furthermore, it is emphasized that digitalization should be considered a strategic transformation in terms of operational efficiency and in the context of corporate governance, decision-making processes and customer experience.

Development and Evaluation of an Electronic Logbook System for Light Aircraft Operations

This paper presents the development and implementation of an electronic logbook system tailored for light category aircraft. The aim of the project was to replace traditional paper-based recordkeeping with a digital solution that enhances operational efficiency, safety and compliance with aviation documentation requirements. The proposed system allows pilots and aircraft operators to manage flight hours, maintenance tasks, fuel consumption and document validity in a unified, web-based platform. Built using accessible web technologies (HTML, PHP, MySQL), the system offers a cost-effective and user-friendly alternative suitable for flying schools and small aircraft owners. The article discusses the benefits, technical structure, and limitations of the solution, supported by user testing. The results confirm that even small-scale operators can effectively adopt digital tools that align with modern aviation standards and support the ongoing process of digital transformation in general aviation.

Strategic reflections on digital transformation, scientific literacy, and labor market development in the Eurasian Economic Union: Insights from the case of Kazakhstan

This article examines the digital transformation processes in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), focus­ing on Kazakhstan to explore the intersection of technological development, scientific literacy, and labor market evolution. Drawing on official documents, regional initiatives, and scholarly literature, the study analyzes national and supranational strategies that foster digital ecosystems, respond to workforce ad­aptation challenges, and promote citizen science and technology competencies. The analysis identifies key initiatives adopted by the EEU, including cross-border employment platforms, digital customs sys­tems, and national education and cybersecurity strategies. It also evaluates these initiatives’ implications from socio-educational and economic perspectives. Particular attention is given to scientific and digital literacy, which is defined as the ability to critically engage with technological environments and scien­tific information in daily and professional life. The study argues that Kazakhstan’s digital agenda should prioritize inclusive access to infrastructure, reform the educational system toward competency-based learning, align workforce reskilling with scientific and digital competencies, and strengthen research and innovation ecosystems. In this context, the article formulates strategic guidelines for Kazakhstan and the EEU to ensure equitable, participatory, and scientifically grounded digital transformation processes. Ultimately, the study contributes to the broader debate on how emerging economies can align digital development with inclusive education and labor strategies, thereby reinforcing the role of scientific lit­eracy as a structural component of sustainable digitalization.

Digitization, Automation Problems and Solutions in Small Business on the Example of Azerbaijan

Digital transformation processes are having a significant impact on the business sector of Azerbaijan, creating new opportunities for the development of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), in particular. Automation is often associated with innovation, efficiency, and competitiveness, which are essential elements for the growth of SMEs in a developing economy. The study aimed to examine the technological, market, and cultural factors influencing the tendencies of SMEs to switch to automated management. The analysis of the tendencies of SMEs to switch to automated management in Azerbaijan is relevant due to its potential to contribute to economic development, reveal cross-cultural dynamics, and increase business adaptability. The article also examines the main problems of small and medium-sized businesses in the implementation of automation systems, such as cybersecurity, technical integration, and bureaucratic obstacles. In addition, the article explores how automation helps employees focus on more valuable activities, simplifying their work processes. The importance of increasing investments in training programs, strengthening collaboration with automation vendors, and developing risk management strategies to enhance the potential of SMEs in the field of digitalization was highlighted. The main purpose of the study is to study and gain a deep understanding of the factors influencing the transition of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) to automated management systems in Azerbaijan. This study, which analyzes the nuances of technology adoption, cultural influences, political factors, and market competitiveness, aims to provide valuable suggestions and recommendations to policymakers, businesses, and stakeholders investing in the development and sustainability of small and medium-sized businesses.

<b>The Impact </b><b>o</b><b>f Technology Leadership </b><b>o</b><b>n Educational Institutions’ Digital Transformation</b>

With more emphasis on digital integration in schools, various organizations feel strained as they try to make major changes. To achieve successful digital adoption, technology leadership leaders should ensure that the vision, resources and culture are equally matched with new technological progress. Still, it is not well understood how such leadership impacts the digital transformation process. This study seeks to find out how leaders in technology can help drive the digitization of schools and colleges. It examines the effects of approach to leadership, planning and skills on whether a school establishes and adopts digital technologies. Quantitative data from surveys of staff is joined with qualitative findings from case studies in selected schools and universities. Leadership methods, policies and use of technology are looked at by applying statistics and coding interviews. The findings probably indicate that organizations with transformational and participative leadership have a high level of digital maturity. Leaders who drive change with technology usually see stronger use of the infrastructure, more staff using digital tools and improved collaboration between tech and teaching strategies. Digital transformation is strongly supported by technology leadership, especially when leaders are able to look to the future and build a digital culture. The results suggest that such sectors require leadership education that includes being digitally fluent as well as managing change. What we learn from these insights helps to create new policies and practical guidelines for digital integration.

НЕОБХОДИМОСТЬ РАЗРАБОТКИ МЕХАНИЗМА ФОРМИРОВАНИЯ ЦИФРОВОЙ СРЕДЫ АГРОБИЗНЕСА

The development of small and medium-sized businesses in the agricultural sector, increasing their contribution to solving food security problems and improving living standards in rural areas are given much attention both at the state and regional levels. One of the challenges of the modern economy is digital transformation, and small and medium-sized businesses must fully integrate into these processes. In addition, awareness of the importance of these transformations requires building a mechanism for the formation of a digital environment for small and medium-sized businesses, taking into account industry affiliation, which is necessary for the implementation of industry projects initiated today in Russia. The study was based on data from the Federal State Statistics Service, federal laws and programs, scientific works by domestic authors on the development of small and medium-sized businesses and the digital transformation of the economy. The study of problem areas in the formation of a digital environment for small and medium-sized agribusiness was carried out using the methods of analysis, synthesis and deduction. The paper presents the main results of the study, in particular, it outlines the characteristic features inherent in farms, reflects the contribution of small and medium-sized agribusinesses to increasing the volume of agricultural production, indicates some omissions in the current regulatory legal acts governing the activities of small and medium-sized businesses in Russia in terms of regulating digital transformation processes. Despite the initiatives implemented by the government, the analysis of the current situation made it possible to identify a number of factors hindering the formation of a digital environment for agribusiness. The identified trends indicate the need for a detailed elaboration of a mechanism that allows small and medium-sized businesses to fully integrate into digital transformation processes.

Exploring the Impact of ISO/IEC 42001:2023 AI Management Standard on Organizational Practices

This paper examines the technical, operational, and strategic impacts of implementing the ISO/IEC 42001:2023 Artificial Intelligence (AI) Management System standard, which is a critical factor for companies adapting to the transformative effects of AI technologies in the business world. Aimed at ensuring the ethical and reliable governance of AI systems, this standard assists organizations in developing transparent, unbiased, fair and sustainable AI solutions. The framework provided by ISO/IEC 42001:2023 is also discussed in terms of its benefits in critical areas such as data security, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and competitive advantage. In this context, it is emphasized that companies can adopt AI applications not only as a technical innovation but also as a strategic management element. The integration processes between ISO/IEC 42001:2023 AI Management System and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Information Security Management System are presented, highlighting how these two standards complement each other. An analysis is provided on how principles of information security, risk management, and transparency can be effectively implemented within AI systems. In conclusion, the adoption of the ISO/IEC 42001:2023 AI management system enables companies to manage AI applications within a secure and ethical framework while achieving a sustainable competitive advantage in their digital transformation processes.
