The purpose of this study was to analyze language errors in the morphological category in captions and comments in one of the @official.kpk posts. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach to describe the existence of errors or mistakes in writing captions and comments according to the procedures for analyzing language errors. The data source in this study is the @official.kpk Instagram post. on November 6, 2024. The data collection technique used was the purposive sampling technique to determine the data sample. Other data collection techniques used in this study were literature studies, documentation, and discourse analysis. The object data used was one post in the form of captions and comments. Data processing was carried out by collecting words that contained errors or mistakes, especially in the morphological category such as affixation or reduplication, then grouped. After grouping the data sources, the researcher conducted an analysis by analyzing using an analysis table and in accordance with applicable procedures. In the results and discussion section, it can be concluded that from one post that the researcher took, there were many errors and mistakes in the comments column, totaling 18 errors and mistakes.

Supervision of the Regional Inspectorate of North Sulawesi Province on the Implementation of City District Government Affairs

This study aims to analyze and describe the implementation of the Regional Government Affairs Supervision Program. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that supervision of the implementation of local government affairs in the Annual Supervision Work Program (PKPT) has not been running well until now. This can be explained through the following three indicators: 1. The Role of Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) In the context of supervision carried out by the Inspectorate of North Sulawesi Province on the implementation of City Government affairs, the role of APIP has not been fully realized in the form of examination. In other words, the supervisory function has not been carried out in accordance with the applicable standard operating procedures (SOP), so that the supervisory process is not running well. 2. The Implementation of the Supervision Program, the implementation of the Supervision Program has not been running effectively until now, one of which is due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This pandemic has resulted in a refocusing of budgets and face-toface meetings, so that inspection priorities are more focused on the scope of the provincial government and have not reached the government at the district / city level. 3. Program Effectiveness: The implementation of the Annual Supervision Work Program (PKPT) has not been fully effective. Most of the programs in the PKPT have not been implemented and realized properly. There are still various inhibiting factors that result in the non-optimality of the implementation of this program, one of which is the limitations in supervising the implementation of government affairs at the district/city level.

Optimization Method for Improving Efficiency of Thermal Field Reconstruction in Concrete Dam

In an actual concrete dam construction, the efficiency of thermal field reconstruction directly affects the timeliness of temperature control measures. Therefore, using lightweight methods to obtain real-time, accurate thermal fields is crucial for concrete temperature control. To balance both accuracy and efficiency, this study proposes an optimization method for thermal field reconstruction in concrete dams. The method consists of three components: evaluating interpolation algorithms, optimizing the number of monitoring points, and analyzing their positions. Specifically, a distributed temperature sensing system is employed for concrete monitoring, with a “Z-shaped” optical fiber layout. Three interpolation algorithms—Kriging, Natural Neighbor, and Inverse Distance Weighting—are quantitatively evaluated, with Kriging showing the highest accuracy. Sensitivity analysis, combined with the control variable method, is used to assess the impact of the monitoring point number and position. Lightweight application procedures are then proposed, using reconstructed thermal field results to guide strategy formulation and parameter adjustment for the intelligent cooling control system. A case study demonstrates that this method ensures the effectiveness and timeliness of concrete temperature control measures. The proposed approach enables real-time updates of concrete temperature control measures in sync with the progress of the pouring process, providing a valuable reference for similar projects.

Pesticide Residues in Cabbage and Nile Tilapia and Implications on Human Health and Ecosystems: A Case of Fogera District in Ethiopia.

Pesticides have posed health risks to consumers and the ecosystems in different parts of the world, including Ethiopia, and researchers recommend continual assessments of pesticide residues in food items and ecosystems to know the level of risks. This study aimed to quantify the pesticide residues in samples of cabbage and fish and their risks to humans and the ecosystems. The cabbage samples were collected from April to May 2023 from 3 market centers, and the fish samples were collected in June 2023 from two fish ponds of Fogera District of Ethiopia using appropriate sampling procedures, extracted using the modified QuEChERS methods, and analyzed using a triple quadrupole GC/MS technique to quantify the pesticide residues and level the risks to humans and the ecosystems. The findings of the present study confirmed that all the samples of cabbage and fish were contaminated with pesticide residues. More than 44% and 37% of pesticide residues detected in both cabbage and fish samples were organochlorine and organophosphate pesticides, respectively. Furthermore, 92.86% of the pesticide residues and 96.43% of the maximum pesticide residues in cabbage exceeded the MRL and the TQ set by the Codex Alimentarius Commission. The sum total hazard indices of the pesticide residues in the cabbage (22.320) and fish (43.071) were much higher than the threshold value. Though Fogera District is a potential area for fish production in ponds, agricultural pesticides are a threat to the sector. Establishing an efficient system of monitoring for the pesticide supply chain and application procedures, choosing the appropriate pesticide types, timing in spraying, and establishing pesticide-free buffer zones are crucial steps in mitigating the negative effects of pesticides in the area.

A Bibliometric Analysis of Articles on Pit and Fissure Sealants During 2012 - 2023

Background: Pit and fissure sealants have become an essential preventive approach for occlusal caries, mainly in the young population. In the last decade, tremendous research has been done in sealant materials, effectiveness, application procedures, and clinical results; therefore, the trends, collaboration networks, and influential contributions need to be summarized in a structured manner. To conduct a deep bibliometric analysis of the published articles on pit and fissure sealants between 2012 and 2023, to track research trends, key contributors, collaborative networks, and gaps in the literature.Methods: Articles were obtained from Scopus, Web of Science, and PubMed databases with a bibliometric analysis of articles published from 2012 to 2023. The metrics were calculated using the package Biblioshiny in R while VOSviewer was used in the analysis of authorship, citation, and thematic network.Results: A total of 1,215 articles with 4,059 authors was analyzed, averaging 4.56 authors per paper, attesting to the high collaboration level. The United States, Brazil, and India are known to lead the sealant research activities. Sealant research tends to indicate the extent to which the world is going in the preventive dentistry field. Trends indicated a maximum output in 2015 and 2019 followed by a decline in subsequent years, indicating an overall annual decline in the rate of publication of -2.16%. Thematic analysis found that the most common themes of research were sealant efficacy, material innovation, and application techniques.Conclusion: Analysis Dramatic progresses in pit and fissure sealant research are highlighted due to an increasing global network. However, areas include improved long-term clinical follow up and optimizing retention when these sealants are put on under different conditions. Gaps should be addressed on how to innovate materials, form, and techniques and strategies for sealants that aim for evidence-based preventive recommendations and guidelines in public health dental practice.

Comparison of Bankruptcy Application Procedures Between Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) and State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN)

This study aims to compare the bankruptcy application procedures between State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD). Bankruptcy is a condition that significantly impacts economic stability, both nationally and regionally. In this case, both types of enterprises are regulated by different regulations but with similar underlying principles. Therefore, this research examines the differences and similarities in bankruptcy procedures for BUMN and BUMD, as well as the authority each possesses in the bankruptcy application process. Additionally, this study highlights the importance of harmonizing regulations governing bankruptcy procedures to ensure the coherence of the prevailing legal system. The research method used is normative legal research with a legislative approach and a conceptual approach. This research reveals that although there are similarities in objectives, significant procedural differences require adjustments to create uniformity and legal certainty in resolving bankruptcy issues for both types of enterprises.

UV Solar Energy and Erythemal Exposure: Mathematical Models to Assess the Dose on Vertical and Inclined Planes in Different Sky Conditions

Ultra violet (UV) solar energy can cause several negative effects to the skin and eyes in case of overexposure. To protect people from erythemal damage, personal erythemal exposure must be carefully assessed when outdoor activities are carried out. The direct measure with scientific instruments is impracticable to common people, and indirect methods assess the exposure only on the horizontal plane: this work developed a mathematical model to assess erythemal exposure to all the body districts. UVA irradiance and erythemal irradiance were measured on several inclined planes, oriented to the four cardinal directions, in seven environments with multiple sky conditions. The UV erythemal (UVE) ratio between erythemal irradiance on an inclined plane (Iery°) and UVA irradiance on a horizontal plane (IUVAh) was calculated. The results indicate that the UVE = Iery°/IUVAh is variable across the day and depends on the plane orientation, its degree of inclination, and sky conditions. Mathematical models to calculate erythemal exposure in clear, intermediate and overcast sky conditions on planes with different inclinations and orientations were derived from the daily trends of the UVE = Iery°/IUVAh. The application procedure of the mathematical model to the vertical plane oriented to the south is provided as an example.

Methodological guidelines for a rapid appraisal of agricultural innovation systems under agroecology (RAAIS-AE)

The agricultural innovation system (AIS) is an approach that considers agricultural innovation from a multidisciplinary perspective. The Rapid Appraisal of Agricultural Innovation Systems is one of the commonly used operational methods. It involves a series of structured and participatory activities, including interviews, focus group discussions, and stakeholder workshops, to identify the actors, institutions, and relationships involved in the AIS, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of the system. This approach has been structured in such a manner that it adapts easily to different contexts where different stakeholders, such as developers, academicians, and policymakers are working with community members on innovation. A reflection on the concept -what to know (the requirements) and what to get (the outputs) is necessary for coming up with practical, reflective analysis and applicable procedures for a deeper understanding of the context where the innovations are introduced. Following this will enable us to fully understand the bottlenecks in transitioning from conventional systems to an agroecological model thus pinpointing potential entry points for promoting these systems’ dissemination and scaling.

Sustainability assessment in food analysis: the application of Green Analytical Chemistry tools to phthalate residue analysis in edible oils

Edible oils are essential in daily diet due to their high contribution of fatty acids, fat-soluble vitamins, and triglycerides. During the processes of growing, processing, storage, transport, or packaging, they can be contaminated by ubiquitous phthalate esters, considered endocrine disruptors. Thus, analytical methodologies to allow tight control of their presence are mandatory. Several sample treatments have been considered in this study: microwave-assisted extraction (MAE), liquid-liquid extraction (LLE), dispersive solid phase extraction (DSPE), magnetic SPE (MSPE), solid phase microextraction (SPME), Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) or its combinations. However, the selection of an analytical procedure is usually performed from an Analytical Chemistry perspective, without considering factors such as the sustainability of the selected methodology and/or its impact on the environment. In this sense, the Green Analytical Chemistry strategy can play an important role. To demonstrate this fact, six different analytical procedures have been evaluated in terms of sustainability by using several greenness evaluation tools. Procedures from MAE-gel permeation chromatography (GPC)-SPE till SERS, showing adequate analytical characteristics, have been selected. The application of Analytical GREEnness calculator (AGREE), AGREE preparation (AGREE prep), and blue applicability grade index (BAGI) tools showed that MAE-GPC-SPE was the less green analytical procedure while SERS was the greener one. The BAGI evaluation showed that headspace (HS) and SERS were the most applicable procedures.

Application and Prospect of Artificial Intelligence Technology in Low-Carbon Cities—From the Perspective of Urban Planning Content and Process

In the era of digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI) technology—one of the swiftest growing emerging technologies—when integrated with urban planning, can introduce innovative approaches for low-carbon city development and foster the attainment of dual carbon objectives: carbon neutrality and peak carbon emissions. Current research predominantly investigates the influence and alterations of emerging technologies on urban elements, yet it overlooks a comprehensive examination of the applicable procedures of these technologies and their potential synergy with urban planning. Consequently, this study employs a systematic literature review to delve into the application of AI in sectors such as architecture, transportation, land use, and green space development. It categorizes the specific impact processes into monitoring, identification, simulation, and prediction. By offering an exhaustive analysis of urban planning’s content and methodology, this paper elucidates the role of AI technology in the creation of low-carbon cities. The study found that: (1) Due to the varying degrees of application and integration with professional technologies in different fields, the current research focuses more on architecture, land use, and transportation. (2) Combining the four steps of urban planning, artificial intelligence can be divided into monitoring, recognition, simulation, and prediction types, each with its own characteristics. (3) Overall, AI technology is mainly applied in the identification and simulation of architecture, transportation, and land use. (4) There is still room for improvement in the application of AI technology in waste emissions and other algorithms.

Sudut Pandang Dan Kefahaman Warganet Terhadap Zakat Semasa Pandemik Covid-19 Di Malaysia Berdasarkan Teori Prosodi Semantik

The COVID-19 pandemic has left a huge impact on economic activities, thus affecting the people. The evidence is that 1.78 million data extracted from social media is related to socioeconomic issues. One of the most talked about topics is the issue of zakat (alms) in Malaysia. Intrigued by these problems, this article aims to examine the viewpoint and understanding of the alms, especially in relation to applications and helplines, as well as the issues of confusion in the meaning and concept of alms. By using the keyword [zakat] obtained through the virtual advertising operation on Facebook data, the study examined 35,000 posts (reply comments) detected from January to June 2020. All data analysed are based on the semantic prosody theory which expresses the view that each word has its own consistent aura, thus enabling it to be transferred and its meaning attached to other words in a sentence. The results of the analysis found that both issues highlighted often showed the collocation of the word [zakat] with the words [mohon/apply], [proses/process], [konsep/concept], [makna/meaning] and [asnaf/a group of Muslims worthy of receiving Muslim tithe or]. The understanding of the collocation relationship displays two forms of difficulties in alms which are difficulty in understanding the process and procedure of alms application and difficulty in understanding the concept and meaning of [zakat] and its details. The analysis also found that both issues were discussed cynically, causing misunderstanding if not properly addressed. This situation indicates that no matter how small the issue is raised, it should be taken care of in order to ensure that the alms management can be preserved in the name of Islam.

Lessons learned from implementing a digital rehabilitation care planning platform to improve care access for patients with work disability: qualitative process evaluation of the RehaPro-SERVE study

BackgroundInpatient rehabilitation therapies can be applied for in Germany by patients of working age to support their return to work. However, there are some problems that impede an easy and uncomplicated application process. An interdisciplinary case management approach for rehabilitation care planning was developed to facilitate the access to rehabilitation. Case conferences (CCs) were held with relevant stakeholders and took place on a digital communication platform. We conducted a qualitative process evaluation to understand the implementation of the intervention and to identify contextual factors as well as mechanisms for a successful implementation in the context of primary care.MethodsThe process evaluation included interviews with primary care physicians (PCPs), patients and stakeholders involved in the intervention process. Reflexive thematic analysis was used to analyse the data. Emerging themes were structured according to the Donabedian framework of structure, process and outcomes.ResultsA total of 18 interviews were conducted. Important results included the desire for more patient involvement and case management. Patients especially valued the opportunity to receive support from a social worker. Limitations of the platform related to usability and limited opportunities for stakeholder communication. Despite training for PCPs, several problems arose regarding the clarity of the intervention process. Patients were satisfied with their application process and the treatments offered, while PCPs reported an increase in workload.ConclusionsA digitalisation of the application procedure for rehabilitation and further treatment options is acceptable to patients and personal support of a social worker is particularly valued. However, patients should be included in the CC in terms of a shared decision-making process. The digital platform requires sufficient training and adjustments have to be made to enhance usability and to improve the efficiency of the process for PCPs. Overall, the exchange between the various stakeholders in the CC is considered particularly useful in more complex cases.Trial registrationDRKS German Clinical Trials Register, DRKS0 00242 07. Statistical monitoring applied to data science in classification: continuous validation in predictive models

PurposeThis study aims to analyze the performance of quality indices to continuously validate a predictive model focused on the control chart classification.Design/methodology/approachThe research method used analytical statistical methods to propose a classification model. The project science research concepts were integrated with the statistical process monitoring (SPM) concepts using the modeling methods applied in the data science (DS) area. For the integration development, SPM Phases I and II were associated, generating models with a structured data analysis process, creating a continuous validation approach.FindingsValidation was performed by simulation and analytical techniques applied to the Cohen’s Kappa index, supported by voluntary comparisons in the Matthews correlation coefficient (MCC) and the Youden index, generating prescriptive criteria for the classification. Kappa-based control charts performed well for m = 5 sample amounts and n = 500 sizes when Pe is less than 0.8. The simulations also showed that Kappa control requires fewer samples than the other indices studied.Originality/valueThe main contributions of this study to both theory and practitioners is summarized as follows: (1) it proposes DS and SPM integration; (2) it develops a tool for continuous predictive classification models validation; (3) it compares different indices for model quality, indicating their advantages and disadvantages; (4) it defines sampling criteria and procedure for SPM application considering the technique’s Phases I and II and (5) the validated approach serves as a basis for various analyses, enabling an objective comparison among all alternative designs.

PENGARUH KOMPETENSI TERHADAP KINERJA PERAWAT BANGSAL RAWAT INAP DI RSUD dr. SOEHADI PRIJONEGORO SRAGEN

Introduction: Human resources are the most important determining factor in achieving the strategic goals of an organization, especially in the healthcare industry. Based on the results of a preliminary study, inpatient ward nurses have education ranging from third diploma to bachelor's degree to postgraduate degree, and inpatient indicators meet the ten standards set by the Indonesian Ministry of Health. The competence of nurses in terms of knowledge and skills in nursing is very important to know how good the performance of nurses is in achieving good health goals in accordance with the duties and authority, code of ethics and applicable standard operating procedures. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of competence on the performance of inpatient ward nurses at RSUD Dr. Soehadi Prijonegoro Sragen Methods: This study used a quantitative paradigm with a cross-sectional design to test the hypothesis. The study population consisted of all nurses (N = 158) in 11 inpatient wards. The study sample consisted of 121 nurses selected using proportional random sampling technique. The predictor variable was competence and the criterion variable was nursing performance. The analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis (simple linear regression analysis). Results: Based on univariate analysis, competence and performance are in the "good" category, with the percentage of competence of 95.87% and nurse performance of 92.56%. Based on bivariate analysis, the significance value is 0.000 <0.05 and t count is 8.796> t table 1.980. The results of the study indicate that competence has a positive influence on the performance of nursing staff. Conclusions: The conclusion is that competence has a positive effect on the performance of the inpatient ward hospital Dr. Soehadi Prijonegoro Sragen Regional Hospital.

Balancing of Counterclaims as a Legal Construction Similar to Set-off

This article examines the application of set-off under Article 410 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation within bankruptcy procedures, highlighting the limitations imposed by proportionality and claims priority rules. These restrictions often conflict with economic feasibility, leading to the emergence of a legal construction known as the balancing of counterclaims in judicial practice. Although balancing of counterclaims functions similarly to set-off, it circumvents the statutory limitations traditionally applied to set-off. Despite its practical utility in addressing set-off admissibility issues in bankruptcy, the concept lacks proper legal justification. This article explores the legal nature of balancing counterclaims, its distinctions from set-off, and its criteria and application procedures. The article begins by examining the historical evolution of balancing counterclaims and the rationale behind their distinct terminology. A comparative analysis with set-off under Article 410 of the Civil Code is conducted, focusing on the grounds for obligations termination, purpose, scope, and procedural applications. Key differences between the two concepts are in their goal and limited application scope, allowing balancing counterclaims to operate beyond the proportionality and claim priority constraints. Additionally, the article delves into potential penalties and the security functions associated with balancing counterclaims. In conclusion, balancing counterclaims can be best understood either as a legal construct derived from traditional set-off principles or as a criterion for determining transaction admissibility, including set-off, within bankruptcy contexts.

Making waves: Breaking the bottleneck of recycling drinking water treatment residue for practical engineering applications in water pollution control

Drinking water treatment residue (DWTR), an inevitable byproduct of water treatment plants, is typically recycled to control water pollution. DWTR poses a low environmental risk and has the potential to function as a functional material for various applications. However, the practical engineering applications of DWTR are limited. These limitations arise from a disconnect between fundamental research and the practical needs of engineering applications, creating a bottleneck for the effective recycling of DWTR. Previous studies have primarily focused on exploring potential DWTR recycling methods that reuse Al, Fe, Mn, Ca, Si, and organic C. However, the varying properties of DWTR obtained from different water treatment plants tend to differ with respect to potential recycling methods, confusing managers and engineers in using relevant knowledge to guide practical engineering applications. To address this challenge, the author advocates for a shift in research toward establishing guidelines that provide direct guidance for practical engineering applications of DWTR. The key components of these guidelines should include risk assessment, capability evaluation, and environmental application procedures with sustainability assessment to break the bottleneck associated with the recycling of DWTR.

A Look at Challenges to the Effective Implementation of Safeguard to Fair Trial and Justice under the Cameroonian Criminal Justice System

Fair trial as a principle which ensures the administration of justice is guaranteed in the constitutions of every democratic society. The right to fair trial is an essential right in all countries respecting the rule of law. Fair trial and justice constitute the back bone of all applicable procedures and substantial laws almost in every legal culture. This means that fair trial should be perceived as a “human right” issue and therefore an international concern which should comply and be measured by international norms. This paper aims at analyzing the challenges faced in the effective implementation of the safeguard to fair trial and Justice in Cameroon. The Cameroon criminal justice system has all necessary provisions aimed at safeguarding fair trial and ensuring a horizontal playing field where justice is been maintained. However, the question remains how effective does these laws safeguard the right to fair trial and Justice. The mechanisms put in place to ensure the safeguard to fair trial and justice is insufficient, ineffective and unsuitable in guaranteeing the safeguard to fair trial and justice. In the absence of fair trial and justice, the rule of law, human rights and consequently the idea of justice becomes illusionary.

Beyond yield: Unveiling farmer perceptions and needs regarding weed management in Bangladesh.

More than 3.5 billion people depend on rice for more than 20% of their daily calories. Globally, Bangladesh is the third largest rice producer. With 171 million people, Bangladesh is also among the top consumers. Local rice production not only affects the country's food security but also influences the global rice trade. A large yield gap has been reported due to weeds. Traditional hand weeding is very costly because of labor shortages resulting from industrialization. Limited data showed a higher yield and profits when using herbicides. However, quantitative data on various aspects of weed management and associated issues representing the country's variable rice ecosystem, which is characterized by 30 agroecological zones, are lacking. We collected data on weed management practices from 865 farmers and 69 agrochemical shops covering all 30 agro-ecological zones (AEZs) through a structured survey. We observed a significant regional variation among various parameters. Approximately 82% of farmers use herbicides, and few rely solely on either manual weeding or herbicides. Pre-emergence herbicides are the predominant. Application procedures are almost the same across the country. Although 40% of farmers had secondary and higher-level education, most depend upon local sellers' suggestions rather than reading the product label regarding the dose. Few farmers consider herbicides hazardous, and respondents rarely perceive any environmental impact. Pyrazosulfuron ethyl (35%) and acetochlor-containing bensulfuron methyl (27%) are the most-used chemical species. Approximately 45% of farmers observed that herbicides suppress early seedling growth. Additional fertilizer is required to compensate for this. Multiple weed species that are difficult to control through presently used herbicides were noted in all AEZs. Around 64% of farmers observed that herbicide application contributes to higher yields as a function of timely weeding. Cost comparisons showed that high labor prices will make rice cropping unprofitable in most parts of the country if herbicides are eliminated. Clear adverse effects of pre-emergence herbicides on early crop growth implied the potential benefits of broad-spectrum herbicide-tolerant genetically engineered (GE) rice to sustain the country's food security. Additionally, such GE rice could incentivize the adoption of alternate wet and dry irrigation methods, leading to water and cost savings.

Testing and evaluation of PVCC nano layered reinforced concrete T-beam: Experimental study

This study examines the performance of reinforced concrete T-beams strengthened with PVCC nano layering and basalt fiber fabric wrapping. TP3, a PVCC nano-layered specimen with 1.2% PVA fiber, and TB2, a basalt fiber fabric-wrapped beam, outperform the other specimens. TP3 has a first fracture load of 112 kN and a maximum ultimate load of 165 kN, with 1.66 times the ductility and 1.51 times the stiffness of the control beam (T0). TP3 also has 1.61 times more energy absorption and the highest energy index, 1.46 times that of T0. TB2 can withstand a maximum ultimate load of 185 kN and has higher ductility, stiffness, energy absorption, and energy index than T0. The experimental results are validated by finite element analysis, which provides useful insights into strengthening procedures in structural engineering applications.
