계통연계형 태양광 인버터 병렬운전 상황에서의 단독운전 검출

The present invention relates to a method for detecting a stand-alone operation of a grid-connected photovoltaic parallel inverter. More specifically, the method prevents application of external disturbances in a parallel operation of the inverter to prevent a negative effect on the power quality of the inverter while enhancing the stand-alone operation detection performance. Accordingly, the method includes the steps of: detecting an angular frequency () of each output voltage from a phase locked loop (PLL) unit while executing a D-Q conversion operation on outputs of the inverter connected to a solar power generation system; measuring a frequency error () in a specific frequency band after removing a noise component in each frequency in a band pass filter (BPF) unit; and increasing the frequency error () to reflect an invalid current increase amount (gain(Kpf)) on an invalid current command value (id-ref) to increase an invalid current when the frequency error () exceeds a preset zero-band range.

스마트폰과 Online Social Network Service(OSNS)의 대중화를 통해 언제 어디서든 주변인뿐만 아니라 전 세계 사람들과 상호작용 할 수 있게 되었고, 그 결과 사람들의 OSNS 사용률은 계속 증가하고 있다. 그런데, 일부 OSNS를 통한 대인관계 형성에 집중하는 사람들의 경우, 수많은 Face-to-Face Interaction(F2F Interaction)을 통해 형성되는 인간관계의 과정을 “친구추천” 버튼 하나로 건너뜀으로써 대인관계 기술 발달 및 유지에 어려움을 겪을 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 오프라인에서 F2F Interaction 기회를 발견 및 제공할 수 있는 상황정보 기반의 친구추천 기법을 제시한다. 이를 위해 스마트폰 센서로부터 사용자의 상황정보와 Facebook에서 형성된 사용자 친구관계 정보를 수집하여 텐서 분해 및 결합을 기반으로 오프라인 환경에서 친구를 추천한다. 성능 평가를 위해 12명의 실험 참가자로부터 상황정보를 수집하고, 만족도를 평가하였다.

Bone and metal targeted polymeric nanoparticles (US20150125391 A1): a patent evaluation

ABSTRACTIntroduction: Delivery of therapeutic agents to bone is crucial for the treatment of bone metastasis and other bone diseases. The present invention patent relates to bone- and metal-targeted polymeric nanoparticles for targeting delivery of therapeutic molecules to the pathological tissues in bone or the surgical metal implant-bone tissue interface.Areas covered: The nanoparticles for drug delivery were fabricated via the assembly of amphiphilic polymers, in which the hydrophilic outer layer was minimal to prolong the circulation time, and the hydrophobic insider core was biodegradable and loaded with therapeutic agents. Bone-targeted elements were conjugated on the nanoparticle surface to enhance their affinity to bone and/or metal implant surface.Expert opinion: A prolonged, sustained release of therapeutic agents was observed by using the delivery system targeting to bone. The described invention provides a bone-targeted vector to deliver diverse therapeutic agents to bone.

Development Optimization and In-vivo Evaluation of Swellable Gastroretentive Tablet by 32 Factorial Design

Aim: The present invention preferably relates to formulation and characterization of a swellable gastroretentive tablet comprising pregabalin to enhance its bioavailability and retention time in the stomach. Materials and Methods: Tablets were prepared by wet granulation method using hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) K4M and Psyllium husk as swelling agents and all other excipients were used of pharmaceutical grade. Results and Discussions: The tablet showed mucoadhesion time, force and strength 7.5-12 h, 24-28 g and 2.35-3.62 N, respectively. Swelling index and drug release were found to be 216% and 99.2%, respectively. In-vivo imaging study and pharmacokinetic study showed retention of tablet in gastrointestinal tract of rabbit for 24 h and release up to 24 h. The results for stability study were also same as they were at the initial stages of the evaluation. The method was also found optimum and valid when it was optimized using design expert software. The data obtained was best fit into Korsmeyer–Peppas model indicating non-Fickian or anomalous release and as compared to other models as R2 value was found to be 0.9983. Conclusion: It can be concluded that using polymers such as HPMC K4M and Psyllium husk the objective of this study are meet. The probability value indicates model terms are significant. The probability value, i.e., P value found was also <0.0500. The desirability value was found 0.984 which is equal to 1. From desirability, it can also be concluded that results actually obtained matches with the software prediction, and hence, the formulation is also validated.

Distance Measurement Apparatus and Method Enabling Correction of Distance Error Induced by Target Brightness

The present invention relates to a distance measuring device and a distance measuring method which are capable of error correction according to the surface brightness of a subject. Distance errors due to the surface color, brightness, or illumination of an object to be measured can be corrected by including both an RGB camera and an illumination sensor in addition to a distance measuring sensor using a light source, and by using measurement data for two or more reference objects and introducing a brightness weight concept. Therefore, the distance to an object around the sensor can be accurately measured without any influence by the light source of the distance measuring sensor.

Herbal Formulation Against Dental Caries Causing Microorganisms Using Extracts of Stevia Rebaudiana Leaves (A Natural Sweetner)

Stevia Rebaudiana leaves have functional and sensory properties superior to those of many other high-potency sweeteners. Dental caries is an infectious microbiological disease that affects almost every human. There is a linear correlation of sugar consumption with dental caries in populations worldwide. Present invention was directed to design and develop Stevia based polyherbal formulation with enhanced performance in oral care as Stevia inhibits the growth of dental caries causing microorganisms. In the present study, twelve pure isolates grown on Snyder agar medium and five MTCC strains i.e. Streptococcus mutans, Staphylococcus aureus, Curvularia lunata, Escherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis were screened for antimicrobial activity through agar well diffusion method. Metabolites from plant leaves were extracted using six different solvents and investigated for phytochemical properties. Few cultures were found to be belonging to Staphylococcus species, Bacillus sp., Clostridium sp., Neisseria sp., and Escherichia. coli. On the basis of maximum zone of inhibition produced against cultures, diethyl ether extracts of plant were effective against bacteria and fungi, followed by petroleum ether and chloroform and finally minimum inhibitory concentration and minimum bactericidal concentration of extracts were performed. The phytochemical screening of different extracts of Stevia showed the presence of various secondary metabolites. Herbal formulation prepared in diethyl ether extract displayed significant bioactivity against all twelve isolated cultures and standard cultures. The study holds importance as one needs to be familiarized with alternatives to sugar and type of food products that are available with substitute sweetening agents, as we have the responsibility to reduce the incidence of dental caries by emphasizing the role of sugars in caries formation. Removal of Histidine residue from ZN- a-2- glycoprotein by Carboxypeptidase enzyme using Spectrofluorimetry and Maldi-tof-Mass Spectroscopy

The present invention relates, in general, to methods developed of diagnosing and monitoring to binding with Zn-a-2-glycoprotein in order to design rational drugs. Zinc-alpha-2-glycoprotein (ZAG) is a secreted protein that is present in most bodily fluids. It is interesting because of its ability to play many important functions in the human body, including fertilization and lipid mobilization. After the discovery of this molecule, during the last 5 decades, various studies have been documented on its structure and functions but still it is considered as a protein with an unknown function. Its expression is regulated by glucocorticoids. Due to its high sequence homology with lipid-mobilizing factor and high expression in cancer cachexia, it is considered as a novel adipokine. On the other hand, its X-ray crystal structure and folding structure is similar to MHC class I antigen-presenting molecule; hence ZAG may have a role in the expression of the immune response and providing defined binding-altered mutants for cellular signaling studies and potential medical application. Spectrofluorimetry and MALDI-TOF Mass Spectroscopy showed that ZAG binds DAUDA with Kdin the micro molar range. This study will examine removal of histidine residue from recombinant ZAG protein by enzymes through Spectrofluorimetry and MALDI-TOF Mass Spectroscopy.

NMDA receptor is activated by glutamate in addition to glycine as a coagonist. Its activation allows positively charged ions to flow through the cell membrane. The NMDA receptor is very important for controlling synaptic plasticity and memory function. Many of the central nervous system (CNS) disorders are caused by dysfunction of the glutamatergic pathways. These include schizophrenia, cognitive deficits, dementia, Parkinson disease, Alzheimer disease, bipolar disorder, and other disorders. Schizophrenia is a complex disease that affects patients’ thinking, feelings, and actions. It affects about 1% of the world population and requires lifelong therapy. A large number of animal models studies support what is known as the NMDA hypofunction hypothesis of schizophrenia. The multi-frame based feature point classifying method for building recognition comprises: (a) step of extracting a feature point from each of images of the multi-frames; (b) step of matching each of the images based on extracted feature points to obtain a pair of matched feature points; (c) step of obtaining a homography matrix from the pair of feature points, and classifying the feature points by using the obtained homography matrix; and (d) step of repeatedly performing the (c) step by using the remaining feature points after classifying the feature points. The feature point classifying method is provided to find and classify a feature point which is repeatedly shown by finding an associative relation of the feature points with random sample consensus (RANSAC), thereby increasing accuracy of matching the feature points on the fact that the feature point of a background is shown in a limited image only.

Material and Methods: A general object of the present invention is to provide an improved method for transmission of stimulating signals to an electrode implanted in the body. The new neuro implant presented here is a fully implantable, externally rechargeable and controlled system. Results: To overcome the problems encountered with the existing fully implantable neuro implants such as component failure, limited battery life, programming difficulties and high cost, a new system, that is based on fully implanted externally charged and controlled principles, has been developed. Conclusion: The newly designed neuro implant system, which is patented and having full quality assurance certificates (CE, ISO9001 and ISO13485), appears to be competitive to the presently known neuro implants in terms of quality, safety, reliability, reduction in size and cost.

정수슬러지를 활용하여 제조한 흡착제의 H2S 흡착특성

정수슬러지를 탄화 및 활성처리하여 흡착제를 제조하였으며, 이를 이용한 황화수소 흡착특성을 고찰하였다. 제조 된 흡착제에 대한 BET측정 및 SEM 등 물성분석을 실시하였으며, 황화수소를 대상으로 회분식의 흡착평형실험 을 실시하였다. 실험변수로는 활성처리시 적용되는 약품종류 및 농도 등이 적용되었다. 실험결과, 정수슬러지는 탄화나 약품첨착과정을 통해 커다란 성능 향상이 이뤄짐을 알 수 있었다.

A flush urinal-toilet disposes human waste by using water through a drainpipe to another location. A series of urinal-toilets are fitted in offices, malls, multiplexes, educational institutions, bus railway stations, airports, commercial complexes, stadia and other public places. Most have manual flushing systems like push button, trigger, pull chain, etc. however, use of such manually operated flush can spread germs and bacteria when contacted and thus users avoids to flush or lead to wastage of water if used. Now a day's laser or infrared sensor operated flushes is also used in the places of high commercial value and importance but are expensive and required continuous O&M. Therefore, the sanitary facility may remain un-flushed leading to unhygienic conditions and foul smell. Thus need for a low cost automatic flushing apparatus which can flush the right-controlled amount of water and avoid direct contact thus conserving water as well as maintaining personal hygiene and sanitation The present invention relates to a specially designed mechanical automatic urinal-toilet flusher and a mechanism thereof, which utilizes the weight load/pressure of the person using the urinal-toilet for automatic flushing the urinal- toilet with the specified or measured quantity of water to prevent odors, soil drain and scale buildup. It ensures the compulsory, regular and un-intentional flushing of the urinal-toilet without any direct hand contact of the user to the flush and also conserve water at the same time is simple and cheap, which can be fitted-retrofitted to new as well as existing water pipe line of the urinal-toilets.

Increasing the use of chemical fertilisers leads to various health hazards, also contaminating the water bodies etc., it is essential for minimising the usage of such chemical fertilisers. The present invention discloses a novel nano-biofertiliser that provides essential nutrients for plant growth as nano-particles along with bio bacteria. The nano-biofertilisers develop seed enhancement in addition to plant growth and improvement. The exemplary personifications in the present concept disclosed towards a nano-biofertiliser composition comprising copper oxide nanoparticles and bacteria from Nitrobacter genus and Nitrosomonas genus.
