It is known that the success of military- professional activity depends on the peculiarities of the learning and upbringing process, which must be built not only on the basis of general psychological and pedagogical laws, but also taking into account certain methods of influence that correspond to the characteristics of cadets. Today's conditions, changes in the directions of military and professional activity and the conditions for conducting combat operations by servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of the state against the aggressor of the Russian Federation require from hand-to-hand combat the improvement of the set of means for training, education and formation of soldiers in technical, tactical, physical and mental readiness for actions in difficult conditions of close combat.
 The article presents the main results of experimental research on the testing in real conditions of the educational process of the proposed experimental program for training female servicemen in hand-to-hand combat, which are used during practical classes in accordance with the training program at the VZVO (Lviv) during the academic year. The purpose of the experimental training program for female servicemen was to prepare cadets for hand-to-hand combat and self-defense. The program is designed for the period of study at the VZVO: in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd years - study and training of techniques and actions, in the 4th and 5th years - improvement of previously learned techniques and actions of hand-to-hand combat with the inclusion of a section in various forms of physical preparation
