The article analyzes the current state of scientific understanding of sports management and outlines its place in the system of public administration and the market for physical culture and sports services; it outlines the problem of fragmentation of institutional and organizational approaches to managing the sphere of physical culture and sports in the context of decentralization, military challenges, and the strengthening of market mechanisms. It is shown that sports management is formed at the intersection of general management theory, sports economics, and social policy, combining health, educational, and economic goals, which complicates the criteria for the effectiveness of management decisions. It is substantiated that the institutional structure of physical culture and sports management in Ukraine is multi-level and polycentric in nature, but is characterized by asymmetry of powers and resources between central and local authorities, educational institutions, sports federations and clubs, as well as insufficiently developed mechanisms of coordination and partnership. At the organizational level, there is a trend away from rigidly hierarchical models toward more flexible, networked, and project-oriented models that involve the delegation of some powers and the integration of educational, competitive, and recreational formats of activity. The growing role of the marketing and market dimension of sports management has been emphasized, as evidenced by the need for systematic research of the physical education and sports services market, segmentation of target groups, and the formation of long-term stakeholder loyalty. A comparative analysis of foreign (particularly American) models has made it possible to identify conceptual guidelines for the modernization of the Ukrainian system – integration of legal, financial, and marketing mechanisms into the organizational architecture of sports institutions, strengthening the role of educational institutions as active participants in sports policy, and developing consistent career paths for sports management professionals.

The relevance of the study lies in the fact that with the modern development of physical culture and sports, the need for qualified personnel is increasing. First, the socio-economic changes that have occurred in recent decades have emphasized the importance of health and physical activity, which has naturally increased the demand for competent professionals in this field. Furthermore, increasing competition between universities for talented applicants dictates the need for continuous modernization of educational programs and the introduction of best practices. The main objective of the research is to conduct a content analysis of the educational programs in the field 49.03.01 "Physical Education" and 49.03.04 "Sport" in a number of Russian universities. A comparative analysis of the curricula of five universities was carried out: Ural Federal University (Yekaterinburg), Tyumen State University (Tyumen), Tomsk State University (Tomsk), Povolzhsky State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism (Kazan),and Siberian State University of Physical Culture(Omsk). Regulatory documents (the Federal Law "On Education in the Russian Federation", the Federal State Educational Standards for the considered majors) were studied, and a sociological survey of students in these specialties at the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Youth Policy of UrFU was conducted. Significant differences in the curricula of the universities were revealed in terms of the number and composition of disciplines in the medical-biological profile, general education subjects, and those directly related to the theory of physical culture. The specifics of training specialists in classical universities and universities of physical culture profile were established. The survey results showed a high degree of overall student satisfaction with the content of the educational programs; however, wishes were noted to expand the range of sports specializations and optimize the volume of medical and biological disciplines. Educational institutions form unique approaches to the implementation of educational programs, determined by their own traditions and the goals of graduate training. The obtained data confirm the feasibility of further developing recommendations for harmonizing curricula and integrating the experience of various universities, as well as the importance of systematically monitoring student opinions to improve the quality of training for specialists in the field of physical culture and sports.

The article examines the legal aspects of player transfers in Ukrainian basketball through the lens of national and international regulation, taking into account the provisions of labor law, regulations of the Basketball Federation of Ukraine (BFU), norms of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), as well as the practice of international sports arbitration institutions. This approach makes it possible to comprehensively assess the current state of legal regulation of player transfers and to outline the key challenges of the transfer system. Purpose of the study is to determine the specifics of the legal framework of basketball transfers, identify gaps in existing regulations, and develop proposals for improving the current model. The research is based on the Constitution of Ukraine, the Labor Code, the Law of Ukraine “On Physical Culture and Sports”, internal BFU regulations, FIBA documents, and the practice of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). Formal-legal, comparative-legal, and systemic methods, as well as analysis of judicial practice, were applied, which allowed identification of legal conflicts and possibilities for adapting international standards to Ukrainian realities. The study revealed significant contradictions between Ukrainian labor legislation and special sports regulations that complicate the realization of players’ right to freely choose a club. It was also found that there is a lack of transparent mechanisms for compensation for the training of young athletes, which often leads to disputes between clubs. Foreign approaches were analyzed, including the landmark Bosman case in the EU, which strengthened athletes’ freedom of employment, and the NBA system, based on collective bargaining agreements. The necessity of creating an independent sports arbitration body in Ukraine and introducing a unified electronic registry of transfer agreements was substantiated. The research proves that the transfer system in Ukrainian basketball requires comprehensive reform aimed at harmonizing labor law with sports regulations, strengthening the guarantees of players’ and clubs’ rights, and ensuring integration into the international legal framework. The proposed recommendations demonstrate both scientific and practical novelty and form the basis for further academic research.

Introduction. The consequences of Russia's war against Ukraine indicate that the sports resources of the occupied territories, as well as those suffering from regular shelling and destruction, can no longer be used, which makes a safe educational and training process impossible here. This means that the country's sports map has shrunk by a significant number of regions, and therefore the sports reform project must take into account the consequences of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine. The aim of the article is to substantiate the project of reform of the sphere of high-performance sports in the context of the consequences of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine. Materials and мethods. The study was carried out at the Pridneprovsk State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports to find ways to promote the reform of high-achieving sports in Ukraine. The methods used were the study and generalization of data from literary sources and information from the Internet, as well as abstraction, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction. Results. Ukraine's losses should be taken into account in the search for approaches to the development of sports and high-achieving sports in particular, which we call the reform of high-achieving sports in the context of the consequences of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine. After all, from the incomplete information provided, the following is obvious: in order to preserve and increase the traditions of Ukrainian sports, cardinal, rather than fragmentary, changes are needed in the organization and management of the entire sphere of sports in the context of the consequences of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine. Conclusions. It is advisable to provide the leadership of the regions, which dispose of all the resources available in the territories, with the opportunity to determine the priority sports for the region themselves. And the system for determining the best among the regions in the category of adult athletes should be aimed at winning medals at the European and world championships, World Cup stages and the Olympic Games. If we agree with the important role in the nearest Olympic cycles of those regions that have suffered less from the consequences of Russia's war against Ukraine, it is advisable to consider the reform of high-performance sports described in this article in its first and general form. It is also important to call on other scientists and sports practitioners to provide their proposals on the topic of sports reform. This will create, firstly, competition between relevant project proposals. Secondly, it is possible to strengthen the project chosen as the base, also by attracting relevant ideas and inputs from other projects.

Introduction. Studies aimed at determining the features of the morphophysiological state of health and adaptive capabilities of the body of students are considered relevant. The ability to competently find an approach to the comprehensive study of the adaptive capabilities of the body, both individually and in a group, and dynamic monitoring of it in healthy and sick people will allow for timely detection of probable symptoms of body damage, which will contribute to the prevention of the development of the disease, as well as the prevention of complications at the preclinical stage. The aim of the article is to determine the adaptive potential of the cardiovascular system in students who are involved in sports. Materials and мethods. The study was conducted at the Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Health of LNTU. 60 male students participated in the experiment. According to the tasks set, they were divided into three groups: group 1 – students who do not play sports (20 people); group 2 – students who attend the volleyball section (20 people); Group 3 – students who are involved in the athletics section (20 people). Results. We calculated the adaptive potential (AP) data in three groups of subjects and found that the majority of subjects had a high AP index. Students who do not engage in sports (group 1), AP is the lowest (1.454 standard units), which indicates a limited ability of the cardiovascular system to adapt to physical exertion. Students who are involved in volleyball (group 2) have an average level of AP (1.518 standard units). The highest level of AP is observed in students who are involved in athletics (group 3) – 1.646 standard units. Conclusions. Our study showed that all three groups of students have an effective functioning of the circulatory system, which is confirmed by normal values of the coefficient of circulatory efficiency. Regular physical activity, especially volleyball, has a positive effect on the efficiency of blood circulation

One of the main factors of a healthy lifestyle of a modern person is rational motor activity, manifested in the form of natural locomotion (walking, running, swimming, cycling), game disciplines, strength and gymnastic complexes, training systems, as well as various non-traditional exercises, usually of an innovative nature. Regular physical activity significantly improves physical health, especially the state of the musculoskeletal and cardiovascular systems, increases immunity, and has a positive effect on the overall tone of a person. Physical culture and health technology is a method of implementing activities aimed at achieving and maintaining physical well-being and reducing the risk of developing diseases by means of physical culture and health improvement. These are the basic rules for using special knowledge and skills, methods of organizing and implementing specific actions necessary to perform physical culture and health activities. Today, physical culture and health technologies are not the property of the personal experience of rare specialists but are developed in accordance with the achievements of medical science. Any physical culture and health technology includes setting goals and objectives for health improvement, as well as the actual implementation of physical culture and health activities in one form or another. The technology includes not only the implementation of a health program, but also determining the level of health, and testing physical fitness, as well as management and administration issues. Thus, physical culture and health technology is a way of implementing various physical culture and health activities. This is the basis on which the so-called health industry and physical culture and health work are built. Physical culture and health technologies can be implemented in a variety of areas: shaping, aerobics, fitness, bodybuilding, callanetics, isotron, stretching, as well as running, tourism, swimming.

This article examines the origins, conceptual principles, and modern significance of CrossFit as an innovative system of functional training. Developed in the 1990s by the American coach and former gymnast Greg Glassman, CrossFit emerged as an alternative to traditional fitness approaches used in military and police training programs, which were mainly focused on isolated physical qualities. Glassman emphasized the creation of a comprehensive training methodology that integrates weightlifting, gymnastics, cardiovascular exercises, and functional movements to simultaneously enhance strength, endurance, speed, flexibility, coordination, and other fundamental motor abilities. The study highlights the historical development of CrossFit, including its institutionalization through the establishment of CrossFit Inc. in 2000 and the rapid global spread of affiliated gyms. Particular attention is paid to the emergence of competitive formats such as the CrossFit Games, which emphasize unpredictability of tasks and require high levels of universal physical preparedness. Statistical data demonstrate that the CrossFit community is equally represented by men and women, reflecting the program’s adaptability and wide appeal. Scientific research confirms multiple positive effects of CrossFit training, including improvements in cardiovascular and respiratory endurance, muscular strength, metabolic efficiency, and neuromuscular coordination. Moreover, participation in CrossFit has been associated with enhanced cognitive functions due to complex, multi-planar movements that demand coordination and spatial orientation. Importantly, CrossFit is scalable, allowing exercises to be modified according to age, fitness level, and health status. Programs have been successfully adapted for children (CrossFit Kids), professional groups such as firefighters and military personnel, as well as individuals seeking rehabilitation or health-oriented training. Therefore, CrossFit should be considered not merely as a fitness trend but as a holistic approach to physical culture and sport. Its combination of universality, high intensity, and adaptability positions it as one of the most effective and innovative forms of modern physical training with significant health, educational, and professional applications.

The article considers the use of information and digital technologies (IDT) in teaching biomechanics as a powerful tool for quantitative and qualitative analysis of human motor activity in industrial, military, medical, sports, recreational, household and other areas to students of higher educational institutions of various professional directions. Based on the analysis and generalization of the latest research and publications of leading Ukrainian and foreign scientists, it was found that for effective biomechanical and ergonomic analysis of human motor activity, such IDT methods as video analysis, 3D-modeling and integration of sensory data are the most promising today. Therefore, in the context of modern requirements for objectivity and accuracy of the results of biomechanical analysis of motor actions, the search for ways to apply IDT in this process is an important scientific and practical task. It is known that the evaluation of any process is based on comparing its specific parameters with the characteristics of the selected sample, and improvement is based on eliminating the identified differences. Improving human motor activity also consists in comparing its biomechanical parameters with selected norms, samples or standards. The example of laboratory work on biomechanics demonstrates the use of a kinogram of motor actions to obtain detailed kinematic and dynamic parameters of the selected motor task, which is not possible when using only traditional methods. The conclusion summarizes that the use of modern IDT in the biomechanical analysis of human motor activity not only increases the effectiveness of the formation of readiness of students of higher educational institutions in the field of physical culture and sports for their future professional activities in the health, sports and training, physiotherapy, rehabilitation and recreational areas, but also expands the prospects for further scientific research. In particular, this applies to both the introduction of IDT in teaching professionally oriented disciplines, and the dissemination of positive experience in the use of IDT in the analysis of human motor activity in the study of biomechanics and ergonomics by students of medical, engineering, pedagogical, military and other specialties.
