The purpose of this study is to reveal the moral educational significance of Zhu Xi’s ZhongHeXinShuo(中和新說). Zhu Xi’s Xin-Xing-Lun(心性論) changes from ZhongHeJiuShuo(中和舊說) to ZhongHeXinShuo(中和新說), establishing a new mind-centered system. This study discussed the changed content elements of Zhu Xi’s Xin-Xing-Lun(心性論) and the resulting moral educational implications. First, it was revealed that as Xin(心) controls Xìng (性) and Qíng(情), the predominant power of Xin can be exerted even during wèifā(未發). Accordingly, moral education should be structured in a way that helps learners cultivate their inner morality. In addition, by applying the concept of zhijue(知覺), which is the function of Xin, it was revealed that the scope of activity of Xin was expanded to both in weifa(未發) and yifa(已 發). As the role of always-aware zhijue has become important, moral education should be structured in a way that can improve perceptual discernment. The meaning of this study can be found in the fact that Zhu Xi’s ZhongHeXinShuo can serve as a philosophical foundation for character development education and moral knowledge education.
