  • Dec 31, 2025
  • Maeswara : Jurnal Riset Ilmu Manajemen dan Kewirausahaan
  • Sugianto Sugianto + 1 more

The use of e-wallets is increasing in Indonesia, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The most popular digital wallets in Indonesia, such as Go-Pay, OVO, ShopeePay, Dana, and LinkAja, have adapted the mobile banking system, making it easy for users to download the app through the Play Store or App Store. According to Insight Asia, DANA is ranked third in terms of number of users after Gopay and OVO, with 221 respondents from major Indonesian cities. As an e-wallet platform created by PT Espay Debit Indonesi Koe Indonesia in 2018, DANA, as a local company, attracts people's interest and has become a popular choice. This study aims to identify the relationship and influence between Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use on Decision to Use E-wallet, especially DANA, with Intention to Use E-wallet as an intervention variable. Through regression tests, the research findings show that Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use have a positive and significant effect on Intention to Use DANA, and Intention to Use DANA has a significant effect on Decision to Use DANA. Intention to Use E-wallet mediates the relationship between Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use with Decision to Use DANA. This result is obtained by looking at the results of statistical processing, where the p-value <0.005. These findings imply that the perceived usefulness and ease of use of the DANA application has the potential to encourage user interest in using e-wallets, which in turn can influence users' decisions to adopt DANA as an electronic payment method.

Introducing the NFT Popularity to Cover the Gap of Rarity in the NFT Evaluation
  • Dec 16, 2025
  • ACM Transactions on the Web
  • Barbara Guidi + 1 more

One of the main Web3 applications is Non-Fungible Tokens, blockchain-based certificates to keep track of the ownership of unique digital or physical assets. Nowadays, there is no standard method to evaluate an NFT, and only for a trait-based collection can we rely on the rarity score, which estimates the scarcity of the traits of the NFT. However, rarity is unsuitable for describing the price of a token in a volatile market, and it is not a good price indicator because a token’s price is strictly related to external unpredictable events and the interest people have in specific assets. In this paper, we propose an evaluation model called The Popularity Model , that aims to evaluate NFTs based on marketability The Popularity Model is based on a set of indices which define a dynamic, socioeconomic indicator, with an antifraud system. We formalised and compared our popularity model and the rarity score to show their differences. Finally, we propose two applicable use cases in which the popularity index can be applied. The experiments show and confirm the utility and efficacy of the proposed evaluation model.

CONSUMERS' ATTITUDES AND PREFERENCES TOWARDS HERITAGE CEREALS AND SOURDOUGH BREADS
  • Dec 10, 2025
  • Veredas do Direito
  • Abdullah Badem

Bread is one of the most consumed staple foods in the world. With rising consumer awareness, interest in ancient grains and sourdough breads has increased. Interest in these breads is growing with healthy living, sustainability, and environmentally friendly approaches. Data were collected through face-to-face interviews with 415 people in Türkiye, a historically important region for ancient grains and sourdough. Consumers' bread purchasing habits, knowledge of heritage grains, the amount and variety of bread consumed, and their interest in health were determined. Chi-square analysis of the survey results indicated that the amount and variety of bread consumed are significantly influenced by individuals' socio-demographic characteristics. Among consumers, women, middle-aged individuals (36-55), individuals with a bachelor's degree (or higher), and those with a middle- to upper-middle income level place greater emphasis on the consumption of these breads. While people have a positive attitude toward sourdough bread and consume it frequently and in significant quantities, lower-income groups prefer to consume more bread at a lower price. With developing technology, communication networks, social media and logistics, people's interest and knowledge in healthy nutrition, sustainability, biodiversity and environmental protection instincts have become even more important.

  • Mengge Wang

Competition is an indispensable element in the economic development of any nation. While driving forward economic progress, free competition also brings a series of negative consequences such as monopolies. Monopolistic practices in public utilities, cloaked in the guise of public authority, pose particularly grave dangers. Addressing this issue, the report of the 20th CPC National Congress emphasizes that economic development is a critical endeavor directly impacting the people's vital interests, and that antitrust enforcement stands as one of the key legal tools for maintaining stable economic order. Among the diverse domains of antitrust enforcement, the public welfare sector holds the most significant importance and enforcement demands. Research on antitrust regulation in the public sector must be grounded in the pain points of people's livelihoods and guided by practical needs. Building upon an analysis of monopolistic practices in the public sector, it should identify existing challenges and shortcomings in antitrust regulation and formulate regulatory solutions tailored to the unique characteristics of the public sector.

Focused Interests, Motivation, and Museum/Gallery Attendance – A Mixed-Methods Survey Exploring Autistic Adults’ Experiences and Wellbeing Outcomes
  • Nov 1, 2025
  • Neurodiversity
  • Sarah Dantas + 1 more

Focused interests are characterised by high attention and focus, and are commonly experienced by autistic people. While some research frames these interests as inflexible and non-social, other research has highlighted many positive impacts for autistic people. Research also shows that cultural activities, such as museum and art gallery visits, can facilitate and promote health, including mental health, in the general population. This study used an online mixed-methods survey to explore relationships between focused interests, motivation, museum/gallery attendance, and wellbeing for 45 autistic and 44 non-autistic participants. Findings include (a) both autistic and non-autistic participants reported having focused interests, which had a similar nature and served similar purposes for both groups; (b) exploring focused interests in museums/galleries related to more positive emotions during visits for both groups, but autistic individuals more frequently raised sensory and accessibility concerns; and (c) autistic participants reported significantly lower wellbeing, but focused interests, motivation, and museum/gallery attendance did not significantly impact wellbeing. Our findings highlight the deep meaning and positive impact of focused interests on autistic lives, the potential of galleries and museums to provide opportunities for the meaningful exploration of focused interests, and the importance of minimising accessibility barriers for autistic people in these spaces. Lay Abstract Some research says that focused interests – meaning interests to which people dedicate a lot of attention, time, and focus – are bad for autistic people, but other research indicates that focused they can be good in many ways, like helping in careers or education. Visiting galleries and museums can be good for human wellbeing, but we do not know if that works in the same way for autistic people specifically. This study looked at whether focused interests, motivation, and museum/gallery attendance contributed to better wellbeing for autistic adults. We also checked if non-autistic people had focused interests, and if there were any differences in autistic and non-autistic people's interests. We looked at the different experiences and needs of autistic and non-autistic people when visiting museums/galleries. To do this, we asked 45 autistic and 44 non-autistic adults to complete an online survey including ratings on scales and open text boxes. We analysed participants’ scale ratings using statistics, and their open answers using content analysis, which helps researchers find the most frequent categories in text. Autistic people's focused interests, motivation, and museum/gallery attendance did not impact their wellbeing in the statistical analysis, but some participants wrote that they used their focused interests to help their wellbeing and mental health. Autistic people reported focused interests more frequently than non-autistic people, but the content and purpose of their interests were similar. Both groups talked about good experiences in visiting museums/galleries and exploring their focused interests there, but autistic people specifically complained about environments that were not accessible. Our findings show that being able to explore focused interests in galleries and museums can lead to positive feelings, while barriers in the environment and accessibility issues can stop autistic people from enjoying their visits and exploring their interests.

Drawing on a survey of 1,386 South Korean young adults, this study finds that news curation mediates the association between social media news use and political efficacy and participation. Analysis also reveals that political interest moderates the relationship between news curation and political efficacy and participation, with politically less interested people being more influenced by news curation than politically more interested people. The finding has significant implications as to how to rekindle young adults’ political involvement. This study contributes to the existing literature about social media’s impact on news consumption, by conceptualizing “news curation” as a unique method of engaging with social media and by illuminating its effects on democratic engagement.

  • Xuan Cheng + 1 more

With the continuous development of people's time and social needs, the transfer of old words and the emergence of new words have also expanded the content of readable dictionaries, but they still cannot meet the needs of the current Chinese language industry. Driven by big data technology, Chinese vocabulary design is also connected with computer networks, and big data databases emerge as the times require. It is imperative to establish a set of Chinese language database. On the basis of introducing the principles and methods of Chinese vocabulary database construction, this paper constructs a complete vocabulary database system, which not only realizes the statistics and classification of Chinese vocabulary, but also enhances people's interest in Chinese learning. The research results of the article show that the database carries out automatic word segmentation and part of speech tagging on the vocabulary, as well as manual proofreading and analysis. The results show that the noun part of speech accounts for the largest proportion of all parts of speech, reaching 46.4%. The noun, verb and adjective parts of speech account for 90.3% of the total morphemes, and the noun, verb and adjective combination of "2" is the majority category; the test value of the big data-driven model is the highest under the same experimental background. According to the experimental data, it can be seen that the recall value in the open test state is gradually decreasing. Under the system exchange test, the big data-driven database model shows quite good performance, and the recall, accuracy and F value are all above the performance of the other two models.

Political Interests Versus the Supremacy of Law: A Critical Review of Constitutional Law Regarding the Abolition of Tom Lembong and Amnesty for Hasto Kristiyanto
  • Oct 19, 2025
  • PATTIMURA Legal Journal
  • Fakhry Amin + 1 more

Introduction: The President's authority to grant amnesty and abolition is a constitutional prerogative that provides flexibility in resolving legal issues with political and social implications, such as reconciliation and conflict resolution. Purposes of the Research: This research aims to provide a critical analysis regarding the granting of amnesty to Hasto Kristiyanto and the abolition granted to Tom Lembong from the perspective of constitutional law. Methods of the Research: This research is a normative legal study with a conceptual and legislative approach. Results Main Findings of the Research: The constitutional authority of the President to grant amnesty and abolition is a prerogative right that provides flexibility and special power to resolve legal issues related to political and social dimensions, such as reconciliation and conflict resolution. The case of granting amnesty to Hasto Kristiyanto and abolition to Tom Lembong has sparked a debate about the balance between the supremacy of law and political interests, where the decision has the potential to mature the subordination of law to political interests, thus demanding transparency and accountability so that the President's prerogative is not misused for short-term political gain. Therefore, a checks and balances mechanism involving the House of Representatives and high transparency must be implemented so that the President's authority can be exercised in an accountable manner and in favor of the people's interests as a whole.

The Economic Potential and Existing Reality of the Chittagong Hill Tracts
  • Oct 13, 2025
  • Research Journal in Business and Economics
  • Kamrul Hasan + 1 more

The Chittagong Hill Tracts is a crucial geographical area in the south-eastern part of Bangladesh. Its area is about 13,300 square kilometres, which is one-tenth of the total area of Bangladesh. The region's diverse topography, cultural diversity, and natural resources make it richer than other regions. Most of the minority communities of Bangladesh live in this area. Being home to various small communities, lush green hills, and rich in natural resources, this region is the centre of people's emotions, love, and interest. The main objective of this research paper is to analyse the economic potential of the Chittagong Hill Tracts and the existing barriers to trade and commerce. This research paper is based on a qualitative method. Instead of collecting primary data for analysis, various reliable secondary data have been relied upon. Sectors such as tourism, agriculture, and small and cottage industries have massive potential for economic growth in the region. Essential agricultural products, including rubber, cashew nuts, coffee, bamboo, and bananas, as well as sectors like eco-tourism and community tourism, can make significant contributions to the national economy. However, there are many obstacles to achieving these goals. Prominent among them are land ownership disputes, conflict and extortion, unsafe environment, poor communication system, and lack of access to adequate financial support due to administrative complexities. Apart from this, institutional inequality and the lack of participation of local people in development activities are also significant challenges. The paper makes specific recommendations, including taking practical steps to resolve land disputes, improve connectivity, promote agro-industry, and formulate an integrated and inclusive economic development strategy. If these recommendations are implemented, the Chittagong Hill Tracts will emerge as an intense centre of economic growth in the country.

Museum Transformation into Agents of Change: A Study for Building Youth Character in Jakarta
  • Sep 26, 2025
  • Jurnal Ar Ro'is Mandalika (Armada)
  • Rangi Faridha Asiz

The complex disruptions of the digital 4.0 era have minimized the youth’s role in contributing positively to development. Whereas, in the midst of global competition, that is vulnerable to hoaxes and weakens stability, their role is very much needed to encourage development and prevent national disintegration. Through its museums and historical sites, Jakarta can raise the spirits and role of young people because this city has a history as a symbol of nationalism and a meeting point for youth, which united the Indonesian nation during the independence era. The museum's potential is still hampered by a perception of exclusivity due to a lack of youth involvement in its activities. This is evident in the declining number of visitors, particularly among young people in Jakarta. To encourage young people's interest, the government needs to transform museums into agents of change, actively: 1) developing historical potential to transform the museum's function from "guardian" to "facilitator" of learning, social development, and innovation, 2) utilizing the potential of cultural heritage buildings and youth communities for more inclusive and dynamic management, 3) developing meaningful learning programs through the dissemination of knowledge and inspiration that encourage creativity and dialogue, and 4) advancing museums to adapt to the challenges of the times and remain relevant and contribute to development. This Policy Brief aims to recommend more inclusive and attractive museum policies so they can become agents of social change, contributing to the instilling of moral values and character building in young people.
