Physical Training of International Students at University: Educational Potential of Teaching Experience

The article updated the issue of new approaches to physical education (also known as Phys Ed) of Russian university students in the context of Internationalization in higher education. The research conducted in the field of defining peculiarities of Russian university's physical education aspects at the current stage of university Internationalization. The research results fall into two types: first, to identify urgent professional development's priorities of the university Phys Ed professor as an instructor as well as a subject of the International teaching and learning interaction; second, to determine current trends of students' Phys Ed in the university global environment, and to distinguish the most productive forms, methods, and means of Phys Ed in the Internationalization process. The research centered on two Universities of the city of Tomsk, Russia. The applied methods were the following: first, interviews and questionnaires, involved observations, and the expert assessment method. The authors offer well-reasoned organizational and educational answers to ensure the successful integration of the physical and International education of Russian university students.

Teenagers' Maladjustment Problem

The review raised the theoretical analysis of the growing mental development problem, egocentrism formation, and methods of its adjustment. The school maladjustment problem in Russia paid attention to the personality formation process of teenagers. In this way, the analysis focused on the personality formation process of teenagers; on the one hand, it was the formation of peculiarities in the egocentrism prevention context in general, and on the other hand, the cognitive activity egocentrism as one of the personality properties. The review emphasized the role of different learning techniques to develop decentration and to reduce egocentrism. The interrelation between personality properties and cognitive processes implied the influence of teenagers' personality egocentrism in speech and thinking rigidity as well as the maladjusted forms of behavior formation. The pedagogical correctional healthcare and school psychological services took into account when figuring out a teenagers' strategy of education and upbringing issues.

Weaning in a Pandemic Situation - A Position Paper

ZusammenfassungDie logistischen und infektiologischen Besonderheiten und Erfordernisse in der Pandemie stellen die intensivmedizinischen Behandlungsteams vor außerordentliche Herausforderungen, die eine erfolgreiche Liberation von Patienten im prolongierten Weaning erschweren können. Gerade in der Pandemie gilt es daher, alle Potenziale zur Beatmungsentwöhnung und Dekanülierung von Patienten im prolongierten Weaning oder in der Langzeitbeatmung auszuschöpfen.Weaning-Zentren stellen Einheiten der intensivmedizinischen Betreuung mit besonderer Spezialisierung auf prolongiertes Weaning dar und sind integraler Bestandteil eines kontinuierlichen Versorgungskonzeptes dieser Patienten. Ein systematisches Weaning-Konzept in der Pandemie setzt strukturelle, personelle, apparative, infektiologische und hygienische Aspekte voraus.Im Mittelpunkt dieses Positionspapiers stehen als Ergänzung zur S2k-Leitlinie „Prolongiertes Weaning“ eine neue Klassifikation im prolongierten Weaning und zukünftig erforderliche Organisationsstrukturen für die Pandemie-Situation.Patienten der Kategorie A mit hohem Weaning-Potenzial bedürfen der strukturierten Respiratorentwöhnung in spezialisierten Weaning-Einheiten, um so die größtmögliche Chance auf erfolgreiches Weaning zu realisieren. Patienten der Kategorie B mit geringem oder aktuell nicht vorhandenem Weaning-Potenzial sollten verzögert nach einer Zwischenphase der weiteren Stabilsierung in einer außerklinischen Beatmungseinrichtung einen Weaning-Versuch erhalten. Patienten der Kategorie C ohne Weaning-Potenzial benötigen eine dauerhafte außerklinische Versorgung, alternativ eine palliativmedizinisch begleitete Beendigung der Beatmung. Die sich aus den 3 Kategorien ergebenden Aufgaben für die Weaning-Zentren werden im Positionspapier vertieft.Schließlich werden unter perspektivischer Betrachtung im Positionspapier folgende zukünftig denkbare Netzwerke und Register benannt: 1. lokal organisierte regionale Netzwerke von zertifizierten Weaning-Zentren, 2. ein zentrales, bundesweites Register der Weaning-Kapazitäten entsprechend dem DIVI-Register und 3. eine Registrierung der Patienten im schwierigen oder prolongierten Weaning.

Cenário da desertificação no território brasileiro e ações de combate à problemática no estado do Ceará, Nordeste do Brasil

A desertificação é um problema de ordem ambiental com repercussões sociais e econômicas. Tal problema é alvo de discussões nos âmbitos científico, acadêmico e institucional, tanto no entendimento conceitual quanto na compreensão das suas causas e consequências, com vistas a ações de mitigação. Nessa conjuntura, o presente trabalho tem por objetivos evidenciar o cenário da desertificação no território brasileiro e realizar um panorama das ações de combate a essa problemática que têm sido executadas no estado do Ceará, Nordeste do Brasil. Para tanto, a pesquisa, quanto ao objetivo, é exploratório-descritiva e possui procedimentos de investigação bibliográfica e documental. O estudo da desertificação no Brasil tem se dado por diversos setores, carecendo, ainda, de incentivos para pesquisas que melhor aprofundem o conhecimento do fenômeno nas áreas vulneráveis, assim como na efetivação de estratégias que consigam frear esse processo. Quanto ao contexto do Ceará, as ações de enfrentamento perpetradas têm conseguido, mesmo que de modo pontual, reverter quadros de degradação ambiental. Tais ações contemplam as dimensões política/institucional, com envolvimento do Estado, dispondo de técnicas e treinamento da população para o enfrentamento do problema; ambiental, mitigando os processos de deterioração natural a partir de intervenções físicas no ambiente; e cultural, orientando a população sobre a necessidade de conservação e convivência com as peculiaridades do semiárido. Destarte, as estratégias de mitigação dos efeitos da desertificação têm alcançado implicações positivas, o que faz necessário sua replicação em outras porções do estado cearense acometido por esse fenômeno.

Эффективный инструментарий управления в социальных сферах: методы и модели расчета цен и тарифов

Цель: статья посвящена вопросам разработки инструментария управления цено- и тарифообразованием в социальных сферах, учитывающего их направленность и необходимость применения нетрадиционных подходов при определении максимально эффективной траектории их развития. Обсуждение: особенности функционирования социальных отраслей не позволяют эффективно использовать для расчета цен и тарифов в них стандартные методы и модели. В связи с этим возникает необходимость разработки инструментария, использование которого на практике позволит производить расчет оптимальных цен и тарифов, в том числе с учетом социального спроса. Результаты: авторами предложен подход к расчету компромиссных цен и тарифов на услуги жилищно-коммунальной отрасли, медицины и сферы пассажирских перевозок, имеющих ярко выраженный социальный характер. Уточнено понятие социального спроса и возможность его учета при расчете цен и тарифов; рассмотрены сценарии его удовлетворения. Предложен подход к подбору оптимального поставщика услуг, базирующийся на методе многокритериального анализа альтернатив TOPSIS.

Особливості правового статусу адвоката в умовах становлення громадського суспільства

Дослідження природи категорії «правовий статус адвоката» показало те, що вона є однією із найбільш фундаментальних й водночас однією із найбільш складних категорій в правознавчій науці. Це пояснюється тим, що, з одного боку, ця категорія отримала широку сферу використання як в юридичній теорії, так і в практичній площині, а з іншого – у сучасній юридичній науці не існує єдиного (універсального) підходу щодо розуміння її сутності. Правовий статус адвоката – це комплексна категорія, яка відображає його правове становище в суспільстві, що характеризується наявністю у адвоката юридично встановленої сукупності прав, обов’язків, гарантій та відповідальності, які є необхідними і достатніми для здійснення адвокатської діяльності щодо надання професійної правничої (правової) допомоги на засадах абсолютної незалежності. Ця категорія акумулює і відтворює всю сукупність взаємовідносин адвоката в суспільстві та відображає не тільки його реальне правове становище, але й формує юридичний базис для професійної діяльності адвоката в ньому. Ця комплексна категорія слугує основою для розмежування правового становища адвоката й інших учасників правовідносин.

Pedagogia ed economa civile per imparare l'umano

Esperienze educative e progettazione pedagogica si misurano con le differenze e le peculiarità del territorio, sono locali. Ma la qualità e la reale incisività dei processi formativi si proiettano oggi in uno scenario inedito, suscitando pressanti interrogativi in chi ha a cuore un’idea di civiltà imperniata sulla ricerca del bene comune. É imprescindibile il riferimento, per quanto approssimato e allusivo, alla pervasività delle trasformazioni politiche e sociali, tecnologiche e sanitarie, educative e religiose che interessano l’intero pianeta. Il dialogo tra economia e pedagogia richiama al compito di rendere lo sviluppo davvero umano ovvero plausibile e adeguato alla pienezza della realizzazione personale e comunitaria, cui abbiamo il dovere di aspirare. Si nasce umani e si deve imparare ad esserlo. L’arena della comunicazione pubblica, l’attività finanziaria e la ricerca scientifica non possono essere arbitrariamente ridotte a misura dei social network o dei sostenitori dell’economia di mercato, per i quali sovente ogni cosa ha il suo prezzo ma nulla ha in realtà valore. Il saggio, alla luce di una visione antropologica pedagogicamente legittimata, accredita l’ipotesi che anche, e in misura considerevole, «dai risultati della ricerca scientifica e dai modelli educativi proposti dipende la possibilità di continuare a garantire il benessere sin qui raggiunto, ampliandone il grado di coinvolgimento dei popoli» (Ornaghi, 2007, p. VII). Tra pedagogia e economia, educazione e politica, fondamentale è pensare il civile, tra dinamiche globali e agire locale. Secondo una prospettiva storica e sistemica (Pasquino, 2020), occorre riconoscere la centralità della dimensione relazionale per la costruzione della cittadinanza democratica, di una economia e di una pedagogia civile.

De notación hispánica a notación aquitana: escribir música en la Iberia medieval

Este artículo se centra en las peculiaridades de las principales muestras de notación musical hispana y aquitana conservadas en los manuscritos litúrgicos peninsulares de los siglos X a mediados del XVI, proponiendo reconsiderar el estado de la cuestión desde el campo de la paleografía musical peninsular. Específicamente, esta aproximación paleográfica se orienta alrededor de los dos cambios principales que marcaron la escritura de música en la Península en el período bajo consideración: la substitución de la notación hispánica tradicional por la notación aquitana a finales del siglo XI, y el cambio gráfico que muestra la notación aquitana por influencia de la escritura gótica. La forma en la que ambos cambios se desarrollaron fue considerablemente desigual; precipitada y rápida en el primer caso, lenta y gradual en el segundo. En esta visión de conjunto, se presentan como ejemplos ilustrativos de notación aquitana fuentes que habían pasado desapercibidas hasta hace poco y que están ahora disponibles para su consulta en la “Portuguese Early Music Database”.

У статті висвітлено актуальність питання використання сучасних форм організації освітнього процесу в закладах дошкільної освіти; встановлено, що освітній процес в умовах закладу дошкільної освіти – це цілісний процес взаємодії дорослих і дітей, який розвивається в часі та просторі в межах певної системи і спрямований на досягнення соціально-значущих результатів − набуттю життєвої компетентності, розвитку базових якостей особистості в різних видах діяльності; доведено, що сучасний освітній процес характеризується інтегративністю, проблемно-ігровою спрямованістю, передбачає пізнавальне спілкування вихователя і дітей, самостійність дітей і особистісно орієнтований підхід педагога; наголошено на доцільності організації освітньої діяльності з дітьми дошкільного віку у формі педагогічного спілкування в колі, різних видів занять, освітніх ситуацій та подорожей, тематичних проєктів, прогулянок, екскурсій, дослідницько-пошукової діяльності, ігор, гурткової роботи, продуктивної праці, самостійної діяльності дітей відповідно до завдань фізичного, соціального, комунікативного, пізнавального та художньо-естетичного розвитку; проаналізовано наукові дослідження стосовно питань застосування сучасних форм організації освітнього процесу в закладах дошкільної освіти; розкрито зміст понять «освітній процес в умовах закладу дошкільної освіти», «форми організації освітнього процесу», «спілкування в колі», «сучасне заняття», «освітня ситуація», «освітня подорож», «проєктна діяльність», «колекціонування», «експериментування», «квест», «геокешинг», «ігри з вільними матеріалами», «гра-стратегія»; охарактеризовано особливості сучасних форм організації освітнього процесу в закладах дошкільної освіти; визначено найбільш використовувані форми організації освітньої діяльності дошкільнят.

Dalla trasmissione alla condivisione: Ripensare il rapporto fra giornalismo e cittadini

Trust in journalistic media has decreased for many years. However, this decline is rarely linked to the transformations of forms of citizenship that characterize citizen participation in public space and a broader process of redefining the relationship between journalism and the public, accelerated by digital communication. The essay analyzes the main reasons for these changes and delineates the characteristics of a new information pact. Journalism delimits the facts, it selects and hierarchizes the events and social phenomena to be brought to the attention of the public opinion. This delimitation takes place on the basis of a negotiation with the sources and the public, progressively less available to rely on the definitions of the situations proposed by the press. The hiatus between the promise of completeness of information and the centrality of the facts and the effective operating modes of journalism is seized by demanding and critical citizens. If they capture limits and partialities in the journalistic mediation, they prefer other readings of society, or to share what is more in line with their vision of the world. However, the peculiarities of digital communication suggest a new informational pact between the journalistic institution and the citizens, in which the dense network of relationships defined between sources, the public and the journalistic system

Gestión y organización de los conservatorios profesionales de música

El incremento en los ultimos anos de la demanda de formacion musical por parte de la ciudadania ha puesto el foco de interes en la eficiencia de los Conservatorios para dar salida a dicho interes, con el afan de comprobar las caracteristicas unicas de este tipo de centros formativos en educacion musical. El objetivo de este estudio se centra en analizar la perspectiva de los directores y los responsables administrativos que supervisan los conservatorios profesionales de musica de titularidad autonomica y municipal para estudiar la gestion y la organizacion de estos centros y las diferencias derivadas de sus correspondientes titularidades. El enfoque del estudio es interpretativo, por medio de una investigacion con metodologia mixta, donde, a nivel cualitativo, se realizan una serie de entrevistas semiestructuradas y, a nivel cuantitativo, se realiza un cuestionario a los directores de centro, estableciendo una serie de variables objeto de analisis. Los resultados revelaron que existen diferencias significativas en la gestion y organizacion de los conservatorios profesionales de musica, pese a que ambos centros siguen la misma normativa legal, concluyendo ademas que tanto el volumen de alumnado que atienden dichos centros como su proyecto de organizacion y gestion esta muy vinculado a la atencion de las numerosas peculiaridades derivadas de una tradicion musical especifica de indole local.

Variação e divergência entre Snappers (Lutjaninae – Perciformes) do Atlântico sul ocidental: região controle mitocondrial para diagnose de pressão pesqueira ou novo Barcode para peixes?

Snappers, como os Lutjanidae são conhecidos, estão amplamente distribuídos ao longo do Atlântico Ocidental, especialmente espécies do gênero Lutjanus, o mais abundante para esta região. Representam importantes recursos pesqueiros, sendo bastante capturados pela pesca comercial. Para a costa do Brasil, Atlântico Sul Ocidental, as espécies mais capturadas são L. purpureus, L. analis, L. synagris, O. chrysurus e o L. vivanus. Este último é comumente capturado em conjunto com o pargo L. purpureus. O objetivo do trabalho foi reunir dados da Região Controle mitocondrial para essas cinco espécies a fim de discutir aspectos da estrutura genética de suas populações e testar sua eficiência como marcador espécie-específico. Analisamos uma região de 390 pb da porção 5’ para 827 snappers, sendo 107 da espécie L. analis, 240 de L. purpureus, 272 de L. synagris, 56 de L. vivanus e 152 de O. chrysurus. Observamos diferentes níveis de diversidade genética para as cinco espécies, além do intenso compartilhamento de haplótipos em cada uma, sugerindo ampla conectividade genética para a costa do Brasil. Acreditamos que os diferentes padrões de variação observados estão relacionados a história evolutiva das espécies, aliados as peculiaridades bioecológicas de cada uma, sendo um produto de eventos históricos. Por isso, acreditamos que a RC é bastante adequada para a detecção de perda de diversidade resultante de gargalos populacionais históricos, não sendo adequada para a diagnose de sobrepesca. Além disso, comprovamos sua utilidade como marcador espécie-específico, representando uma nova possibilidade de Barcode para Lutjanidae.

MULTILEVEL BLENDED LEARNING MODEL OF TEACHING RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE IN HIGHER SCHOOL

Purpose of the study: The paper’s objective is to identify and test the possibilities of teaching Russian as a foreign language in a university in the format of blended learning. Methodology: This study used a variety of methods of scientific and pedagogical research: systematic structural analysis, synthesis, work with research papers, the generalization of experience and experimental work, observation, etc. The study took place in Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. Russian as a foreign language blended course was designed and introduced into the educational process. To analyse the success of the proposed model online surveys, linguistic tests, and individual face-to-face interviews were conducted. Main Findings: Russian as a foreign language blended learning model is a powerful tool to influence language learners and help them to achieve better results. It allows adapting the traditional learning process to the individual characteristics of students; to improve the operations of comprehension, application, and analysis when dealing with new educational material; to make the learning process more flexible and to use meaningful communicative activities instead of drills. Applications of this study: The material of the study can be useful for university Russian as foreign language teachers and students and a wide range of readers interested in a new developing and innovative way of foreign language learning in a higher educational institution. Novelty: The issues of Russian as a foreign language blended learning and teaching have not been studied enough. In this paper, we designed a multilevel blended learning model of teaching Russian as a foreign language in higher school. We introduced it into the educational process taking into account the practice and peculiarities of teaching Russian as a foreign language.

Aspectos gerais das técnicas laboratoriais para o diagnóstico da COVID-19

O SARS-CoV-2 é um novo vírus de origem desconhecida que surgiu na China em dezembro de 2019. A realização do diagnóstico é complexa e envolve a necessidade de compreensão quanto aos tipos de testes e suas peculiaridades. Há dois testes diagnósticos disponíveis no momento: o molecular e o imunológico (também chamado sorológico). Cada um possui as suas características específicas. Diante desse contexto, o presente trabalho teve como objetivo descrever os aspectos gerais das técnicas empregadas no diagnóstico da COVID-19. Trata-se de um estudo de revisão bibliográfica de cunho descritivo e com abordagem quantitativa nas bases de dados do Scielo, Lilacs, Google Acadêmico e através do Portal de Pesquisa da Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS). A sensibilidade dos testes para detecção de anticorpos por diferentes técnicas variou entre 81,5% e 88,6%, e a especificidade variou entre 90,6% e 100%. Estudos avaliando a sensibilidade do RT-PCR em relação a critérios diagnósticos identificaram sensibilidade de 44,2% para amostras coletadas por swab de orofaringe e 76,9% quando a amostra utilizada foi o escarro. A avaliação da acurácia diagnóstica de testes de amplificação de partículas virais aplicados na modalidade point-of-care evidenciou sensibilidade de 90% e especificidade de 100%, em relação ao RT-PCR. Os testes sorológicos, parecem apresentar boa sensibilidade e especificidade, quando aplicados em fase mais tardia da infecção. Em fases precoces da infecção, apresentam alta taxa de resultados falsos negativos. Entretanto, até à presente data é indicado a realização do teste de RT-PCR para o diagnóstico definitivo da COVID-19.

Dry eye disease treatment: the role of tear substitutes, their future, and an updated classification.

The aim of this review is to summarize the results of a consensus meeting held by a group of experts in dry eye disease (DED) to discuss the importance of tear substitutes in the treatment of DED. The meeting focused especially on the main characteristics of lacrimal substitutes, the development of in vitro models to investigate DED pathophysiology and treatment, the importance of conducting rigorous clinical trials, the requirements of the upcoming European Legislation on medical devices, the advances in the formulation of safer preservatives, the peculiarities of treatment in younger subjects, and the importance of an updated terminology for lacrimal substitutes. A literature search was conducted using MEDLINE, with different combinations of pertinent keywords, depending on the subject under discussion, such as "dry eye disease"; "tear substitutes"; "in vitro models"; "ocular surface"; "clinical trials"; "European Regulation"; "preservatives" "younger patients". Also, each author included in the discussion selected articles from their personal library. Using a consensus-based method called nominal group technique to reach a conclusion and proposal for a new classification of eye drops used to improve the tear film and ocular surface epithelia, the experts also conducted a round table meeting. The new terms proposed by the authors are "wetting agents", "multiple-action tear substitutes" or "ocular surface modulators". The new classification is needed to distinguish eye drops used to improve the tear film and ocular surface epithelia, in line with the new definition of DED, which recognizes the loss of ocular homeostasis, and the creation of a vicious circle of chronic inflammation and ocular damage as fundamental aspects of DED pathophysiology. Although tear substitutes have been historically used to provide eye lubrication to the ocular surface, recent advances in the pathophysiology of dry eye disease (DED) clarified that treatment should not just focus on tear film quality or quantity, but address the loss of homeostasis of the ocular surface, blocking the vicious circle of chronic inflammation and ocular damage. Given the scant comparative evidence on tear substitutes currently on the market, further studies should focus on developing new agents, considering the advantages provided by in vitro models, importance of conducting rigorous clinical trials, availability of less harmful preservatives and obligations related to the new European legislation on medical devices. Based on the discussion of these topics, a group of experts held a consensus meeting to identify new and more appropriate terms for different tear substitutes. The proposed terms are wetting agents, multiple-action tear substitutes and ocular surface modulators. Regardless of the agent used, it is important to note that tear substitutes represent one of many options for DED treatment, which should not overlook the psychological aspects of the disease and the peculiarities of younger subjects, who seem to have a higher risk for DED, possibly related to digital devices excessive use.

Homeless persons and migrants in precarious housing conditions and COVID-19 pandemic: peculiarities and prevention strategies.

Homeless persons and migrants in precarious housing conditions are vulnerable populations that have been peculiarly impacted by the Coronavirus Disease 19 (COVID-19) pandemic. These populations are more at risk of contracting COVID-19 as they often find it difficult to adhere to public health directives and, if exposed, may be more susceptible to illness or death due to the higher prevalence of underlying physical and mental comorbidities compared to the general population. In addition, vulnerable populations may have limited access to essential diagnostics and treatments, thus leading to untreated COVID-19 cases and their development into more severe forms. Health, social and government agencies should collaborate to develop services that support these communities, in accordance with the World Health Organization principles. Migrant and homeless centers have a central role, as they provide a significant contribution to prevent infection spread and favor access to early medical treatment to those affected, thus preventing more severe forms of infection.

Juegos cooperativos en la convivencia escolar, un estudio descriptivo

El artículo tiene como objetivo analizar la incidencia de los juegos cooperativos en la convivencia escolar. Se realizó un análisis de contexto en el ámbito escolar objeto de estudio, que permitiera identificar las interacciones entre los diferentes actores de la institución educativa, en relación con la convivencia y los mecanismos de adaptación a estas prácticas asociadas a las disfuncionalidades de convivencia. La información se obtuvo mediante entrevistas y grupos focales a estudiantes y docentes de una institución educativa oficial del departamento del Valle, Colombia, respecto a las estrategias que ha implementado la institución con el fin de fomentar la sana convivencia, resolución asertiva de conflictos, cultura de la democracia, así como una axiología que propicie la cohesión entre sujetos. El componente empírico se aborda desde la clase de educación física, implementando los juegos cooperativos como estrategia didáctica para evaluar su efecto en las principales problemáticas que afectan el buen convivir escolar. La metodología es de naturaleza cualitativa, con análisis de las situaciones analizadas tanto en el diagnóstico, como en la implementación de la secuencia didáctica. Los resultados permiten comparar el estado inicial y el final, respecto a las conductas asertivas o disfuncionales de convivencia escolar. Se concluye en que los juegos cooperativos contribuyen al desarrollo de competencias para evidenciar habilidades y virtudes en la búsqueda del bien común
