ABSTRACT: The BRS Capiaçu Grass (Pennisetum purpureum) belongs to the Poaceae family, it is a grass that has dense clumps and erect stalks and resistance to lodging and ease of mechanical harvesting. Its cycle, with high growth reaches up to four annual cuts, the cultivar is demanding in relation to soil conditions, requiring good preparation, with fertilizers, fertilization, deep and drained soils. The objective of the study focuses on the analysis of the BRS Capiaçu Cultivar at different dosages of organic fertilization (cattle manure). Among them, which dosage of organic fertilizer results in higher productivity of the cultivar. Tillering was evaluated by means of aerial tiller numbers, stem and plant height, stem diameter, green mass yield and root size. After cutting the stalks into 18cm, planting was carried out together with the dosages of tanned manure in an area of 6 m x 5 m, totaling 30 square meters. In the area, 5 rows were made with 4 pits 1 meter apart from each other, 20 cm deep and bordering 1m, totaling 20 pits. The best results were found in treatment 2 with a higher yield of the cultivar BRS Capiaçu.
