The research titled (Cultural Systems in the Productions of Pioneering Iraqi Female Potters), which contained four chapters, dealt with the research. The first chapter focused on the methodological framework of the research and the research problem, which ended with a question about the systemic vision of the Iraqi academic female potters and the reflection of that vision in their artistic productions. The first chapter contained: The goal of the research is: (to know the systemic vision of Iraqi academic potters and its reflections in their artistic productions). The limits of the research were: The objective limit: cultural patterns in the products of pioneering Iraqi female potters - Time limit: the works of pioneering Iraqi female potters from (2003-2023( - Spatial limit: Iraq The second chapter (theoretical framework) consisted of three sections. The first section dealt with (formats and their frameworks in plastic art), the second section (philosophical trends in feminist plastic arts), and the third section (Iraqi feminist plastic art( The third chapter (research procedures), which included the research community consisting of (30) artistic works, its sample, the research methodology, the research tool, and the analysis of samples amounting to (3) ceramic works by pioneering Iraqi female potters. Chapter Four (Results and Conclusions) included the research results, conclusions, recommendations and proposals. The researcher reached a number of results, including: The cultural patterns in the contemporary ceramic work of the pioneering female ceramic artists in Iraq relied on their knowledge of analyzing cultural references and their reflection in their products. The cultural pattern of the pioneering potters was influenced by all modern artistic trends, and their relational connection with the apparent form of the ceramic work on the one hand, and with the abstract geometric aspect on the other hand. The researcher reached a number of conclusions, including: The pioneering potter intends to show her personal emotional energies towards those she meets in her daily and societal life through artistic ceramic achievements. The pioneering potters’ use of the Islamic and ancient heritage, through color painting or the use of Arabic calligraphy.

Modern approaches for abdominoplasty

The authors consider modern trends in abdominoplasty aimed at improving aesthetic outcomes with simultaneous minimizing scars in abdominal contouring. One of the important trends includes a minimally invasive approach with minimal incisions and scars. Liposuction has become a safe and widespread method. The last one is used in abdominoplasty not only to achieve a flatter abdomen, but also to improve contours while maintaining natural appearance of umbilicus and sculpting muscle relief. Endoscopic techniques are attracting more and more attention. They allow not only to eliminate diastasis recti and abdominal wall hernia, but also to correct concomitant abdominal pathologies. For example, removal of gallbladder during abdominoplasty has obvious advantages for patients with gallstones. Additional research is needed to study the feasibility of these trends and optimize surgical protocols.

The prognostication of need in IT-specialists in health care

In conditions of global digitization of health care, characterized by widespread implementation of information technologies into medical practice, the problem of prognostication of need for qualified IT specialists capable to ensure effective functioning and development of digital infrastructure of health care becomes especially relevant. The article considers modern trends in health care development, emphasizing increased role of IT specialists in providing high-quality and efficient medical care, and also analyzes main areas of activity of IT specialists in health care. The analysis demonstrated that, despite active development of digital health care in Russia, the country to a certain extent lags behind leaders in this field in terms of saturation of health care with qualified IT specialists. The study presents prognostication of need in IT specialists in health care in 2025-2026, characterized by dominance of software developers, as well as increasing of need for data analysts, cybersecurity specialists and DevOps engineers. To meet increasing need for IT specialists in health care in Russia, it is necessary to improve education system, to develop professional retraining programs and to organize favorable conditions for work of IT specialists in health care, including competitive salaries and opportunities for professional growth.

The modern trends in personnel training for health care in the Allied State of Russia and Belarus

The article analyses current trends in training of young specialists carried out by higher and secondary vocational educational institutions in the Union State of Russia and Belarus today. The study permitted to substantiate existing problems in health care related to staffing and high turnover of personnel. This situation determines special significance of staffing for health care system, especially in the light of development of digitization. The on-line surveys of students in Google docs concerning their attitudes towards prospect of their further participation in RD during and after graduation were carried out. The surveys included questions concerning assessment of quality of digital technology adoption that permitted to identify most attractive areas of digital medicine development for respondents. The particular trends related to training of health care personnel in the Union State of Russia and Belarus were revealed, including increase in the number of medical graduates in the Russian Federation, while in Belarus this indicator is decreasing. In addition, the preferred areas of realization of their professional potential by medical students with knowledge of digital technologies in health care were identified.

Functionalization of Chocolate: Current Trends and Approaches to Health-Oriented Nutrition

Expanding the range of healthy food products is one of the most promising areas in the field of food science. In recent years, there has been an active development of the global trend of functional nutrition aimed at strengthening general health, as well as preventing common non-communicable diseases and metabolic disorders. Chocolate, occupying a leading position among confectionery products, continues to demonstrate a steady growth in consumption on a global scale, which is due to its unique taste and sensory and functional properties. Modern trends in the food industry are aimed at further improving the composition and properties of chocolate, which makes it a promising object for scientific research and innovative developments. This review is devoted to the systematization and study of modern research aimed at developing functional types of chocolate that meet the principles of healthy nutrition. The paper considers the potential of bioactive components, such as polyphenols, probiotics, prebiotic components, dietary fiber, polyunsaturated fatty acids, and plant extracts, for use in the functionalization of chocolate. These compounds have pronounced antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and cardioprotective properties. Particular attention is paid to the role of bioactive components of cocoa and chocolate in the prevention of chronic non-communicable diseases, strengthening the cardiovascular system, improving cognitive functions, and normalizing the composition of intestinal microbiota. In addition, promising areas in the field of production technologies and innovative solutions aimed at creating functional types of chocolate with improved consumer properties are considered. The relevance of these developments is due to the growing demand for food products that combine high taste qualities and functionality, which opens up new opportunities for health-oriented nutrition.

Верификация данных дистанционного зондирования Земли с целью определения надземной фитомассы насаждений в Воронежской области

The development of Earth remote sensing methods, neural network technologies, creation of machine learning models, etc. will allow developing new algorithms, indicators and criteria that will significantly increase the efficiency of forest monitoring and help reduce financial costs. The basis for the work was the verification of ultra-high- and high-resolution satellite imagery data based on in-situ survey materials conducted on permanent test plots in the Voronezh region. The generated elements of training samples using a neural network classifier allow for automated, highly accu-rate determination of forest stand taxation indicators based on remote sensing data. When verifying the amount of aboveground phytomass calculated based on remote sensing data and in-situ survey materials, significant similarity of the presented results was revealed. In 67% of cases, the average phytomass values determined by different methods did not differ significantly from each other (at a significance level of p<0.05). Reliable differences were found in decid-uous stands with high horizontal canopy density, the presence of a second tier and abundant understory vegetation. As a result of the work, a theoretical basis was laid for further research in conducting remote monitoring in the field of for-est conservation, protection and reproduction. The material of the work is useful in building multidisciplinary practical work in the areas of restoration of biological diversity of phytocenoses, as well as ensuring the integrity and ecological stability of forests, under modern trends in carbon cycles and climate changes.

A Thematic Analysis on Emerging Trends in Marketing Management: A Conceptual Perspective

Abstract: The thematic analysis adopted in this paper is a method that examines the evolving nature of marketing management field conceptually. Basic marketing principles has remained essential but the need for digital technological adoption coupled with artificial intelligence and human focused methods and moral standards has brought dynamics in marketing. This paper highlights several modern trends in marketing management which includes customization for customers together with digital changes and eco- friendly progressions and innovative patterns of practices. The research used theoretical frameworks for evaluation because it has revealed the exact operational hindrances and focus on current modern strategic development opportunities. In this paper is also highlighted that organizations must implement agile principles alongside data driven decisions and a compressive understanding of customer experiences for sustainable market competition. Recommendations in the analysis includes direct practitioners to adapt their marketing methods or processes to contemporary marketplace needs together with suggestions for researchers to continue with their studies into new fields of study in the marketing management perspectives.

Optimizing MongoDB Schemas for High-Performance MEAN Applications

MongoDB, a document-oriented NoSQL database, is crucial in modern web applications, particularly in the MEAN (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js) stack. The challenge with optimizing MongoDB schemas exists because of the no-schema database design approach combined with changing workload requirements. This article investigates the optimal approaches to creating and optimizing MongoDB schema designs. It focuses on normalization and denormalization decisions using shard and replication systems with workload-related optimizations and scale-up capabilities. The article evaluates modern AI schema optimization trends and computerized performance optimization that dramatically boosts operational efficiency across extensive applications. MEAN applications will obtain superior scalability, reduced query delays, and enhanced system performance through these implementation methods. When merged with reliable data protection and schema longevity, the article will provide organizations with a complete mold to optimize MongoDB schemas for peak operational efficiency.

Chronic prurigo: current insights and future directions

Chronic prurigo (CPG), particularly prurigo nodularis, is a highly burdensome skin disease that is characterized by the presence of chronic pruritus and hyperkeratotic, pruriginous papules and nodules. CPG demands accurate diagnostic and individualized therapeutic strategies. Clinically, CPG is primarily diagnosed through physical examination, assessing the quantity and severity by using validated tools like the Prurigo Activity and Severity score and the Investigator’s Global Assessment. Further diagnosis includes an assessment of the lesion type, underlying causes, comorbidities, and potential systemic issues through additional radiological diagnostics. Therapeutically, CPG requires a multimodal strategy that is tailored to patient-specific, individual factors. Besides therapy, options like topical treatments and phototherapy and systemic therapies like small molecules and biologics offer significant clinical improvements. Currently, dupilumab is the only Food and Drug Administration and europäische arzneimittelagentur-approved systemic treatment for adult chronic nodular prurigo patients. Emerging therapies include monoclonal antibodies like nemolizumab and vixarelimab and Janus Kinase inhibitors like ruxolitinib and tofacitinib, showing promising results in clinical trials enhancing the quality of life for affected patients. This review aims to highlight that ongoing research is focused on expanding the range of validated diagnostic tools and the spectrum of approved therapy options and discuss historical and modern research trends.

Problems of classification, safety assessment and risk management of medical devices with biologically active substances

The aim of the work was to investigate scientific and technical approaches for ensuring biological safety and classifying medical devices containing biologically active substances in the context of new international standards and regulatory requirements. Materials and methods. The study includes an analysis of the current regulatory landscape, including Regulation (EU) 2017/745, international standards ISO 10993, and guidance documents from the Medical Device Coordination Group (MDCG). Classification specificities of medical devices containing biologically active substances were examined, taking into account their mechanism of action. Approaches to biocompatibility assessment and systemic risk analysis were reviewed using the Weight of Evidence (WoE) concept. Results. Key differences between the classification of medical devices under Directive 93/42/EEC and Regulation (EU) 2017/745 were analysed. The study identified specific aspects of biocompatibility assessment for medical devices containing biologically active substances, as well as challenges related to the standardisation of their physicochemical characteristics. Examples were provided to distinguish between medicinal products and medical devices based on their mechanism of action. The implementation of modern methods for assessing medical devices' safety and regulatory status was also examined. Conclusions. The new regulatory requirements, in particular the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2017/745, significantly impact the classification and biological safety assessment of medical devices containing biologically active substances. An adaptation of the biocompatibility assessment methods was proposed, considering modern trends and the "Weight of Evidence" approach. The study highlights the need to update Ukraine's national regulatory framework to align with European standards and to introduce clearer methodological approaches to differentiate between medicinal products and medical devices

CURRENT TRENDS IN BANKING ACTIVITIES IN THE EU: ASSESSMENT OF FACTORS IMPACTING PROFITABILITY

The article examines current trends in banking activities within EU countries and their long-term impact on the banking sector. It focuses on the role of banks in the economic development of the EU at the present stage. The authors highlight the contribution of banks to economic growth through the mobilization and redistribution of financial resources. The study emphasizes that ensuring the stability and efficiency of the banking system in the EU is achieved through the harmonization and joint regulation of the financial market, which is a cornerstone of the European integration process. The identified modern trends in banking activities within the EU include: continuous improvement of the regulatory mechanism in the European Union; transformational and modernization processes in EU banking, aligning with global economic trends; and the development of online and digital banking. The authors conclude that the current stage of banking development involves a shift in banking technologies, the introduction of innovations, and changes in market behaviour models. Econometric modelling was conducted to assess the impact of factors on profitability levels. The most significant factors influencing the profitability of EU banks were identified as consolidated banking leverage and the growth rate of real GDP. The findings indicate a gradual decrease in profitability in the short term, with prospects for growth in the future. The model underwent all validation stages and demonstrated high predictive quality.The object of the study is banking activities in EU countries and their influence on European economic development.The subject of the study encompasses the theoretical and practical aspects of banking development in EU countries, modern banking trends, and future prospects.

CONTEMPORARY HEALTH: NAVIGATING MODERN CHALLENGES AND INNOVATIONS IN GLOBAL HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS

Contemporary health refers to the dynamic intersection of modern medicine, technological innovations, global health challenges, and the evolving understanding of well-being. The rapid pace of scientific discovery, coupled with significant sociopolitical and environmental changes, has reshaped the global healthcare landscape. This article examines the modern trends influencing health systems worldwide, focusing on digital health, mental health awareness, healthcare access disparities, and the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in patient care. The article explores the impact of these factors on public health outcomes, quality of life, and policymaking. As contemporary health challenges continue to evolve, a multidisciplinary approach involving technology, policy reforms, and global collaboration is essential. The role of emerging trends such as telemedicine, AI-driven diagnostics, and mental health prioritization are discussed in depth. This study draws on recent literature to assess the success of various interventions and highlights areas where improvements can be made. ФОРМУВАННЯ SOFT SKILLS У ЗДОБУВАЧІВ ВИЩОЇ ОСВІТИ У ПРОЦЕСІ МОВНОЇ ПІДГОТОВКИ

Introduction. Modern reality requires a specialist to possess a number of competitive skills and abilities, which are determined not only by a set of theoretical knowledge, but also by such qualities of the future professional's personality that allow him to easily reorient and adapt to rapidly changing conditions, to find non-standard, creative ways to solve problems. Such characteristics, using the terms of foreign pedagogy, are called "soft skills" - flexible or soft skills. Today, the demand for creative teachers who are ready to respond to changing conditions in a non-standard and flexible way and creatively solve professional pedagogical tasks is increasing. In view of this, the problem of professional training of a future teacher is considered in the context of the correlation of goals and tasks with types of work activity and skills presented in state regulatory documents. In the context of the development of modern trends in general education and the active search for innovative student-centered school models, a new image of a teacher is being formed - a consultant, educator, project manager, communicator, researcher, innovator. Purpose. To clarify the meaning of the concept of "flexible skills", to analyze the component composition of the modern specialist’s universal skills, and to determine the methods and technologies of teaching the Ukrainian professionally oriented language in order to effectively forming students’ soft skills. Methods. The following methods were used in the research: analysis sources to find out the state of problem development; a descriptive method, which combines observation, interpretation and generalization of scientific and methodological material. Results. The study found that soft skills are a complex universal phenomenon that includes such skills as effective communication, creative thinking, leadership qualities, problem solving, teamwork, self-control, adaptation to environmental changes, emotional intelligence, etc. The skills under study are called “flexible” because, firstly, they are universal, that is, they depend on the sphere and subject of activity. Secondly, they are dynamic, that is, they can and should be improved over time, as well as depending on the situation and context. Thirdly, these skills are important not only for successful professional activity, but also for adaptation in society. These skills help a person to understand himself and others better, to build constructive relationships, and to carry out his professional and personal tasks successfully. The article identifies the components of a modern specialist’s universal skills that are most in demand in a teacher professional sphere: communicative skills (the ability to establish contact and conduct a dialogue in various communication situations; to argue one's opinion orally and in written form, to formulate and present ideas; to logically build one's opinion using language means, to draw conclusions from a conversation), cognitive skills (related to adequate perception and understanding of oneself and other people; to organization and effective implementation of independent work; to perception and knowledge of the surrounding reality; to organization and effective implementation of independent learning activities), social skills (the ability to work in a team, to communicate ethically with all participants in the process in accordance with ethical standards, the ability to establish relationships within the team, to manage conflicts, to find a way out of extreme situations), research skills (creative search, broad outlook, the ability to find information and resources to solve specific tasks), self-organization skills (the ability to plan time and resources, to learn, stress resistance, adaptability), management skills (the ability to make decisions and take responsibility for them, as well as the ability to analyze and predict results). The article describes the methods and technologies of teaching Ukrainian professionally oriented language in order to effectively form soft skills in students. Originality. The content of the concept of “flexible skills” is clarified and scientifically substantiated; the component composition of flexible skills necessary for a future primary school teacher is determined; didactic material based on a gradual increase in difficulty is proposed, which allows to effectively form the students’ orthoepic and speech (communicative) skills; technologies for teaching the Ukrainian language (for professional purposes) are developed, various types of exercises and tasks for the development of flexible skills are identified and described. Conclusion. Thus, flexible skills are a construct of socio-psychological skills, which are professional skills that can ensure success not only in the professional sphere but also in life. The analysis of the pedagogical experience of using various teaching methods allowed us to identify the most effective methods of teaching the Ukrainian language for professional purposes that contribute to the formation of flexible skills: project activities, role-playing, and problem-solving situations. We see prospects for further research in the development of technologies for improving flexible skills in the classes of the course "Ukrainian (for professional purposes)"

CHALLENGES AND PROSPECTS OF IMPLEMENTING AUTOMATED SYSTEMS IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

In the context of rapid technological advancements and increasing demands for enhanced efficiency, quality, and safety in construction, the implementation of robotics and automation on construction sites has become a promising direction. The use of robots and automated systems enables a wide range of tasks, from preparing the foundation for construction to assembling structural elements, thereby opening new horizons for the development of residential and industrial complexes, optimizing production processes, and significantly reducing time costs. Automation minimizes the impact of the human factor, which is one of the key causes of errors in construction [1]. Utilizing robots enhances the accuracy of tasks outlined in the plan while ensuring compliance with modern regulatory standards. This research focuses on analyzing the key prospects, challenges, and technological solutions associated with the implementation of automated systems in the construction industry. It explores innovative approaches to automation, the impact of emerging technologies on construction activities, and the potential use of autonomous systems in the development of residential complexes. The proposed conclusions demonstrate that integrating automated systems is not only an effective tool for optimizing time and resource expenditures but also a powerful driver of sustainable development in the construction industry. Moreover, implementing automated solutions at the state level allows not only keeping up with modern trends but also establishing new standards of efficiency, quality, and safety in construction.

Interactivity and Immersion of Modern Cultural Practices: The Museum Audience as a Co-Author

The purpose of the article is to characterise modern trends in the cultural sphere related to the interactivity and immersion of the audience’s experience, in particular the museum audience, thanks to which it turns into an active co-participant in the creation of the museum space. The research methodology is characterised by multidisciplinary nature, which involves a combination of various methods and approaches, in particular those drawn from cultural studies, museology, and social communications. The scientific novelty lies in drawing attention to the study of the interactivity and immersion of modern culture, which influences the formation of a culture of participation. Conclusions. Interactivity and immersion are radically changing modern cultural practices, making the audience (user / spectator / visitor / consumer) not only a consumer, but also an active co-creator of the cultural and artistic space. In general, this corresponds to the activation of the tendency to form participation (complicity, culture of participation) in the space of modern culture. First of all, this phenomenon is due to the development of digital technologies (interactive exhibitions, digital platforms, mobile applications, immersive applications of virtual and augmented reality), which, in fact, make interactive-immersive interaction possible. Among other factors, one can single out the growth of social interaction in cultural and artistic spaces and changes in approaches to all socio-cultural activities. Not only the use of modern technologies contributes to the involvement of the audience in museum life and its transformation into an active co-author in the creation of the museum space. More attention should be paid to museum crowdsourcing content, cooperation with the community, local artists, volunteers, educators, businesspersons, and the formation of communities around the museum, in which new ideas for the development of museums can be generated. The trend towards interactivity and visitor participation in creating the museum experience opens up new horizons for the development of museum work, making it more dynamic, inclusive and focused on dialogue, consensus and cooperation with the public.

CRIMINAL POLICY IN THE SPHERE OF LIABILITY FOR TAX EVASION: STATUS, TRENDS, PROSPECTS

The approaches of the legislator to the issues of criminal liability for tax evasion over the past decades are analyzed, modern trends in the development of criminal law in this part are determined. A conclusion is made about the need to adjust a number of areas of the relevant criminal policy based on modern challenges to the country's financial security and the realities of the socio-economic situation. The relevant proposals are accompanied by initiatives to change some provisions of regulatory legal acts.

Social governance mechanisms in China under the impact of globalization

The article is devoted to the consideration of the evolution of social governance in China in the context of globalization, starting from the pre-reform period and ending with the modern stage. To achieve this goal, the tasks are solved, consisting in the analysis of scientific and educational literature on the transformation of social security mechanisms, the influence of globalization on social policy, as well as the role of socio-cultural factors in the formation of the social governance system. It is emphasized that the literature pays attention to both traditional aspects of Chinese society, such as collectivism, hierarchy and family ties, and modern trends related to the development of civil society, volunteerism and patriotism. The authors believe that the most promising direction of research is the study of the influence of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China on the improvement of the social governance system, including the concept of unification of power and an emphasis on the rule of law. The article analyzes examples of specific social mechanisms, such as reforms in the field of health care, education, pensions and unemployment benefits. Particular attention is paid to the transition from the model of social control to social governance based on democracy, the rule of law and pluralistic cooperation between the state and society. The authors conclude that social governance in China in the context of globalization is aimed at creating a harmonious and prosperous society where every citizen can realize his or her potential, and the state ensures stability and development based on the principles of democracy and the rule of law. In conclusion, the importance of further studying socio-cultural factors and adapting the social governance system to new challenges and conditions of globalization is emphasized in order to ensure long-term stability and development of Chinese society.

The Role of Corpus Linguistics in Contemporary Linguistics Research and Translation Studies

The article presents a systematic review of research papers on corpus linguistics as an innovative direction in empirical linguistics. It reveals the theoretical and methodological foundations of the field, defines the specifics of corpus linguistics in comparison with computational linguistics, and highlights modern trends in corpus research as well as the advantages of employing textual corpus data in linguistic studies. It is noted that the corpus method and its resources are actively used in various linguistic researches into many world languages today; that language corpora are differentiated by volume, type, structure, content, purpose, etc. The article provides an overview of such corpora as the British National Corpus (BNC), the American National Corpus (ANC), the Corpus of Contemporary American English (COCA), the Russian National Corpus (RNC), and the Modern Chinese Language Corpus created in the Center for Chinese Linguistics at Beijing University, the Balanced Corpus of the Chinese Language. The specifics of parallel and comparative corpora are noted, including the Child Language Data Exchange System (CHILDES), the International Comparable Corpus (ICC), and the Corpus of English Wikipedia (CEW). The differences between parallel and comparative corpora are also outlined. Prospects for national corpora development lie in new research into almost every area of applied and theoretical linguistics, as well as in scrutiny and further development of translation theory and practice. The characteristics of monolingual, comparative, and parallel corpora are highlighted in the context of their role in linguistic research. It is mentioned that, in addition to parallel corpora, translators' tools also include monolingual corpora, which provide additional material on the subject of translation and enhance the translator's background knowledge.

Characteristics of fibroid nodes in dynamics when using multiphasic and monophasic combined hormonal contraceptives

BACKGROUND: The increasing prevalence of uterine fibroids at the age of 20–35 years and late fertility intentions are modern trends in women’s lives. Combined hormonal contraceptives level out cyclic fluctuations of sex steroids in the natural menstrual cycle; can be used by patients with fibroid nodes for contraception; and have a protective effect on uterine fibroids. The literature does not provide comparative data on the use of multi- and monophasic combined hormonal contraceptives with ethinyl estradiol by patients with uterine fibroids. AIM: The aim of this study was to assess the characteristics of fibroid nodes in dynamics in women using multiphasic and monophasic combined hormonal contraceptives. MATERIALS AND METHODS: This study included 554 women. Prospective part of the research involved 118 patients with uterine fibroids without indications for surgical treatment: 54 patients used multiphasic (ethinyl estradiol and desogestrel) and monophasic (ethinyl estradiol and various gestagens) combined hormonal contraceptives, and 64 patients did not. Who underwent pelvic ultrasound examination three times over 12 months. Retrospective part of the research included analysis of in-person instrumental-clinical-anamnestic data obtained from 436 women (45 patients with fibroid nodes and 391 healthy individuals). Out of the 391 healthy participants, 297 ones used various combined hormonal contraceptives with ethinyl estradiol for 1–30 years, while the other 94 did not. RESULTS: In women with uterine fibroids using various combined hormonal contraceptives with ethinyl estradiol (n = 94), no changes in the sizes of classification of International Federation of Gynaecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) types 3 to 6 fibroid nodes were observed (n = 124; 21.7 ± 2.8 vs. 21.5 ± 3.2 mm; p 0.05). In patients with FIGO type 4 fibroid nodes using multiphasic combined hormonal contraceptives (n = 20), a decrease in the size of the nodes was registered after 12 months (n = 14; 15.7 ± 3.4 vs. 14.1 ± 2.7 mm; p 0.05). In 17 (5.7%) healthy participants using combined hormonal contraceptives and in 15 (16.0%) patients without fibroid nodes who did not use these drugs, uterine fibroids were first diagnosed in the reproductive period. CONCLUSIONS: The use of various combined hormonal contraceptives by patients with uterine fibroids did not lead to an increase in the size of FIGO types 3 to 6 fibroid nodes with an initial diameter of up to 22 mm. After 12 months, we noted a decrease in the size of F4 type fibroid nodes with an initial diameter of up to 16 mm for the women with uterine fibroids, who took multiphasic combined hormonal contraceptives. In women of reproductive age who used combined hormonal contraceptives for 1–30 years, uterine fibroids were first diagnosed 2.8 times less often than in patients who did not use these drugs.
