Development Of Strategy Map And Measuring Corporate Performance With Sustainability Balanced Scorecard Approach (Case Study On Renewable Energy Consultant Services Company Pt Xyz)

This study aims to develop a Strategy Map of PT XYZ based on the company's vision, mission, strategic goals and analyze the company's performance as measured using the Sustainability Balanced Scorecard (SBSC) method. The research method used is qualitative, which involves conducting in-depth interviews and analyzing company documents. According to the research results, the PT XYZ Strategy Map consists of a vision, mission, 17 company strategic goals and 34 measurement indicators. The company performance of PT XYZ in 2021 and 2022, measured by the 5 SBSC perspectives can be indicated as sufficient performance, which obtained a total scorecard of 0. Based on 34 measurement indicators, 13 obtained a good assessment, 13 obtained a poor assessment, 3 obtained a sufficient assessment, and 5 could not be calculated because the company did not have related numerical documents. In the future, PT XYZ needs to increase its efforts to improve company performance and improve company data management so that it is easier to identify the company's achievements or performance to a measurable extent. Further, PT XYZ needs to integrate sustainability goals that become the company's vision into the company's business strategy, one of which is using SBSC as a company performance measurement tool. In addition, PT XYZ needs to integrate its vision of contributing to sustainability development into the company's business strategy, one of which is the use of SBSC as a corporate performance measurement tool.

Financial Performance Measurement of Companies in the BIST Sustainability 25 Index with LBWA and MEREC-based CRADIS Methods

Abstract Financial performance refers to the assessment of a firm’s capacity to generate profits and manage its financial assets effectively during a specific period of time. This study addresses the evaluation of financial performance of companies in the BIST Sustainability 25 Index using a hybrid MCDM method. For this investigation, nine criteria, namely, acid-test ratio, asset turnover, current ratio, debt ratio, EBITDA, net profit margin, return on equity, stock return and stock turnover are used to determine the financial performance of companies. In this study, the weight of criteria is calculated using both subjective (LBWA) and objective (MEREC) weighting approaches. After the weight of criteria is determined, the financial performance of companies is ranked using the CRADIS method. The results showed that EBITDA and Stock turnover are the most and least important criteria, respectively. According to results obtained from the CRADIS method, Ereğli Iron-Steel, Enka construction and Ford Otosan have the highest financial performance, while Vestel, Arçelik and Çimsa have the lowest financial performance in the period of 2018 and 2022. Additionally, the robustness and validity of the results are tested by various MCDM methods, namely, ARAS, COPRAS, EDAS, MABAC, MAIRCA, MARCOS, TOPSIS, CoCoSo and MAUT.

The role of knowledge management in enhancing innovation performance: a study on literature reviews

Determinant performance innovation can varies depending on context organization or industry certain. Many factors decider performance involving innovation combination internal and external aspects. Companies or organizations that succeed at innovation can often combine some or all of these factors to create an environment that supports the development and implementation of new ideas. This research aims to conduct a literature review study of company innovation performance. This research uses the literature study method to determine the measurement of company innovation performance of 56 articles related to innovation performance and its determining factors. The research was carried out by comprehensively identifying and conceptualizing the determinant framework for innovation performance in terms of (1) Innovativeness and attributes; (2) The impact of Ambidextrous Leadership On innovation performance; (3) Impact of knowledge management strategy on innovation performance; (4) The impact of creative self-efficacy on innovation performance; and (5) Conceptualization of determinants and their impact on innovation performance. The research results found that a company's ability to dynamically manage its resources is the main key to improving company performance. Thus, companies must have effective strategies in managing their resources and facing changes in the business environment to remain competitive.

Analysis of company performance measurement using the balanced scorecard method and analytical hierarchy process (AHP) at PT XYZ

PT XYZ is a private company engaged in freight forwarding services in Surabaya - Waingapu. In its journey, the company experienced many challenges, which continuously improved its performance management, starting from financial issues, customers, internal business processes, and learning and growth. This study aims to determine the level of company performance and provide recommendations for improvements to the Key Performance Indicator below the target. The method used is the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) supported by the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The study results show that PT XYZ's company performance score in 2020 produced a score weight of 2.88 which is included in the good category. In contrast, in 2021, the company's performance made a weighted score of 2.78 which is included in the good category, and 2022, the company's performance had a weighted score of 2.26 which is included in the sufficient category. Internal Business Processes are the focus of improvement because the achievement score still needs to catch up to the target to improve PT XYZ's performance.

Performance measurement of international shipping companies before and during COVID‐19: A DEA Malmquist index and window analysis approach

AbstractFor the past several decades, the container shipping industry has grown rapidly. As a result, container shipping companies (CSCs) play a vital role in the global cargo transportation market. Thus, measuring the efficiency of CSCs is a primary concern of managers and practitioners. When the COVID‐19 pandemic broke out, the industry was severely disrupted and presented with unprecedented challenges. For this reason, evaluating how CSCs performed and learning the practices they took to achieve successful business results during this period have become necessary. To serve that purpose, this article used a hybrid method that combined data envelopment analysis Malmquist index with window analysis to analyze the world's nine leading CSCs' performance over time and their efficiency relative to each other, using data collected within a 5‐year period from 2016 to 2020. Our findings revealed different characteristics and trends in efficiency among these CSCs in terms of technical efficiency change, technological change, and total productivity change. Then, managerial implications were discussed to understand the best practices of successful CSCs as well as the circumstances in which some of them underperformed during this time. In closing, the study summarized a fact‐based guideline CSCs could take as management reference should a similar crisis occur.

Metaverse: Value creation and performance measurement across physical and digital world

This study provides a first conceptualization of the Metaverse from a strategic management perspective and advances performance measurement approaches for the Metaverse value creation. Specifically, the study aims to provide an in-depth analysis of Metaverse and the related implications on the value creation processes of the companies. In order to achieve this goal, we performed a detailed literature review on digital transformation, Metaverse and performance measure-ment topics. Thus, we have developed a theoretical framework useful to facilitate the implementation of successful strategies in the Metaverse and subsequent mon-itoring and evaluation of achieved results. The paper provides relevant contributions in theory and practice. From a theoreti-cal perspective, the results contribute to the strategic management and perfor-mance management literature streams, extending them to the dimension of the "digital world". From a practical perspective, the results identify new performance measurement and new indicators useful for companies and practitioners to under-stand the link between Metaverse and value creation paths. Future studies should integrate the theoretical analysis with explorative empirical investigations.

Proposed Performance Management System Using Kbpms Framework At PT. Kita Bersama

In Indonesia, company performance measurement is regulated by standards such as Financial Accounting Standards (SAK) published by the Indonesian Accountants Association (IAI). PT Kita Bersama, which operates in the direct sales sector, has experienced a decline in revenue in the last 5 years. One of the causes is the absence of clear performance indicators for employees so that they work without adequate targets and control. Therefore, this thesis research aims to propose the implementation of an integrated performance management system at PT Kita Bersamawith a focus on product marketing and Key Performance Indicators (KPI). The result is 23 KPIs derived from the company's strategy and business processes to carry out more comprehensive performance measurement and evaluation. Furthermore, the Knowledge Based Performance Management System (KBPMS) is designed to overcome various company challenges related to data integration, employee involvement, alignment of activities with vision and mission, and performance management. KBPMS is also based on five principles to simplify operations, increase efficiency, and drive sustainable growth of the company. By implementing this knowledge management system, it is hoped that company performance can be improved in a structured manner according to long-term targets.

A comprehensive evaluation of a company performance using sustainability balanced scorecard based on picture fuzzy AHP

The Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is a performance management tool that analyzes the relationship between tangible and intangible assets. Its ability to render business strategy visible has earned it the distinction of being a strategic management model. Sustainability has become an important part of daily and business life today. With the increasing importance given by stakeholders to environmental and social issues, companies find it necessary to evaluate sustainability activities in their performance evaluations. In order to meet this need, the Sustainability Balanced Scorecard (SBSC) emerged with the addition of a sustainability perspective or parameters to BSC. The number of academic studies pertaining to the application of BSC, which numerous companies and subjects to research have utilized, is inadequate. Due to its hierarchical structure and the necessity to evaluate numerous criteria, BSC is suitable for using multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods. In this paper, an integrated approach consisting of SBSC, the Picture Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (PF-AHP), and the Objective Matrix (OMAX) method is proposed for the performance measurement of companies. The PF-AHP method has been reorganized for ease of application in determining the perspectives, strategic objectives, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) weights within SBSC. Additionally, the OMAX method has been employed for calculating the performance scores. This proposed approach was implemented in a factory operating in the glass industry. The SBSC created for the company includes five perspectives, 16 strategic objectives, and 34 KPIs. PF-AHP method was used to determine the weights of perspectives, strategic objectives, and KPIs to be used in the performance score calculation with OMAX. The weight of financial perspective is 0.267, the weight of the customer perspective is 0.247, the weight of the internal process perspective is 0.191, the weight of the learning and development perspective is 0.161, and the weight of the sustainability perspective is 0.134. The evaluations made by the decision-makers indicate that the company's performance measurement still adheres to the traditional framework. The performance score of the company is 6.14 out of 10.

Kinerja Keuangan Berbasis Konsep BSC (Balance Scorecard) Berdasarkan Prespektif Financial

The purpose of this research is to understand how the Balanced Scorecard is implemented as an alternative performance measurement for companies using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data analysis based on the Balanced Scorecard concept serves as a guide for researchers to elaborate on information at Bank 9 Jambi, indicating performance measurement based on three perspectives: financial perspective, customer perspective, and internal business perspective. The results of this research provide information on the performance measurement of Bank 9 Jambi using the Balanced Scorecard method for the period 2017-2019. Researchers can draw conclusions regarding the performance measurement of the company using the Balanced Scorecard method at PT. Bank 9 Jambi, considering the financial perspective of PT. Bank 9 Jambi appears to be good. From the customer perspective, the performance of PT. Bank 9 Jambi seems satisfactory. The internal business process perspective suggests that continuous development is needed for PT. Bank 9 Jambi.

Employee benefits and company performance: Evidence from a high-dimensional machine learning model

By incorporating novel social media data, we analyze in detail how US companies offer different employee benefits and how they are associated with several company performance measures. Benefits such as 401(k), employee discounts, parking, and vision/dental healthcare are the most commonly provided, while free food -related benefits and family-related benefits are the most scarcely offered. Furthermore, with the aid of efficient machine learning -based models and tools from explainable artificial intelligence, we discover that family-related benefits are often associated with the most satisfied employees and best-performing companies. Our findings indicate that high-growth companies tend to provide a broad array of benefits to their employees. In contrast, highly profitable companies often concentrate on delivering a more limited and specialized set of benefits. We argue that companies offer rare and highly sought benefits to keep and recruit high-performers.

ANALISIS KINERJA KEUANGAN CV. ABC DENGAN PENDEKATAN RASIO PROFITABILITAS,LIKUIDITAS DAN SOLVABILITAS TAHUN 2021-2022

Abstrak : The company's financial performance can be assessed by analyzing financial ratios. Financial ratios can consist of several groups such as profitability, liquidity and solvency ratios. This study uses secondary data obtained indirectly from the results of CV ABC's financial statements for 2021-2022 using profitability ratios (Return On Assets, Return On Equity, Gross Profit Margin and Net Profit Margin), liquidity ratios (Current Ratio, Quick Ratio, and Cash Ratio) and solvency ratios (Debt to Asset Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio). This research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive analysis model that aims to analyze financial ratios so that after analysis the company can know and can assess financial performance based on the value of the company's financial ratios. Based on the results of the study that the results of the assessment of financial performance on CV ABC have increased quite well. The profitability ratio can be said to be in good condition, so that the results of the ROA analysis meet the company's performance measurement standards, the results of the ROE analysis are good, the GPM results are quite good in 2021 and less good based on the 2022 analysis and the NPM analysis is not good for the last two years. in the Quick Ratio analysis it is said to be less good in 2021 and quite good in 2022, in the Cash Ratio analysis it is said to be not good for the last 2 years.then in the solvency analysis it is said to be good and has increased over the last two years based on the results of the analysis of Debt to Asset Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio).

PENGUKURAN KINERJA KARYAWAN PADA PT HT MANUFACTURING

This research focuses on measuring the performance of employees at PT HT Manufacturing, a company producing fishing bait and equipment. The study aims to assess employee performance in the Painting department and identify potential areas for improvement. The current performance measurement system is found to be subjective, emphasizing financial targets only. The theoretical framework discusses the concept of performance, performance measurement, human resources management, and the Human Resource Scorecard (HRSC). The HRSC is an important tool for measuring and managing the strategic contributions of human resources to achieve the company's objectives. The research methodology used is a survey, employing questionnaires and interviews to collect data from 24 employees in the Painting department. Data validity and reliability are tested using statistical analyses like correlation and Cronbach's alpha.
 The findings reveal that most indicators used to measure employee performance are valid and reliable. However, one indicator related to measuring performance between employees and their superiors is found to be invalid. The research concludes that the company's performance measurement needs improvement, and employee training plays a crucial role in enhancing job satisfaction and overall performance.Overall, this study provides valuable insights into the performance measurement process at PT HT Manufacturing and offers recommendations for enhancing employee performance and job satisfaction through effective training programs.

How Shifts in Economic Policy Affect Infrastructure Firm Performance ?

This quantitative research was conducted on companies in the infrastructure sector in Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Vietnam to see a comparison of economic policies in influencing company performance, the progress of the infrastructure sector, and good implementation in each country. The company performance measurement variables used are ROE and ROA. This research was conducted in a prescriptive way by collecting secondary data from official stock exchange sites, namely the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX), Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), and Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX). To find out the relationship between variables, analysis, and data processing in this study we used the Vector Autoregressive (VAR) method. The results of this study are that the economic policies implemented by each country have different impacts according to the economic conditions in the country so they have different impacts on the implementation of monetary and fiscal policies. In Indonesia and the Philippines, the impact of interest rate monetary policy can significantly affect company performance (positive effect), while in Vietnam and Singapore, it is not proven to have a significant effect. In Indonesia and the Philippines, the impact of fiscal policy shows that the performance of companies in the infrastructure sector appears to be positively influenced by the State Budget and IR, but in Vietnam and Singapore, it does not appear to be positively affected.

Pengaruh Penerapan Balanced Scorecard terhadap Kinerja Manajemen di BPRS PNM Mentari Garut

This research is motivated by the weakness of the company's performance measurement system that focuses on financial aspects and ignores non-financial performance, so a performance measurement model is made using the balanced scorecard. This study aims to determine how the effect of the balanced scorecard on management performance in BPRS PNM Mentari Garut. The object of this research is to measure management performance. This type of research is quantitative associative. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, literature study and questionnaires. While the population is all employees, amounting to 42 people. The results showed that there was no influence of the financial perspective on management performance with the results of the t-test value tcount < ttable (1,933 < 2,021), there was a significant influence between the customer perspective on management performance and the results of the t test value tcount > ttable (3.182 > 2.021), there is a significant effect between the internal business process perspective on management performance with the results of the t-test value tcount > ttable (3,800 > 2,021), there is a significant influence between the learning and growth perspective on management performance with the t test results tcount > ttable (4,474 > 2,021), Simultaneously the Balanced Scorecard has a significant effect on management performance, it can be seen in the F test that the value of Fcount > Ftable (5.835 > 2.63).

PENGARUH KARAKTERISTIK KOMITE AUDIT TERHADAP KINERJA PERUSAHAAN

This study empirically examines the impact of audit committee size variables, financial expertise and frequency of audit committee meetings and company performance. Population of this sudy was firms listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) and The sample was company from Basic and Chemical Industry from 2014-2020 with 295 total observation. The company's performance uses TobinsQ measurements. Regression analysis using panel data and stata 17 application identified that the size of the audit committee and the financial expertise of the audit committee had a significant positive effect on the company's performance. On the other hand, the frequency of audit committee meetings that are routinely held every year was found to have a positive insignificant effect on the company's performance. This research contributes to the company's performance. First, it shows the extent of the performance of basic industrial and chemical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Second, the study adds to the existing literature on the impact of audit committee attributes on company performance by using a focus of one measurement of company performance and specifically audit committees that were previously not specific. Third, this study is expected to provide feedback to regulators of basic and chemical industry companies on the current regulations on the requirements of being an audit committee in basic and chemical industrial enterprises. Finally, this study raises some issues of interest to other researchers who are or will be conducting research in this field.

Analysis of Company Performance and Its Influence Through Balanced Scorecard Using Intervening Variables of Work Climate in Medan City and Surrounding Areas

The purpose of the study was to measure the performance of companies in the city of Medan and its surroundings with the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) in order to increase competition through the intervening variable of the work climate that distinguishes each company. The research design is policy research using quantitative analysis techniques using the Lisrel application SEM, with a sample of 100. The calculation results of SEM analysis the work climate variable has an influence on company performance of 80.16%, while other variables that are not examined but also affect the lecturer's research performance are indicated by a value of 20%. The results showed that the measurement of company performance with BSC through its four perspectives, namely the Financial Perspective, Customers, Internal Business and Learning and Growth as well as through the intervening variable Organizational Climate, the results of which have a direct or indirect effect on the Company's performance.

The impact of remuneration governance on chief executive officer overpayment

Background: Chief executive officer (CEO) payment and company performance are highly controversial, and existing research has focused on this link for decades. The study was conducted in South Africa where corporate governance regulators have introduced measures to improve the relationship between CEO pay and performance.Aim: This research aimed to explore the problem by extending Pepper and Gore’s (2015) behavioural agency theory to examine the moderating effect of remuneration governance on the CEO pay – company performance relationship.Setting: The study focused on the Top 100 listed companies in which several regulations concerning CEO pay were introduced, which provided the opportunity to examine such regulations on the alignment of CEO pay and company performance.Method: Panel data from 67 company annual reports were analysed over two decades with 871 datapoints, divided into three periods corresponding with the introduction of regulations. Analyses included corrected panel standard errors and estimated generalised least squared hierarchical multiple regression and moderated multiple regression analyses.Results: Results showed a statistically significant positive relationship between company performance measures and total CEO remuneration (including long-term incentives [LTIs]) for each of the three periods. We found that LTIs tied to performance-vested criteria and CEO minimum shareholding do enhance pay-performance sensitivity. Results further suggest that the behavioural agency theory is incomplete and researchers should consider the role of remuneration governance in moderating CEO overpayment.Conclusion: Remuneration governance should be refined through the inclusion of retrospective CEO remuneration disclosure to increase pay-performance sensitivity.Contribution: This research contributes to knowledge of CEO payment and company performance.

ANALISIS KINERJA PERUSAHAAN BERBASIS PENDEKATAN BALANCED SCORECARD (STUDI KASUS PADA PT. BPR DESA SANUR)

Balanced scorecard is company's performance measurement tools created by Robert S. Kaplan and David P. Norton. Balanced scorecard assesses company performance through four perspectives, namely financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business process perspective, learning and growth perspective. The research was conducted at PT. BPR Desa Sanur, located in Denpasar. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the performance of PT. BPR Desa Sanur is based on a balanced scorecard so that it can be seen that the measurement of performance is balanced with a financial perspective and a non-financial perspective. The sample of this study amounted to 38 employees with probability sampling method census technique. The method of data collection is using non-participant observation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses four perspectives from balanced scorecard. The results of the analysis that have been carried out show that the performance of PT. BPR Desa Sanur using the four perspectives of the balanced scorecard is classified as quite good with the average score obtained is 0.25. Based on these results, it is expected that PT. BPR Desa Sanur to be able to plan the right strategy in the future and improve performance to maintain customer trust.
