Abstract Advantages of the postural sway suggestibility measure, such as speed and broad range of predictability were diecussed. Two disadvantages were then mentioned: ordinal scaling and non-normal distribution of scores. Advanced as a partial solution to these problem was the method of measuring the degree of opposite responses while considering zero as just another value on the scale. It waa shown that this method produces normally distributed data drawn from an interval scale; the test-retest reliability coefficient was found to be 76.
