Penyuluhan Peningkatan Belajar Bahasa Inggris Berbasis English for Specific Purposes (ESP) di Madrasah Aliyah NW Jeruk Manis

The objective of community service is to train Madrasah Aliyah (MA) NW Jeruk Manis teachers in learning English for a specific purpose (ESP). The method used in the implementation of community service activities at NW Jeruk Manis is the role-playing method, which uses a learning model that is oriented to specific needs. The learning scenario is used as a concept in a hotel, with the topic "at the hotel". The course of learning: (1) listening and seeing picture explanations about restaurant and restaurant waiter expressions, (2) acting as customers and waiters, (3) making transactional and interpersonal conversations and monologues in English, (4) practicing the above conversation seriously as if it happened and it is very important to do in real life, (5) each member of the group presents it and discusses it together under the supervision of the teacher, (6) correctly recites words with good pronunciation, (7) practice making conversations with topics others related to the world of work and in the context of daily life, (8) working with groups to make conversations recorded on CD or video, (9) creating themselves to be practiced outside of school hours, and (10) finding other examples that are often used in natural conversation. Service was held at MA NW Jeruk Manis Pemepek village Pringgarata district Lombok Tengah Regency. Subjects are language teachers with 3 hours of learning time.

The Potential of Community Forest Development through Agroforestry Pattern of Medicinal Plants on Marginal Land in Lombok Tengah, Indonesia

Abstract Lombok Tengah Regency has community forest areas that have the potential to be developed. Current conditions show that many community forests in Lombok Tengah have been developed on marginal land and generally have not implemented intensive land management practices. Thus, land productivity has not been achieved optimally. Improving the quality of marginal land requires intensive land management practices to achieve a balance of ecological, social, and economic functions. The agroforestry pattern is an effort that can be implemented to increase the land productivity of community forests in Lombok Tengah. Agroforestry is a land management system that has great potential to be developed in community forests because it can improve ecological, social, and economic functions. However, not all farmers know the appropriate pattern to increase the productivity of their land. The study aims to determine appropriate land management patterns to be developed in community forests in Lombok Tengah. The method is a focus group discussion (FGD) with 40 farmers in Emboan, Mangkung Village, Lombok Tengah Regency. The study results showed that 78% of farmers in Emboan choose an agroforestry pattern with medicinal plants, especially rhizome types. In comparison, 22% of farmers choose to plant multi-purpose tree species (MPTS) and food crops. Ginger/jahe (Zingiber officinale), galangal/lengkuas (Alpinia galanga), and lemongrass/serai (Cymbopogon citratus) are the most suitable medicinal plants based on biophysical and socio-economic conditions to be developed on community forest in Emboan, Mangkung Village, Lombok Tengah Regency.

Analysis of Contribution and Comparison of Original Regional Income (PAD) of Lombok Tengah Regency Before and After the Development of the Mandalika Special Economic Zone

This research aims to analyze the contribution and comparison of Lombok Tengah Regency's Original Regional Income before and after the development of the Mandalika Special Economic Zone. This research uses quantitative methods. The location of this research is in Lombok Tengah Regency, while the research object is Regional Original Income before and after the development of the Mandalika Special Economic Zone. The data analysis used is contribution analysis and comparison tests using the paired sample t test. The research results show that: (1) The contribution of regional taxes before the construction of the Mandalika SEZ was 25.30% and 38.27% after the Mandalika SEZ construction. (2) The contribution of regional levies before the construction of the Mandalika SEZ was 10.60% and 8.16% after the construction of the Mandalika SEZ. (3) The contribution to regional wealth management results that were separated before the construction of the Mandalika SEZ was 5.25% and 4.67% after the construction of the Mandalika SEZ. (4) Other legitimate PAD contributions before the construction of the Mandalika SEZ were 58.85% and 51.43% after the Mandalika SEZ construction. (5) There is a difference in regional taxes before and after the construction of the Mandalika SEZ with a significance value of 0.010. (6) There are no differences in regional levies, results of separated wealth management, other PAD and local original income before and after the construction of the Mandalika SEZ with significance values of 0.788, 0.896, 0.786, 0.377.

Morphometric characteristics of Limousin-Bali Crossbred Cows in Lombok Tengah Regency, West Nusa Tenggara

The research was conducted to observe morphometric characteristics of Limousin-Bali crossbred cows in Lombok Tengah Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. Data were collected using purposive sampling technique with cattle measured including Bali cattle and Limousin-Bali crossbred. The material used 60 head cows which consisted of 30 head of Limousin-Bali crossbred (Limbal) cows and 30 head of Bali cows. The cows were kept in loose pens with a litter base. The feed was provided forages as well as drinking water which is freely given. The data was taken in the form of body length, withers height, chest girth, chest deep, chest width, hip height, hip width, head length, head width, and ear length. The data obtained were analyzed by an Independent sample t-test. The Limbal and Bali cows have body length, withers height, chest girth, chest deep, chest width, hip height, hip width, head length, and head width were 134.13±1.24 and 111.67±1.17 cm; 124.27±0.77 and 109.47±0.95 cm; 174.50±1.83 and 152.47±1.94 cm; 66.83±0.70 and 60.00±0.69 cm; 42.47±0.78 and 35.53±0.65 cm; 122.00±0.81 and 106.87±0.87 cm; 41.67±0.40 and 32.80±0.60 cm; 42.77±0.68 and 36.03±0.43 cm; 22.87±0.43 and 19.53±0.41 cm, respectively. All body measurements of Limbal cows were higher (P<0.05) than that of Bali cows. In conclusion, the morphometric characteristics of Limousin-Bali crossbred cows are higher than Bali cows.

Illuminating Tradition Through Innovation: Transforming Traditional Woven Tourism in Smart Tourism in Central Lombok Regency

This study aims to explore the challenges that have long hindered the progress of traditional weaving tourism in Central Lombok Regency and unravel the role of innovation as a breakthrough and solution. The study's focus centered on the importance of innovation as a transformative factor for traditional weaving tourism within the framework of smart tourism in Lombok Tengah Regency. It is known that the distinctive traditional weaving of Lombok has a long history and is an integral part of local life and culture, passed down through generations. However, realistically, traditional weaving must contend with challenges such as the low prices of woven fabric products, the lack of interest among the younger generation to learn weaving, and the limited capacity of weavers to respond to local, domestic, and even global market demands. This study employs a qualitative-exploratory approach, with the research taking place in the villages of Rembitan and Sukarara in Lombok Tengah Regency. The study finds that the challenges faced by traditional weaving can only be overcome through innovation. Innovation has the ability to overcome various obstacles by developing products and creating new designs that align with tourists' interests, utilizing digital technology to market and sell traditional woven products, imparting new skills and techniques to weavers, and promoting traditional weaving as a cultural heritage through digital platforms. Innovation has successfully transformed the traditional weaving tourism industry, even though this transformation is still partial. The dodeca-helix approach within the Tourism Hub can synergize stakeholders to create innovation for transforming the industry despite challenges that must be overcome for this transformation to materialize. In the effort to change the traditional weaving tourism industry through innovation, it is recommended that the Government, private sector, and local community collaborate to address challenges and create innovations to guide the development of traditional weaving in the future.

The difference in qualitative characteristics between Simmental-Bali (SIMBAL) crossed cows and Bali cows in West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.

The research was conducted to explore the difference in qualitative characteristics between Simmental-Bali (SimBal) crossed cows and Bali cows. Research was done in Lombok Tengah Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Indonesia. The material used in this research was 60 cows consisting of 30 Bali and 30 Simmental-Bali crossed cows, about 2.5 years old. This research was carried out by direct observation. The cows used to belong to the farmers, kept by each owner intensively in a stall. Qualitative characteristics were analyzed descriptively and presented in percentages. The results show that Simmental-Bali crossed cows had different exterior characteristics from Bali cows. Among others, the body was dominant in brick red to dark brown, the legs were brown, the muzzle was pink spotted in black, the buttock was light brown, the tail hair was brown, the face vector was white, and the horn was upwards. It is concluded that Simmental-Bali (Simbal) crossed cows and Bali cows have different qualitative characteristics. This difference in qualitative properties does not become a problem for farmers in West Nusa Tenggara, so the cross-program using an exotic straw that has qualitative properties different from pure Bali cattle in the future can be continued.

Penggunaan Metode Prototype dalam Pengembangan Aplikasi Monitoring dan Evaluasi Terhadap Renja SKPD Kab Lombok Tengah

The process of monitoring and evaluation in a government agency, especially Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Daerah (BAPPEDA) of Lombok Tengah Regency is one of the most important things to do. The process of monitoring the implementation of work is carried out to obtain facts, data, and information in the process of achieving goals. Bappeda Lombok Tengah in the process of implementing monitoring and evaluation still uses the conventional system by collecting SKPD files on a quarterly basis which causes the process to be inefficient. Therefore the application is very necessary. The purpose of this research is to produce an application to facilitate the monitoring and evaluation of the current year's RENJA. The system design/development method used is the prototyping method. The implementation of the prototype method is carried out in 3 (three) stages, the first stage is listening to system users related to system requirements, the second stage is making prototype interfaces and the third is testing the prototype interface that has been proposed by the user. In this study, the system will be tested with usability testing in the form of a questionnaire. The test consists of 3 assessments, namely system quality, information quality and service quality. to get feedback from users. Results of System Testing using a questionnaire method involving 10 respondents reached 87% which indicates that the RENJA Information system is very suitable for use by users. With this application, Bapeda can monitor the Work Plan of each SKPD and can provide an assessment of the realization of DPA-SKPD quickly, precisely and efficiently.

Analisis Perbedaan Pendapatan Pengerajin Tenun Sebelum dan Sesudah Adanya Ritel Modern

The background of this research is that there is a gap between regions that is a serious problem, the gap affects the income of artisans in sukarara village with modern retail entrepreneurs. Based on the background of this research, the purpose of this research is to know the characteristics of weaving entrepreneurs and to know if there are differences in the income of weaving craftsmen before and after the arrival of modern retail in Sukarara Village Jonggat District central Lombok Regency. main objective of this study is to analyze the characteristics and the effect of the modern retail market on the difference of income level to weave production in Sukarara Village, Lombok Tengah Regency in one month. The method in this research is quantitative descriptive, that is analyzed of the different test (t-test) using the SPSS application. The data used are primary, primary data obtained through field interviews directly to weaving craftsmen on Sukarara Village. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are significant income differences obtained by weaving entrepreneurs after and before the existence of modern weaving retail. Changes in income in the form of a decrease in income occur on average by Rp. 1,775,862 of all respondents.

PENGEMBANGAN DASHBOARD CERDAS UNTUK MONITORING DATA PASIEN RAWAT RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH PRAYA KABUPATEN LOMBOK TENGAH

Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) is a hospital owned by the Lombok Tengah Regency Government. RSUD Praya has a main vision as a hospital with excellent service, by prioritizing perfect, effective, efficient and friendly quality services, family-based manner with financing affordable to all levels of society. Efforts that have been made by RSUD Praya are implementing hospital information systems. In 2014 RSUD Praya has used the hospital information system (SIMRS) which was developed independently. However, the SIMRS that was developed has not been deemed effective in supporting business processes at RSUD Praya. In mid-2019 to date, RSUD Praya has carried out a system migration. The system migration from the old SIMRS to SIMRS Khanza presented obstacles in integrating data. One reason is that the two hospital information systems were developed by different developers. Therefore, the data contained in each Database is different. This difference creates a gap when it comes to analyzing patient data simultaneously from 2014 to the present. Gap analysis between the two hospital information systems at RSUD Praya cannot reflect good data management. One of the efforts to overcome the gap analysis is to build a data warehouse. The development of a data warehouse and dashboard is the right effort if you look at the size of the data records stored in the two SIMRS Databases used at RSUD Praya. The test results on the dashboard system that were developed simultaneously were as much as 86% with each measured assessment was a system quality assessment of 86%, an assessment of information quality by 88%, and an assessment of system service quality by 85% of the test results it can be concluded that the system is sufficient. assist in supporting the performance of data processing at RSUD Praya. With the dashboard system developed at RSUD Praya, stakeholders in the hospital be able to get the information and knowledge contained in the transaction data carried out at RSUD Praya easily

In total there were around 150 people attending the conference. These include prominent, invitees, and presenters. Praise to Allaah SWT the almighty, we have finished for the third time the ICoCSIM conference, that we called ICoCSIM-2019.Out of 111 registered papers, there are 49 papers that were presented and discussed in six parallel rooms. Each room were equipped with a big LED screen, a projector, and sound system. This equipment fulfilled the requirement of every presenter. Although the committee can provide a laptop in case it was needed, to avoid potential difficulties while presenting various multimedia, all the presenters are requested to use their own laptop. Each presenter in a plenary session delivered the presentation within 15 minutes, followed by a 5 minutes question and answer session. So, all the presenters have presented the papers in one day only. All papers are very valuable and important for contributing the development of science and knowledge. The conference was dedicated to discuss about challenges in both areas of Computational Science and Information Management. Image capture device based on Internet of Thing (IoT ) technology

Tracing stolen cattle in the Lombok Tengah regency of NTB province is carried out by tracing footprints and waiting at certain location points which are considered as the route to be traversed or the final destination of cattle theft which is called “Ngendeng”. Ngendeng is carried out day and night from the time the livestock is declared missing until the livestock is found or the potential to be found is considered lost. The problem that occurs in Ngendeng’s activities is that it endangers the safety of life if there is a clash with thieves and a decrease in health for the people of Ngendeng. To replace the role of the community in doing Ngendeng, an Internet of Things (IoT) devices for image capturing was developed. The device can take a picture if someone passes through the front of the device then it is sent to the Telegram account of the District Police and the Community telegram account. The development of devices uses the Research and Development (R&D) method to produce products, and test the product’s effectiveness. The placement of the devices will be distributed in three (3) sub-districts in Lombok Tengah Regency based on the results of data analysis obtained from the results of data enumeration. The method used in tracing the point of placement of devices in each sub-district was using the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method. So that it is found the most frequently traversed point (very potential) to place IoT-based image capture devices as an effort to reduce the crime of cattle theft in Lombok Tengah Regency.

Examining Public Satisfaction of Lombok Tengah Regency Civil Registry Service office Administrative Service Based on Government System

ABSTRACT. Public service is something that needed by the public. So in this regard, the government as an official public body has the duty and responsibility to provide the best service to the public itself. But the efforts made as a public service provider do and work, certainly not able to provide satisfaction to the public itself. Satisfaction with a service is one of the rights that obtained by someone. "In accordance with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, ideals about free human beings, who enjoy civil and political freedom, and freedom from fear and poverty can only be achieved, if conditions are created where everyone can enjoy civil rights and its politics and economic, social and cultural rights”. To obtain input/information about public satisfaction in the field of population administration and civil registration services in Lombok Tengah Regency, researchers tried to conduct research, with survey methods, in order to obtain input from the public how about public services performed by public service providers in Lombok Tengah District, in the area of ​​population administration and civil registration services.

Bentuk Pertunjukan Drama Tari Bejoraq

This study aimed to to describe the element of performance form and the meaning of the motion of the drama "bejoraq" in the Marong village Praya Timur, Lombok Tengah Regency. There were also data collection techniques carried out in this study by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. This research was a descriptive qualitative research by taking all samples supporting this study. The data analysis technique used consists of four stages such as data collection data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/ verification The dominant theory used in this study was a theory about the form of art performance that is shown to be shown can be exhibitions, dance, puppets, music, drama, and so on. Community Forest Scheme: Measuring Impact in Livelihood Case Study Lombok Tengah Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province

Community forest (Hutan Kemasyarakatan/HKm) is one of the social forestry scheme policies stipulated by the Indonesian government to give partial rights to the community to be able to manage the state forest area. This scheme has implemented for more than ten years, and that includes areas in Lombok Tengah Regency. This research aims to analyze the impact of social forestry scheme policies on the economy of communities around forests and conducted in May–August 2019. By the HKm scheme, the community can manage up to 0.5 ha forest area per person and expected to increase livelihood benefits as well as improve conservation outcomes such as decreasing illegal logging and planting more trees. Based on the study conducted, the community has experienced an increase in livelihoods as well as improvements in environmental conditions. Indicator used in measuring community welfare is per capita income, which noted in the study area is IDR3,609,603 annually and inequality (Gini coefficient), which noted less than 0.4 or in the 'low' category. This study shows that the Gini coefficient in the research location is high (0.530). When compared, the income gap in the group of respondents who got the HKm program was better than the group of respondents who did not. The Gini coefficient data shows that the HKm program quite succeeds in target to increase livelihood benefits. The HKm program expected to improve the level of income inequality (Gini coefficient) from 0.483 (HKm) compared to 0.566 (non-HKm). These findings are important messages to further the HKm scheme policies.

PELATIHAN PUKULAN BAYANGAN LEBIH BAIK DARI PADA PUKULAN BIASA DALAM MENINGKATKAN VO2MAX DAN DAYA TAHAN OTOT LENGAN PADA ATLET TINJU AMATIR KABUPATEN LOMBOK TENGAH (NTB)

Boxing is the basic gesture for all martial arts, because all of them definitely use the shadow shot and common shot. These two types of shots are related each other because anaerobic capacity must go along with aerobic capacity.To attain the proper knowledge about the method of shadow shot and common shot in increasing VO2max for the endurance of arm muscles for boxer athletes in Central Lombok Regency. Research was experimental with pre-test and post-test control group design, this research wasconducted in Pertina Lombok Tengah Regency. The research subjects involved 15 people divided into two groups, 7 and 8 samples respectively. The control group given only shadow shot while treatment group given common shot. This training held 3 times a week in six weeks for both groups. The analyses data with independent t-test. ANALISIS VEGETASI DI KAWASAN SEMPADAN EMBUNG BUAL, DESA AIK BUAL KECAMATAN KOPANG KABUPATEN LOMBOK TENGAH

Embung Bual is one of the tourist attraction objects in Lombok Tengah Regency. Vegetation analysis in the border area of Embung Bual is necessary to know dan to identify the structure and composition of vegetation in the border area of Embung Bual because vegetation is an important elemen in water conservation efforts. This study aims to analyze the structure and composition by analyzing the importance value index and diversity index in the border area of Embung Bual. Vegetation in the border area of Embung Bual was analyzed by using the striped path method with nested quadrats. The vegetation data obtained were carried out with an importance value index (INP) and diversity index. The results showed that the Embung Bual border area was dominated by Mahogany species at the tree life phase with an INP value of 60.21%, the pole life phase was dominated by Cempaka species with an INP value of 74.36%, at the sapling phase was dominated by Kumbi with INP value 55,09% and the seedling life phase was dominated by Mahogany species with an INP value of 88.54%. Embung Bual border area has a composition of 22 species and has a Simpson diversity index with a value of 0.86 which is included in the high category, and has a Shannon diversity index with a value of 2.43 which is included in the high category

Eksistensi Seni Pertunjukan Peresean pada Masyarakat Sasak Lombok

Culture is the product of human creation, feeling, and will. Culture isnow shifting, for example, the shift of peresean tradition in Lomboksasak community. Through this study, the author is expected to find outthe existence of peresean tradition and the meaning of pereseantradition to the community. This employed an explorative qualitativeresearch method. The research took place in Karek Village, Praya BaratDaya Sub District, Lombok Tengah Regency. The subject of research wasDarek villagers, in this case, taken using snowball sampling technique.The result of research showed that Peresean tradition is a traditional artof Sasak ethnic community in which two men are fighting against eachother (pepadu) using weapon made of rattan stick and shield. Inperesean tradition, there are rule and sanction in its implementation.Peresean performance is now conducted at certain times, e.g. on villageor regency anniversary day, wedding party, low-season, RI independenceday, or in guest welcoming event. Values contained in peresean traditionare life values including appreciating fraternity, friendship, economy,kinship, belief, culture, and art value. Meanwhile, the meaning ofperesean tradition includes a means of showing off man’s bravery,agility, and sturdiness, martial art, sportsmanship spirit, selfappreciation,establishing good relationship, and friendship. So,peresean traditional performance art in Sasak Lombok ethniccommunity has shifted viewed from its rule, meaning, andimplementation time aspects.

Preferential Habitat of Orange Footed Scrubfowl (Megapodius reindwardt) at Nature Tourism Park of Mount Tunak, Lombok Tengah Regency, Nusa Tenggara Barat Province

Orange Footed Scrubfowl (Megapodius reindwart Dumont 1823) is classified as protected bird based on the Preservation of Plant and Animal Species of Ministry of Enviromental and Forestry Decree No. 92/2018. As a natural park, TWA of Gunung Tunak serves as a natural conservation area (NCA) which has a basic function as a conservation area designated as a recreation area and nature tourism. Associated with its function then TWA of Gunung Tunak has an important role in supporting the conservation of wild animals especially Orange Footed Scrubfowl and the implementation of recreational activities and natural tourism in a sustainable manner. The objectives of this study were to analysis the preferential habitats of Orange Footed Scrubfowl. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis of stepwise method, it can be known that dominant factors to the frequency of presence of Orange Footed Scrubfowl in a selected habitat are the number of predators, the distance from water source, soil texture, and altitude of place with the equation Y = 3.390.96 + 2.28X11 + 0.00084X5 - 0.0117X10 - 0.0034X3. Based on the results of preference index analysis with Neu method, it can be seen that the preferred area of Orange Footed Scrubfowl is only in Block I (w ≥ 1) namely the forest area near Teluk Ujung Coast. Based on the place altitude, the existence of the mound of nest from the sea surface, the Orange Footed Scrubfowl prefer the area at an altitude of 0-25 m above sea level. ANALISIS KINERJA STRATEGI PEMASARAN USAHA KERAJINAN KETAK DI KABUPATEN LOMBOK TENGAH

Ketak handicraft is one of any other superior handicraft in Lombok Tengah Regency, as one of any other revenue generator for Lombok Tengah regency and to increase the prosperity of people in this industry, it is needed to find out the ways and strategies to improve the performance of this business. This research was categorized as a descriptive research which used case method approach, it was aimed to find out the position of ketak handicraft among handicraft industry in Lombok Tengah based on recent performance and to identify alternative strategies which can be chosen in order to improve the performance of this industry. In order to find out the position of ketak handicraft business, it was used BCG Agam analysis and based on this position the strategy for improving this business was selected based on this analysis, the position of third business was in the stars position, where alternative strategies that can be chosen were: (a) development of the existing product (market expansion for the existing product); (b) diversification; (c) horizontal merger. Suggestion recommended was to apply one of these strategies based on analysis that had been conducted.
