The objective of this study was to demonstrate outcomes of cooperating with deliberate capnothorax in large hiatal hernia (LHH) surgery. Tension-free crural repair is one of the key tenets of hiatal hernia surgery. Achieving a tension-free crural repair in LHHs presents a technical challenge. Tension repairs are associated with anatomical failure of repair, hernia recurrence, higher symptom scores and poor quality of life (QoL). We present our outcomes with the use of a novel technique of incorporating a deliberate left pleurotomy to reduce crural tension in large hiatal defects. Single-centre mixed cross-sectional review of pre-operative, surgical and 5-year follow-up data. Primary outcomes were gastro-oesophageal reflux disease health-related quality of life scores (GERD-HRQL) and gastro-oesophageal reflux symptom scores (GER-SS). Secondary outcomes were recurrence, post-operative respiratory complications and medication use. Eighty-six patients had hiatal hernia surgery, 48 patients had LHH. 68% of cases had deliberate pleurotomy as part of their surgical technique. QoL scores using the GERD-HRQL were 43.2, 2.7 and 4.3 in the pre-operative, early and late post-operative periods, respectively. The symptom scores using the GER SS were 36, 1.2, and 3.0 in the pre-operative, early and late post-operative periods, respectively. Only one recurrence that required reoperation was reported, but no respiratory complications were reported. Deliberate left pleurotomy to create capnothorax can be safely incorporated in the surgical technique of LHH repair to reduce crural tension for a tension-free crural repair.

Pelvic organ prolapse remains one of the most common conditions in modern gynecology. Trauma to the soft birth canal during spontaneous childbirth is the main cause of this pathology. Early diagnosis of hidden pelvic floor injuries is necessary for the selection of further patient management tactics both in the early and late postpartum periods, as well as during follow-up. Modern ultrasound diagnostic methods using 2D and 3D visualization allow for the most accurate identification of anatomical defects, and the use of not only transvaginal examination methods but also a transrectal approach allows modeling and more accurately determining the necessary treatment method and extent.

Cerebrospinal (CSF) fluid leakage is a recognized risk factor for bacterial meningitis. Few data are published concerning bacterial meningitis in children with cerebrospinal fluid leakage, and the impact of 13 valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccination (PCV13) in this population is not well known. The aim of this study was to describe the epidemiology of bacterial meningitis in children with known CSF leakage. Methods: Among all bacterial meningitis in children > 3 months old, we analyzed those with known CSF leakage (meningeal breach and/or cochlear implant resulting in meningitis) in a nationwide prospective cohort between 2001 and 2024 in France, with 227 pediatric wards and 168 microbiology departments. Of 5,879 cases of bacterial meningitis in children over 3 months old, 251 (4.3%) were associated with known CSF leakage. In this population, Streptococcus pneumoniae (78.9%) was the most frequent bacteria involved, followed by Haemophilus influenzae (10%), mainly non typeable strains. Two cases of Neisseria meningitidis were recorded and only in children with cochlear implant. For children with known CSF leakage, in late PCV13 period, PCV13, PCV15, PCV20, PCV21 and PPSV23 serotypes accounted for 14%, 16.3%, 37.2%, 79.1% and 27.9%, respectively. In this population, serotype 23B was the most frequent (18.6%), followed by 11A (9.3%), 15A (9.3%), 19F (7%), 3 (4.7%) and 19A (2.3%). Bacterial meningitis in children with known CSF leakage is largely due to pneumococci and now mainly due to serotypes not included in PCV13. Only two cases of meningococcal meningitis were found and only for children with cochlear implant.

Background/AimThis study evaluated the development and stage of retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), clinical risk factors and prognosis, as well as the nutritional index (PNI) values obtained in the early and late periods.Materials and MethodsA retrospective analysis was conducted on 189 premature infants screened in the neonatal intensive care unit. Two critical time points were determined in the study: the first 24 h postnatally, reflecting the antenatal period (early period), and PMA 34-36 weeks (late period), which is a critical transitional phase both pathophysiologically and clinically, were used to determine lymphocyte and albumin results for PNI values. Statistical analyses were employed.ResultsPNI values in the ROP group were significantly lower than those in the non-ROP group in both the early and late periods (p < 0.001). In subgroup analyses, PNI levels were lowest in cases requiring treatment. Furthermore, PNI values were significantly lower in cases requiring transfusion, surfactant therapy, necrotizing enterocolitis, patent ductus arteriosus, intraventricular hemorrhage, postnatal steroids, and mechanical ventilation. In the multivariate analyses, birth weight and early albumin levels were identified as independent predictors, while PNI values were not an independent predictor. In the ROC analysis, PNI showed moderate discriminatory ability, whereas gestational age and birth weight demonstrated higher discriminatory ability.ConclusionThe development and severity of ROP in preterm newborns were found to be substantially correlated with PNI values. Based on multivariate analyses, PNI can be considered as a complementary indicator reflecting clinical fragility rather than an independent predictor for ROP.

Abstract From humble beginnings, baseball cards have become a distinctive part of US sports history. Yet among the many contributions they have made to that history, one that has been completely overlooked is their influence on fantasy sport. Examining this relationship, first, this article briefly introduces the philosophical, psychological, and neurobiological dynamics of collecting. Second, it surveys the history of baseball cards through the prewar and vintage periods, focusing on how the baseball card industry utilized certain design elements to subtly shift fan allegiance from clubs to individual players and to blur the lines between those players and their cardboard counterparts. Third, it addresses several important developments in the late vintage period and how they contributed to the increasingly widespread perception among fans of players as commodities. In doing so, this article argues that this perception paved the way for the invention of Rotisserie League Baseball, the first fully fledged fantasy sport.

This study evaluated the effects of dietary 25-hydroxycholecalciferol alone or in combination with vitamin D3 (VD3) on growth performance, vitamin D status, immune parameters, bone integrity, and antioxidant capacity in nursery pigs. Sixty weanling piglets (5.63 ± 0.98 kg initial body weight) were assigned to three treatments for a 28 d feeding trial. The treatments were a basal diet supplemented with 2000 IU/kg VD3, a combination of 1000 IU/kg VD3 and 1000 IU/kg 25-hydroxycholecalciferol (25-OHD3), and 2000 IU/kg 25-OHD3. Pigs fed diets containing 25-OHD3 tended to have greater feed intake during d 14-28 (p = 0.06). Plasma 25-OHD3 concentrations were greater in pigs fed diets containing 25-OHD3 than in those fed VD3 alone on d 14 and 28 (p < 0.05), with greater values observed in pigs fed 2000 IU/kg 25-OHD3 than in those fed a combination of 1000 IU/kg VD3 and 1000 IU/kg 25-OHD3 on d 14 (p < 0.05). Pigs fed diets supplemented with 25-OHD3 had lower plasma malondialdehyde concentrations at d 28 (p < 0.05), while immune parameters and bone mineralization indicators were unaffected. In the broken-line analysis, the estimated plasma 25-OHD3 concentration for plasma malondialdehyde concentrations to reach the minimum level was 32.5 ng/mL (p < 0.05). In conclusion, supplementing 25-OHD3 in nursery diets improved blood vitamin D status and could help reduce oxidative stress during the late nursery period.

This study examines the changes in the local administration system during the late Goryeo and early Joseon periods, based on reform theories regarding local magistrates. The purpose of this paper is to elucidate the issues regarding Jesaseori appointed as Hyeonryeong and Gammu, as well as their personnel administration. Furthermore, by examining the impact on the Sinjeong Gammu, this study aims to clarify the characteristics of the local administration system during this transitional period. In 1388, Jo Jun proposed converting the appointment process for Hyeonryeong and Gammu, which had been based on Baekcheop, to the Bimok system. This measure integrated the appointment of Hyeonryeong and Gammu into the official public system, excluding the appointment of clerks and Japryu while enabling the appointment of court officials of the 6th rank or higher. This led to the universalization of personnel administration through Sinjeong Gammu and was maintained even after the founding of the Joseon Dynasty. Although appointments of Seongjung-Geogwanja occurred from the reign of King Gongyang to King Sejong, this is understood as a transitional phenomenon during the early stages of the dynasty. The operation of Hyeonryeong and Gammu during the late Goryeo and early Joseon periods originated from Jo Jun’s reform proposals and is regarded as a process of recovering state control over local society by appointing fully qualified personnel.

The SARS-CoV-2 remains prevalent, and neonates remain susceptible. This study aims to explore the potential of the Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) as a valuable tool for assessing the severity of SARS-CoV-2 infection in term neonates in the late neonatal period (8-28 days of life). Additionally, it seeks to examine the underlying immune characteristics associated with this ratio. A retrospective cohort study was conducted from November 1, 2022, to February 1, 2023 in four hospitals. Baseline characteristics and laboratory results were collected and analyzed. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve of NLR and lymphocyte subsets analysis were performed. The study enrolled 143 term neonates in the late neonatal period with confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection, comprising 54 severe cases and 89 non-severe cases, along with 59 age-matched uninfected controls. The NLR was identified as an associated factor for severe SARS-CoV-2 in term neonates in the late neonatal period. Furthermore, the levels of CD4+CD45RA and CD8+CD28+ T cells were significantly reduced in neonates with SARS-CoV-2 compared to healthy neonates, and a significant decrease in CD8+CD28+ T cells was observed in the severe SARS-CoV-2 group compared to the non-severe group. NLR is an associated factor of severe SARS-CoV-2 in term neonates in the late neonatal period. The pathogenicity of severe SARS-CoV-2 infection in term neonates in the late neonatal period may be related to alterations in lymphocyte subsets CLINICAL TRIAL: Not applicable.

Rare sugar D-Allulose, a zero-calorie sweetener, markedly ameliorates obesity. It reportedly stimulates the release of endogenous glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) to activate vagal afferent and directly influences the neurons in hypothalamic arcuate nucleus (ARH), thus evoking vagal and central nervous routes. D-Allulose can now be produced substantially, being expected for diet therapy. Oral form GLP-1 receptor agonist (GLP-1RA), Oral semaglutide (O-Sema), without injection markedly ameliorates obesity. It evokes only central nervous route. Thus, these GLP-1-based substances utilize common/distinct routes, suggesting common/distinct effects on obesity and related disorders including sarcopenia. To address it, this study precisely compared their effects. O-Sema and D-Allulose were administered to diet-induced obese mice under identical conditions, equivalent doses, oral gavage, and food/water deprivation. Acute and sub-chronic effects on food intake, body weight and grip strength were measured. Acutely, D-Allulose rapidly and O-Sema slowly reduced feeding. Sub-chronically, D-Allulose and O-Sema profoundly reduced food intake and weight in the early period (0-3 days) of treatment. The weight loss was diminished with O-Sema but maintained with D-Allulose in the late period (4-10 days) and after termination of treatment. D-Allulose and O-Sema increased muscle strength. Mechanistically, D-Allulose and semaglutide similarly activated anorexigenic leptin-responsive neurons while only D-Allulose significantly inhibited orexigenic ghrelin-responsive neurons in ARH. D-Allulose and O-Sema equally elicit weight reduction possibly via the central nervous route including ARH anorexigenic neuron activation. The weight loss is rebounded with O-Sema, while it is maintained with D-Allulose possibly via combined vagal afferent and central nervous routes including ARH orexigenic neuron inhibition. Their optimal use potentially provides precise control of obesity and related disorders.

ABSTRACT This study examines ‘Shun Wu Tang’, a traditional martial arts community organisation in Yunlin County, privately operated by martial arts masters. It specifically focuses on the narratives of the third- and fourth-generation inheritors after World War II, aiming to reveal the transmission and development model of traditional Taiwanese martial arts, which are deeply influenced by Minnan culture. By analysing journals, newspapers, and oral histories, we uncover how the century-long history of ‘Shun Wu Tang’ reflects the landscape of Taiwanese migration and settlement since the late Qing and early Republican periods. The key factors enabling its deep-rooted presence in Taiwan include its hereditary family-based operation, its role in local security and social stability, and its integration with folk religious rituals through martial performances dedicated to deities. The opportunity for international dissemination arose from Taiwan’s pressing need to enhance its diplomatic image through cultural exchange in martial arts. The subsequent expansion and consolidation of its overseas presence can be attributed to the profound martial expertise and charismatic leadership of the recent two generations of inheritors, as well as the unwavering commitment of their disciples to upholding the core values of martial ethics and integrity within ‘Shun Wu Tang’.

Precise regulation of amino acid concentrations in the maternal-fetal circulation is essential for fetal development, but the association of maternal amino acid metabolites with gestational duration and preterm birth risk remains obscure. Therefore, we aimed to identify biomarkers consistently associated with gestational duration and preterm birth risk across cohorts. The discovery cohort is a nested case-control study based on the Tongji-Huaxi-Shuangliu Birth Cohort (THSBC), which recruited pregnant women in early pregnancy (6-15weeks of gestation) between 2017 and 2020 and followed the women during middle and late pregnancy periods. In this discovery cohort we performed trajectory analysis for the amino acid metabolism related metabolites across 3 pregnancy periods. Regression modeling was performed to identify amino acid metabolites that were associated with gestational duration and preterm birth. We also developed an amino acid preterm prediction score (APPS) based on the identified metabolites to stratify patients accordingto their risk ofpreterm birth. Validation of the identified metabolites and the APPS was performed in the Westlake Precision Birth Cohort study (WeBirth) consisting of pregnant women with gestational diabetes recruited in mid pregnancy (22-28weeks' gestation) between 2019 and 2023. A total of 723 participants (241 preterm cases) in the THSBC and 1597 participants (96 preterm cases) in the WeBirth were included. In the THSBC, each 1 standard deviation increase in Ile-Val in mid pregnancy was associated with an increment of 0.19 (95% CI, 0.03, 0.35) week for gestational duration, while Val-Gly was inversely associated with gestational duration (- 0.20; 95% CI, - 0.34, - 0.06). In addition, lower Ile-Val and higher Val-Gly were associated with higher risk of preterm birth (OR, 0.72; 95% CI, 0.57, 0.91; OR, 1.25; 95% CI, 1.03, 1.51, respectively). These associations were consistent in the WeBirth cohort. Compared to the clinical model, the incorporation of APPS exhibited better performance in predicting preterm birth. The findings suggest that circulating amino acid metabolites may serve as biomarkers for preterm birth prediction. Maternal amino acid metabolites may have potential clinical utility in improving prenatal risk assessment.

Abstract Purpose/objective For early stage breast cancer, the GammaPod is a stereotactic radiotherapy device capable of delivering ablative doses with sharp gradients through precise breast localization. We hypothesize that 5-fraction stereotactic partial breast irradiation (S-PBI) will achieve high 3 year patient cosmesis satisfaction, minimal toxicities, and comparable treatment outcomes compared to external beam radiation therapy. We report combined results from patients treated with S-PBI at 30 Gy in 5 fractions or 40 Gy in 5 fractions as part of a multi-institutional phase II dose-escalation trial. Materials/methods Patient eligibility included DCIS or invasive epithelial histologies, AJCC clinical stage 0-II, tumor size < 3 cm, and negative margins. For those patients on the phase II trial protocol, 40 Gy dose was delivered in 5 fractions to the clinical target volume (CTV) with a minimum 30 Gy dose to the planning target volume (PTV). Cosmesis was assessed at multiple follow-up time points using a physician-rated score (4 point scale excellent, good, fair, or poor). Treatment-related toxicity was graded with NCI CTCAE v5.0. Results From November 2018 to June 2024, 100 patients were treated. Histology included 74 DCIS and 26 invasive carcinomas. Of those with invasive carcinomas, 23/26 were ER+. 83/100 (83.0%) patients received endocrine therapy. 16 patients received 40 Gy in 5 fractions, 71 patients received 30 Gy in 5 fractions, and 13 patients received alternative fractionation regimens outside these two standard options. Median elapsed time between the first and fifth treatment was 13 days (4-22 days). Median follow-up was 39.3 mo (1.6-72.8 mo). There were 30 acute Grade (gr) 1 toxicities and 4 gr 2 toxicities, with no gr 3 or higher acute toxicities (< 90 days). Gr 2 toxicities included radiation dermatitis (2), breast pain (1), and fibrosis (1). In the late period, there were 37 acute gr 1 toxicities with no gr 2 or higher late toxicities. Physicians scored cosmesis was excellent or good 79/80 (98.8%), 59/61 (96.7%), 33/34 (97.1%), and 29/30 (96.7%) respectively at baseline, 12 mo, 24 mo, and 36 mo post S-PBI. There have been two local recurrences and two distant recurrences. Conclusion: S-PBI was a safe and effective treatment and offers another treatment modality for PBI. Due to its sharp dose gradient and favorable side effect profile future studies will focus on further shortening treatment time for patients. Citation Format: O. Cong, S. McAvoy, A. Rahimi, M. Abstract Purpose/objective The GammaPod is a breast-specific stereotactic radiotherapy device capable of delivering ablative doses with sharp gradients through precise breast localization. We delivered a 8 Gy tumor bed (TB) boost using the GammaPod system followed by a hypofractionated course (40 Gy in 15 fractions or 42.56 Gy in 16 fractions) of whole breast radiation in patients with early stage breast cancers. We hypothesized that 8 Gy to the TB compared to 10 Gy with low energy photons or electrons prior to whole breast irradiation will achieve high patient cosmesis satisfaction, minimal toxicities, and comparable treatment outcomes. Materials/methods Patients diagnosed with an invasive or non-invasive breast cancer treated surgically by a partial mastectomy were eligible if they had AJCC clinical stage 0-II, tumor size < 4 cm, and negative margins. The clinical target volume (CTV), defined as the surgical cavity plus 5-mm, received 8 Gy and a 3-mm margin was added to create the planning target volume (PTV). Cosmesis was assessed at multiple follow-up time points using a physician-rated score (4 point scale excellent, good, fair, or poor). Treatment-related toxicity was graded with NCI CTCAE v5.0. Results From March 2019 to November 2023, 63 patients were treated. Histology included 35 DCIS and 28 invasive carcinomas. Of those with invasive carcinomas, 22/28 were ER+. 41/63 (65.1%) patients received endocrine therapy. Typically completed within a week of the single fraction tumor bed boost, 32 patients received 40 Gy in 15 fractions, 29 patients received 42.56 Gy in 16 fractions, and 2 patients received alternative fractionation regimens outside these two standard options.Median follow-up was 52.9 mo (1.9-93.5 mo). There were 27 acute Grade (gr) 1 toxicities and 5 gr 2 toxicities, with no gr 3 or higher acute toxicities (< 90 days) following the entire course of RT (boost + whole breast). Gr 2 toxicities included radiation dermatitis (2), breast pain (1), and fatigue (2). In the late period, there were 37 acute gr 1 toxicities and 6 gr 2 toxicities, with no gr 3 or higher late toxicities. Gr 2 toxicities included radiation dermatitis (2), breast pain (2), and fatigue (2).Physician scored cosmesis was excellent or good in 37/38 (97.4%), 40/42 (95.2%), 27/28 (96.4%), and 21/22 (95.5%) respectively at baseline, 12 mo, 24 mo, and 36 mo post S-PBI. There have been two local recurrences and no distant recurrences. Conclusion: Single fraction boost prior to whole breast radiation was safe and effective and reduced overall treatment time. Ticagrelor monotherapy following abbreviated dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) is an emerging strategy for patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). However, the timing of aspirin discontinuation has not been directly compared in this setting. We aimed to compare the clinical outcomes of aspirin discontinuation within 1 month versus at 3 months after PCI in patients with ACS. This post hoc analysis used individual patient-level data from the TICO and T-PASS trials, which exclusively enrolled patients with ACS undergoing PCI. Of 2,953 patients who received ticagrelor monotherapy after abbreviated DAPT, 1,426 discontinued aspirin within 1 month and 1,527 at 3 months. After propensity score matching, 2,248 patients were included in the final analysis. The primary endpoint was a composite of all-cause death, myocardial infarction, stent thrombosis, ischaemia-driven target vessel revascularisation, stroke, and major bleeding at 1 year. The primary endpoint occurred less frequently in the <1-month group than in the 3-month group (3.2% vs 5.6%; hazard ratio [HR] 0.56, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.37-0.84; p=0.005). Ischaemic event rates were comparable (2.2% vs 2.3%; HR 0.86, 95% CI: 0.55-1.65; p=0.863), whereas major bleeding was significantly lower in the <1-month group (1.1% vs 3.3%; HR 0.32, 95% CI: 0.17-0.61; p<0.001). Landmark analysis showed that event rates diverged primarily within the first 90 days, with no significant heterogeneity between the early and late periods. Aspirin discontinuation within 1 month followed by ticagrelor monotherapy improved net clinical outcomes compared with 3-month discontinuation, primarily by reducing major bleeding without increasing ischaemic risk. gov: NCT02494895 (TICO), NCT03797651 (T-PASS).

ABSTRACT This article foregrounds Theodosia Sophroniades, a half-Circassian Greek-Orthodox author, journalist, and interpreter during the Hamidian era (1876–1908). Although long overlooked in women’s historiography, Sophroniades occupied a prominent place in the multicultural and multilingual Ottoman intellectual milieu of the late nineteenth century. To situate her feminist ideas within the late Ottoman period, this article first outlines the leading discourses of Muslim and non-Muslim Ottoman women’s writing, and then analyses Sophroniades’ outlook on female agency, focusing on her selected French-language narratives. In her short stories, the narrator’s nonjudgmental attitude towards subversive femininities helps us better understand the individualistic aspects of Sophroniades’ counternarrative vis-à-vis nineteenth-century Ottoman feminism. The aim of the article is to contribute to the academic literature on the multidimensional gender debate of Ottoman women’s collective history.

This study investigates the incidence, anatomical localization, and time to onset of deep vein thrombosis and venous thromboembolism (VTE) following splenectomy. A secondary objective was to identify which malignancies developed after splenectomy, as well as the time interval between splenectomy and the detection of these malignancies. We retrospectively analyzed 189 patients who underwent splenectomy at Süleyman Demirel University Research and Training Hospital between January 01, 2005 and July 07, 2023. Post-procedural VTE and malignancy development, splenectomy etiologies, and serial platelet counts were evaluated. Patients were stratified for subgroup analysis. Higher pre-splenectomy platelet counts are associated with an increased risk of early post-procedural thrombosis. Platelet levels do not appear to influence the long-term risk of malignancy. Results:A significant association was found between the last pre-splenectomy platelet count and the development of thrombosis within the first postoperative month (P = .045). Overall, VTE occurred in 4.2% of patients within the first month, with portal vein thrombosis being the most common type in both early and late periods. Persistent thrombocytosis (platelets > 4,50,000/mm3) was present in 29.3% of patients at 1 to 6 months and 10.9% after 6 months. In the immune thrombocytopenic purpura subgroup, 71.2% of patients maintained a platelet count above 30,000/mm3 after 6 months. We found no significant association between pre- or post-splenectomy platelet levels and the subsequent development of malignancy.

ABSTRACT The article demonstrates that the visual and technological variability of ancient pottery is not merely a classificatory challenge but an expression of material agency that actively shaped patterns of production, circulation, and consumption in antiquity, as well as modern archaeological interpretation. The study of Late Hellenistic Ephesian fine wares recovered on Delos shows that vessels’ appearance resulted from interaction between pottery’s practices, material properties, and technological processes. Interdisciplinary research combining macroscopic and typological examinations with refiring tests, thin section petrography, and elemental analysis (WD-XRF) reveals that vessels displaying different colors, textures, and surface treatments belong to a single production group likely originating from the area of Ephesos. This variability helps explain the frequent misattribution of Ephesian fine wares on Delos and beyond. By refining macroscopic and technological characterization of this pottery, the study contributes to understanding ceramic supply to Delos and highlights the island’s role as a Roman-controlled commercial hub connecting Asia Minor with the wider Mediterranean during the Late Hellenistic period.

Background. Total endoprosthesis, including total knee arthroplasty (ТКА), is the main treatment method for severe forms of osteoarthritis. However, the quality of life in patients after surgery largely depends on the management of the rehabilitation process. The development of new rehabilitation methods and a need to study the efficiency of traditional ones enhance the relevance of the systematization and analysis of new studies on ТКА rehabilitation. Objective: to identify key trends in rehabilitation of ТКА patients and to consider current rehabilitation methods with proven efficiency. Material and methods. Literature search was conducted in scientific databases and electronic libraries: PubMed/MEDLINE, Google Schoolar, and eLibrary. A total of 2860 publications were identified, including 70 fully eligible and considered in the review. Sources were searched and selected based on PRISMA guidelines. Results. The current trends in ТКА rehabilitation involve early initiation of recovery procedures, digitally managed late postoperative period, and a personalized approach. The use of proven methods ensures rehabilitation according to the specified trends. These include exercise, biofeedback, and physical (cryotherapy, neuromuscular electrical stimulation, and electroacupuncture) therapy, as well as the latest technologies: robotic exoskeletons and virtual reality devices. Specially designed mobile applications and remote monitoring tools enable efficient telerehabilitation. This personalized approach contributes to patients’ satisfaction with the recovery process. Conclusion. The development of modern rehabilitation methods ensures comfortable recovery procedures for ТКА patients and their return to full life within a relatively short time.
