Child protection aims to guarantee the fulfillment of children's rights so that they can live, grow, develop and participate optimally in accordance with human dignity, as well as receive protection from violence and discrimination, for the sake of realizing Indonesian children who are of good quality, have noble character and prosperous. The aim of this activity is to increase parents' awareness about children's rights and protection at the Linggang Mapan Child Development Center (CDC), Linggang Bingung District, West Kutai Regency. To help partners improve parents' ability to understand and be aware of the increasing impact of violence against children, education is carried out regarding children's rights and protection. The reason for using the group counseling method or group approach is because the concept of extension is related to group counseling targets. This method is more profitable because it allows for feedback and group interaction which provides the opportunity to exchange experiences and influence the behavior and norms of its members. After carrying out activities for two weeks with two meetings with the parents of the Linggang Mapan Child Development Center (CDC) children, the author can conclude that during the process, parents can understand and comprehend what is meant by children's rights and protection by paying attention to each other's environment. a place for children to play and develop and explain to children what should be avoided while playing and socializing with other people, because violence or abuse can happen anywhere and be done by anyone, including family members.

The Meaning of Mujahadah Values for Muslim Entrepreneurs Culinary Business in East Kutai Regency

This research delves into the meaning of mujahadah among Muslim entrepreneurs in the culinary industry of East Kutai, examining the incorporation of Islamic values into their business practices. It seeks to elucidate the intricate relationship between Islamic values and the business strategies employed by Muslim entrepreneurs in the culinary sector of East Kutai, highlighting the significance of mujahadah in shaping their entrepreneurial journey. This research uses a qualitative approach involving in-depth participant observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings suggest that the mujahadah has maximum effort and strong determination to achieve business goals, with an acknowledgment of divine intervention. Entrepreneurs integrate mujahadah with Islamic values such as patience, sincerity, and reliance on Allah. Additionally, the research identifies vital challenges entrepreneurs face, including human resource management issues, market adaptation, and raw material supply management. This study offers profound insights into the influence of spiritual values on Muslim culinary entrepreneurs and provides practical implications for navigating everyday business challenges.

Islamic Values in a Multicultural Society: An Analysis of Parenting and Social Integration of Muslim Minorities

This research examines Islamic education parenting and social integration of Muslim minorities in Tanjung Labu Village, Rantau Pulung Sub-district, East Kutai Regency. Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, this research aims to understand the dynamics of Islamic education and social integration strategies in the context of multicultural communities in transmigration areas. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis. The results show that the minority Muslim community in Tanjung Labu Village applies a variety of parenting patterns, from those that tend to be authoritarian in matters of principle to those that are more democratic in other aspects. Social integration efforts are seen in various aspects of life, including education, economy, and culture. Programs such as ‘Friday Taqwa’ in schools and cooperation in farmer groups show positive steps in realizing social integration. However, the research also identified challenges such as the lack of special programs for converts and potential discrimination. The study concludes that efforts to strengthen the social integration of Muslim minorities require a holistic, inclusive, and sustainable approach, involving the active role of the Muslim community and support from various relevant parties. The findings make an important contribution to understanding the complexities of Islamic education and social integration in minority contexts, as well as highlighting the importance of empowering Muslim converts.

A Maintenance Cost and Work Performance Analysis on Irrigation Network at Kaubun Irrigation Area of East Kutai Regency, Indonesia

An irrigation network maintenance is an effort to maintain and secure the irrigation network to be always ready and well functioned. In facilitating its operational implementation and maintain its sustainability cycle, it can be attained through maintenance, repair, prevention, and security activities that must be conducted in continuity. The Kaubun irrigation area is one of the irrigation areas under the authority of central government with area length of 1,150 Ha (standard area) and 736 Ha (functional area), located in the East Kutai Regency. The Kaubun irrigation area has 1 (one) weir or dam and 2 (two) main canals. The irrigation network maintenance has not been carried out in routine and periodical ways either by the East Kalimantan Provincial Government or by the East Kutai Regency Government. Sediment accumulation is one of the main problems found in the secondary irrigation canal and able to cause canal blockage, reduced water flow capacity and increased infrastructure damage. This research was carried out by evaluating the Irrigation Network System and observing several factors causing channel damage with a guidance from regulation of Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Number:12/PRT/M/2015 on date 6 April 2015, regarding Exploitation and Maintenance of Irrigation Network. Result of the research showed that recapitulation of the work performance index for Kaubun Irrigation Network System was obtain the largest optimum value in Physical Infrastructure aspect with an index value of 29.01. Meanwhile, the result from main treatment priority by employing Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method found the Physical Infrastructure aspect has a limiting value of 0.462. Finally, the routine and periodical maintenance costs for the Kaubun irrigation area is IDR.3.753.835.675.00

Antakng as a Unit of Value in the Life of Dayak Benuaq Tonyooi Community in West Kutai

This paper aims to explain the shift that has occurred in antakng as a customary value standard in the Dayak Benuaq Tonyooi community. Using a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies, this research was conducted in West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan. The results showed that antakng, which has traditionally served as ceremonial object and used as a unit of value for Dayak people, and also functions as a standard of exchange, has now been replaced and converted into a unit of currency (rupiah). Currently, the value of 1 antakng is equivalent to IDR 400,000 (four hundred thousand rupiah). This transformation occurred due to the scarce availability of antakng (urns) and as a form of rational choice from the community to continue conducting economic transactions and maintaining customary practices in the midst of changing times. Antakng converted to money or rupiah is now used as the unit of value for paying wages and fines, and is applied in the settlement of cases in West Kutai. This research recommends the need for preservation efforts and the establishment of clear regulations regarding the use of antakng in the customary context, in order to preserve traditional values amid the challenges of modernization.

THE EFFECT OF PROVIDING HEALTH LITERACY ON FAMILY SUPPORT AND STROKE RISK IN THE PRE AND POST-TEST AMONG THE DAYAK TRIBE AT THE BARONG TONGKOK COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER

Introduction: The Dayak tribe inhabits most of West Kutai Regency , East Kalimantan Province. Hypertension is a major health problem in the West Kutai area , one of the areas under which is the Barong Tongkok Community Health Center . The family has an important role as a facilitator and provider of support in reducing hypertension and preventing the risk of stroke in family members. Aim: The aim of this research is to analyze The influence and differences in providing health literacy on family support and the risk of stroke in pre and post tests in Dayak families in an effort to reduce the risk of stroke. Method: The method in this research is pre-post test control group with sampling techniques using questionnaires and interviews. Focus Group Discussion Method was carried out every 100 times _ Respondents included 50 people in the intervention group and 50 people in the control group, with the criteria being level 1 and level 2 hypertension patients. Questionnaire and blood pressure test results were taken before and after treatment in the form of a Focus Group Discussion session. Results: The results of this research It was found that providing health literacy on the level of family support was significant (p-value: 0.00), and could reduce the risk of stroke (p-value: 0.00). The results of the pre-post test on the intervention showed differences in health literacy (p-value: 0.00), family support (p-value: 0.02) and risk of stroke (p-value: 0.00), unlike groups control where there was no significant difference in the pre and post tests. Research implications: Suggestions for Community health workers can pay more attention to family support variables by providing counseling to family members of stroke patients or stroke symptoms, through a religious or sociological approach where family relationships are the key to an individual's recovery.

Analysis of The Legal Strength of Land Tenure Statement (SPPT) as a Basis for Land Rights in East Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province

Research on the legal strength of land tenure statements (SPPT) as a basis for land rights in East Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan, aims to find out the position of the SPPT as proof of land rights in the land law system and the legal strength of a land tenure statement as proof of ownership rights. Above ground. This research was carried out because many landowners in East Kutai still rely on the legality of their land using SPPT as proof of land ownership. They assume that having the SPPT is strong enough as proof of ownership of land rights. This can be seen in the number of land cases that enter the judicial process where the SPPT is still recognized. Meanwhile, based on the negative land law system with a positive tendency adopted by Indonesia, the strongest evidence for land ownership rights is only a certificate issued by the National Land Agency, and even then it still has the potential to be sued as long as the truth can be proven. In this research, normative and descriptive juridical research methods are used to answer legal issues by describing, analyzing, assessing, and explaining appropriately and analyzing applicable laws and regulations as well as various opinions of legal experts, with the aim of answering the problems raised.

Development of Learning Tools Social Emotional Defense to Improve Learning Outcomes and Critical Thinking Skills in Human Reproductive System Materials in SMP Negeri 2 Intu Lingau

This study uses the type of development research by adapting the model designed by Borg and Gall (1983) by making modifications. This research developed a product in the form of a learning plan of the Human Reproductive System material with the application of social Emotional Competency (KSE) differentiation learning which was developed specifically with the hope of increasing learning outcomes and critical thinking skills of class IX students in the subject of the reproductive system at SMP Negeri 2 Intu Lingau, West Kutai Regency. The development procedure in this study includes seven stages, namely the preliminary stage, planning, developing the initial product form, initial field testing, main product revision, final product testing, and dissemination. The research instruments used in this study were: Questionnaire sheets validating the assessment of science learning tools, Questionnaire sheets for social emotional attitudes, observation sheets for the implementation of learning, and giving test questions. This development research used Aiken’s V data analysis technique to determine the validation value of learning tools and determine the student Gain to analyze students thinking skills. From the results of this study it was found that science learning tools with social emotional competence (KSE) which include syllabus, lesson plant, worksheets, assessment instruments, and teaching materials about the human reproductive system are appropriate based on the value of Aiken’s V validation coefficient. Development of learning Outcomes significantly in the experimental class based on the gain scores obtained.

Identification of geotourism potential for hot spring tourism development in Karangan Sub-District, East Kutai Distric, East Kalimantan Province

Abstract East Kutai is a district in East Kalimantan Province that possesses a diverse range of stunning geological heritage, distributed throughout the region, each with its own unique allure. In the Karangan District of East Kutai Regency, there are villages that possess alluring geotourism potential in the form of hot springs. Specifically, these hot springs are situated in Batu Lepoq Village and Pangadan Village, and they exhibit promising opportunities for further development. The objective of this research is to assess the state of geotourism in the study region, analyse the appraisal of geotourism potential, and provide recommendations for the development of geology-based tourist in the Karangan sub-district based on the conducted investigation. The study used the geotourism box, Kubalikova quantification analysis (2013), and Geological Survey Centre (2017) as methods. Additionally, interviews are conducted and analysed using SWOT analysis to generate recommendations. According to Kubalikova’s study in 2013, the Batu Lepoq Hot Springs location has a geotourism potential of 58%, indicating a moderate level of geotourism potential. On the other hand, the hot springs and Ampanas Caves have a geotourism potential of 67%, indicating a high level of geotourism potential. These assessments were based on an evaluation of the geological heritage resources [1]. The Batu Lepoq Hot Springs exhibit moderate geotourism potential in terms of scientific value, high geotourism potential in terms of educational value, medium geotourism potential in terms of tourism value, and low geotourism potential in terms of degradation risk. Ampanas Hot Springs exhibits significant geotourism potential due to its scientific and educational value, moderate potential for tourism, and relatively low danger of degradation. Both locations fulfil the requirements for development and management by necessitating increased promotion through various tourism events to attract the community. Additionally, efforts should be made to preserve the natural aesthetics of the surroundings, repair and maintain access roads, install street lights along these roads, and refurbish the pool. Furthermore, it is advisable to construct additional facilities such as toilets, gazebos, and maintenance areas, as well as build new structure.

GEOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF HOT SPRINGS IN BATU LEPOQ AND PANGADAN VILLAGES, KARANGAN DISTRICT, EAST KUTAI REGENCY, EAST KALIMANTAN PROVINCE

The Karangan District in East Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province, is identified as having geothermal potential in the villages of Batu Lepoq and Pangadan. The presence of hot springs in these locations underscores the area's rich geological features, despite the absence of active volcanoes on the island. This study aims to analyze the physical and geochemical characteristics of the hot springs. A conceptual model of the geothermal system was developed to evaluate the geothermal potential of the area. Geochemical data from field samples were analyzed using geochemical methods. The findings indicate that the equilibrium lies in the immature water zone, with the primary source of the hot fluid being meteoric water heated by geopressure. The temperature of the sole reservoir in the Pangadan Village geothermal system is estimated to be 1930±10°C, as determined by the 1988 Giggenbach geothermometer.

The Influence of Training Programs, Academic Qualifications, and School Principal Leadership on Improving the Competence of Junior High School Teachers in North Sangatta, East Kutai Regency

The quality of education needs to be improved, including the lack of facilities for learning and the professional abilities of teachers. Teachers can enhance their competence through training programs and by improving their academic qualifications, which are expected to have an impact on their competence. School principal leadership plays a role in enhancing teacher competence. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of training programs, academic qualifications, and school principal leadership on teacher competence, as well as the combined effects of these factors. The research method used was quantitative research, with a population of 321 teachers and a sample size of 106 teachers. Simple random sampling was employed as the sampling technique, and data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, with regression analysis used for data analysis. The results of the research indicate that there is an influence of training programs, academic qualifications, school principal leadership, the combination of training programs and academic qualifications, the combination of academic qualifications and school principal leadership, the combination of training programs and school principal leadership, the combination of training programs, academic qualifications, and school principal leadership on teacher competence. This research concludes that teacher competence in North Sangatta District, East Kutai Regency, is influenced by the training programs attended, academic qualifications, and the leadership of the school principal, all of which contribute to improving teacher competence.

Agricultural Extension Model based on Local Wisdom in Creating Household Welfare in the Dayak Tunjung Tribe Community, West Kutai Regency

Agricultural extension is non-formal education for farmers which includes extension activities, knowledge and skills for farmers and their families which takes place through a teaching and learning process. Agricultural instructors must be able to guide farmers, instructors also provide motivation, provide information and increase farmers' awareness so that they can encourage their interest in learning in facing problems in the field. Local wisdom is a view of life and knowledge as well as various life strategies in the form of activities carried out by local communities in responding to various problems in meeting their needs. The traditional culture of the Dayak Tunjung Tribe in West Kutai is rich in various local wisdom and plays an active role in preserving the environment. Local wisdom is the noble values that apply in community life to, among other things, protect and manage the environment sustainably. Local wisdom not only understands the knowledge of indigenous/local communities between humans and how good relations between humans are, but also concerns knowledge, understanding and customs about humans, nature, and the relationship between all, where all knowledge is lived, practiced, taught and passed on from one generation to generation. The Dayak community as local farmers have local wisdom in farming and opening farms. The Dayak community does not burn forests except for farming, and this is also done through traditional calculations that have been taught from generation to generation. The aim of this research is to analyze the factors that influence changes in farmer behavior towards household welfare in the local wisdom of shifting cultivation. This research approach uses a mixed method approach. In this research, it uses a sequential explanatory design where the first sequence uses quantitative methods, and the second sequence uses qualitative methods. The number of samples (n) in this study was 110 farmers. The data analysis used is GSCA, which is an analysis that combines the characteristics found in PLS-SEM with Covariance Based Structural Equation Modeling (CB-SEM). Based on the research results, it was found that factors influence changes in farmer behavior in improving the welfare of farmer households, namely: (1) internal factors of farmers which have a significant influence on changes in farmer behavior in farming. Factors that do not influence changes in farmer behaviour are: (1) external factors of farmers and (2) the role of extension workers does not have a real influence on the farming activities of the local Dayak Tunjung Tribe community. Changes in farmer behaviour in the shifting agricultural activities of the Dayak Tunjung community, namely knowledge (Y1.1), attitudes (Y1.2), and skills (Y1.3), all of these indicators have a real and large influence on improving farmer welfare. farmer household. This means that in order to improve the welfare of farming households, farmers must change the behaviour of farmers in carrying out shifting cultivation activities in Barong Tongkok District

The Effect of Breastfeeding Education Using Leaflet Media on the Knowledge and Attitudes of Pregnant Women

Breast milk (BM) is one of the most important nutrients for baby needs. This is the best baby food for the perfection of growth and development. Increasing the knowledge and attitude of mothers is considered necessary because it contributes to parenting for their children. This research aims to determine the effect of breastfeeding education using leaflet media on the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women. The research is a quasi-experiment with a pre-test and post-test with a control group research design conducted in March – April 2023 in the working area of the South Sangatta Health Center, East Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. A total of 32 samples were involved in random sampling by taking into account inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data is analyzed with the Paired-Sample T-test. The research shows the influence of exclusive breastfeeding education using leaflet media on the knowledge of pregnant women (p = 0.000), and the influence of exclusive breastfeeding education using non-leaflet media on the knowledge of pregnant women (p = 0.006). There is an influence of exclusive breastfeeding education using leaflet media on the attitude of pregnant women (p = 0.000), and the influence of exclusive breastfeeding education using non-leaflet media on the attitude of pregnant women (p = 0.006). Education using leaflets is much more effective than non-leaflet education. This finding is empirical evidence that nutrition education in the form of media is encouraged to welcome changes in public perception

Tingkatan Mutu dan Mitigasi Risiko pada Penanganan Udang Windu di PPI Selili Samarinda ke Pasar Barong Tongkok, Melak

East Kalimantan has a superior commodity: tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon). Some of these commodities are marketed to several areas in Samarinda City and to areas outside Samarinda City, namely West Kutai Regency (Barong Tongkok Market). The distribution process uses a cold chain (cool box) system for 12 hours of travel. Long distribution times cause product quality to decrease. This study aims to assess tiger shrimp's quality and handling strategies using a cold chain system at PPI Selili Samarinda City. The quality level is determined using organoleptic testing at points 1 (PPI Selili) and 2 (Pasar Barong Tongkok). The formal safety assessment (FSA) method is used to identify risks in each handling activity, risk assessment associated with tiger shrimp deterioration, risk control, and recommendations to minimize quality degradation. Based on organoleptic tests, the quality of tiger shrimp is included in the category of safe for consumption. Product handling activities included unloading products from ships, moving them to terminals, washing, structuring, packaging in cool boxes, transportation by shipping services, shipping to Melak Pasar Barong Tongkok, unloading from shipping services, and product arrangement. The highest potential risk is handling shipments to Melak Pasar Barong Tongkok, which has 22 potential hazards. Risk mitigation can be applied through socialization and evaluation related to suitable fish handling methods (CPIB) and making operational schedules for cleaning in the product loading and unloading area before and after handling activities. Analysis of Economic Sector Potential in East Kutai District

The aim of this research is to identify and analyze the economic potential of the base sector so that economic growth in East Kutai Regency can increase. Classification of economic sectors that have advantages and potential and can be developed to boost economic growth in East Kutai Regency. An overview of the pattern and structure of economic growth in East Kutai Regency. This research uses quantitative secondary data. The approach used is the Location Quotient (LQ) analysis tool to identify economic sectors that are the base sectors, Shift Share analysis to identify economic sectors that have the potential to become leading sectors and Klassen Typology analysis to identify a picture of the pattern and structure of economic growth to support economic development and regional development in East Kutai Regency. The research results show that during the research period, namely from 2013 to 2022, the mining and quarrying sector still dominates the economic structure of East Kutai Regency with the contribution of this sector to the total GRDP of 83.37%. The Mining and Quarrying sector in East Kutai Regency is a basic sector, so changes in GRDP growth or policy changes in the mining and quarrying sector are believed to have an impact on the formation of GRDP as a whole and besides that, this sector also has competitive advantages and is included in the fast-growing sector. and grow fast. This happens because at the provincial level the growth of these sectors has slowed down, resulting in a slow growth impact on the same sectors in East Kutai Regency.

IMPLEMENTATION OF BRIN REGULATION NO 5 OF 2023 AS AGRICULTURAL POLICY TO DEVELOP THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR IN EAST KUTAI DISTRICT, EAST KALIMANTAN PROVINCE

Regulation of the National Research and Innovation Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BRIN) Number 5 of 2023 concerning Governance of Research and Innovation in regions, replaces the Joint Regulation of the Minister of Research and Technology, and the Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia No. 3 of 2012 and no. 36 of 2012 concerning Strengthening Regional Innovation Systems. Increasing the productivity of national and regional competitiveness requires increasing innovative capacity and increasing regional competitiveness. The innovation system is an approach to economic development using science and technology that seeks to provide added value. Therefore, it is necessary to know how the BRIN regulations are implemented in East Kutai Regency regarding the development of the agricultural sector. This study was carried out using field survey and interview methods. Agriculture is one of the most strategic economic driving sectors in The existence and implementation of BRIN regulation no. 5 of 2023 can be said to accelerate the advancement of science and technology, especially the agricultural sector. With cooperation, integration, and harmonization of invention and innovation development programs carried out with relevant stakeholders as mandated in BRIN regulation no. 5 of 2023, there will be an acceleration in the preparation of Master Plan documents and Road Maps for the Advancement of Science and Technology, regarding the agricultural sector as economic transformation in the future.

Factors Related to The Response Time of Handling Emergency Cases in The Eranger Installation Room

Introduction: Response time depends on the speed available and the quality of providing assistance to save lives/prevent disability. Objective: The purpose of the study was to determine the factors related to the Response Time of nurses in handling emergency patients at the ER Harapan Insan Hospital Sendawar West Kutai Regency. Method: Research with cross sectional approach. sample selection with purposive sampling of 26 respondents. Data analysis technique chi square test at a significance level of 95% (a 0.05). Results and Discussion: The research found that most of the nurses had Response Time < 5 minutes as many as 22 (86.4%). Statistical tests showed that there was a relationship between training (? 0.001) and compensation (? 0.028) with the response time for handling emergency cases at Harapan Insan Sendawar Hospital. Conclusion: The nurse's response time in handling emergency cases at the Emergency Installation Harapan Insan Sendawar General Hospital is on average <5 minutes. Training and rewards are related to nurse response time, while length of work and motivation have nothing to do with nurse response time in handling emergency patients in the Emergency Installation HIS Hospital.

The Role of Traditional Heads in Resolving Land Disputes in Sekerat Village, Bengalon District, East Kutai Regency East Kalimantan Province

The role of traditional heads in resolving land disputes that occur in Sekerat Village, East Kutai Regency provides a solution in solving problems faced by warring communities because of land disputes, especially customary land. This is so that the problem does not take place continuously causing a dispute between the two disputing parties. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach, using purposive sampling techniques as informants. This study uses qualitative data analysis methods. The people of Sekerat Village have their own way of solving the problem outside court or non-litigation, namely through the traditional head in his territory. Where they feel that the problem can be solved relatively faster, can be materialized, low cost, and its settlement is carried out by peaceful means through deliberation. And historically, the culture of Indonesian society is very upholding high deliberative approach.

Customary Law ``Bolit Mate Nawar Uman" As ``Living Law" in West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan.

Customary law is a legal system that has been used by the community for a long time and it has been passed down from generation to generation. Bolit Mate Nawar Uman (BMNU) is a customary law used by indigenous people in West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan. Even though there has been a shift in values and norms in society, BMNU customary law is still recognized and used by local communities in resolving legal disputes. Crime always appears where there is society, one of which is murder which, in this case, is studied according to the science of law and is associated with social life. The issues raised are how BMNU customs become living law when dealing with criminal acts of murder in West Kutai Regency and how BMNU customary sanctions can provide a value of justice for local indigenous people. This study uses a sociological juridical method with primary legal materials and secondary legal materials as well as a statutory approach and a case study approach. The results of the study show that the existence of BMNU customary law applies when the crime is committed within the territory of the customary territory and the victim of the crime of murder is a descendant of the Dayak tribe, West Kutai district. The application of customary sanctions for the criminal act of murder was tried by the method of deliberation between Dayak customary institutions and indigenous people in general. Implementation of Limited Company Social Responsibility in the Field of Natural Resources, West Kutai District

The legal product in the form of a Regent's Regulation issued by the West Kutai Regency Government, which regulates explicitly Guidelines for the Implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility, is a form of control function over companies operating in the West Kutai Regency area by the West Kutai Regency Government. Based on the description above, this article examines and analyzes the Implementation of the Social Responsibility Obligations of Limited Liability Companies in the Natural Resources Sector Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies in West Kutai Regency and the factors that hinder its implementation. The research method used in this research is an empirical legal research method. Trubaindo Coal Mining, in implementing the Regulations on Limited Liability Company Social Responsibility Obligations in the field of natural resources based on Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies in West Kutai Regency, has implemented the company's corporate social responsibility by the program required by the people of Muara Begai Village. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors that arise in implementing implementation are not being able to distinguish between needs and desires; there are several groups that prioritize personal interests rather than the people at large; of course, this will interfere with the company in grouping the right groups that require Corporate Social Responsibility. The lack of Human Resources cannot be denied as an inhibiting factor, and unforeseen thingssuch as natural disasters and floods make it impossible to carry out scheduled Corporate Social Responsibility programs
