This study examines public attitudes toward sports betting and promotions in the United States by analyzing YouTube comments. Using keyword searches, 210 videos were identified, yielding 2,369 comments for analysis. A hybrid approach combining automated BERT sentiment analysis with human-coded content analysis was employed to determine overall sentiment and to identify key themes, endorsers, and sportsbook brands. Results revealed a predominance of negative and neutral sentiments, with positive sentiments least frequent. BERT detected more negative sentiments than the human-coded analysis, which indicated a more balanced distribution. Content analysis showed that positive responses were often directed at entertainment features such as humor, music, and celebrities, whereas negative responses focused on celebrity endorsements, excessive advertising exposure, and frustrations with sportsbook brands' customer services. Prominent celebrities, including Charles Barkley and Paige Spiranac, received relatively favorable comments, while Wayne Gretzky and Jamie Foxx were criticized. Larger sportsbook brands such as BetMGM, DraftKings, and FanDuel were mentioned most often but attracted more negative feedback compared with smaller brands. These findings underscore the need for advertisers to balance entertainment with responsibility, for sports betting operators to improve transparency and user experience, and for regulators to establish clearer guidelines on advertising practices. Future research should consider longitudinal approaches and extend analysis to additional social media platforms to capture evolving public attitudes toward sports betting.

ABSTRACT This article explores how law schools in Australia and Hong Kong address digital disruption, particularly legaltech, and whether curricula equip graduates to manage structural and business-model shifts in legal services. Using a systematic survey of course handbooks identified through keyword searches and coded by inclusion and exclusion criteria, the study maps documented legaltech education. Course descriptions were cross-checked with faculty webpages where possible, though reliance on published handbooks is noted as a limitation. Findings reveal that while legaltech offerings are growing, they remain uneven and fragmented. This gap supports the central argument: law schools must move beyond isolated technology modules to fostering adaptability and change management skills. Practical barriers—such as high software costs and limited staff expertise—further constrain reform despite pedagogical intent. By situating these challenges within broader debates on hybrid legal roles and regulatory disruption, the article underscores the need for legal education to evolve beyond technical knowledge toward preparing graduates for dynamic professional models.

Mobile chatbot technology is a promising tool for delivering prenatal education, particularly during public health crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic. However, little is known about pregnant women's firsthand experiences with such digital tools in clinical settings. The purpose of this study was to explore women's perceptions of a specific chatbot intervention. A qualitative descriptive study was conducted with 11 first-trimester pregnant women recruited from a university-affiliated hospital in Taipei, Taiwan. Participants used a maternal chatbot for approximately 30 minutes while waiting for their scheduled outpatient consultation, followed by semi-structured, face-to-face interviews. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis supported by MAXQDA software. Three main themes emerged: initial perceptions, usability, and acceptability of the maternal chatbot. Participants found the chatbot convenient and helpful for learning about early pregnancy, and expected it to be especially useful during wait times. They also identified certain limitations, such as inadequate keyword search, a lack of personalized content, and the absence of empathetic human interaction. Some preferred the immediacy and familiarity of Google searches, while others valued the credibility of the vetted health information provided by the chatbot. The maternal chatbot was generally perceived as a useful supplementary tool for prenatal education. However, users' expectations of emotional engagement and system functionality were found to influence its perceived effectiveness. Designs in the future should incorporate improved searchability, broader health topics, and optional human support to enhance users' experiences of digital maternal care.

Weight stigma is pervasive in pregnancy care. However, there is limited research on how pregnant women with higher body weight experience stigma through language documented in electronic health records (EHR). The purpose of this study was to examine the association between higher body weight and stigmatizing language documented in the EHR during the hospital birth admission. We used EHR data from women over 20 weeks of gestation admitted to two large metropolitan hospitals in the Northeast United States between 2017 and 2019. The primary exposure was higher body weight. We identified women with higher body weight with ICD-10 codes and keyword searches for terms associated with higher body weight in clinical notes. Study outcomes were the presence of any stigmatizing language and four subcategories of stigmatizing language documented in the clinical note. We employed logistic regression to calculate unadjusted and adjusted associations. After adjusting for covariates, women with higher body weight were more likely to have any stigmatizing language documented compared to women without higher body weight in birth hospitalization notes (adjusted odds ratio [aOR] = 1.10, 95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.01, 1.20). Women with higher body weight were also more likely to have language documented from the marginalized language/identities category (aOR = 1.38, 95% CI = 1.20, 1.59). Women with higher body weight experience stigma in clinical documentation. Findings support the need for clinician training in equitable documentation and the removal of stigmatizing terms from clinic documents and workflows to promote perinatal health equity.

The article’s primary purpose was to explore the potential of Internet searches for keywords that were related to the polish housing market in order to understand the public’s current preferences or reactions to changes in the market environment. The research used data that was downloaded from Google Trend (RSV) from 2010 through 2024. The Granger causality test was then applied to the relationship between RSV and housing prices, and a Bayesian structural time-series model was applied to examine the impact of the external intervention (COVID-19) on the RSV dynamics. The results indicated that significant changes in the market environment could influence fluctuations in interest in housing, as was evidenced by the changes in the online searches. The article respectfully suggests that a more nuanced understanding of market dynamics might be achieved through a thoughtful integration of classical economic data with non-classical Internet data.

The recent U.S. Senate hearing on child safety failures in major social media platforms, gender bias in Amazon’s recruitment algorithms, and privacy lawsuits against Google over vague location tracking illustrate how software can neglect human values with societal and economic consequences. Addressing such oversights requires understanding how design choices impact values. GitHub Issues provide a key venue where these choices are documented: through feature requests, improvements, and bug reports, they capture both technical complexities and the tradeoffs reflecting stakeholders’ beliefs. They thus offer insights into how values such as privacy, fairness, and inclusivity influence and are shaped by software design. Yet inferring value alignments, often implied rather than explicit, demands complex reasoning beyond keyword searches and cannot be done manually at scale. In this paper, we use a Large Language Model (LLM) to infer (detect and explain) the alignment of GitHub Issues with human values across three open-source projects, and evaluate the accuracy of the findings through human evaluation.

De novo oligometastatic breast cancer (OMBC) is often defined as up to five metastases in two or fewer organs at presentation. Studies have suggested favorable outcomes for patients with OMBC; however, management remains controversial. We analyzed outcomes of patients with de novo OMBC treated with physician-expressed curative intent at a single institution. We identified patients by performing a keyword search for terms of interest within institutional electronic medical records. We defined OMBC as four or fewer metastases in one organ. Primary surgery was required for inclusion in the analytic cohort. Recurrence-free survival (RFS) and overall survival (OS) were evaluated using Kaplan-Meier methods. Thirty-nine patients were identified: 12 hormone receptor-positive (HR+)/HER2+ , 2 HR-negative (HR-)/HER2-, 21 HR+ /HER2-, and 4 HR-/HER2+ . Thirty-three patients (84.6%) had 1 metastasis at diagnosis. Median age was 47years (28-69). Twenty-nine patients (74.4%) underwent adjuvant radiation to the breast. Two-thirds of patients underwent metastasis-directed therapy. Five-year OS was 77% (95% CI 61-95%). Median RFS was 7.1years (95% CI 4.62-not reached). Five-year RFS was 58% (95% CI 42-81%). Survival outcomes were favorable among this select cohort. Optimal treatment for de novo OMBC remains unclear. Curative intent trials are underway for HER2+ de novo OMBC.

Enteric infections remain a major health and economic challenge in swine production, with outcomes determined not only by pathogen virulence but also by the complex interplay between host genetics, immune competence, and the intestinal microbiota. This review synthesises current knowledge on host–pathogen genomic interactions in pigs, with a focus on resilience mechanisms against enteric diseases in swine. For this purpose, 103 articles were used as information sources, retrieved through structured keyword searches in PubMed. The review first addresses host genetic factors, highlighting genomic variants and quantitative trait loci associated with resistance or resilience to viral and bacterial pathogens such as porcine epidemic diarrhoea virus (PEDV) or Escherichia coli. Next, the key factors of the immune system to confer protection are also reviewed, emphasising the role of innate and adaptive responses in controlling each pathogen and disclosing the contribution of regulatory networks that balance pathogen clearance. Finally, the last section of the review is devoted to exploring current knowledge in the involvement of the microbiota in resilience against enteric pathogens, mostly, but not exclusively, enteric bacteria. In this sense, competitive exclusion is a concept which has gained attention in recent years. The review pinpoints and discusses the state of the art about how the microbial community provides colonisation resistance, shapes immune development, and influences pathogen fitness within the intestinal niche. As final perspectives, the review explores future drivers in the genetic immune and microbiota resistance. By bridging host genomic data with functional insights into immunity and microbial ecology, this review underscores the potential of multi-omics approaches to enhance resilience against enteric infections in pigs and advance sustainable swine health management.

Obesity is a well-established risk factor for diabetes; however, its association with prediabetes remains controversial. Here, we aimed to assess the association between obesity and prediabetes risk. A systematic literature review was conducted using PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Scopus, and Ovid through 3 May 2025, using keyword searches. We included cohort studies that assessed the association between anthropometric indices, specifically body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC), and prediabetes risk, operationalised as the development of prediabetes during the longitudinal investigation. We performed multiple meta-analyses assessing BMI and WC as continuous and categorical variables, including dose-response relationships with prediabetes risk. Of the 8434 records retrieved from the primary search, 28 were included in the meta-analysis. Considering BMI as both a continuous and a categorical variable indicated significant associations with prediabetes risk (risk ratio [RR]: 1.10 (95% CI: 1.03, 1.17) and RR: 1.52 (95% CI: 1.19, 1.94), respectively). The dose-response analysis confirmed a linear association between a 1-unit increase in BMI and a 4.6% increase in the risk of prediabetes. However, there was no significant association between WC and prediabetes risk either as a continuous or categorical variable. This study supports the use of BMI as a risk marker for prediabetes, whereas WC showed no significant association. While substantial heterogeneity and limited WC data warrant caution, the findings underscore the value of monitoring general obesity for early risk stratification and to prevent glycemic deterioration.

Sexual violence (SV) is a significant concern in higher education. Regarding varsity athletes, between 29% and 45% have experienced SV, while nearly half report consequences that negatively impact their functioning, yet less than 10% formally report these incidents. This literature review aimed to identify risk factors and prevention recommendations for SV among varsity athletes. A literature review was conducted between May 2023 and July 2024 using keyword searches in academic databases (Ebsco, ProQuest, Érudit) and Google. Inclusion criteria included publications from 2012 onwards (reflecting post-#MeToo impact), English or French language, and a specific focus on varsity athletes. This literature review yielded 31 initial references (27 scientific, 4 grey literature), with an additional 20 articles later incorporated from key scientific references of this review. Results revealed risk factors across a four-level social-ecological model: individual (gender, sexual orientation, age), relational (social drinking situations, relationship dynamics), organizational (athletic subcultures), and societal (culture of silence, traditional masculine values). Prevention findings highlight the effectiveness of long-term interventions that incorporate peer/coach education, deconstructing myths, and bystander programmes, while avoiding single-session or online-only formats. Nine specific prevention programmes were examined and described, showing some promising results despite limited evaluation in higher education sports contexts. This review highlighted significant knowledge gaps, including limited research outside the United States, on diverse varsity athlete populations and regarding organizational risk factors.

This research aims to identify trends in recent migration research and provide a deep understanding of the field, focusing on the broad and interdisciplinary nature of migration research. 50 studies, identified through "migration, immigration and refugee" keyword searches in the Web of Science database and providing an overview of immigration, were examined through content analysis. Using the "Migration and Immigrant Research Publication Classification Form" developed by the researchers, the disciplinary field, subject, method, data collection tools and suggestions of the articles were evaluated. In research where descriptive methods have a significant intensity, studies on migration and society-family have come to the fore. In the suggestions for researchers, migration and basic concepts and migration and health themes are dominant, while in the research for decision makers, suggestions for migration and economy and migration and society-family issues are dominant. In conclusion; The interdisciplinary necessity of approaches to migration, the need for more comprehensive research on migration and education, migration and economy, harmonization of national laws regarding migration with international standards, the effects of religious identities and religious phenomena on migration are more important. It has become clear that it needs to be examined comprehensively. It is a critical situation that research should focus on displaced persons rather than voluntary immigrants, that studies should adopt an nterdisciplinary approach that requires the participation of experts from different disciplines, and most importantly, that "human" oriented policies should be developed. This research may inspire researchers to improve the lives of immigrants and to create a more livable world together.

Immunotherapy (IT) and especially immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) changed the therapeutic approach in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Nevertheless, primary or secondary resistance and a percentage of long responders and survivors have been observed. The aim of this study is to gain a deeper understanding of the complex mechanisms of primary and secondary resistance to IT, involving tumor cells, the tumor microenvironment (TME), and the host, in order to find strategies to overcome it. With this aim in mind, a search for key words has been performed to identify relevant evidence in the literature. The most widely used approach is the combination of IT with chemotherapy (CT) and/or radiotherapy (RT), relying on the synergistic effect on the enhancement of immunogenic cell death. Since a dual role has been observed, a lot of questions are yet to be answered regarding the complex effect of these therapies, especially on the TME. Preclinical and clinical studies investigate the best sequencing and timing of chemoradiation with IT, and the optimal RT volumes, sites, and dose/fractionation regimens to favor immune stimulation over suppression on the TME. Moving forward, multiple agents addressing coinhibitory or costimulatory receptors on immune or tumor cells are under evaluation. The huge potential of combination therapies becoming apparent. Questions regarding targets, selection of patients, and time and sequence of administration are yet to be answered, considering the complex mechanisms of resistance. Dynamic biomarkers to guide personalized treatment decisions are needed.

Aim: This study reassesses the nature of international trade costs by examining both conventional barriers (e.g., tariffs, transportation costs) and unconventional ones (e.g., cultural, institutional, and conflict-related frictions). Special attention is given to conceptualizing interstate soft conflicts – non-violent, informal tensions between countries that can disrupt trade without relying on formal sanctions or militarized force. It revisits the author’s previously introduced concept of “interstate soft conflict” within a broader framework of trade resistance and informal economic pressures. Methods: A qualitative case study approach was used to identify 20 instances of interstate soft conflict between 2000 and 2020. Cases were gathered through systematic keyword searches across media and public sources and categorized based on the type of conflict (direct or indirect), the actors involved (state, organization, or individual), and the nature of the actions taken (e.g., boycotts, protests, diplomatic retaliation). Results: The analysis reveals that interstate soft conflicts, though informal and non-institutional, can act as de facto trade barriers. They emerge from political, ethical, and cultural disputes and often lead to reputational damage, reduced trade engagement, and shifts in consumer behavior. These conflicts operate across multiple channels – state-led, organization-led, and consumer-led – and reflect broader geopolitical and ideological divides. Conclusions: In an era where formal trade barriers are declining, informal tensions are becoming a more significant source of trade friction. Recognizing interstate soft conflicts as part of the trade cost landscape is essential for understanding contemporary trade patterns and for designing policies that are resilient to both institutional and informal disruptions

ABSTRACT With the release of the UN’s 2030 Agenda, sport organisations are now regarded as important contributors to sustainability. To formalise their approaches and actions, sport organisations have engaged in developing policies that work towards achieving sustainability. Despite these efforts, research into sport organisations’ policies for sustainable development remains limited. The aim of this study is, therefore, to map the policy work of national sport organisations that targets sustainable development. Sweden serves as the basis of our study. To identify relevant documents, we conducted a keyword search on the websites of all Swedish sport organisations (n = 73). These documents were analysed using an adapted version of the policy integration assessment framework . Of the 73 identified organisations, 12 had established framework documents and only four had a clearly labelled sustainable development policy. Sustainable development was conceptualised as being multidimensional, meaning that social, environmental, and economic dimensions were addressed along with the 2030 Agenda and various Sustainable Development Goals. We found that a variety of sustainable development objectives had been formulated in line with these conceptualisations. However, actions for achieving these objectives were limited in scope which raises questions regarding the effectiveness of these policies for governance. In summary, Swedish sport organisations are engaging in sustainable development policy work in very different ways. Even though commitments to sustainable development are made on paper, putting these into practice is likely complicated by issues of alignment between the objectives and actions, and between sport organisations.

This study aims to analyze the social impact of the drama ‘Jeongnyeoni’ on the forgotten traditional performing arts of ‘Korean Woman’s Opera’ and ‘Changgeuk’ in general. The drama ‘Jeongnyeoni’ is considered a significant case study demonstrating how popular culture content can transform the perception and value of cultural heritage. This study combines theoretical analysis, including cultural diffusion theory, with online keyword search data analysis and a comparison with international examples. The results demonstrate that the drama ‘Jeongnyeoni’ brought forgotten Korean Woman’s Opera into the public sphere, elevating it to a “hip and meaningful” new form of cultural capital. A comparative analysis with Japan's Takarazuka Revue explores the relationship between cultural interpellation by the media and institutional sustainability, and offers policy recommendations for developing the ‘Jeongnyeoni’ phenomenon into a sustainable cultural movement.
