Research entitled “The influence of interpersonal communication and economy status toward Chinese-Javanese Ethnic Assimilation ini Gunung Anyar Tambak Sub District Area Surabaya City” base on idea that human who live in the midst multi ethnic scope. The misunderstanding could be happen in understanding these symbols, even though employed when interaction or communication between people who difference cultures, such as community in Gunung Anyar Tambak and surrounding, cause those area most of them settled Chinese and Javanese. This research intend to recognized : 1). Whether there are found influence interpersonal communication or not toward Chinese and Javanese ethnic assimilation in Gunung Anyar Tambak Sub District Area Surabaya City; 2). Whether there are found influence economy social status or not toward Chenese and Javanese ethnic assimilation in Gunung Anyar Tambak Sub District Area Surabaya City; 3). Whether there are found influence interpersonal communication and economy social status or not toward Chinese and Javanese ethnic assimilation in Gunung Anyar Tambak Sub District Area Surabaya City. Research approach used were interpersonal interaction and quantitative model.
 The results gained namely a) Interpersonal communication and economy social status simultaneously have significant influence toward Chinese and Javanese Ethnic assimilatin in Gunung Anyar Tambak Sub District Area Surabaya City; b) Partially interpersonal communicatin have significant influence toward Chinese and Javanese ethnic assimilation in Gunung Anyar Tambak Sub District Area Surabaya City; c) Partially economy social status does not have significant influence influence toward Chinese and Javanese ethnic assimilation in Gunung Anyar Tambak Sub District Area Surabaya City. To realizing assimilation between Chinese and Javanese, desirable people from both ethnic could be developing interpersonal communication in interaction, it is could be done by following meeting with surrounding community, openness each other in building communication and creating understanding (emphaty) on other event which forego another ethnic (out group) then will sprout out tolerance and solidarity inter ethnics.

Kontestasi Pro Dan Kontra Ritual Petik Laut Pada Masyarakat Nelayan Puger Jember

Petik laut ceremony is an activity undertaken by the Puger fisherman community,ethnic backgrounds, religions and culure are diverse, it makes people have particular view in doing that activity that communities are from ethnic Javanese,madurese, mandarin ethnic, and also Chinese ethnic.petik laut is a ritualceremony conducted puger fisherman community to express theirgratitude to the good, the harvest sea, sailing towards salvation in the lord and is done every os Suroor muharram month every year. The goal of the ceremony of petik laut in puger are they hope will get a lot of fishes, the safety when they were fishing and sailing. There are some contradiction between the majority of fisherman and religious leader or ulama that deal with petik laut ceremony. Most of religious leader disagree about petik laut ceremony because of the believe of the fisherman that they will get much fish when the petik laut ceremony were undertaken. Its about believe that Allah only one that give us safety and sustenance or treasure (fishes). Most of fisherman community belive that petik laut ceremony as agent to be safety and about sustenance. In contrast with most of religious leader or ulama that supposed petik laut ceremony is shirk (syirik) in Islamic religion. The contrast thougt between fisherman community and religious leader about petik laut ceremony will not become the conflict because of the awareness of them to be in good social interaction. Mutual cooperation and togetherness still alive in their community in Puger Jember.

Protein-Based Biomaterial Marker in Metabolic Syndrome and Colorectal Cancer: A Preliminary Clinical Study of Betatrophin Expression in Javanese Ethnic

The presence of specific and unique chemical structure of a protein with their bioavailability properties provide a hallmark of the essential contribution of the biomaterials. Protein-based biomaterials become a novel trend in the biomedical field, particularly on clinical management and biomarker development. Blinding proteins and other materials in an advanced technological approach is crucial to generating protein-based biomaterials for biomedical. Recently, liver-derived protein, betatrophin/lipasin/ANGPTL-8 showed a potential property as the future biomaterial marker for early detection of gastrointestinal cancer related metabolic syndrome. The betatrophin expression is significantly correlated with cancer incidence and lipid metabolism disorder in a subject with obesity, type 2 diabetes, and insulin resistance. This clinical study aimed to develop betatrophin as the potential protein-based biomaterial marker in colorectal cancer (CRC) and metabolic syndrome, especially among Indonesian subjects. Our preliminary study focuses on Java ethnic as the dominant population with a higher incidence of CRC. The general anthropometric data were collected from CRC patients with different stages and metastasis status. The expression of betatrophin and metastasis related genes were quantified by real-time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR). Interestingly, the basic profile of betatrophin and genes linked to cancer metastasis showed significant expression in our baseline data. Betatrophin/lipasin/ANGPTL-8 activity correlated to another gene that involved in the progression of cell migration and malignant cell invasion. Thus, we suggested that the alteration of betatrophin and its related genes expression may associate with the progression of CRC incidence in a subject with onset metabolic syndrome. Betatrophin could be proposed as the novel protein-based biomaterial marker in an individual with early stages of colorectal cancer. Therefore, the future expanded clinical study is necessary to well establish the biomaterial property of this liver protein in CRC diagnosis and prognosis.

Faktor - faktor yang mempengaruhi migrasi masuk di Kota Jambi (studi kasus etnis Jawa di Kelurahan Buluran Kenali)

Research objectives: 1) To determine the characteristics of Javanese ethnic groups in Buluran Kenali Village; 2) To find out and analyze the influence of age, origin, education level and length of stay on the income of Javanese ethnic migrant residents in the Buluran Kenali Village. The data used in this study are primary data obtained from survey results by distributing questionnaires and interviews. The analytical method used in this study is descriptive and quantitative analysis methods, using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicates that the average age of migrants is 44 years old, married with a total of 2 people, education that has completed an average of 10 years comes directly from Java, with the reason of moving to Jambi City due to family invitation and knowing the City Jambi from family/friends. From the results of multiple linear regression it is known that age, origin, level of education, length of stay have an effect on and significantly affect the income of ethnic Javanese migrants in Jambi City. Partially, age, education and length of stay influence and significantly affect the income of Javanese ethnic migrants in Jambi City, while the origin does not affect and the income of ethnic Javanese migrants in Jambi City.

Kapital Simbolik Sebagai Identitas Keluarga Besar Studi Kasus Komunitas Bani Ma’shum di Kecamatan Jatibarang Brebes Jawa Tengah

This paper describes symbolic capital that owned by an extended family community, Bani Ma'shum. The theory is Bourdieu's concept of habitus, fields, and symbolic capital. This paper uses a qualitative method to explain the survival of the Bani Ma'shum community in district Jatibarang Brebes, Central of Java. This paper describe Bani Ma'shum as a large family community of Javanese ethnicity. Values and experiences based on the Javanese habitus they applied to their activity everyday. The use of the concept of bani is not just naming, but also show that Arab habitus has also been constructed into this community. Bani Ma'shum was formed in NU (ahli sunnah wal jama'ah) community. Bani Ma'shum has several capital, there are social, cultural, politic, economy, and symbolic capital. These capital play in three arenas: socio-religious, politic, and economy. From other capitals, symbolic capital is most plays as important role for members of Bani Ma'shum. Because with symbolic capital members of Bani Ma’shum can access other capital. Bani Ma'shum distinction is based on blood ties and family lineage. This family membership is only based on blood ties and not everyone can enter the Bani Ma'shum family, except by marry their child of Bani Ma'shum family.

STRATEGI KESANTUNAN BERBAHASA SUKU JAWA DALAM INTERAKSI ANTARSUKU DI HALMAHERA UTARA

Politeness Strategies in the Javanese Language in Interaction between Ethnicities in North Halmahera. This research was conducted to describe the perception of North Halmahera’s citizens towards the Javanese Ethnic’s speech politeness. The research strategy used was the qualitative research design which is assisted with quantitative design. The findings of this research show the scale of The Javanese Ethnic’s speech politeness according to the perception of North Halmahera’s citizens which has been sorted in this following order: 1) apologizing, 2) sympathizing, 3) pleasantries, 4) avoiding disputes, 5) optimistic, 6) respectful, 7) not forcing, 8) indirect, 9) modesty, 10) jokes, 11) involving speech partners in speech activities, 12) native identity markers, and 13) presumptions.

NILAI KERUKUNAN DAN KEKELUARGAAN ETNIS JAWA DALAM TRADISI AMONG-AMONG (Studi Pada Etnis Jawa Di Desa Magelang Kecamatan Kerkap Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara)

The tradition among all is a Javanese tradition carried out to commemorate the birthday of someone in the Javanese calendar. One of the Javanese who still carries out the traditions among the Javanese is in Magelang Village, Kerkap District, North Bengkulu Regency. This study aims to examine the value of harmony and family values ​​of ethnic Javanese in the tradition of among those in the village of Magelang. The method of this research is qualitative research using Roland Barthes's semiotic analysis. Determination of informants in this study was purposive sampling and data collection using observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that Charcoal (symbolizing the furnace in the kitchen), money (all human needs purchased with money), rice (indicating cooked food), banana leaves (as a base for eating), red porridge (symbolizing maternal blood), porridge white (symbolizing father's sperm cells), fern leaves (as traditional medicine), dadap leaves (as traditional medicine when children are sick), eggs (as the center in ngepong emong), and urap (symbolizing ancient simplicity), while developing myths about the tradition of among the people is that this tradition is carried out to ask for the safety of the child to avoid being disturbed by supernatural beings. The value of harmony and family values ​​of Javanese ethnic in Magelang Village are maintained and intertwined with the implementation of these traditions. The community still adheres to the philosophy "manganese manganese is important to collect" to become their foundation in maintaining harmony and kinship between them.

Correlation of maxillary and mandibular arch form and tooth size ratio in ethnic Javanese malocclusion patient

Aims: Arch form is one of the important components that can relapse after orthodontic treatment. The relationship is between arch form and tooth size ratio (TSR) need to be evaluated that could help to determine extraction or nonextraction treatment in malocclusion. The aim of this study was to analyze the correlation of maxillary and mandibular arch forms with TSR in ethnic Javanese Malocclusion Patient at Airlangga University Dental Hospital. Materials and Methods: This study was an observational, analytical study with cross-sectional and total sampling method. The samples consisted of 135 model study were chosen according to the inclusion criteria and distributed into malocclusion Class I, Class II, and Class III Angle's classification. All the samples were analyzed using Bolton's anterior and overall ratio, and the maxillary and mandibular arch forms were detected using mathematical ratio using (canine depth/molar depth (MD))/(canine width [CW]/molar width [MW]). Statistical Analysis: The correlation of maxillary and mandibular arch form with clinically significant TSR using Bolton's analysis is interpreted using Pearson correlation test (P 0.05) was found. While the anterior TSR in Class I Angle's malocclusion has a significant correlation with inter-CW in mandibular arch (P < 0.05). Conclusions: TSR was not affected by types of arch form either in maxillary or mandibular while the anterior TSR in Class I Angle's malocclusion did.

EFFECTIVENESS AND MECHANISM OF PHYSICIAN HERBS FROM KALI PUTIH BATUR BANJARNEGARA CENTRAL JAVA AGAINST DIABETIC NEPHROPATHY

Objectives: Complications in the kidneys (nephropathy) are one of the chronic complications of diabetes mellitus (DM) most common microvascular and estimated to reach 30–40% of all sufferers of DM. Until now there is no cure drug that can prevent diabetic nephropathy. Therefore, the handling of this issue should be done seriously, one of them through an exploration of drug discovery and drug material. Ristoja in 2015 in the ethnic Javanese Banyumasan successfully explores the types of plants, herb, and traditional medicine culture. One is conducted by the Kaliputih Traditional Medicine, Batur, Banjarnegara, Central Java. Based on the results of the interview, traditional medicine has herb for disease therapy kidney failure which consists of 11 species of plants.Methods: The herbs were extracted by infundation method. Sprague Dawley albino male rats were divided into 3 groups (normal, positive, and negative) and 3 sample test groups with 3 different doses (18, 36, and 54 mL/kg body weight [BW]) previously induced streptozotocin. Observations were carried on the levels blood urea nitrogen (BUN), creatinine, uric acid, and nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB), cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), and transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) kidney immunohistochemically and histology analysis.Results: Statistical results showed a significant increase of BUN levels in all dose variation groups after being given herbs, compared to the negative control group. The result of the examination of biochemical parameters of creatinine levels statistic showed significant (p&lt;0.05) decrease in the dose 18 and 36 mL/kg BW compare with the negative group. The result of the study on histopathology kidney organs there are are damages to each test in each organ that is necrosis. The result of NF-κB, COX-2, and TGF-β expression no significant decrease compared with the negative controls.Conclusion: The herbs are not capable of nephropathy diabetic and need more research to know that activity as nephroprotective.

Correlation between vertical components and skeletal Class II malocclusion in ethnic Javanese.

IntroductionThe dentoskeletal morphology of Class II malocclusion has been analyzed in several cephalometric investigations. It is crucially important to understand the vertical components in orthodontic treatment. Defining the facial type of an individual is an essential key to obtain an accurate orthodontic diagnosis.AimThe aim of this study was to understand the correlation of vertical components in Class II skeletal malocclusion.Materials and methodsThis is a observational descriptive study. This study used lateral cephalograms of Class II skeletal malocclusion from Universitas Airlangga Dental Hospital, between April 2015 and 2016. Cephalometric analysis was performed using digital software by a single examiner. This analysis measured gonial (Go), upper gonial (Go1), lower gonial (Go2), Yaxis-SN angle, the length of anterior face height, and posterior face height. The correlation between each variable was analyzed using the Pearson correlation test (P<0.01).ResultsThere was a correlation between vertical components and Class II skeletal malocclusion.ConclusionVertical components were correlated with Class II skeletal malocclusion. The greater ANB angle will be followed by greater Go2, which worsens the condition of Class II skeletal malocclusion.

PENENTUAN RUMUS TINGGI BADAN BERDASARKAN PANJANG JEJAK KAKI PADA ETNIS JAWA

Background: Proof of footprints in forensic identification can be used in the determination of personal identification, for example the height. Estimated the height is done by measuring the length of footprints. Based on the literature, height was correlates directly with long bones. Footprints are made by the soles of the feet that are part of the long bones. The calculation of the height is more accurate using the formula derived from the population concerned so that testing needs to be done on each population.&#x0D; Objective: To find out whether there is a correlation between the length of the footprint of a person's height, especially the Javanese ethnic population and determine the estimation formula of height based on the length of the footprint.&#x0D; Methods: The study subjects consisted of 100 men and 100 Javanese ethnic women aged 21-30 years who were taken by consecutive sampling technique. Measurements were made by measuring subject height and footprint imprint then calculated each of the length of right and left footprints.&#x0D; Result: The average height of male Javanese ethnic is 172,36 cm and woman 158,45 cm. The average length of right and left footprints in males is 23,02 cm and female 22 cm. Pearson correlation test on all subjects had r value of 0.968 for right footprint and r 0.967 for left footprint. On the male subject has r value 0.908 for right foot print and r 0.902 for left footprint. In the female subject has r value 0.927 for the right foot print and r 0.931 for the left footprint.&#x0D; Conclusion: There is a strong relationship between the length of a person's footprint with height and this study has earned a formula of height estimation based on the length of the footprint on the Javanese.&#x0D; Keywords: height, footprint, identification, Javanese ethnics

Puger Wetan Village is a coastal area consisting of ethnic Javanese, Madurese, Mandar, Using, Chinese, and Arabic. The existence of multiethnic makes the connecting language becomes indispensable as a communication medium. Using the ethnographic analysis of communication, this study looked at how people in Puger Wetan Village chose the language of communication or lingua franca. Coastal communities in Puger Wetan Village use Javanese as the liaison language or lingua franca. Perbedaan Locus Of Control Ditinjau dari Etnis

In behaving towards what happens in him, man will be oriented in two directions, there are individuals who believe that what happens to him is the result of his own efforts, on the contrary there are individuals who believe that the events that occur are influences from outside the self. This belief is called the locus of control. Each individual has a difference in the locus of control. This difference is influenced by several factors, one of which is ethnicity. This study aims to describe the locus of control of individuals belonging to the ethnic Kerinci, Java and Minang, and reveal differences in the locus of control of the three ethnic groups. This research uses quantitative approach with descriptive and comparative method. The sampling technique used is simple random side with total number 230 students. The instrument used is Internal Rotters inventory -External Locus of Control (I-E Scale). Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and one way anova. The findings of this study include: 1) locus of control of ethnic Javanese students tend to external, while ethnic Kerinci and Minang reside in internal. However, the third locus of control score is not far behind the median locus of control; and 2) there are differences in locus of control of students who have ethnic Kerinci, Java and Minang. The researcher suggested to the Counselor Teacher / Counselor to always pay attention deeply and sensitively to the condition of the foster students, including the locus of control aspect. These efforts can be made by applying several counseling services with certain approaches that are theoretically proven effective in forming an internal locus of control. Parents should also provide understanding to the children about all the events that happen to him and how to react. Subsequently to other researchers, the results of this research need to be addressed and followed up by adding samples and considering some other characteristics, such as gender, age, social demography, economic and family status, religion, and others.

DARI IMIGRASI MENUJU INTEGRASI: PERANAN ETNIS JAWA DALAM POLITIK DI SURINAME (1991- 2015)

This bachelor thesis titled “The political role of Javanese Ethnic in Suriname (1991- 2015), the main issues raised in this research is “How was the political role of Javanese ethnic in Suriname 1991- 2015?”. The main problem in this thesis divided into four questions, namely: (1) Why did Javanese Ethnic interested in Suriname’s politics? (2) How was the political development in Suriname in 1991- 2015? (3) How was the contribution of Javanese ethnic in Suriname in 1991-2015? (4) How was the impact of the political role of Javanese ethnic in Suriname in 1991- 2015? (3). That four questions become the basic and the main problem in this research. This research uses the historical method includes the four steps in it, such as heuristic, critic, interpretations and historiography. Meanwhile, the data collection techniques that used in this research is literature studies, by examining the sources that relevant with the problems in this research. The approach in this research using interdisciplinary approaches by using the concept of politics, anthropology and sociology. The politics concepts that used is political party and government. The concept used from anthropology is ethnic, and the concepts from sociology is social mobility and adaptation theory. The main content of this research is the role of Javanese ethnic as newcomers in politics in Suriname. This research explains that the existence of discrimination policy by the Suriname’s special autonomy government against Javanese Ethnic who were reputed as the newcomers that made them joined politics in Suriname by establishing Javanese parties, entering the government and parliament, so that giving the impact for the Javanese ethnic on the modern era, there are many important political figures in Suriname who served as the head of parliament, prime minister and the candidate of Suriname’s president.

Perbandingan Gaya Belanja Etnis Sunda dan Jawa

Every consumer has different style and considerations in making decisions when they are faced with choices of products. Indonesian society tends to like to shop (sophaholic). The survey showed that 93 percent of Indonesian rather going to shopping centers. Indonesian was in second ranked after Hong Kong’s for shopping tendency. Indonesia was ranked second after Hong Kong's shopping tendency in society. Based on this phenomenon, this study will focus on Indonesian consumer shopping styles and trying to find out and compare the Sundanese and Javanese ethnic shopping styles. Analysis units used are the society who shops in supermarket or hypermarket in Bandung and Surabaya. This study used primary data by surveys and distributing questionnaire. The sampling technique used was an area probability sampling. The survey was conducted at the site of modern shopping centers where there are supermarkets and hypermarkets. Data were analyzed using the software Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) and LISREL. Descriptive analysis carried out by confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and frequency distribution analysis. Both of these analyzes yield a picture of consumer shopping style CFA is used to formulate a new dimension of shopping style shown by consumer in Indonesia. The results showed that when shopping at the supermarket, Indonesian people showed hedonic shopping styles, innovation, perfectionist, brand orientation, doubt, spontaneous, loyalty, promotional sensitivity, and female gender roles. Sundanese ethnic consumer shopping styles differ significantly by Javanese ethnic. Although it shows the difference, the two ethnic groups have the same style of shopping, the perfectionist, brand-oriented, doubt, spontaneous, and gender sensitive

Menstrual cycle patterns of Indonesian adolescents

Background Adolescents often experience menstrual irregularity in the first few years after menarche. Abnormal menstrual cycles may increase the risk of polycystic ovary syndrome.&#x0D; Objective To determine the menstrual cycle patterns of adolescent females in Indonesia and associated factors.&#x0D; Methods This cross-sectional study was conducted at two senior high schools in Surakarta, Central Java, from September to October 2016. Subjects were healthy female students whose parents have given written informed consent. Girls taking hormonal drugs or with chronic diseases were excluded. Subjects filled questionnaires on menstrual cycle, diet, ethnicity, and physical activity. All subjects underwent anthropometric measurements (height and weight). Kruskal-Wallis test was used for data analysis.&#x0D; Results Four hundred and forty-four subjects met the inclusion criteria. Mean age at menarche was 12.27 (SD 1.08) years. Mean menstrual cycle length was 31.1 (SD 6.5) days. Abnormal menstrual cycle occurred in 30.6% of subjects (24.5% oligomenorrhea, 5.9% polymenorrhea, and 0.2% amenorrhea). Ethnicity (Javanese, Chinese, or Arab) was significantly associated with menstrual cycle category (P&lt;0.05). Girls with Chinese ethnicity having the largest proportion of oligomenorrhea. Other factors (body mass index, age, age at menarche, nutritional status, physical activity, and fat intake) were not found to be associated with menstrual cycle abnormalities.&#x0D; Conclusion Menstrual abnormalities, especially oligomenorrhea, are common in Indonesian adolescent girls. Oligomenorrhea is more frequent in girls of Chinese ethnicity, compared to those of Javanese or Arab ethnicity.

Dimensions of the Javanese culture and the role of Parents in instilling values in creative industry entrepreneurship

This paper reveals how the sources of Javanese culture, which has been instilled by parents of children as the new generation of the successor to the family business, can act as values of sources of inspiration which shapes the behavior of entrepreneurship in the creative industry. Entrepreneurship in family businesses uses these Javanese values as the standards of the family's belief, which makes the principles as an identity that guides them in entrepreneurship and creates a way of life in the running entrepreneurialism. The method used in this research is a social constructionist, narrative and interpretive. The narrative-based research approach is done through data collection with depth interview, and non-participatory observation as well as analysis of the theme that create the methodological foundation. The ideas emerged and developed from in narrative face-to-face that became a proposition of research findings. Findings clearly indicate the relationship between Javanese cultures which is owned by parents has been the values that are believed by the second generation and this has motivated their behavior entrepreneurship, and impact the learning element of entrepreneurship, as well as orientation in entrepreneurship. The internalization of the values of Javanese culture Bapakisme (paternalism) and Rukun (harmony) have motivated the behavior of entrepreneurship when running a business relationship. Javanese cultural values implemented in the form of obedience to parents, keeping harmony, learning competitors, watching of God, sincere, assertive, fortune flows, trust, motivating, cultivation of religious values, and independent values. The research provides new insights into the culture of entrepreneurship at the local level and links the insights to the cultivation of cultural values in entrepreneurship, which is realized in everyday behavior. The construct built provides the possibility of new learning materials for the perpetrators of entrepreneurs in Indonesia, where 47% of the population of Indonesia is Javanese ethnicity.

Palatal rugae comparison between ethnic Javanese and non-Javanese

Palatal rugae patterns are thought to remain unchanged from the beginning of formation until the death of the individual, and as unique as fingerprints. This study aimed to compare palatal rugae between ethnic Javanese and non-Javanese in Indonesia. The study sample consisted of maxillary casts from 47 Javanese and 53 non-Javanese subjects. The patterns of palatal rugae were recorded based on the Thomas and Kotze classification. In the results, the only variable with indicated significant difference between the sample populations was observed in the lower frequency of circular shape rugae for the non-Javanese group. The value of this frequency as a population-level indicator is reduced by the relative rarity of this rugae shape.

IDENTIFIKASI MUTASI H63D GEN HFE PADA KELAINAN HBE

The H63D HFE mutation has been reported to be responsible for primary haemochromatosis. The allele frequency in Indonesianpopulation is about 2.8%. Co inheritance between H63D mutation and hemoglobin disorders such as Thalassemia may increase theseverity of iron overload. Nevertheless, the coinheritance of this mutation with HbE disorder is the most common hemoglobin disorderin Indonesia and the gene frequency have not been reported especially in Javanese ethnic. To identify the presence and the frequency ofH63D HFE mutation in HbE disorder among Javanese ethnic. A cross sectional study involved 24 Javanese individuals who consist of21 HbE heterozygotes (HbAE) and 3 HbE homozygotes (HbEE) subjects. The subjects were screened for H63D mutation by digestion ofPCR products with MbO I restriction endonuclease. The genotype frequency for wt/wt was 95.24% in HbAE, 100% in HbEE and for wt/H63D was 4.76% in HbAE. The allele frequency for H63D HFE mutation was 2.08% in total sample of HbE. The allele frequencies inHbAE and HbEE individual were 2.38% and 0%, respectively. H63D HFE mutation is found in 24 Javanese ethnic individual with HbEdisorder. However, the allele frequency of H63D HFE mutation is low and almost similar to the allele frequency of H63D HFE mutationin Indonesian population.
