ANALYSIS OF THE PROBLEM OF PROTECTION OF INFORMATION IN THE CORPORATE INFORMATION SYSTEMS SEGMENT

Successful use of modern information technologies is impossible without effective management of not only the computer network, but also the IT process. Improvement of information security management is possible both by using new methods for solving the management problem and by increasing the quality of the management effect by reducing the duration of these control periods. Therefore, a reasonable approach to increasing the effectiveness of information security measures can be the development of intelligent decision-making tools related to information management issues. Although active research is currently being conducted on the development of IT methods and systems, there are still many unanswered questions about the creation of methods for creating intelligent PPR tools related to IT management, which indicates a need. Complex solutions to scientific problems aimed at developing not only scientifically based, but also practically applicable models and methods for intellectual support of IT process management.

Development and implementation of ambulatory care pharmacy services at an internal medicine clinic.

This report describes the step-by-step process that led to expansion of ambulatory care pharmacy services at a newly established internal medicine clinic within a patient-centered medical home in North Carolina. Implementation of clinical pharmacist services at the clinic was led by a postgraduate year 2 (PGY2) pharmacy resident and guided by the 9 steps described in the book Building a Successful Ambulatory Care Practice: A Complete Guide for Pharmacists. After a needs assessment and review of the demographics and insurance status of the clinic's target population, it was determined that pharmacist services would focus on quality measures including diabetes nephropathy screening, diabetes eye examination, blood glucose control in diabetes, discharge medication reconciliation, annual wellness visits, and medication adherence in diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, and hypertension. Clinic appointments were conducted under 3 models: a pharmacist-physician covisit model, a "floor model" of pharmacist consultation on drug information or medication management issues during medical resident sign-out sessions with supervising physicians (medical residents could also see patients along with the pharmacist at a covisit appointment), and a covisit model of stacked physician and pharmacist appointments. The pharmacist's services were expanded from 2 half-day clinic sessions per week initially to 5 or 6 half-day clinic sessions by the end of the residency year. By the fourth quarter of the first PGY2 residency year in which ambulatory care pharmacy services were provided in the clinic, the clinical and financial impact of those services justified the addition of a second full-time pharmacist to the clinic team.

Novel AMI in Zigbee Satellite Network Based on Heterogeneous Wireless Sensor Network for Global Machine-to-Machine Connectivity

This study endeavored to enhance the efficiency and utility of microcomputer meters. In the past, their role was predominantly confined to remote meter reading, entailing high construction and communication transmission costs, coupled with subsequent maintenance and operational expenditures. These factors collectively impacted the enthusiasm of various stakeholders to invest in this realm. Hence, in alignment with the smart city development initiative, the natural gas industry has pioneered the establishment of an advanced metering infrastructure with heterogeneous wireless sensor networks (HWSNs) at its core. This visionary leap incorporates global machine-to-machine connectivity (G-M2MC) technology, interconnecting all facets of its operations, thereby positioning itself as a trailblazer within the industry. While advancing this endeavor, the project’s scheduling aligns with the enterprise’s sustainability goals in the early stages of digital transformation. This strategic allocation of resources is responsive to government policies and aspires to cultivate a digitally connected smart green energy hub, thereby expediting the transformation of the living environment. The objective is to provide a stable, secure, cost-effective, and reliable system that can be shared among peers. Furthermore, this study delved into the analysis of congestion avoidance in intelligent Zigbee satellite transport networks based on the HWSNs-GM2MC of non-synchronous satellite orbit system (NGSO) pivotal technologies, utilizing them to integrate the smart LNGas management system (SGMS). Concurrently, it developed application services through the smart meter application interface (SMAPI), distinct from conventional microcomputer meters. However, it is imperative to acknowledge that cloud computing, while processing sensitive data, grapples with issues of latency, privacy, efficiency, power consumption, and zero-trust security risk information management and ethical authority management capabilities in the defense of disaster relief responses.

The healthcare industry may benefit from the implementation of a system that facilitates safe and efficient data transmission if business-to-business (B2B) methods were more widely adopted and used. Many aspects of healthcare, like as patient access to physicians, the efficiency of information trans- mission, and the quality of care received, stand to benefit from this development. However, a primary issue for the development of B2B-based healthcare systems is the inability to handle a large quantity of data generated by smart devices. in this context, in this paper, we analysis the issues related to big data in B2B-based healthcare sector. First, we give the background and the advantages of using big data technology in the B2B-based healthcare sector in general; then we discuss the security aspects of the big data. Then, we discuss different security techniques proposed by the researchers to maintain the security of B2B-based health care sector.

A discussion of digital transition impact on facility management of hospital buildings

PurposeThis paper aims to contribute to the discussion of the following questions: How can the digital transition improve the management of the operation and maintenance of infrastructure in health-care facilities? What is the legacy for facility management (FM) teams in this post-COVID-19 management of hospital buildings?Design/methodology/approachBased on a literature review, this paper analyses and categorises existing research on the digital challenges for FM from 2011 until 2021 by conducting a qualitative and quantitative method of bibliometric analysis and discussing the status of digital transition impact on FM of the hospital buildings.FindingsThe trends and challenges of building information modelling, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things identified and discussed in this paper aim to be as comprehensive as possible to grasp the situation of digital transition in the FM industry in the hospital buildings context. Regarding digital maturity, the limited number of publications highlights that control and management systems cannot fully manage the entire operational phase of hospital buildings. Giving intelligence to buildings will undoubtedly be the future. So making buildings reactive, interactive and immersive is an inevitable transformation for intelligent hospital building systems. Thus, the added value of digitalisation will help facility managers to overcome the issues pointed out in this paper to deal with the growing health demands and enable them to mitigate the impacts of a new and future pandemic.Originality/valueThe novelty of this paper is classifying and unifying facility managers' tendencies regarding high-level information management issues, which are lacking in the literature, with a focus on the approaches with potential and higher impact on FM in the hospital building context and the related steps that should be considered regarding data collection and data structures. These tendencies provide a set of new intelligent approaches and tools, which will increase the efficiency of processes, significantly impacting the potential of optimisation. Also, these trends can improve planning and management of scope, costs, environment and safety in the value chain of projects and assets, thus creating a more resilient and sustainable industry for facility managers in this post-COVID-19 management for hospital buildings.

Exploring the Issue of Economic Security and Information Management for Business Operations in the Globalised Modern World

The economic security and management of information are crucial elements for the functioning of stakeholders in the free market economy in the XXI century. Indeed, they are inherently interlinked as well. Firstly, without an adequate level of security, information or finance, it is impossible to ensure the stable and sustainable functioning of businesses in the free market economy.

Information management in the facilities domain: investigating practitioner priorities

PurposeEffective information management can help real estate operators improve asset performance during use, reducing environmental impact. The purpose of this exploratory study is to identify and prioritise key drivers, challenges and opportunities relating to information management, from the point of view of a diverse cohort of facilities practitioners, with the aim of guiding future research direction and contributing to a comprehensive domain understanding.Design/methodology/approachNine interviews are conducted across a broad sample of real estate sectors, the respondents including six facility managers and three data managers. A thematic analysis results in the identification and ranking in terms of importance of 44 emergent themes. These themes are then grouped into abstracted categories for analysis and synthesis.FindingsThis study indicates that systemic rather than technical issues are the greatest barrier to effective information management for facilities practitioners, the interviews providing examples of practical measures which address these challenges, promoting lifecycle thinking. Alignment is also found between the facilities and data management cohorts regarding lifecycle thinking towards both physical assets and information.Practical implicationsThis study provides direction for future developments in the facilities sector, suggesting the pursuit to address systemic issues as being both worthwhile and feasible.Originality/valueThe novelty of this study is the ranking and synthesis of practitioner priorities with regard to high-level information management issues which is lacking in the literature, with a focus to-date on case-specific technical integration.

ОСОБЛИВОСТІ ДИСТАНЦІЙНОГО УПРАВЛІННЯ ПЕРСОНАЛОМ В СУЧАСНИХ УМОВАХ

The article is devoted to the analysis of the content and practice of personnel management in the conditions of remote work. The topic raised by the author is relevant, because in the context of the COVID-19 epidemic, many employees switched to telecommuting, and managers change their approaches to personnel management. The concepts of remote employment and remote worker are given. The article considers promising opportunities and shortcomings that must be taken into account when managing personnel in the transition to remote work. In the future, the author proceeds to a direct review of management functions in the conditions of remote work. When planning staff, special attention is paid to the diligence of personnel selection, because the control of tasks in remote work is somewhat complicated, and the quality and timeliness of tasks will depend not only on the financial stability of the company but also its reputation. The stages of personnel selection for remote employment are outlined. In the future, the author moves on to update the managerial functions of the head and the need for proper software and hardware as the most remote work of employees and the process of its management. The author emphasizes that the motivation of remote workers also differs due to limited professional and personal communication, direct assessment of productivity, emphasizes that these facts must be taken into account and proposes measures that provide not only material motivation, such as online support, advice, corporate culture, creating groups of remote workers in social networks for informal communication or for sharing experiences, conducting various online events, trainings, direct communication with the head, etc. However, the author also highlights the interests of companies that employ remote workers. The flexible and controlled schedule in remote work, means of their control are considered. The issue of information and property security management of the enterprise is considered. The author concludes that the management of remote employment has further scientific and practical development, research, analysis of the experience of enterprises, especially during the coronavirus.

Development Strategy of College Sports Information Management System Using Data Mining in Mobile Internet Environment.

A strong basis has been set for the digitization of school management by the growth of big data and the Internet. However, there is not specialised software that can be used in schools to handle teaching materials and carry out teaching activities, particularly in school physical education. Most teachers struggle with significant information management issues in the conventional college sports management information system. Along with people's interest in physical education in colleges and universities, the study of the college sports management information system's development plan has emerged as the primary research area in the present day. The use of data mining in the development strategy of the sports management information system was therefore considered in conjunction with the actual situation of school sports information management. The experiment also introduced and provided a detailed explanation of the algorithm used in data mining. To fully explore the system strategy's development impact was the specific goal. In order to realise the management function of the sports management information system, serve the information management of each school, increase information management efficiency by 6.58%, and improve user satisfaction; data mining was introduced into the development strategy of management information system through the discovery of experimental data.

INFORMATION MANAGEMENT IN CONSTRUCTION PROJECT: POTENTIAL OF BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY

It has been well established through research works and experience of construction professionals that smooth, transparent, traceable information flow is absolutely essential for better coordination among stakeholders in a project. This challenge of information management has been met to a good extent through centralized information systems, tailor made for each organization. However, poor information management and resulting poor coordination still persists in projects. Through extensive literature reviews as well as detailed discussion with construction professionals, identification & categorization of issues with the present Information system has been done. Blockchain technology as an alternate solution to the information management issues in Construction projects has been studied in detail starting with basic understanding of the technology itself to development of concept framework models for its potential applications in the construction projects. Further, some case studies have also been reviewed to get a better understanding of overall advantages, challenges & limitations associated with the technology. For assessment of features of technology and its potential in addressing the requirements, detailed discussion with Blockchain professionals and survey was done. The features of the technology have been compared with the issues and an analysis of the same has been done to review and analyze the potential of applicability of blockchain to address the requirements. Recommendations have been provided at the end which provide way for future works in this regard.

Current Issue of Information Management about Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Interaction in Hospital

Contact between plastic medical devices and medicine causes damage to the medical device and liquid medicine leakage because of physicochemical reactions. These phenomena are listed as contraindications and precautions on individual package inserts of medical devices and drugs; medical device package inserts draw attention to such as interactions. We carried out a questionnaire survey of medical-, drug-, and device-safety managers in hospitals that examined the management system for medical device package inserts, responsibility for dealing with the occurrence of drug and medical device interactions, and at desirable system to avoid such occurrence. Drug package inserts are managed by pharmacists. The medical device package inserts are managed mainly by the device safety managers, as well as by other personnel, including the clinical engineer, doctor, nurse, and clinical radiographer. The survey confirmed that interactions occurred at many phenomena; the procedure involved detailing such occurrences by various medical staff to a medical-safety manager in an incident report. Our study revealed that there were many problems with the package inserts management system for medical devices. Cooperation between safety managers within hospitals is necessary to avoid such incidents.

The article deals with theoretical issues of information and communication management of the university. The role and impact of information and communication management on universities have been analyzed and researched on the example of Ostroh National University and Silesian University in Katowice. They are comparing the results obtained and making recommendations for improving the information and communication sphere in the universities.

A record-keeping approach to managing IoT-data for government agencies

Purpose Particular attention to the issue of information management will be required to meet the expected growth in IoT-devices and the data they generate. As government agencies start collecting and using such information, they must also deal with the issue of privacy, to comply with laws and regulations. The approach discussed here shows that record-keeping principles may form part of a solution to the issue of managing IoT-data for government agencies. Design/methodology/approach This study uses the generally accepted record-keeping principles as a basis for a high-level discussion on how IoT-data can be managed. This is followed by a presentation and discussion on how the Norwegian record-keeping standard, Noark, can be extended to highlight practical issues. Findings Record keeping has principles that are relevant to the management of IoT-data. Further an implementation of the chosen use-cases is possible based on an existing record keeping standard. Record keeping is one of many information science approaches that can manage IoT-data. Research limitations/implications The main limitations are that the discussion cannot cover all types of IoT-devices, nor can all issues be captured with a limited choice of examples. The results should be seen within the context of the types of devices discussed and limited to the chosen use-cases. However, the level of abstraction used means the results may be applicable to similar scenarios. Originality/value The approach shows that record-keeping principles may be used as an approach to manage IoT-data. This discussion is useful when compared with other information science approaches, e.g. big-data or semantic Web approaches. The practicalities of a record-keeping approach are also discussed and relevant strengths and weaknesses are showed.

The public health care system and primary care services in Saudi Arabia: a system in transition.

Saudi Arabia has invested heavily in its health care system by establishing health care infrastructures to improve health of the nation. However, it remains to be seen whether it is efficient and effective in providing health care services needed. Primary health care, which is the basis of universal health coverage, needs to be assessed on its performance, challenges and future opportunities to serve the Saudi Arabian population. This review aimed to identify challenges within the Saudi Arabian health care system with a focus on primary health care services, and to analyse the interrelated factors in order to suggest remedial reforms to further strengthen and improve the health care system. A narrative review of previous studies and governmental reports was undertaken to extract, analyse, synthesize and report the findings. The review found a number of key areas for improvement in the primary health care system. These areas include: the scope, structure, infrastructure, financing, increased demand, increased costs and workforce capacity. Other critical challenges include inequitable access to health services, quality and safety of services, the growing burden of chronic diseases, lack of an effective information system, management and leadership issues, and gaps in the referral system. The Saudi Arabian health care system needs comprehensive reform with a focus on primary health care.
