Pengaruh Pengetahuan Perbankan Syariah dan Lingkungan Keluarga terhadap Minat Menabung Mahasiswa di Bank Syariah

This study aims to see the effect of Islamic banking knowledge and family environment on the interest in saving students of the Faculty of Economics, Padang State University in Islamic banks. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The population in this study were students of the Faculty of Economics, Padang State University. Sampling in this study using purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 96 respondents. Data collection in this study used a questionnaire/ questionnaire method. The results of the study found that; (1) Students' knowledge about Islamic banking has no significant effect on saving interest in students of the Faculty of Economics, Padang State University in Islamic banks, this is seen from the significant value of 0.594 > 0.05. (2) Family environment has a positive and significant effect on saving interest in students of the Faculty of Economics, Padang State University in Islamic banks, this is seen from the significant value of 0.00 < 0.05.Keywords: pengetahuan, lingkungan keluarga, minat menabung

PERNIKAHAN INTERNAL KELOMPOK ISLAM JAMAAH DI YOGYAKARTA

The large number of religious groups in Indonesia makes all kinds of differences in implementing Islamic law. One of them is the Jamaah Islamic group which in the implementation of their marriage takes two contracts, namely having to take internal marriage (ND) and outside marriage (NL). The focus of this research is: first, what is the procedure for the implementation of internal marriage carried out by Islam Jamaah ?; second, how is the internal marriage of the Jamaah Islamic group in the perspective of Law No. 1 of 1974 and the Compilation of Islamic Law?. This research is a field research (Library Research) which uses qualitative methods with a juridical-normative approach. The conclusions of this study are: first, the implementation of marriage procedures in the Jamaah Islamic environment is quite identical to the marriage patterns of Muslims in general. Like others, Jamaah Islam begins the procedure with matchmaking between congregations by the marriage team, followed by the marriage process until the timing of the marriage contract is executed. The difference is, the Jamaah Islamic Group requires its members to marry fellow Jamaah Muslims. The prospective bride from outside must take a pledge and join the Islamic Jamaah group before being allowed to marry a member of the Islamic Jamaah. Second, there are several differences between the Jamaah Islamic marriage law and the marriage regulated in Law No. 1 1974 and the Compilation of Islamic Laws.

Islam in the Republic of Bashkortostan in 2020 in Context of the COVID-19 Pandemic

The article is a monitoring of the main events concerning the Muslim community of the Republic of Bashkortostan in 2020 based on content analysis of text materials from government reports, press releases, websites and social media pages of Islamic organizations. The pandemic that began at the end of 2019 and the lockdown introduced in Russia demanded that Islamic communities adapt to new conditions. The danger of the spread of COVID-19 has reduced the internal confl ict in the Islamic environment and the public’s attention to the problems of radicalism. The drop in mosques attendance was off set by the development and use of digital resources in religious activities. At the same time, limited contacts, reduced offl ine events and meetings contributed to strengthening the new course of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Bashkortostan towards decentralization and regionalisation. The activities of the Central Spiritual Administration of Russia, located in Ufa, remained without change on a national scale.

HALAL REST AL RESTAURANTS AND MEASURES T S AND MEASURES TO IMPRO O IMPROVE THEIR VE THEIR SERVICES IN UZBEKISTAN

Introduction. As the Muslim travel has been increased in recent years there is a great deal of need for halal services. The most inevitable part of this is halal food and its serving. The article provides an analysis of halal tourism over the past 10 years. Despite the pandemic situation the upwarding trend in halal tourism still being continued because of foreighn and national muslim tourists. Research methods. There is used the research methodology of taking into account the expected changes in the development of halal tourism. Further the organizational patterns of serving in halal restaurants and developed the meaning of muslim friendly environment. In the article the opinion of experts is studied by the methods such as comparison, observation, empirical research, systematic and comparative analysis, and expert evaluation. Results and discussion. As Uzbekistan has a lot of historical and religious tourism resources and most part of the population are in Islamic faith there are a great potential of improving halal tourism. According to Global Muslim Tourism Index our country went up in several steps in the last two years. It shows a large potensial of the country. In this regard President Shavkat Mirziyoyev developed the governmental tools to improve the ziyarah image of Uzbekistan by creating laws and regulations. In the muslim countries Islamic rules and Islamic behavior are the main observed there is no any problem with the Islamic environment and muslim services. In other countries where the main belived faith is not Islam the halal tourism concept is meant only by food which does not contain pork and alcohol. To improve the halal tourism image of the country specialists and tourism industry managers must deeply understand the importance of halal environment and Islamic facilities. Conclusion. The article provides the studies of infrastructure of halal tourism development, the functioning of the halal food system. According to many scientists the main aspects of halal restaurants can be count as halal food sources and alchohol free drinks that are permitted according to Islamic rules. Foreign experience of halal restaurants was studied and suggestions were made to improve the service of halal restaurants in Uzbekistan

The Determinants of Tourists’ Intention to Visit Halal Tourism Destinations in Aceh Province

This present study aims to identify the determinants of tourists’ intention towards halal tourism in Aceh Province. The population of this study was the tourists visiting Aceh Province in 2019 based on the data from the Central Bureau of statistics. The study used a quantitative research method, employing a purposive questionnaire to 300 local tourists and foreign tourists. The study analyzed the data using multiple linear regression with independent variables consisting of perceptions about access, communication, environment, and service. Overall, the study found that the perceptual attributes of access, communication, environment, and service were able to determine the tourists’ intention towards halal tourism in Aceh. The two most dominant determinants in shaping and encouraging increased intention in halal tourism were the Islamic environment and service for halal tourism. The study recommends the importance of adopting the Islamicenvironmental ecosystem and service as a market strategy for halal tourism destinations in Aceh Province.

PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN INSERT EKONOMI SYARIAH, PENGETAHUAN PRODUK, LINGKUNGAN SOSIAL DAN RELIGIUSITAS TERHADAP MINAT MENABUNG DI BANK SYARIAH

This study aims to analyze the effect of the research variables including the insertion of Islamic economics, product knowledge, social environment and religiosity on interest in saving at Islamic banks in high school/MA students at Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School. This research is a quantitative research using ex-post facto method. The population and sample in this study were students of SMA/MA Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School class XI IIS with a total of 378 and the number of samples used was 100 students. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the insertion of Islamic economics learning and the social environment had a significant effect on students' saving interest in Islamic banks, while product knowledge and religiosity variables had no effect on interest in saving in Islamic banks. Simultaneously, the insertion of Islamic economics learning, product knowledge, social environment and religiosity affect the interest in saving in Islamic banks in the students of the Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Jombang.Key word: Economic Learning Insert Sharia Economics, Product Knowledge, Social Environment, Religiosity, Interest in Savings in Islamic Banks

Islamic boarding schools and human rights enforcement transmission of cultural values for disabilities

The inclusive boarding school model is not only a form of embodiment of education that respects diversity and eliminates discrimination. However, it is more critical as a form of application, essence, and religion, the theological substance that teaches the equality of human rights, tolerance, and respect for others in all aspects of life. This research was conducted to know the inclusive boarding school education model initiated by the founder of An-nur Islamic boarding school, Tengku Drs H. Zainal Abidin. The research method used in this study is a type of qualitative research. Data collection techniques using participant observation, namely by way of researchers mingling with the object of research. The research was conducted at the An-nur Islamic Boarding School, Tingkem Asli Village, Bukit District, Bener Meriah Regency, Aceh. The research was conducted from July 2020 to July 2021. The results of this study are that the pesantren model initiated by the founder is an integrated, inclusive boarding school that was officially established in 2010. Inclusive Integration is a pesantren education model that unites regular (typical) students with ABK students (Children with Special Needs) in one Islamic boarding school environment. with an integrated education model, namely the Integration between the concepts of Islamic boarding school education and entrepreneurship with a learning approach that emphasizes emotional and familial. Through this model, Pesantren An-Nur can transmit cultural values for persons with disabilities through the process of enculturation, socialization, acculturation with a Chinatown style building. Cultural transmission is applied to disability in inclusive boarding schools through vertical transmission, oblique transmission, and horizontal transmission. These three cultural transmissions are carried out in the educational process at Islamic boarding schools for 24 hours through theological understanding and translating at the practical level in the form of self-accustoming, exemplary, formal and informal learning, and life skills activities for students in Islamic boarding schools.

Blue Ocean Strategy for Improving Quality and Competitiveness of Islamic Educational Environment

Competition often makes someone do everything to achieve goals. That happens because they aren’t successful in innovating their products, but only imitating and following their competitors. Blue Ocean Strategy (BOS) offers a new strategy in competition, which makes competitors, not enemies but makes them more motivated to change the spirit of the institutional environment. The purpose of this research studied BOS in Islamic educational institutions, which includes mapping strategies in creating a market space where there are no competitors, strategies in making the competition irrelevant, and its implications in Islamic educational institutions. This study used qualitative methods through field research type. Data obtained through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and study of documents. The results of this study concluded that: 1) The strategy of mapping educational institutions in creating market opportunities that have no competitors is by creating innovations that do not yet exist in other levels of the educational institution; 2) Institutional strategies in making competition no longer relevant are carried out by always showing innovations that are applied to other institution without a cover-up (always open); 3) The implications of BOS in the educational institution can be seen in terms of the output produced which can be realized through graduates who can be used both in companies and in educational institutions in need.

How is using of the Indonesian Banking Environmental Disclosure with GRI?

This study aims to determine how the differences in environmental disclosure in conventional banking with Islamic banking using the GRI index. This study found that conventional banking has a higher environmental disclosure than Islamic banking. In addition, the results of this study state that the disclosure of the Islamic banking environment is more representative when using the ISR index when compared to the GRI index. The data used are in the form of annual reports and sustainability reporting of conventional banking companies and Islamic banking listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019. From Fiqh to Political Advocacy: Muhammadiyah’s Ecological Movement in the Post New Order Indonesia

This paper investigates how Indonesia’s Islamic modernist movement, Muhammadiyah, is responding to issues such as environment degradation, global warming and climate change. Muhammadiyah has not adopted the ecology paradigm used by Islamic environmentalism group, focusing instead on theological reform and social and economic welfare and justice, but members of its elite have begun inserting ecological concerns into the organisation’s programmatic orientation. This paper argues that, although these efforts are not well organized and maintained, they have enormous potential to transform Muhammadiyah into a right-green organization, as demonstrated through its progressive initiative on the environment and its efforts institutional and theological reform (fiqh of water) and in its involvement in judicial review of state policy (known as ‘jihad konstitusi’/judicial review) as political advocacy practice. However, the main feature of Muhammadiyah’s environmental activism is its continued emphasis on economic justice rather than on building ecological security and conservation movement.

The Islamic Environmentalism in Eco-Pesantren Initiatives: Integrating the Sustainable Development Values in Islamic Boarding School

The potential of Islamic environmentalism initiatives has been emerging in Indonesian Muslim society. The inclusion of sustainable development ideas into Islamic values has raised an increasing initiative of ‘Eco-Pesantren’. Following the numerous programs relating to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the country, the ‘Eco-Pesantren’ undertake the ideas by introducing environmental sustainability in their curriculum. This initiative is widely popular after some Islamic boarding schools or ‘pesantren’ in Java Island have successfully performed the value of sustainable development in their learning process. It is evident that sustainable development ideas are not the opposite of Islamic values, and the Islamic way of life can contribute to the environmental vision of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This article analyses the practice of sustainable development from an Islamic point of view by focusing particularly on environmental issues. To describe the ‘Eco-Pesantren’ programs, this article is divided into three sections. First, explaining sustainable development from Islamic perspectives. Second, portraying the growth of Islamic environmentalism in Indonesia and ‘Eco-Pesantren’ initiatives and the challenges faced by those initiatives. Finally, the conclusion of this study.

Tren Baru Islam melalui Gerakan Hijrah: Studi Kasus Shift Pemuda Hijrah

This article aims to discuss the strategy of the hijrah movement in utilizing the hijrah trend in urban areas. This study takes a case study on the religious youth movement, the Youth Hijrah Movement (Shift) in Bandung City, in actualizing Islamic values that are packaged in a contemporary way according to the millennial generation. The research method used is qualitative by exploring understanding and responses through interviews with administrators, members, and congregations regarding Shift's contribution in spreading Islam conventionally and through social media platforms. The results of this study state that Shift takes advantage of the trend of migration due to the phenomenon of urban youth spirituality drought through interesting and useful religious programs for the wider community. The Shift is a manifestation of the existence of a Cyber Islamic Environment or an Islamic cyber environment in cyberspace that is used to convey Islamic messages. The activities of the Shift movement that are packaged on social media platforms and their interactions with the congregation are the new face of Islam in cyberspace. In addition, to accommodate traditional religious traditions such as Islamic boarding schools, the Shift also makes symbolic efforts to use its learning methods like an Islamic boarding school.

المهمة الرئيسة لهذا البحث هي عرض وتحليل الرؤية الفکرية، التي قدمها الملک عبدالله الثاني، ملک المملکة الأردنية الهاشمية، في مجال مکافحة التطرف والإرهاب، بما شکلاه من خطر يتهدد أمن الدول والمجتمعات عربيا وعالميا، وبما رافقهما من تشويه لصورة الإسلام، وإضرار بمصالح العرب والمسلمين وقضاياهم. فهذه الدراسة مکرسة لبلورة ما قدمه الملک عبدالله الثاني من مقاربات فکرية، في تشخيص أسباب شيوع الفکر المتطرف والممارسات الإرهابية، وتحديد مخاطرهما، وسبل مواجهتمها، خلال سنوات حکمه 1999-2020، وذلک بالاعتماد على خطابه السياسي الموجه إلى العالم في مناسبات ومؤتمرات سياسية وثقافية وإعلامية متنوعة عبر العالم، عبر فيها عن قناعاته الفکرية ورؤاه السياسية المدافعة عن مستقبل مشترک للإنسانية، من خلال التصدي لظاهرة التطرف والإرهاب بکل أشکالها ومصادرها، بعيدا عن الادعاء بأنها منحصرة في البيئة الإسلامية. وليس من مهام هذا البحث دراسة السياسات والإجراءات والمواقف، التي اتخذتها الدولة الأردنية بقيادة الملک عبدالله الثاني في مواجهة التطرف والإرهاب، کما ليس من مهام هذا البحث التأريخ لظاهرة التطرف والإرهاب في الأردن، أو في المنطقة العربية. Abstract: The main aim of the this study is to state and analyze the intellectual vision presented by King Abdullah II, the king of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the domain of fighting extremism and terrorism, with the danger they both posed in threatening the security of countries and societies at both an Arab and global level, and which disfigure and distort the image of Islam, while also harming the interests and causes of Arabs and Muslims. Actually, this study is devoted to the crystallization and elucidation of the intellectual approaches of King Abdallah II, insofar as their diagnosis of the causes of the spread of extremist thought and terrorist practices, whilst determining their risks, and the means of confronting them during his reign 1999-2020, such by drawing on his political discourse addressed to the world in diverse political, cultural and media events and conferences across the world, at which he expressed his intellectual convictions and political visions advocating a shared future for humanity, through resisting the phenomenon of extremism and terrorism of all forms and sources, in a manner removed from claiming that it is confined to the Islamic environment. It is not one of the aims of this study to study policies ,measures and stands adopted by the Jordanian State under the leadership of King Abdullah II in confronting extremism and terrorism. Moreover, it is not one of the aims of this study to narrate the history of the phenomenon of extremism and terrorism in Jordan, or in the Arab region.

A linguistic landscapes study in Indonesian sub-urban high school signages: an exploration of patterns and associations

English is the most used lingua franca and its permeation is mainly through education sector. This expansion is reflected through the display of English coexisting with other languages in education sites. Linguistic landscape study in school sites helps to explain the functions of language choices in school signs. In Indonesia, the use of English captured in school signs have been frequently investigated focusing in their relation with urban communities, yet, the co-existence of languages in signages in sub-urban schools are still rarely investigated. To fill this gap, we scrutinized the languages present on Indonesian sub-urban schools focusing on their patterns and associations. 101 school signs were collected from three senior high schools in sub-urban areas in Jember, Magetan and Situbondo. The display patterns were analyzed based on the number of languages present in the signs and interpreted socio-culturally. This study found three patterns of the suburban school signs: monolingual, bilingual, and multilingual signs consisting of five different languages: Indonesian, English, Arabic, Sanskrit, and Latin. Indonesian becomes the dominant language used, and is followed by English. English is mostly used in schools that have history as international schools. In addition, Arabic is mostly used in school located in Islamic environment as a form of self-identification, and Sanskrit is used as a cultural symbol in the school located in dominant Javanese community. In conclusion, location and socio-cultural context influence the language used in school.

Pendidikan Perilaku Religius Penghuni Rumah Susun Kota Pasuruan Dalam Menciptakan Baiti Jannati

The Pasuruan city government has built flats in three sub-districts. The apartment in the city of Pasuruan is expected to be a home that protects their family with limited facilities but full of comfort with the aspiration to form a sakinah mawaddah wa rahma family as well as my home to be my paradise. Likewise with an Islamic environment, ethical and interacting with harmonious neighbors. These flats are expected to be their intermediary in achieving their welfare. Building a household in a household with the concept of my home is my heaven (baiti Jannati) in an apartment is very difficult because of the large number of residents and the concept of apartment building is so complex, except with hard effort. of the residents of the apartment. Therefore, special assistance is needed from tertiary institutions based on pesantren to create education and religious behavior for the residents of the apartment so that baiti jannati will automatically be created by itself. This mentoring uses the ABCD mentoring method involving the residents of the flats themselves. The results of our assistance in these flats include the formation of religious families, polite and able to interact with the community in safe harmony and preserving congregational prayers, Islamic studies, jamiyah tahlil, dibaan and TPQ for children.

Drugs behind the veil of Islam: a view of Saudi youth.

Insufficient research exists on drug trafficking and abuse in Saudi Arabia. This paper aims to uncover how drugs are trafficked to Saudi Arabia, what factors contribute to an ever-growing drug use in the Kingdom, and what the life of illegal drug use looks like in such an Islamic environment. Documentary methods and in-depth interviews were adopted to associate drug problems with social environments. It is discovered that drug trafficking is correlated to economic disparity among regions and social strata in the Kingdom, methods of drug purchase differ regionally, and drug use is an unintended consequence of social changes. The study concludes that drug offenses, countering traditional associations of Saudi society, creates a double life in the Kingdom.

Technological and Islamic environments: Selection from Literature Review Resources

Child-Friendly Teaching Approach for Arabic Language in Indonesian Islamic Boarding School

Mastering Arabic language is essential for Muslims as the language serves as a fundamental tool to understand and implement Islamic values. It is due to the fact that sources of these Islamic values, as in al-Qur'an and Sunnah, are accessible primarily through Arabic language. Both formal and informal education undertakings to master the language are then encouraged in this community. In connection to the dissemination and internalization of child-friendly values, it is necessary that the teaching of Arabic be carried out within this framework. Using descriptive analysis as the method, this paper discusses how these values may work in an Islamic environment such as Darunajah Islamic Boarding School. Data collection is done through observation, in-depth interviews, library research, and triangulation. In this study, components of Arabic language teaching which include educators, students, material, learning processes and evaluation, are put in relation to child-friendly values. The study shows that formal teaching of Arabic in Darunnajah Islamic boarding school has been in line with the framework of child-friendly values, in the part of educators while dealing and manage their students, also in the part of the textbooks and teaching materials, their contents, oral drills and presentation, also in the part of learning and evaluation processes.
