Implementasi Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam melalui Media Sosial Youtube di Kelas IV SDI Alexandria Kota Tangerang

The use of YouTube Social Media is a new thing in learning Islamic Religious Education at SDI Alexandria Tangerang City. The implementation of YouTube Social Media on the material Aku anak Saleh is expected to be able to make students reflect the attitude of Saleh in their daily activities. This study aims to determine how the implementation of Islamic Religious Education Learning through YouTube Social Media in Class IV SDI Alexandria. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods using data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations and documentation studies. Data validity checks using triangulation. Data were analyzed through the steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Interviews were conducted with an Islamic Religious Education teacher and 5 class IV students. The results of this research are that the implementation of Islamic Religious Education Learning via YouTube Social Media in class IV SDI Alexandria is said to be effective and improves students' ability to understand the material of I'm Saleh's Child in accordance with the research focus.

Primary School Teachers' Opinions on the Difficulties They Experience Compared to Subject Teachers

This study aims to determine the opinions of primary school teachers regarding the difficulties they experience compared to branch teachers. The research was conducted using a case study, one of the qualitative research methods. 25 primary school teachers participated in the study. A semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher was used to obtain the data. Content analysis method was used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the research, it was determined that the biggest difficulty experienced by primary school teachers in classroom management compared to branch teachers is that they have difficulty in classroom management due to the young age of the students; according to the opinions of primary school teachers, the biggest difficulty experienced by branch teachers in the teaching process is taking on the responsibility of more lessons. It was determined that primary school teachers establish deeper and stronger emotional bonds with their students compared to branch teachers; they are divided into two in terms of being advantageous in terms of salary and additional lessons; and the majority of primary school teachers see themselves as disadvantaged due to working in villages and rural areas in terms of the settlement where they work compared to branch teachers.

Analysis of the role of village-owned enterprises (bumdes) in improving the economy of the community in sharia-based Patokan village

This research aims to analyze the role of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in improving the economy of the Patokan Village community with a sharia-based approach. BUMDes is an economic institution established in villages to manage local potential and improve community welfare. In the context of Patokan Village, the application of sharia principles in BUMDes management is important given that the majority of the population is Muslim. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the BUMDes of Patokan Village has contributed positively to the village economy, especially through the savings and loan, livestock, and agriculture business units. However, there are still some obstacles, such as a lack of capital, skills, and community participation. The application of sharia in BUMDes management also provides additional benefits, such as increased community trust and avoidance of usury. This research is expected to provide theoretical and practical contributions in the development of a sharia-based BUMDes management model, which is more effective in supporting the welfare of village communities.

Islamic law regulates everything very fairly as explained in the Quran, including in regulating the distribution of inheritance that upholds justice. The revelation of inheritance verses gives respect and justice to women, by making women the subject of inheritance makes them happy. However, in reality today, many Muslims divide inheritance assets not in accordance with the verses of the Quran. They consider the application of Surah An-Nisa verse 11 (boys get twice the share of girls) in this day and age is unfair, because now women are more independent, they have the same rights as men in many ways, such as education, work, roles in society and so on, so that the distribution of inheritance is adjusted to their circumstances. That is why researchers feel the need to examine how to solve this problem. The researcher will discuss the implementation of the distribution of inheritance property for the community in Dungminian Block, how also the review of Islamic law on the distribution of inheritance property for the community in Dungminian Block, Sumber Kedawung Village, Leces Subdistrict, Probolinggo Regency. The method used in this research is to use a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study concluded that the division of inheritance property (tirkah) that occurred in Dungminian Block, Sumber Kedawung Village, Leces Subdistrict, Probolinggo Regency prioritizes family consensus and consensus if no consensus is found, then return to the compilation law and Qur'anic law.

ABULOY: Varied Expressions of Sympathy, Empathy and Apathy

The present study aimed to determine and explore the cultural value of abuloy in the Filipino culture and also determine its significance to the concept of fellowmen among Filipinos. It also asked specific questions regarding the context of abuloy in the Filipino culture; forms, gestures or expression that can be shown in times of family’s grieving in terms of being expressed with sympathy, empathy, apathy; giving of abuloy of Filipinos during the wake and after bereavement; how Filipinos are guided by cultural beliefs and practices in giving abuloy; changes in the cultural meaning and social recognition for the giving of abuloy; the different factors affecting the act of giving abuloy and also how the findings of thispresentstudy can contribute to an additional learning material. The study made use of the mixed method of research approach particularly with the use of the interview form and survey questionnaire as the primary tools for the data gathering process of the study. The findings of the study revealed that abuloy in the context of Filipino culture was mostly embedded on the idea of a financial assistance provided to the bereaved family and as an act of compassion and condolence; on the other hand, in terms of sympathy, thisis mostly expressed in considering the grief circumstances in which the bereaved family is currently going through; further, with regards to empathy, this is understanding the way in which a family feels when grieving; and finally, in terms of apathy, this is more expressed on being unaffected by the grief of the bereaved family. The participants also indicated that there was really no binding tradition that guides them in giving abuloy as long as it is based on having the intention to show compassion, in line with their financial capacity and budget; out of kindness and also to at least help the bereaved family with their present suffering. It can be concluded that most Filipinos express non-belief and non-adherence to common practices and beliefs, but they are increasingly reliant on the idea that providing or giving "abuloy" to the bereaved family is a form ofsocial obligation that everyone should fulfill in order to show compassion and care for other people's difficult situations.

A Perspective on Digital Storytelling Experiences of Primary School Teachers on Teaching Controversial Issues in Turkey

In this study, it was aimed to determine the sources of concern of primary school teachers in terms of controversial issues and the difficulties they experience in instructional processes and to improve their teaching skills related to controversial issues with digital stories. In this context, participatory action research method was utilized. A four-week action plan based on controversial issues supported by digital stories was implemented. The participants of the study consisted of four teachers. During the implementation process, digital stories based on controversial issues prepared by the researchers within the scope of action plans were utilized. Semi-structured interview form, focus group interview form and reflective teacher diary were used as data collection tools. The data were analyzed using content analysis through MAXQUDA 2020 program. As a result of the research, the problems faced by primary school teachers in teaching controversial issues are insufficiency of time, difficulties in managing the discussion, requiring intensive preparation, problems arising from cultural background, inadequacy of materials, inadequacy in terms of textbooks, overcrowded classes, lack of family support, extending the discussion outside the classroom and receiving negative reactions from school administration. When the experiences of primary school teachers in teaching controversial issues supported by digital stories are examined, it is seen that ensuring active participation, arousing interest/curiosity, developing a positive understanding of the lesson, associating with real life, moving away from textbooks, concretization, technology integration, increasing permanence, gaining a desire for research, developing interdisciplinary understanding findings have been reached.

Performatywny proces kształtowania tożsamości zawodników profesjonalnego wrestlingu

The article presents the theoretical assumptions of professional wrestling, its elements and history. It also cites considerations of identity and its performativity in sociology. The research conducted in the form of qualitative interviews deals with the process of forming performative identity among wrestlers. As a result of the analysis of the research, it was possible to create a typology of ways of creating a character used for performance in professional wrestling, describe the process of identity formation and determine the roles of third parties in it. The exploration and description of the phenomenon placed in the text made it possible to haracterize the profession of professional wrestler as a multiprofession.

Examining the Disaster Awareness Levels of Secondary School Students

Natural events are considered disasters when they cause harm to people and living spaces. Since natural disasters cannot be prevented, individuals need to learn to live with and become aware of them. This awareness is critical in minimizing the impact of disasters and can only be achieved through disaster education. Disaster-related outcomes in secondary school are concentrated in the social studies curriculum, and therefore, social studies is an important subject for disaster education. If high-quality disaster education is provided as a part of this course, students are likely to acquire skills to cope with disasters. In this regard, the purpose of this study was to examine the level of disaster awareness among secondary school students. Accordingly, a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods, was employed in the study. This study was conducted using an explanatory sequential design within the mixed-method approach. The sample was selected using criterion sampling, one of the purposeful sampling methods. Consequently, the study was conducted with 396 students selected from the 5th, 6th, and 7th grades during the 2023-2024 academic year. The study group was selected on a voluntary basis from the sample to which quantitative data were applied. In the quantitative part of the study, the "Disaster Awareness Scale for Secondary School Students" was used to collect data, and in the qualitative part, a semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers was used. The quantitative findings of the study showed that secondary school students had high levels of disaster awareness. However, the qualitative findings did not support the quantitative findings.

Acceptance and commitment coaching for music performance anxiety in adolescent singers.

Most of the anxiety disorders, particularly social anxiety, seem to develop either during childhood or adolescence. Adolescent singers who experience physical, mental and emotional changes along with voice change are particularly prone to the development of MPA. However, adolescence also seems to be an opportune time to instil healthy behaviours in singing students as they are more likely to remember these coping strategies, owing to the release of dopamine and the 'reminiscence bump'. As this period of a singer's life is wrought with inevitable anxiety development, the additional aim of the study was to develop a coaching framework which can be used by singing teachers in their practice. Mindset training for adolescents seems crucial to help them continue singing through puberty so they do not drop out of singing lessons or choir during voice change and identity development. The study aimed to determine if Acceptance and Commitment coaching could be used with adolescent singers with MPA and to record and analyse rich qualitative data in the form of semi-structured participant interviews and questionnaires. When their perception of MPA symptoms and physiological and psychological arousal before a performance changed, their behaviour and reactions changed accordingly. The change took place over a period of time, which was characterised by discoveries about themselves, confusion in understanding new concepts and letting go of old habits. Interestingly, by the end of the coaching sessions, their preoccupation with pleasing the audience and appearing perfect on stage was replaced by a new-found delight in pursuing values and goals related to their singing. Along with this came the acceptance of themselves and others as individuals with the potential for growth and change and the capacity to learn from mistakes. This study marks the first investigation into the effectiveness of using of ACC as an intervention for MPA in adolescent singers undergoing puberty by a singing teacher. The results are promising and suggest that ACC is an effective MPA intervention for adolescent singers to cope with inevitable development-related anxieties and keep them engaged in the activity of singing during their pubertal years.

From opportunity gap to opportunity yield: The benefits of out-of-school authentic mentored research for youth from historically marginalized communities in STEM

Our longitudinal, mixed methods study explores the experiences of over five hundred youth in long-term mentored research experiences outside of school, paired with data on their reports of plans to pursue STEM. Our participants, youth from historically marginalized communities, represent the most promise for diversifying STEM: 81% are students of color, and almost half are multilingual. This paper shares an analysis of a cross-section of quantitative data collected from this large-scale study as well as qualitative data in the form of participant interviews. Drawing from our quantitative data, we find that in stark contrast to the opportunity gaps that youth like our participants encounter, participating in out of school research generates a ‘yield’ of opportunities to engage in science practices–significantly more than in school– and to contribute meaningfully to a science community of practice. Our qualitative data suggests that this ‘opportunity yield’ may also contribute to their continued pursuit of STEM. Taken together, these findings underscore the critical role that learning in out-of-school mentored research settings can play for students revealing its important, complementary role in a STEM ecosystem.

THE VIEWS OF SECONDARY SCHOOL ENGLISH TEACHERS ON PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMMUNITY (PDC) MEETINGS

This current research aims to identify the views of secondary school English teachers who participated in PDC meetings organised within the scope of "English Together" project. For this aim, mixed method was adopted in the research process. Since both quantitative and qualitative data were obtained from the participants in the research process, the researchers agreed on the suitability of this method. Two separate data collection tools were used. The first one is an e-form prepared for the content and scope of PDC meetings and demographic characteristics of the participants. The second data collection tool is an interview form prepared to analyse the quantitative data obtained in more depth. 122 English teachers participated in the research process and the quantitative data obtained were first recorded in an Excel file by the researchers. These recorded data were analysed within the framework of the sub-problems of the research and visualised as pie charts. These visualisations are shared in the findings section of the study. Qualitative data obtained from interviews with some of the participants were subjected to content analysis and shared under the relevant figures to reinforce the quantitative data. Based on the results obtained from the research, it is understood that the participants are generally satisfied with the content of the PDC meetings, they consider the facilitators professionally adequate, they are partially dissatisfied with the frequency of the meetings, and they see the meetings as useful.

Genital Cosmetic Surgery in Women of Different Generations: A Qualitative Study.

Individuals from different generations are interacting more and more today, and while each generation exists with its own characteristics, this situation causes intergenerational differences in every issue in social life. Considering the characteristics of different generations, it is predicted that individuals' views on genital cosmetic surgery may differ. This study was conducted to examine the views of women of different generations on genital cosmetic surgery and to determine their perspectives on genital cosmetic surgery. The population of the study consists of women from different generations. The sample of the study was formed using typical case sampling from purposive sampling methods. Data saturation was reached by conducting qualitative interviews with 15 women by selecting the snowball sampling method. Data were collected using a semi-structured individual interview form, and data analysis was performed using MAXQDA 2020. The opinions of women of different generations about genital cosmetic surgery were analysed under four themes and 13 categories as "Perception of Beauty", "Perception of Health", "Perception of Society" and "Perception of Need". The opinions of women of different generations about genital cosmetic surgery differ. It is thought that these differences may be caused by factors such as psychosocial, economic, environment, media, technological developments and culture. HALK EĞİTİMİ MERKEZLERİNDE GÖREV YAPAN MÜZİK EĞİTİMCİLERİNİN KURS PROGRAM VE SÜRELERİNE İLİŞKİN GÖRÜŞLERİ

Public education centers are among the institutions that attract great interest from individuals who want to receive music education in our country, and the demand for these institutions is increasing day by day. Music education in these institutions is provided through course programs determined by the General Directorate of Lifelong Learning. It is necessary to obtain the opinions of music educators, who can reach large audiences through public education centers, regarding course programs and durations in order to increase the quality of music education by making necessary improvements on the subject. The sample of the research consists of 30 volunteer music educators working in public education centers in the central districts of Ankara. The study is a qualitative study and a two-part semi-structured interview form consisting of demographic information and 2 open-ended questions was used to collect the data, prepared by taking two separate expert opinions. According to the research findings, it has been determined that music educators working in public education centers are mostly master teachers and a significant portion of them are graduates of fields other than music. According to the data obtained, it was determined that the majority of music educators found the course programs and durations inadequate. Keywords: Public Education Center, Music Education.

Policy Implementation of The Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement in The Greater Jakarta Metro Area Police Jurisdiction

The aim of this study is to investigate the implementation of the ETLE policy in the Greater Jakarta Metro Area Police Jurisdiction. Data has shown that there have been fluctuations in the trend of traffic violations in the Greater Jakarta Metro Area Police Jurisdiction from 2018-2023. This research examines further the implementation of the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) policy to realize an orderly traffic area in the Greater Jakarta Metro Area Police Jurisdiction. Researchers use Grindle's policy implementation model to look at policy implementation. The researchers used a post-positivist approach by conducting data analysis techniques using illustrative methods on primary data in the form of in-depth interviews. In-depth interviews were conducted with several crucial policymakers, including the Traffic Director at the Greater Jakarta Metro Area Police, who led the ETLE policy in its jurisdiction. The results showed that implementation of the ETLE policy in the Greater Jakarta Metro Area Police jurisdiction has not run optimally in establish an orderly traffic area. Although there is progress in implementation, there are several critical notes that must be addressed to achieve policy objectives.

Orientation towards the vernacular and style-shifting as language behaviours in speech of first-generation Polish migrant communities speaking Norwegian in Norway.

This study describes the patterns of dialect use among L3 Norwegian speakers born in Poland who have migrated to Norway. We collected the data in the form of sociolinguistic interviews recorded in Tromsø and Oslo, two different dialect regions, in order to examine potential differences in acquisition of two dissimilar dialects in Norwegian by L3 speakers. The analyses focus on dialectal and accentual variation in their speech, and whether frequency of dialect use is dependent on selected sociocultural factors. We have found that some speakers, especially those scoring high for overall dialect use, also display style-shifting, i.e. they use dialect features from the region more frequently in unscripted speech as opposed to in more formal speech styles elicited through reading tasks or the wordlist reading tasks. This demonstrates that language learners are capable of developing sensitivity towards the vernacular form in an L3. Moreover, it shows that first-generation migrant communities in fact may be capable of developing their L2/L3/L4 language competencies in a similar way to L1 speakers, including at the level of sociolinguistic variation.

Implementasi Manajemen Sarana Prasarana Pendidikan di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) dalam Rangka Peningkatan Mutu Pembelajaran

Educational facilities and infrastructure are very important to support learning activities in every school, especially in facilitating an effective learning process. This study aims to explain how the management of facilities and infrastructure can improve the quality of learning at SMAN 3 Karawang. Management of educational facilities and infrastructure includes planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation, involving respondents such as the head of infrastructure and school principal. Data analysis was done by reducing, presenting, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of educational facilities and infrastructure management at SMAN 3 Karawang has met the set standards, allowing optimal utilization for learning activities and school administration, thus contributing to the overall improvement of school quality.

Manajemen Dakwah Jema’ah Tablig dalam Meningkatkan Kesadaran Beribadah Masyarakat Kecamatan Medan Area

As time progresses, da'wah work continues to be carried out by each group of the Muslim movement which has its own way of carrying out its da'wah. One of them is the Tablighi Jema'ah. To awaken the spiritual spirit in the self and life of every Muslim, the Tablighi Jema'ah has its own management. This research will describe (1) how the management of the Tablighi Jema'ah increases awareness of worship in the Medan Area sub-district community. (2) Tablighi Jema'ah profile. (3) What are the obstacles faced in the da'wah management process by the Tablighi Jema'ah? The method used in this research is a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of interviews (randomly) and observation in the context of searching and extracting information and collecting data. The results of this research show that the Tablighi Jema'ah implements da'wah management in its da'wah process, namely using da'wah management functions (planning, organizing, mobilizing or implementing da'wah and evaluation). The material presented by the Tablighi Jema'ah was related to the mahdah worship and the rewards for good deeds performed. Apart from that, the Tablighi Jema'ah also invites congregational prayers at the mosque and brings the mosque to life. The Tablighi congregation conveys its preaching through studies and coming directly to people's homes. However, there are still several obstacles in the process of da'wah management, such as material readiness when preaching and responses in the community, but this is not a significant problem for them, because through good management all obstacles can be overcome well.

Migration Challenges and Their Impact on the Primary Healthcare System-A Qualitative Research.

In 2020 it is estimated that 281 million people were international migrants. Migrants constitute a potentially vulnerable population in terms of facing discrimination, poor living and housing conditions, and insufficient access to healthcare services. Due to the armed conflict in Ukraine in 2022, almost 10 million people crossed the Polish border within a year of the outbreak of the conflict. The objective of this paper is to present the use of primary healthcare services by people migrating from Ukraine to Poland and identify the barriers in access to healthcare by this group of persons. This study used a qualitative research technique in the form of an expert interview using individual in-depth interviews (IDI). The study group consisted of professionally active primary healthcare providers (doctors, nurses, and facility managers) in Poland. Research was carried out in the areas regarding the availability of healthcare, the potential threats and challenges, and possible system solutions. The results showed that the most common cause for doctor's appointments among migrants are respiratory infections, including COVID-19. Many cases were related to back pain, mainly resulting from the physical work of the patients. Additionally, some barriers to access and the provision of healthcare services for patients from Ukraine were identified. The majority (75%) of respondents indicated language as a significant barrier when providing services. Based on the study results, we recommend creating a dedicated website and telephone hotline for this group of persons as well as the use of traditional media to distribute information about access to healthcare services. It is also essential to focus on assistance for older people, since they may experience more difficulties with language and navigating the healthcare system.

Peran Guru dalam Membangun Motivasi Belajar Anak Usia Dini di TK PGRI Ibadurrahman Mande Kota Bima

Low learning motivation will affect the level of children's achievement in the learning process, thus teachers are required to be able to solve the problem of low children's learning motivation. The purpose of this study was to examine the role of teachers in generating early childhood learning motivation at TK PGRI Ibadurrahman Mande, Bima City both in the learning process and outside of learning. The method used is qualitative with a field approach, data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation and data analysis using techniques pioneered by Miles and Huberman. The results with the concept of constructive learning can provide stimulation to children so that they have high learning motivation. The concept of constructive learning includes learning outside the classroom (out class), utilisation of technology and exploration of nature. Then the teacher's applicable steps in maintaining children's learning motivation are by involving the role of the family to always create a learning space in every activity. In addition to the challenges faced by children such as, peers, family environment, technological advances and the school environment, in fact the concept of constructive learning by involving the role of the family is able to maintain children's learning motivation while having a high spirit of learning.

Families' Orientation of Children towards Science and Children's Perception of Science

This study aimed to examine the levels of families directing their children towards science and children's perception of science in a holistic framework. The research was conducted using mixed methods. Using criterion and convenience sampling methods, 168 parents with preschool children constituted the study group. The study group in the qualitative dimension of the research included 11 families with children between the ages of 3-6 and their children. Three different data collection tools were used in the study. A 5-point Likert-type, 18-item, 3-factor scale developed by Bal and Kaya (2022) was used as a quantitative data collection tool. As a qualitative data collection tool, a 6-question structured interview form developed by the researcher and drawings obtained from children were used. As a result of the study, it was determined that the level of families' orientation of children towards science differed significantly according to the variables of education level and child age, and the level of families' orientation of children towards science had a significant effect on children's perception of science.
