Even given identical information, patients and healthcare professionals may appropriately make conflicting decisions. Introduce the concept of mutual two-person, as opposed to individual, decision making. Present operational definition of shared decision making based on two-person decision theory demonstrate how to identify a shared decision, distinguish between a shared decision and some other commonly used approaches, and report the results of computer simulations that demonstrate the patterns of mutual satisfaction of various decision approached given common information. Shared decision making yields more mutually stable and satisfactory treatment decisions than do other approaches and have the additional advantage of achieving fewer morally questionable outcomes. In addition to shared information, shared decisions are superior to those made independently by patients or healthcare professionals.

The purpose of this study is to examine and empirically prove the influence of Return on Equity (ROE), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Earnings Per Share (EPS) on stock prices. The population consists of non-bank companies listed in the LQ-45 Index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021–2024 period. A total of 35 companies were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed using a panel data regression model with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach through EViews version 13 software. The results indicate that ROE has a significant positive effect on stock prices, while DER has a significant negative effect. Meanwhile, EPS was found to have no significant effect on stock prices, suggesting that earnings per share information has already been reflected in market prices. Simultaneously, the independent variables explain 95.34% of the variation in stock prices. These findings imply that investors should prioritize the analysis of profitability and capital structure over earnings per share when making investment decisions in LQ-45 stocks.

A target state estimation method based on multiple quadrotors is proposed for unknown maneuvering targets, and a distributed formation control method Image-Based Visual Servoing (IBVS) is also proposed to achieve encirclement tracking of unknown maneuvering targets. In the tracking control, collision avoidance constraints for nodes within the formation are also introduced, and based on the shared position information within the formation, the positions of other nodes within the Field of View (FOV) of each node are predicted for detecting unknown targets. Firstly, an Interacting Multiple Model (IMM) was designed based on multiple motion modes to estimate the position and velocity of the target. A virtual camera coordinate system containing translational and yaw rotations was established between the formation and the target based on the estimated values. Then, a distributed control method based on IBVS was further designed by combining image deviation. At the same time, a safe distance between nodes within the formation was introduced, and collision avoidance constraints of the Control Barrier Function (CBF) were designed. Finally, the position of the formation nodes within the FOV was predicted. The simulation results demonstrate that, utilizing the proposed estimation method, the estimation accuracy for target velocity improves by 26.5% in terms of Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) compared to existing methods. Furthermore, the proposed control method enables quadrotor formations to successfully achieve encirclement tracking of unknown maneuvering targets, significantly reducing tracking errors in comparison to conventional approaches.

Background/Objectives: Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a major cause of cervical, penile, anal, and oropharyngeal cancers. HPV vaccination is the most effective public health strategy for its prevention. Understanding the factors influencing vaccination intentions is critical for developing effective public health policies and improving population-level vaccine uptake. Therefore, in this scoping review, we aimed to examine HPV vaccination research conducted in Korea, identify common trends and gaps in study populations and influencing factors, and provide evidence-based recommendations for public health policies. Methods: We systematically searched four Korean databases—Research Information Sharing Service (RISS), DBpia, Korean Studies Information Service System (KISS), and National Digital Science Library (NDSL)—for studies published from their respective inception dates to January 2025, using “human papillomavirus,” “HPV,” “vaccination,” and “intention” as keywords. Thirty-six studies were ultimately included. Study characteristics, populations, theoretical frameworks, and key variables were extracted and analyzed using descriptive statistics and content analysis. Results: Of the included studies, 61.1% and 38.9% targeted vaccination-eligible individuals (adolescents and adults) and parents/guardians, respectively, with 50% focusing exclusively on women. The major factors influencing HPV vaccination intention were attitude (47.2%), subjective norms (38.9%), and perceived behavioral control (30.9%). Attitude and knowledge were critical for vaccination-eligible individuals (Direct group), whereas subjective norms were key for parents/guardians (Indirect group). Conclusions: Korean HPV vaccination intention research has predominantly focused on women and parents, with insufficient attention to adolescents and men. Public health strategies must employ multilevel interventions tailored to each group’s decision-making structures, including school-based programs for adolescents, gender-inclusive policies for men, and community-based approaches to address social norms among parents. These findings provide evidence for policy development aligned with the WHO cervical cancer elimination goals.

This paper investigates a new business phenomenon where platforms nurture contract manufacturers (CMs) by sharing market demand information. We consider a game-theoretical model that an original brand manufacturer (OBM) outsources the production to a CM, who encroaches the end-customer market with a competing product. The CM’s production cost can benefit from economies of scale. Both the OBM and the CM sell their product through a common online platform. The platform has accurate market demand information and determines whether to share with the CM. When it does, a signaling game between the OBM and the CM arises. Unlike a typical signaling game, we show that each type of CM may have an incentive to mimic the other type. This is driven by the CM’s two opposite drivers: wants the OBM to order more to achieve economies of scale, versus wants the OBM to order less to reduce competition at the end-customer market. We also find that information sharing may lead to lower demands and higher prices, and customers and social welfare may suffer as a result. Lastly, due to this information sharing option, we demonstrate how economies of scale can hurt the platform and the OBM.

To describe and assess the overall results of the La Caixa Foundation and the ICO/UVIC Chair of Palliative Care (Former WHO Collaborating Centre) Program "Comprehensive Care of People with Advanced Chronic Conditions" at 15 years (2008-2023). We used qualitative and quantitative methods, such as prospective, quasi-experimental, and pre-post test designs, to evaluate the effectiveness of the interventions led by psychosocial teams providing support to existing healthcare services. Data were collected from the Program's unique shared online information system, retrieving output and outcomes information, including data obtained from validated psychosocial evaluation instruments and semi-structured interviews with patients, relatives, professionals and other stakeholders, focusing on effectiveness, satisfaction, and perceived quality of different aspects of the Program, as well as outputs. From 2008 to 2022, the Program implemented 65 teams in Spain and 11 in Portugal across all the provinces, with 379 full-time professionals. They saw 286,644 patients and 371,023 relatives, with a median intervention duration of 2.3weeks. Patients' mean (SD) age was 73.2 (14.9) years; 52.3% were women, and most had a cancer diagnosis (60.1%). After 3 consecutive interventions, patients showed significantly improved psychosocial parameters, according to the Assessment of PSS Needs (ENP-E) and Existential Loneliness Detection Scale (EDSOL). Patients, relatives, and stakeholders were highly satisfied. The Program has developed a Master's degree that has trained over 250 professionals and conducted 371 courses/workshops and 302 lectures. The Program developed tools, manuals, and protocols that were published, available, and common to all professionals involved. It also developed innovative approaches responding to special settings and needs. A care program within a collaborative framework between public health services and non-profit foundations is an effective, efficient, and feasible model for organizing the psychosocial and spiritual dimension of care for patients with advanced chronic conditions and their relatives.

Supply chain performance remains a challenge for culinary MSMEs due to limited information sharing and trust among supply chain partners. This study aims to analyze the effect of information sharing and trust on supply chain performance among culinary MSMEs in Palu City using a quantitative approach. Primary data were collected from 60 owners and employees of culinary MSMEs through questionnaires, with respondents selected using non-probability purposive sampling, and analyzed using SPSS version 30.0. The results show that information sharing and trust individually have a positive and significant effect on supply chain performance, and simultaneously both variables also significantly influence the supply chain performance of culinary MSMEs in Palu City. These findings provide important practical implications for regional economic growth and MSME development, as strengthening information sharing and trust can enhance supply chain performance and support the formulation of sustainable economic development strategies. The novelty of this study lies in its specific focus on culinary MSMEs within the accommodation and food service provision sector, which has distinctive operational characteristics, thereby offering more contextual empirical evidence on the role of information sharing and trust in improving supply chain performance compared to prior studies that largely focused on large firms or MSMEs in general.

At present, over 70% of consumer purchasing decisions are driven by emotions rather than rationality. Therefore, it is significant to investigate the impact of emotional marketing on consumers. Secondly, for businesses, emotional marketing can promote word-of-mouth dissemination. Positive emotional experiences encourage consumers to actively recommend products to others, enabling brands to rapidly expand their visibility and influence through this viral approach and attract potential customers. For suppliers, this can lead to stable order demand. Therefore, this study will explore two directions: (1) the direct effects of business marketing behaviors and decisions on young consumers' voluntary sharing of business products, and (2) the mediating effects of customer emotions between business marketing behaviors and decisions and young consumers' voluntary sharing of business products. This literature primarily focuses on two aspects: explicit emotional expressions in marketing information and implicit emotional expressions in marketing information. It aims to encourage domestic researchers to further explore the mechanisms through which emotions influence consumers' sharing of marketing information. However, there is a lack of research on how businesses can utilize emotional marketing to incentivize consumers to make purchases. This paper addresses this gap, compensating for existing research deficiencies and effectively guiding businesses in their practical activities. In summary, this study holds significant theoretical and practical implications.

This study looks at how sharing information and working together in the supply chain affect the performance of small and medium herbal businesses in Batam. It also explores how innovation ability plays a middle role in this relationship. The research used a quantitative method by giving questionnaires to 198 herbal businesses in Batam and analyzing the results using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. The results show that information sharing has a significant positive effect on both performance and innovation capability. In contrast, supply chain collaboration and innovation capability do not significantly influence performance, and innovation capability does not mediate the relationship between information sharing or supply chain collaboration and performance. These findings highlight the importance of information sharing in enhancing competitiveness, while collaboration and innovation still require further optimization. Practically, enterprises are encouraged to adopt digital platforms for information sharing and strengthen strategic cooperation with suppliers, while government support is needed through technology and innovation training. This study is limited to Batam with cross-sectional data, suggesting that future research should examine external factors such as digitalization and global market dynamics.

In the pragmaticalization of ya ves que… ‘you see that…’, the perceptual basis of the verb becomes diluted, keeping its deictic profile. Most of its pragmatic values extend to non-perceptual phenomena, implying shared knowledge. Further extensions involve bleaching the concrete referent into abstract shared information in the form of (i) first and second-hand evidentials: shared and alien facts presented as familiar; (ii) mitigators: small appeal to shared information; (iii) miratives missing crucial information; and (iv) a continuity discourse marker where shared information is not relevant. Based on spontaneous oral data from Mexican Spanish, we propose that intersubjectivity prevails given its common ground deictic schema, allowing for assumed information to become diluted into a fictive common space where the speaker assumes the existence of notions the speaker may not always have. Diachronic data support the analysis: data from the 16th–17th century from Spain show the prevalence of testimonial references with no presence of shared knowledge; from the 19th century onward, shared knowledge becomes crucial, and it is not until current informal Mexican Spanish that even referential and shared knowledge may be diluted, and the assessment is validated by incorporating the hearer into the speaker’s mental space.

Participatory action-oriented training (PAOT) is a structured, worker-centered approach designed to improve workplace safety and health. However, its applicability across different contexts remains unclear. This scoping review aims to systematically analyze the existing literature on PAOT, focusing on its utilization with various populations, contexts, and methodological approaches. Using the population-concept-context (PCC) framework, this review defines the population as workers, community members, or managers participating in PAOT; the concept as PAOT; and the context: as workplaces, communities, agriculture, and healthcare settings. Literature, from January 2000 until onward, will be searched in MEDLINE, Embase, PsycINFO, Cochrane Library, Korea Education and Research Information Sharing Service, Korean Studies Information Service System, DBpia, National Digital Science Digital Library, and Japan Medical Abstracts Society. Study selection will be performed independently by three reviewers and the overall review process will be presented transparently in a PRISMA-ScR flowchart. A comprehensive mapping of the PAOT applications will be conducted based on key variables such as study design, implementation context, training components of the action checklist, and improvement outcomes. Since the 1980s, PAOT has been applied in various sectors including small enterprises, agriculture, communities, and healthcare. This review will highlight trends and gaps to support future research and practice.

It is prevalent to leverage unlabeled data to train deep learning models when it is difficult to collect large-scale annotated datasets. However, for 3D gaze estimation, most existing unsupervised learning methods face challenges in distinguishing subtle gaze-relevant information from dominant gaze-irrelevant information. To address this issue, we propose an unsupervised learning framework to disentangle the gaze-relevant and the gaze-irrelevant information, by seeking the shared information of a pair of input images with the same gaze and with the same eye respectively. Specifically, given two images, the framework finds their shared information by first encoding the images into two latent features via two encoders and then switching part of the features before feeding them to the decoders for image reconstruction. We theoretically prove that the proposed framework is able to encode different information into different parts of the latent feature if we properly select the training image pairs and their shared information. Based on the framework, we derive Cross-Encoder and Cross-Encoder++ to learn gaze representation from the eye images and face images, respectively. Experiments on public gaze datasets demonstrate that the Cross-Encoder and Cross-Encoder++ outperform the competitive methods. The ablation study quantitatively and qualitatively shows that the gaze feature is successfully extracted.

This paper presents a new integrated framework combining the Joint Replenishment Problem (JRP) with a generalized Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) system. The model under consideration represents a three-level supply chain consisting of a supplier, manufacturer, and retailer. The model incorporates multiple product types, each produced on a dedicated machine at the manufacturer, subject to setup costs, and major and minor ordering costs. The primary objective of this research is to optimize a set of critical decision variables, including the common order interval, order frequencies for each item, backorder levels at the retailer, and production initiation times at the manufacturer for each product type, under both deterministic and stochastic demand scenarios. This analysis will provide valuable insights for improving joint replenishment operations in manufacturing. The research begins with a deterministic model fit for the particular issue area derived from the canonical JRP. Within a VMI context, the manufacturer, acting as the supply chain leader, utilizes shared information to derive initial feasible solutions. Subsequently, an optimization technique is employed, combining marginal cost-based and cumulative cost-based algorithms, while leveraging embedded discrete Markov chain decomposition method adapting Jacobi stepping method to determine steady-state probabilities. A cost function is then defined for each action state within this framework. The integration of the VMI policy into the JRP model can significantly reduce the whole cost of the supply chain, through balancing between production initiation and backorders under both the deterministic and stochastic models.
