The Problem of Forming Information Competence in the Process of Teaching Kyrgyz Language to Students of the Faculty of Journalism

The article is devoted to the study of the problem of developing information competence in the process of teaching the Kyrgyz language to students of the Faculty of Journalism. This article discusses the terms “competence”, “competence”, “information competence” in the linguodidactic aspect. The article discusses current issues of teaching students of the Faculty of Journalism the Kyrgyz language according to the established standards of the State Educational Standard of Higher Professional Education. Formation of information competence of students of the Faculty of Journalism is an important aspect of their professional development. After all, a future journalist must be ready to work in a fast-moving information space, where the importance of information and the ability to present it play a key role. The problem is that a modern journalist must not only be able to collect and analyze information, but also be able to present it in accordance with the requirements of various formats — from print publications to online news. The goal is to study the problem of developing skills in a future journalist, with the help of which a specialist can adequately respond to the needs of modern society, having the skills to effectively search and analyze information, as well as the ability to present it in accordance with the requirements of various formats. PECULIARITIES OF DETERMINING THE FORMATION OF FUTURE VOCATIONAL TEACHERS’ INFORMATIONAL COMPETENCE IN DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES

According to the results of a number of studies, the formation of information competence in future digital vocational teachers involves targeted and systematic work on the development of critical thinking, improving the ability to analyze and characterize, and skillfully implement innovative approaches in information and communication technologies. Ukrainian and foreign scholars emphasize the need for targeted activities in the area of informatics competence formation as one of the key factors for the formation of a modern specialist, which provides him / her with an undeniable opportunity to increase the level of ability to think, communicate and work effectively. In this situation, the issue of determining the initial state of formation of future vocational teachers’ informational competence in digital technologies deserves special attention. The effectiveness of this process depends on determining the algorithm for the formation of relevant competencies, the choice of forms, methods, and means to be implemented in the educational process.To accomplish such a task, it is necessary to analyze all components of informatics competence and prove the presence or absence of statistical equivalence between the experimental and control groups at the beginning of the experimental study. It should be assumed that the motivational sphere is the basis for effective activities to form informational competence. That is why we began to study the motives and value orientations of future teachers of digital technologies in the control and experimental groups. In particular, in order to establish the real state of formation of the motivational and value component, which covered the motivational and axiological criteria, we chose standardized methods that were adapted to establish a four-level scale to clearly define the level gradation of the state of formation of a specific indicator of information competence by all criteria.

The Use of Case Technology for the Formation of Information Competence for the Future Teachers of Mathematics

The relevance of the selected research topic arises from the numerous challenges encountered in the education of prospective mathematics teachers. The purpose of this research is to substantiate the advisability of using the case technology in the formation of information competence for the future teachers of mathematics in the process of their preparation. This study employs a methodological approach that combines literature analysis, synthesis of pedagogical experiences, statistical observation and a pedagogical experiment to assess the impact of case technology on the development of information competence among students in the context of professional education for future mathematics teachers. The main results of this study include the creation of case groups and their integration into the curriculum for students specializing in ‘mathematics’ and ‘mathematics-informatics’, as well as a comparative analysis of the components of information competence among future graduates and their proficiency levels. The study’s findings hold significant relevance for educators at the Higher School of Natural Sciences at Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, with the overarching objective of preparing competent, highly skilled and competitive mathematics teachers for the job market.

PREPARATION OF THE FUTURE TEACHER FOR THE USE OF INTERNET TECHNOLOGIES IN PRACTICAL ACTIVITIES

The article highlights the main trends in the use of Internet technologies as an innovative direction in modern education, the basis for the formation of the information society, its globalization and informatization, which led to new requirements for professional activity and training of future specialists. The article substantiates the need for Internet resources and outlines the basic conditions for their use in practice; strengthening of the intellectual capabilities of education seekers in the information society, as well as individualization and improvement of the quality of education; organization of distance education; automation of the system of control and assessment of knowledge of education seekers; management of large volumes of information; formation of information competence of applicants; saving money and time, increasing the level of interest in training and professional growth of specialists. The solution of the set goal became possible with the help of such methods as observation, analysis of scientific sources on the raised problem, which made it possible to clarify the essence of the concept of “Internet technologies” and methods of compiling tasks with their help and solving them. The specifics of the use of Internet technologies, principles and means are characterized. Their effectiveness has been established: the use of Internet web resources provides access to a wide range of achievements of world science and research and development.The aim of the work was the theoretical substantiation of the peculiarities of training future specialists for professional activities by means of Internet technologies.It has been proven that the use of Internet technologies allows to positively influence the formation of the future specialist's personality, contributes to his information enrichment, development, ability to think critically, orient himself in the modern world. The main results of the work testify to the need to intensify approaches to the organization of the work of specialists with Internet technologies. In addition, the results of the work are drawing the attention of the community to the justification of the features of Internet technologies, which are determined by effective innovation in education, an effective means of training future specialists for professional activities.

DEVELOPMENT OF ICT COMPETENCE OF PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS IN THE PROCESS OF CONTINUOUS EDUCATION

The article examines the problem of formation of informational competence of future primary school teachers in the process of continuous education . On the basis of the methodological provisions of systemic, personal-activity, competence, and acmeological approaches, the essence of the process of formation of information competence of future primary school teachers is revealed, the peculiarities of theoretical and practical training of future teachers are reflected under the conditions of implementation of the model of formation of information competence of future primary school teachers in the process of continuous education. The research defines the essence of the concept of "information competence of the future primary school teacher" as a systemic personality quality that reflects the theoretical and practical ability of the future primary school teacher to use ICT in the process of implementing training methods for students of the first level of comprehensive general secondary education, self-educational activities.

FORMATION OF INFROMATION COMPETENCES OF PUPILS OF GENERAL SECONDARY EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS OF THE FIRST DEGREE BY MEANS OF GOOGLE SERVICES APPLYING

The article analyzes the problem of information competence’s formation of pupils of general secondary education institutions of the first degree applying the Google services. It was noted that today the issue of information competence’s formation of pupils, has been actualized, especially in conditions of distance learning. The main purpose of the article is to identify the possibilities of using Google services in the educational process of general secondary education of the first degree, to establish and describe prospects of formation of information competence’s formation of pupils of general secondary education institutions of the first degree. То achieve the goal and objectives of the research, analytical and synthetic methods of working with scientific and methodical sources, analysis of own experience in the field of IT technologies were used to determine the toolkit of Google services for the formation of innovative competence of children of primary school age The content of the following concepts: «competence», «information competence», «digital competence», «information service» and «modern interactive educational environment» was analyzed and disclosed in this article. The concept of information competence and its formation according to the requirements of the new Ukrainian school was considered. The particular attention was focused on the effective usage of information technologies during epidemiological and military events. The list of the best information services that can be applied in the education process in order to form the information competence of primary students is presented. Detailed instructions for all information services considered in this article were developed. These instructions were presented with a brief description of work and effective usage in the educational process of distance learning. In addition, the patterns of structuring the corresponding services in the form of interactive educational environment were described. The format of the offered interactive educational environments meets all the standards and requirements provided by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

MANAGEMENT OF PROFESSIONALLY-ORIENTED STUDIES OF INFORMATIVE SUBJECTS FUTURE TEACHERS OF TECHNOLOGY

The article deals with the problem of management of professionally-oriented teaching of Information technology disciplines of future technology teachers. The criteria for the formation of information competence of future technology teachers are identified. Levels of formation of information competence of future technology teachers are characterized: high, medium and low. The methodology of professionally-oriented teaching of Information technology disciplines of future technology teachers is grounded, which includes: content design, integration of traditional and innovative organizational forms and methods, application of active and interactive teaching technologies; their functions, tasks, a set of necessary and sufficient, special professional knowledge and skills that are formed in logically-based process of studying Information technology disciplines. Research-experimental work on the determination of the effectiveness of the method of professionally-oriented teaching information disciplines to future technology teachers was conducted. Quantitative and qualitative analysis of the experimental work to confirm effectiveness of the methodology of professionally-oriented teaching information disciplines to future technology teachers was investigated. The results of the experiment revealed positive dynamics of formation of information competence of future technology teachers (in the experimental groups a high level of formation of information competence increased compared to the establishing stage by 23.85%; medium – by 11.95%, and low one decreased by 35.8%. In the control groups dynamics is insignificant).

Application Software Package as a Means of Professional Training of Sewing Industry Specialists in the Conditions of the University

The article is devoted to the application software package usage as a means of professional training of sewing industry specialists in the conditions of the university. It is established that the information competence formation of future sewing industry engineers should be carried out taking into account the peculiarities of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) usage at modern enterprises. The content peculiar features of information training of future sewing industry specialists have been studied based on of the analysis of educational curricula developed at Mukachevo State University. Foreign experience in the ICT usage in higher education has also been considered on the example of the Technical University of Liberec, Czech Republic. The following scientific methods as systematization, analysis, generalization of theoretical sources and statistical data, structuring of pedagogical information on designing the content of educational curricula as well as the comparative analysis of foreign experience in the ICT usage in higher education have been applied to conduct the research. The authors suggest that the development of own information products by the higher educational establishment, which are used within professionally-oriented disciplines are among the ways to increase the ICT competencies of future specialists in the garment industry. Thorough study of the peculiarities of the application software packages usage during the training and production and engineering practices in the conditions of garment production also improve the level of information competence of students.

Formation of information competence of future specialists of culture and arts in the process of professional training in higher education institutions

The article examines the role and importance of information competence. The main attention is paid to the analysis of the teaching experience of university teachers from different European countries, a set of courses and disciplines that are offered for use in the training of culturologists and art critics. Accordingly, the purpose of the work is to analyze the features of the formation of information competence among specialists in culture and arts in the process of professional training in higher education institutions. We used particular methods as synthesis, analysis, induction and deduction, methods of comparison and abstraction. The conclusions state that during the study students get acquainted with the basics of information competence during theoretical courses, but work with its use is based on practical use. An analysis of the curricula of several European universities has shown that the integration of this element into the educational process is linked to practice.

Применение цифровых технологий в инклюзивном образовании в условиях вуза

The article analyzes theoretical and practical aspects of the use of digital technologies in a university environment, notes the main problems and opportunities for integrating digital technologies into inclusive education. On the basis of the studied material, the author compiled the visual structure of the digital inclusive educational environment, demonstrating the multidimensionality and complexity of the digitalization process of inclusive education. A high level of preparation of students with special educational needs in the digital environment is an urgent task in the educational system, which can be ensured through the implementation of certain pedagogical conditions. The purpose of the article is to confirm the effectiveness of the implementation of pedagogical conditions for the formation of information competence of students with special educational needs by means of e-learning. As the designated pedagogical conditions, the following are described: the development of electronic information and educational environment and the development of interactive educational content by means of information technology. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that pedagogical conditions have been developed and substantiated, contributing to the effective formation of information competence of students with special educational needs by means of e-learning. The theoretical significance of the work is presented by the results of the selection and systematization of the results of scientific research on the problem under study, which provides an objective and comprehensive view when assessing the prospects for the use of digital technologies in the context of inclusive education at a university. The practical significance of the work is presented by the developed pedagogical conditions that can be applied in the practice of teaching universities in order to improve the quality of training for students with special educational needs. Технологии формирования иноязычной информационной компетенции студентов технического вуза

The purpose of the study is to identify the features characterising the technologies of concept-based learning, inquiry-based learning, project-based learning as a component of the methodological system of teaching students of non-linguistic universities in the process of mastering foreign-language information competence. The author substantiates the need to use technologies of foreign-language information processing. The paper considers and analyses the main principles and content bases of specially selected and adapted learning technologies during the implementation of foreign-language information activities. Scientific novelty lies in developing and describing a set of technologies aimed at foreign-language information competence formation among students of a technical university. As a result, the author characterises the main stages of the implementation of the presented technologies, clarifies their role in foreign-language information competence formation among students of a technical university.

Formation of information competence with the help of automated systems for linguists-translators

Introduction. The rapid increase in the volume of information, the expansion of international contacts, the emergence of new branches of science and technology pose new challenges to modern translators. In this regard, computerization of the translation process is an integral part of the translation sphere. The purpose of the presented article is to analyze cloud translation systems, determine their advantages and disadvantages with the subsequent possibility of their application in the educational process of translator training. Research methods. The empirical study involved 60 respondents – undergraduate students of Vyatka State University, Kirov (Russian Federation). The main research methods are observation (project creation practices, setting up project parameters, connecting terminological databases and translation memory databases, checking the quality of the translation performed), questioning (identifying the attitude of students to the use of a particular cloud system, generalized assessment of the functionality of desktop and cloud CAT systems, etc.) and interpretation of the results (implementation features students of translation projects using CAT cloud systems, a comparative analysis of the functional parameters of these systems, identification of the feasibility of including the cloud systems used in the translator training program). Research results. As a result of the consideration of the modern process of teaching translation students, the role and importance of studying and mastering automated and cloud translation systems for the formation of professional information competence are established. According to surveys, 74% of respondents approve of the expediency of studying CAT systems. 92% of students understand the need to master CAT cloud systems at the current stage for successful further professional activity. The analyzed CAT cloud systems (MemSource, Wordfast, XTM Cloud) were positively evaluated in terms of interface clarity (50%), ease of creating a translation project (54%), support for the translation process (44%) and presented as an important tool for preparing and executing translation projects, which is confirmed by the results of automatic data calculation – Pearson's chi-squared test. In the course of the work, the factors that form the professional information competence of VYATSU students were also identified: the functionality and parameters of the system versions, continuity in training, skills needed to work with databases, the creation of specialized translation tools. Conclusions. An important aspect of the process of forming an information competence of a translator is to determine the list and type of basic translation tools that should be mastered in the learning process. The introduction of CAT cloud systems into the content of the training of future translators is one of the urgent problems at the present stage of the development of the translation industry.

DIDACTIC PRINCIPLES OF INFORMATION COMPETENCE FORMATION IN INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS OF MEDICAL SPECIALTIES

The article analyzes the didactic principles of information competence formation in international students of medical specialties. The definition of the concept “didactic principle” is presented. Basic general and specific didactic principles are determined and substantiated. Theoretical background on the basis of scientific research review is provided. Various systems of didactic principles of information-communication and information competence formation are analyzed. It is concluded that the formation of information competence of foreign medical students should be implemented on the basis of taking into account two groups of principles: leading general didactic and specific. The following principles are included into the first group: system-orientation and systematicity (organization of the submission of educational material in a certain order, that is, the logical connection of each new element of its content with the previous and subsequent element, as well as ensuring the systematic assimilation of educational material by the applicants through the implementation of systematic actions of all participants in the educational process); awareness (leads to a thorough acquisition of students’ knowledge on the basis of awareness of their close connection with practical activities, ensuring the integration of the knowledge, skills acquired in the educational process, skills for successful completion of tasks in quasi-professional and professional activities); scientific-orientation (points to the existence of a regular link between scientific information and educational material in different disciplines, and also involves the disclosure of the objectivity of scientific facts, concepts, laws, theories, coverage of modern achievements and prospects for the development of various scientific fields, including medical); individualization and differentiation of training (provides consideration of individual characteristics and educational opportunities of each foreign medical student). The specific principles are identified: professional orientation (the process of forming the specified competence of the applicants is closely related to their professional development); taking into account the mental and cultural characteristics of foreign students (involves taking into account their socio-cultural characteristics: cultural, ethnic, religious, linguistic, as well as cultural traditions, customs, social value orientations, which allows to counteract the communicative barriers that arise in the environment, different cultures); activity and interactivity-orientation (encourages students to participate actively in the educational process through the organization of the teacher of an interactive educational environment, in particular through the widespread use of active and interactive methods, teaching aids, which will promote better perception and assimilation of educational material, the formation of their positive attitude to the learning; updating the subjective position of the applicants when working with information (aimed at selecting a set of methods, forms, training tools that ensures the transformation of the future specialist into an autonomous subject of information activity).

The article is devoted to the issues of improving the quality of education in a modern information society. The requirements for the modern education system in the process of forming the information competence of graduates are stated. A systematic, unified approach to information competence is a theoretical basis for studying trends and conditions of development, substantiating its essential features, substantiating the criteria and levels of its formation. On the basis of theoretical analysis, proceeding from combinations of various stages of mastering information competencies, the article highlights the levels of information competence formation. The level of development of information competence of a future specialist as a set of motivational, informational, technological and personal components is presented.

Results of the study of information competence formation of future specialists in navigation and ship handling

The article presents the results of experimental testing of pedagogical conditions for forming information competence of future specialists in navigation and ship handling. While teaching the disciplines «Ocean Routes of the World», «Navigation Bridge Resource Management», «Actions in Accidents, Search and Rescue at Sea», «Navigation Information Systems» it is suggested to use interactive methods to form the cadets’ ability to generalize, analyze and use information during professional interaction, develop the ability to spread information about vessel handling, workload management, to share their experience in navigation with other people, make requests, give suggestions on solving pressing problems. To develop cadets' skills in information support of navigation information systems, it is proposed to use electronic educational resources, including educational, information, scientific, reference materials presented in electronic form or stored in computer networks. The importance of modern technologies, including information resources of the Internet, such as blogs, web quests, blog quests, as well as simulation technologies with augmented and virtual reality has been highlighted.

On the experience of health professionals’ information competence formation in the framework of continuing professional education

Immediacy of such a problem as health professionals’ information competence formation is due to the necessity of continuing improvement of pedagogical approaches, methods and technologies of educating medical staff how to use information technologies in their professional activity to provide for their correspondence to the stable and outrunning level of society development in the process of education and healthcare digital transformation. The article aims at the formation of methodological approaches to the pedagogical process studying the use of information technologies in the framework of post-graduate continuing education of health professionals taking into account their professional requirements and work specifics. The leading method of the problem study is the method of involved observation that enabled to make authentic comparison and analyze inquiries of 349 professionals attending the courses of continuing education. The article shows that the applied pedagogical approaches and methods have to correspond to the modern level of information technologies and digital education development, characterized by qualitative changes in the technologies that process and transfer data and widely use the intellectual decision making systems. It states the results obtained in the practical implementation of the offered theoretical and methodological approaches to the process of health professionals’ information competence formation. This results in the developed complex of methodological approaches to teaching information technologies at the general scientific, specific scientific and method and technological levels enabling the formation of health professionals’ information competence. The article can be useful for students and teachers of pedagogical universities, teachers of medical universities and institutions involved in health professionals’ continuing education.

Formation of Future Specialists’ Information Competence

In the thesis the formation of information competence of future interpreters’ in professional training as a pedagogical problem has been considered; the psychological and pedagogical aspects of formation of information competence of future interpreters’ have been clarified; the tasks and problems of forming the information competence of future interpreters in the professional training have been determined and substantiated. It was found that the creation of an interactive educational environment is a transition from static information websites to dynamic, involving the use of multimedia simulators for learning, simple learning modules, complex distribution learning systems, e-course courses, open portal boards for members of the learning community and parents, interuniversity training courses. This interactive approach is relevant for the formation of information and communication competence of future specialists of Donetsk National University named after Vasyl Stus, Zhytomyr State University named after Ivan Franko, National Pedagogical University named after MP Drahomanov, Khmelnytsky National University, which provides inclusion of all departments of the university in partner relations with the administration, students, teaching staff, teachers of schools in cities and regions, public organizations with the help of ICT. The results of this study are directly relevant in establishing international cooperation in the study of programs and projects in the context of transforming the education system in accordance with international partnership standards and implementing a cultural exchange program in education and culture between countries.

ІНФОРМАЦІЙНА КОМПЕТЕНТНІСТЬ МАЙБУТНІХ ДОКТОРІВ ФІЛОСОФІЇ ЯК ІНТЕГРАТИВНИЙ ПОКАЗНИК ЕФЕКТИВНОЇ ДОСЛІДНИЦЬКОЇ ДІЯЛЬНОСТІ

In the article the definitional analysis of the concept of «information competence» is performed and the author’s own definition of this term is formulated. Based on the theoretical analysis of the study of this problem, the main components of the concept are determined from the point of view of information competence as a component of research. The main components of the general competence of a teacher-researcher, as well as the interdependence of professionalism, information and research competence are determined. The most effective technologies for the formation of information competence in future Ph.Ds. are justified. The relevance of the acquisition of future Ph.D’s. information competence in the conditions of research activity has been proved. The main skills of a future Ph.D. in the context of information competence were revealed, determining their readiness to work in the new conditions of informatization of education. Based on the synthesis of the analyzed scientific views on the structure of information competence and taking into account the research aspect, the structural analysis of information competence was implemented.

FORMATION OF INFORMATION COMPETENCE IN FUTURE PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS IN THE CONDITIONS OF IMPLEMENTATION THE UPDATED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

The article reveals the content of selective educational components offered to the students of the Faculty of Primary Education, in the process of studying which the formation of information competence in future primary school teachers is taken place. Positive changes that are predicted in the professional knowledge, skills, and abilities of future primary school teachers regarding media education, media culture, and network technologies are described. The content of legislative documents on information, the concept of information security, information warfare, etc., is revealed in the article. In our study, the concept of information competence is considered as the studentʼs ability to work with information. In the rapidly changing flow of information, the future teacher must have not only the ability to find information but also qualitatively analyze it, synthesize, compare, structure, and teach these abilities to their students, help them adapt to the educational environment, implement the developmental function of learning in information and communication school environment. The article examines the level of formation of information competence of students of 2nd and 4th year in specialty 013 “Primary Education”. The levels of information competence formation in future primary school teachers, such as primary, secondary and high, are described.
