Buffering the harmful effects of technostress on innovation in physical education: The roles of perceived innovation importance and creative self-efficacy.
  • May 1, 2026
  • Acta psychologica
  • Chang Liu + 1 more

Innovation has become indispensable across sectors, yet empirical research exploring its antecedents in physical education remains limited. Grounded in the transactional theory of stress and coping, this study investigates how creative self-efficacy mediates the relationship between technostress and innovation in physical education, and how perceived innovation importance moderates these links. Using a time-lagged, multisource survey design, data were collected from 405 faculty members across physical education departments at Chinese universities and analyzed via variance-based structural equation modeling. Results reveal that elevated technostress-comprising overload, invasion, complexity, insecurity, and uncertainty-diminishes creative self-efficacy, which subsequently reduces teachers' implementation of innovative instructional strategies and technologies. Furthermore, the negative influence of technostress on both creative self-efficacy and innovation is significantly weakened when educators perceive innovation as integral to their institution's mission. These findings position creative self-efficacy as a critical psychological mechanism through which technostress hinders innovation and highlight perceived innovation importance as a contextual buffer that can mitigate these adverse effects. For policymakers and educational leaders, the study reinforces the value of cultivating educators' creative confidence alongside an institutional culture that prioritizes innovation. Together, these strategies can help offset the detrimental impact of technostress and support sustainable pedagogical innovation in physical education.

IMPLEMENTATION OF INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES IN HOSPITALITY ENTERPRISES
  • Apr 23, 2026
  • Journal of Strategic Economic Research
  • Olena Akhmedova + 1 more

In a rapidly changing, highly competitive technological environment, the hospitality industry must continually improve its services and business processes. Guests expect fast, personalized, and technologically convenient service, which requires implementing innovative solutions at every stage of customer interaction with the company. The use of digital technologies, namely, mobile applications, automated management systems, contactless services, artificial intelligence, and IoT solutions in rooms, is becoming a key factor in the competitiveness of hospitality businesses. Innovative technologies enable improvements in service quality, cost optimization, enhanced guest and staff safety, and the development of long-term customer loyalty. Therefore, research into the implementation of innovative technologies in the hospitality industry is highly relevant, as it enables the identification of practical development tools, enhances competitiveness, and facilitates the sustainable operation of businesses in a dynamic market environment. The study is based on the hypothesis that the implementation of innovative technologies in hospitality enterprises leads to statistically and managerially significant improvements in operational efficiency, service quality, and competitiveness; however, the magnitude and sustainability of these effects are conditional on implementation quality, specifically, the alignment of technology initiatives with business strategy, the level of process integration and data governance, the availability of employee skills and change-management practices. The purpose of the study is to examine modern approaches and practical aspects of implementing innovative technologies in hospitality enterprises, assess their impact on operational efficiency, competitiveness, and service quality, and identify key organizational and external factors that enable or hinder successful implementation. Methods used include systematization, generalization, comparison, economic modeling, and case-study analysis. The findings indicate that innovative technologies in hospitality deliver the strongest results when implementation is treated as a coordinated transformation of processes, data, and human roles rather than as the deployment of isolated digital tools. For hospitality enterprises, the practical value of innovation is most visible in three areas: operational streamlining and cost control through automation and integrated platforms; service quality stabilization via faster, more reliable customer journeys and consistent service standards; competitiveness enhancement through analytics-driven decisions, stronger digital distribution, and personalized guest communication. In the Ukrainian context, these effects are particularly relevant because technology can support resilience and continuity under volatility provided that adoption is staged, supported by workforce development, and governed by cybersecurity and data protection practices.

  • G L Utenkov + 2 more

The task of providing Russia with food is currently especially relevant, since the level of our country's dependence on food imports has exceeded the thresholds of national security. And the main factor in the existing potential of the country is the biologization and ecologization of intensification processes with high technogenic equipment. All developments in agriculture should be aimed at maximum reclamation of the natural and climatic potential of the country. The level of per capita grain consumption as one of the main criteria of world and national food security is 1.0 – 1.2 tons / person. 3 kg of grain are required to produce 1 kg of meat. The remaining relatively high share of imported meat and especially dairy products narrows the resources of the feed grain market for the development of domestic animal husbandry and, first of all, cattle breeding. A deficiency of plant and animal proteins has been noted. However, the general conditions of farming, crop production and livestock farming are naturally accompanied by an increase in specific costs and energy costs to obtain an additional unit of output. Siberian agriculture does not meet its potential. Extensive agricultural technologies prevail. There is an opportunity to increase grain production in the country by 2 or 3 times. For specific conditions, it will be necessary to justify the yield value as an integral indicator of agriculture for the selection of agricultural technologies for cultivating grain crops. Therefore, fundamental achievements in the agro-industrial complex are possible only on the basis of the creation and implementation of innovative technologies that arise in complex processes ensuring the stability of their output indicators which requiring multidisciplinary research. And this causes the need for the creation of a new methodological base for innovative processes. Systematized theoretical knowledge from various technologies is needed, capable of generating extraordinary solutions to technological and technical problems. There is a need to change the research paradigm.

ANALYSIS OF THE DEPENDENCE OF FUEL GAS CONSUMPTION OF A GAS PUMPING UNIT ON AMBIENT AIR TEMPERATURE: A CASE STUDY OF GPA-16R «UFA»
  • Mar 4, 2026
  • Problems of Gathering Treatment and Transportation of Oil and Oil Products
  • A.R Ulmaskulov + 1 more

This article investigates the impact of ambient air temperature on the fuel gas consumption of a gas pumping unit using the GPA-16R «Ufa» as a case study, which is actively operated by Gazprom Transgaz Ufa, LLC. The analysis is based on operational data from the unit during the period from 12.04.2024 to 03.05.2024. The results show that with stable power consumption by the centrifugal compressor of the gas pumping unit, an increase in the inlet air temperature to the low-pressure compressor leads to an increase in fuel gas consumption. It has been established that a decrease in ambient air temperature contributes to a reduction in natural gas consumption, which is confirmed by actual operational data. This study emphasizes the importance of exploring methods to reduce fuel gas consumption, particularly through cooling the air entering the gas-air duct of the gas pumping unit. In conditions where natural gas consumption accounts for up to 91 % of the total consumption of fuel and energy resources in Gazprom, PJSC, optimizing fuel consumption becomes especially relevant.During the analysis, groups of parameters reflecting the dependence of fuel gas con-sumption on the temperature at the compressor inlet at various gas pumping unit power levels were identified. The results indicate a linear relationship between these variables, suggesting the potential for increased energy efficiency of the units at lower air temperatures. Thus, the findings of the study highlight the necessity for developing technical solutions aimed at cooling the air entering the gas pumping unit, which could lead to significant fuel savings and improved overall efficiency of the gas transportation system. Future research plans include expanding the study to analyze the impact of other factors, such as humidity and pressure, on fuel gas consumption, allowing for a more comprehensive assessment of the potential for enhancing the energy efficiency of gas pumping units. Additionally, the implementation of innovative energy-saving technologies, such as turboexpander installations, heat recovery systems, and vortex tubes, is also proposed, which could further contribute to reducing fuel costs and improving the environmental performance of the gas transportation system.
