PHOENIX — Whether violence against women is actually on the rise or if crime numbers are higher because more students are coming forward to report, campus safety in regard to sexual violence is increasingly a matter of concern. In a session at the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators annual conference, Roz Kelsey, instructor at the University of Regina; and Pat Patton, director of security and operations at UR, talked about the innovative new program, Man Up Against Violence, that they have implemented on campus to address sexual assault by fostering healthy masculinities.
