An Overview of the Application of Convolutional Neural Networks inSentiment Analysis

The field of natural language processing, or NLP, uses its understanding of human language to find practical solutions to issues. It mainly includes two parts: the core task and the application. The core task represents the common problem that needs to be solved in various natural language application directions. It includes language models, morphology, grammar analysis, semantic analysis, etc. At the same time, the application section focuses on specific natural language processing tasks such as machine translation, information retrieval, question-answering systems, dialogue systems, etc. Natural language processing has made a significant contribution to the development of human society and the economy and provides strong support for all aspects of research work. Opinion mining, or sentiment analysis, is a subfield of natural language processing that develops systems for identifying and extracting ideas from text. Sentiment analysis is a hot topic since it has many practical applications. Many opinion-expressing texts are available on review sites, forums, blogs, and social media as the amount of publicly available information on the Internet grows. This unstructured information can then be automatically transformed into structured data about products, services, brands, politics, or other topics on which people can express their opinions using sentiment analysis systems. This information can be used for marketing analytics, public relations, product reviews, network sponsor ratings, product feedback, and customer service. With the rapid growth of labeled sample data sets and the notable enhancement in graphics processor (GPU) performance, convolutional neural network research has advanced rapidly and achieved remarkable leads to various computer vision tasks. By reviewing the application of CNN, we see that convolutional operations are naturally suitable for some text processing and, thus, naturally suitable for the background of sentiment analysis.

A GIS Automated Tool for Morphometric Flood Analysis Based on the Horton–Strahler River Classification System

The development of human society over the past century has led to an explosion in population numbers and a migration of settlements to river valleys, which have become increasingly exposed to the risk of flooding. In this context, the scientific community has begun to work on identifying mathematical and spatial models that can help to identify areas at risk as quickly as possible. The present article is one that follows this objective, proposing an automatic model that can be implemented in ArcGIS and that aims to identify only areas at risk of flooding using a single file, the DEM. The novelty of this article and the usefulness of the method are given precisely by the fact that it is possible to quickly find out which areas may be exposed to flooding, i.e., water accumulations, only based on relief, which is extremely useful for local authorities. The analysis was conducted on all hierarchy orders, according to the Horton–Strahler classification system, for the entire Romanian territory. The results consist of a polygonal vector layer in shapefile format, containing an attribute table with all the initial, intermediary, and final calculations in separate numeric fields. Each parameter was normalized in order to obtain the final morphometric flood vulnerability score. Postprocessing these results involved applying a Principal Component Analysis to identify weights for the components that encompass all morphometric parameters. Each drainage basin reveals a dimensionless morphometric flood vulnerability score value that is comparable with all other basins in Romania.

Analysis of Genetic Diversity in Romanian Carpatina Goats Using SNP Genotyping Data.

Animal husbandry is one of man's oldest occupations. It began with the domestication of animals and developed continuously, in parallel with the evolution of human society. The selection and improvement of goats in Romania was not a clearly defined objective until around 1980. In recent years, with the increasing economic value given to goats, breeding programs are becoming established. In Romania, a few goat genetic studies using microsatellites and mtDNA have been carried out; however, a systematic characterization of the country's goat genomic resources remains missing. In this study, we analyzed the genetic variability of Carpatina goats from four distinct geographical areas (northern, north-eastern, eastern and southern Romania), using the Illumina OvineSNP60 (RefSeq ARS1) high-density chip for 67 goats. Heterozygosity values, inbreeding coefficients and effective population size across all autosomes were calculated for those populations that inhabit high- and low-altitude and high- and low-temperature environments. Diversity, as measured by expected heterozygosity (HE), ranged from 0.413 in the group from a low-temperature environment to 0.420 in the group from a high-temperature environment. Within studied groups, the HT (high temperature) goats were the only group with a positive but low average inbreeding coefficient value, which was 0.009. After quality control (QC) analysis, 46,965 SNPs remained for analysis (MAF < 0.01). LD was calculated for each chromosome separately. The Ne has been declining since the time of domestication, having recently reached 123, 125, 185 and 92 for the HA (high altitude), LA (low altitude), HT (high temperature) and LT (low temperature) group, respectively. Our study revealed a low impact of inbreeding in the Carpatina population, and the Ne trend also indicated a steep decline in the last hundred years. These results will contribute to the genetic improvement of the Carpatina breed.

Greenhouse gas emissions and rising atmospheric temperatures are triggering various extreme weather events, sea level rise, and ecological imbalances. These changes not only affect the stability and sustainable development of human society but also pose a serious threat to the Earth's ecosystems and biodiversity. Faced with this global challenge, finding effective solutions has become urgent. This article aims to propose a comprehensive artificial intelligence design approach to address issues related to carbon neutrality. This method integrates technologies from fields such as computer vision, natural language processing, and deep learning to achieve a comprehensive understanding of environmental conservation and innovative solutions. Specifically, the authors first use a visual module to extract features from images, which helps capture important information in the images. Next, we employ the ALBEF model for cross-modal alignment, enabling better collaboration between images and textual information.

Network Attack Chain Security Model Construction Based On Attack Framework

All facets of society's governance, economics, and culture have been impacted by networking. Network attacks have become more common as a result of the digital revolution, which has also facilitated major changes in worldwide communication and accelerated the development of human society. An unauthorized attempt to access a network with the goal of committing theft or other forms of damage is what we call a network attack. This article focuses on building a chain security model utilising the block chain concept in order to address the issue of inaccurate assessments of forged malicious behavioural methods for identification. It uses the NIK-256 hashing algorithm to identify valid users utilising time-dependent verification. Passwords and recorded times are maintained in a combined chain database, which combines blockchain technology and the Trusted Platform Module (TPM), improving data security and privacy. After that, we schedule users using the Whale optimisation algorithm (WOA), which decreases difficulty, and then a smart contract is developed that grants authorised users access control based on their level of trust and permission. The proposed approach, known as Hyb_chain_TPM, implements countermeasures in accordance with the attack risk level and stores the attack graph in a combined chain database for future attack forecasting. Utilising diverse attack datasets, extensive tests are run to validate this system. Additionally, the outcomes of privacy protection and AI processes are assessed independently and contrasted using a variety of current techniques.

Using the Degree-Day Method to Analyze Central Heating Energy Consumption in Cities of Northern China

In the context of global population growth and energy scarcity, building energy consumption has become a critical issue with implications for the sustainable development of human society. Winter heating consumption constitutes a large portion of total energy used in buildings, especially in regions with cold climates. This paper employs the degree-day method to analyze the energy consumption of central heating in northern Chinese cities. The study sample consists of 60 target cities, including 30 located in severe cold regions and the remaining 30 in cold regions. By utilizing heating energy consumption and climate data from 2019, the relationships between heating intensity (kWh/m2) and heating degree days (HDDs) are established for the selected cities. Additionally, statistical analysis and model comparisons are conducted. The results show strong positive correlations between heating intensity and HDDs in both severe cold regions and cold regions, with the actual heating base temperatures for the two regions being 21 °C and 22.3 °C, respectively. Moreover, the deviation index of heating intensity is introduced to analyze the energy consumption characteristics of central heating in northern cities from three perspectives: city size, level of heating development, and geographical regions. The analysis suggests that cities with large population, strong economies, and high levels of development exhibit better energy-saving performance. Lastly, several improvement suggestions are proposed to address the potential problems related to energy conservation of central heating systems in cities of northern China.

Plasma Technology for Advanced Electrochemical Energy Storage.

"Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality" is an important strategic goal for the sustainable development of human society. Typically, a key means to achieve these goals is through electrochemical energy storage technologies and materials. In this context, the rational synthesis and modification of battery materials through new technologies play critical roles. Plasma technology, based on the principles of free radical chemistry, is considered a promising alternative for the construction of advanced battery materials due to its inherent advantages such as superior versatility, high reactivity, excellent conformal properties, low consumption and environmental friendliness. In this perspective paper, we discuss the working principle of plasma and its applied research on battery materials based on plasma conversion, deposition, etching, doping, etc. Furthermore, the new application directions of multiphase plasma associated with solid, liquid and gas sources are proposed and their application examples for batteries (e. g. lithium-ion batteries, lithium-sulfur batteries, zinc-air batteries) are given. Finally, the current challenges and future development trends of plasma technology are briefly summarized to provide guidance for the next generation of energy technologies.

The Impact of Large-Scale Water Diversion Projects on the Water Supply Network: A Case Study in Southwest China

The uneven spatial and temporal distribution of water resources has consistently been one of the most significant limiting factors for social development in many regions. Furthermore, with the intensification of climate change, this inequality is progressively widening, posing a critical challenge to the sustainable development of human societies. The construction of large-scale water projects has become one of the crucial means to address the contradictions between water supply and demand. Thus, evaluating the functional aspects of water source network structures and systematically planning the layout of engineering measures in a scientifically reasonable manner are pressing issues that require urgent attention in current research efforts. Addressing this, our study takes the Erhai Lake basin and the surrounding areas in southwest China as the study area and combines landscape ecology and network analysis theory methods to propose a water supply network analysis method that takes into account both structure and node characteristics. Based on this methodology, we analyze the connectivity characteristics of water supply networks in the Erhai region under current (2020) and future (2035) planning scenarios. The results show that there were 215 nodes and 216 links in the water supply network of the Erhai Lake basin in 2020; with the implementation of a series of water conservancy projects, the planned 2035 water supply network will increase by 122 nodes and 163 links, and the connectivity of the regional water network will be significantly improved. Also, we identify some key nodes in the network, and the results show that the water supply network in 2035 will have obvious decentralization characteristics compared with that in 2020. And, based on the network degradation analysis, we find that with the implementation of engineering measures, the resilience of the water supply network will be significantly strengthened by 2035, with stronger risk tolerance. This study extends the quantitative representation of water source network characteristics, which can provide a useful reference for water network structure planning and optimization.

Holocene stratigraphic architecture of a Mediterranean delta and implication for sediment budget evolution: Example of the Rhône delta

Deltaic systems evolve as a result of interactions between the hydroclimatic processes that occur in the catchment area and the coastal marine processes that reshape the coastline. The Holocene evolution of these environments is controlled by climate and anthropization, which are rarely considered in models of the evolution of deltaic systems. The Rhône delta has recorded the impact of climatic variations as well as the development and evolution of human societies over the Holocene period. This system underwent a post-glacial evolution controlled by global climatic warming punctuated by short periods of cooling, fluvial metamorphoses and a rapid marine transgression generated by the melting of the ice caps, followed by the initiation of delta progradation from around 7000 cal yr BP. Sedimentological and chronostratigraphic studies of 17 cores, supplementing an existing dataset on the deltaic plain and the prodelta, have enabled us to construct well-constrained stratigraphic correlations, making it possible to specify the spatio-temporal evolution of the Rhône delta. The variation in sedimentary fluxes was assessed for the different sequences identified, using 95 new core datings to constrain the sequential evolution of the different lobes. From the stratigraphic correlations on the delta and the estimated volumes of sediments exported out of the deltaic system, the total sediment volume between 11,700 cal yr BP and today is estimated at 126 billion m3. The variation of sediment fluxes has been adjusted according to the different phases of lobe progradation linked with the climate oscillations and the anthropic activity evolution during the Holocene. Taken together, these data highlight contrasting periods corresponding to the Roman period, the Little Ice Age and finally the ‘Anthropocene’, that can be compared to the main Mediterranean deltaic systems during the Holocene.

Enhancing energy recovery and microbial stability in blackwater anaerobic digestion with graphite felt

Maximizing energy recovery from blackwater (toilet wastewater) helps the sustainable development of human society. This study introduces a novel approach by integrating graphite felt in anaerobic baffled reactor for enhanced blackwater treatment under room temperature. During the 382-day operation, incorporating graphite felt effectively mitigated hydrolysis and methanogenesis constraints, resulting in a 1.26 to 3.53-fold increase in methane yield compared to the control. The maximum energy recovery was attained at a hydraulic retention time of 1.59 d and an organic loading rate of 2.68 kg COD/m3reactor/d, with a methane production rate of 371 ± 55 NL CH4/m3reactor/d and a methanization rate of 39.44 ± 5.58 % in graphite felt amended reactor. Our findings revealed that graphite felt augmented the efficiency of microbial and enzymatic interactions with the substrate, and enriched hydrolysis fermentation-associated bacteria for efficient solid matter degradation. Further analysis unveiled that graphite felt strengthened the activity of hydrogenotrophic methanogens and fortified the syntrophic relationship between bacteria and archaea. This led to the promotion of a combined syntrophic acetate oxidation and hydrogenotrophic methanogenesis pathway, which guaranteed a stable and efficient methane production process. Overall, this approach offers a cost-effective and efficient strategy to support sustainable development in less-developed, resource-constrained regions.

Conversely, the free flow and rational use of individual data have greatly improved the quality of People's Daily social life and have also become an important strategic resource and driving force to promote the enhancement of government governance capabilities and the social development of the future digital economy. Therefore, it can be said that the balance of interests between the preservation and Use of personal messages has become the foundation of the rule of law development of privacy preservation for personal data in contemporary society. Given this, based on previous studies, this paper will further study and discuss the interest balance between the preservation and application of private data in the advancement of contemporary civilization by using the methods of value analysis, legal hermeneutics analysis, and comparative analysis, and propose that within limits permitted by law and with the interests of the information subject as the bottom line, The legal foundation for information users' usage of personal data can be suitably increased to strike a balance between the needs of usage and security of personal messages.

Innovation under environmental constraints: Does corporate environmental responsibility matter in green innovation?

&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;"&gt;When human civilization is thriving to the rapid economic and social development, the deteriorating ecological environment has also pressured the society to put environmental protection issues on the agenda future development. Therefore, green innovation is not merely a requirement for a corporate&amp;rsquo;s long-term development but the basics of sustainable development of human society. As an objective indicator to measure a company's commitment to social responsibility, corporate environmental responsibility has an extremely important impact on a corporate's business philosophy and innovation strategy. However, the existing literature rarely studies between these two variables. This paper collects the data of listed companies from 2010 to 2019 and empirically tests the impact of corporate environmental responsibility on corporate green innovation. The study finds that corporate environmental responsibility can promote green innovation by reducing financing constraints, improving corporate governance and increasing government subsidies and R&amp;amp;D investment, and the result is still significant under a series of robustness checks. The placebo test suggests that the Jiangsu enterprise responsibility construction pilot has facilitated the development of enterprises' green innovation to a great extent. The conclusions enrich existing literature on corporate environmental responsibility and corporate green innovation, providing implications for government policy orientation, social atmosphere guidance and corporate strategic decision-making process.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

Enhancing hydrogen storage efficiency: Surface-modified boron nanosheets combined with IRMOF-20 for safe and selective hydrogen storage

The future development of human society is closely related to the development of new energy approaches which frequently will be based on green hydrogen. In this regard, one of the key research subjects is the elaboration of new materials for safe and effective hydrogen storage and transportation. In this work, we propose a hybrid hydrogen storage material based on boron nanosheets with surface-immobilized IRMOF-20. Surface immobilization was carried out in two-step procedure using covalent modification of the nanosheets surface and subsequent surface-assisted growth of IRMOF-20 from its mother liquor. Both materials (i. e. boron and IRMOF-20) have previously been reported as effective media for the hydrogen chemical sorption. However, along with a number of advantages, they have specific drawback such as low capacity or insufficient stability at higher pressure. Our main idea was to compensate the drawbacks by materials combination and enhance their effectivity in hydrogen storage. Developed materials combination exhibits high hydrogen gravimetric sorption capacity (significantly superior to boron flakes and even surpassed IRMOF-20 powder), high material stability (even at relatively high pressures) and high selectivity to hydrogen, in comparison with others, “parasitic” gases.

ПОСТУЛАТЫ ШКОЛЫ КРИТИЧЕСКИХ ПРАВОВЫХ ИССЛЕДОВАНИЙ (НА ПРИМЕРЕ СОЦИАЛЬНО-ПРАВОВОЙ ТЕОРИИ Р.М. УНГЕРА)

The purpose of the work was to identify and formulate the main provisions, the initial views of supporters of the School of Critical Legal Studies, which have developed in the United States since the 1970s of the twentieth century, through an analysis of the views of one of the activists of the movement of critical legal studies, the Brazilian statesman and jurist Roberto Mangabeira Unger. The objectives of the work include studying the conditions for the emergence and origins of critical legal research, analyzing the methodological basis, studying the works and statements of R. Unger, formulating the postulates of the school of critical legal research and the foundations of R. Unger’s political and legal theory. To achieve the set goal and solve problems, the author uses such general scientific and specific scientific methods as analysis, synthesis, historical, system-structural, comparative methods. In addition, the author's interpretation of R. Unger's views is presented based on the translation of his Englishlanguage works.Results: objective and subjective factors in the formation of the School of Critical Legal Studies have been identified, the connection between the ideas of the school’s supporters and the moderate direction of American sociological jurisprudence and the realistic school of law has been identified, the main postulates of the supporters of critical legal studies have been formulated based on the provisions of the political and legal views of R. Unger. Conclusions: The school of critical legal studies arose on the basis of an understanding of law primarily as a social institution designed to ensure a balance of individual, social and state interests. Like legal realists, representatives of the school tried to demythologize legal phenomena by analyzing the legal life of society. In addition, Unger, appealing to O. Holmes’s views on law as a product of experience, saw the further development of human society through the introduction of new technologies and experiments based on social solidarity and cooperation, when the state and law act as guardians of society and do not limit it progressive development.

Investigation on the Application of Computer System Reliability and Data Security in GPN Networks

With the progress of science and the development of human society, the demand for complex software and hardware systems has sharply increased. Its development speed far exceeds the ability to design, implement, test, and maintain software and hardware. This article mainly studied the computer system reliability and data security of GPN networks. The automatic testing module of the program called the program to be tested into the simulator, started these test cases, and automatically simulated the situations in the test cases for testing. The test results were automatically saved to the reliability test case result document, and the database was encrypted using a GPN network. In password processing, a random key was generated and encrypted with a public key associated with a specific user identification code. Finally, the key was attached to the specified database. During the testing process, the average clock period of multiple experiments was used. The CPU (Central Processing Unit) time estimated the number of clock cycles required by the processor to execute tasks without considering factors such as pipeline. After introducing the GPN network in this article, the system throughput was 175 mpbs. Therefore, GPN networks had a certain positive impact on the reliability of computer systems and data security.

Legal Arrangements of Artificial Intelligence in the European Union and the Republic of North Macedonia

The article aims to analyze the need to regulate AI, the content of the regulation that needs to be enacted, the content of the regulation adopted in the European Union as well as North Macedonia's positioning on this issue as a country eager to start the negotiations for accession in the EU. The methodology for the article is about the legal arrangements of AI that involve a multi-faceted approach, combining literature review, legal analysis, doctrinal research, empirical research, policy analysis, ethical and normative analysis, and interdisciplinary collaboration. While the rapid development of AI brings convenience to people’s lives, it also poses challenges to global changes and the development of human society, social governance, and legal regulation. Many countries have adopted strategic plans and documents related to AI but there are no legal acts adopted until now. The article's discussion on the need for new or updated regulatory frameworks to govern AI is crucial. It may propose specific regulatory measures to address AI's unique challenges, such as transparency, accountability, and fairness, influencing related policy development.
