The electrochemical behavior of nickel in tungstate melts and the effect of electrolysis conditions on the composition and structure of nickel–molybdenum (tungsten) alloys in tungstate–molybdate melts are studied. It is shown that with an increase in the molybdenum (tungsten) concentrations and a decrease in the nickel concentration in the melt, the phase composition of cathodic deposits changes from nickel through nickel–molybdenum (tungsten) alloys of different composition to pure molybdenum (tungsten).
