Pandemic Learning Loss Recovery Strategy in the New Normal Period

The Education Emergency during the COVID-19 period has had a major impact on the decline in the quality of education in Indonesia. This study aims to uncover: 1) how is learning during Covid-19? 2) What are the aspects of learning loss? and 3) how is learning loss recovery in post-COVID-19 learning? This research data was obtained from teachers and students in six Central Java, East Java, and Lampung schools. The data was collected through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation techniques. The data analysis of this study includes three stages. Namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions, as formulated by Miles and Huberman. Based on the data analysis that has been carried out, it shows that there has been a learning loss in learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is characterized by a decrease in student motivation, participation, and learning outcomes. There are several strategies that teachers can do to recover from pandemic learning loss in the new normal era, including 1) using various strategies, media, and learning resources, 2) doing remedial/enrichment, 3) requiring students to actively ask questions, 4) involving the role of parents.

Peran Guru dalam Mengimplementasikan Kurikulum 2013 di Sekolah

The 2013 curriculum is a pedagogical framework that aims to improve the quality of education in Indonesia by emphasizing the development of students' character, skills and knowledge. The role of teachers in implementing the 2013 Curriculum in schools is crucial in ensuring the success of providing education in accordance with the objectives of the curriculum. This study aims to investigate the role of teachers in the process of implementing the 2013 Curriculum in schools. Qualitative research methods were used by conducting in-depth interviews with a number of teachers in various schools. The results of the analysis show that the teacher's role in implementing the 2013 Curriculum involves several main aspects. However, there are challenges faced by teachers in implementing the 2013 Curriculum, such as limited resources, uneven understanding of the new curriculum, and paradigm changes in learning approaches. Further efforts are needed to support teachers in carrying out their role effectively in implementing the 2013 Curriculum, including more intensive training, strong leadership support at the school level, as well as increasing available resources.

Training on Improving the Implementation of Teaching Factory Learning at SMK Negeri Pagaralam

The «Free Schools» program was launched by the Indonesian government in 2020 to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. This program provides flexibility for schools in designing a curriculum tailored to student needs and potential. The objectives of this community service activity include realizing the vision and mission of the FKIP UPGRI Palembang Accounting Education Study Program, implementing the work program of the FKIP UPGRI Palembang Accounting Education Study Program, as well as providing knowledge and skills in education and financial management for students, teachers, education staff, and the like to face current developments. Learning can be an active process in which individuals construct their own knowledge through thought, experience, and interaction.

Learning From the Advanced Education System in Finland

The background of writing this article is to see the problem of education in Indonesia that has not been able to fully produce quality human beings, this is due to the quality of education in Indonesia that has not been maximized. For this reason, it is necessary to improve the quality of education in Indonesia by improving the responsive education system to answer the changes and demands of the times, therefore we need to learn from one of the countries that has the best education system in the world, namely Finland. The advancement of the education system in Finland can certainly be used as an example of the implementation of education in Indonesia. The purpose of writing this article is to see the advanced education system in Finland. The method used in compiling this article is a literature study, A literature study is a variety of sources, ranging from books, articles, and various references related to the advancement of the education system in Finland. The results showed that the advanced education system in Finland can be seen from several aspects of the implementation of education in the country, including teachers, learning environment, evaluation, and school curriculum.

POLA IMPLEMENTASI MANAJEMEN SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA PENDIDIKAN DALAM UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS GURU

Indonesia's position is 67th out of 209 countries in the world for the quality of education. This is still the government's main focus on efforts to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, one of which is through improving the quality of educators (teachers). The aim to be achieved through this discussion regarding Educational HRM is to be able to examine general problems related to the quality of educators that occur in educational institutions as well as the solutions offered in an effort to improve the quality of education, including (1) To analyze the flow of human resource management in educational institutions starting from planning to termination of employment, (2) To determine the implementation pattern of educational human resource management in an effort to improve teacher quality. The research carried out was research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collected is in the form of observations, interviews and documentation analysis and then processed using data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction, presentation and verification so that conclusion data can be obtained regarding the phenomena that occur. Educational HRM carries out its operational functions which consist of planning, recruitment and selection, placement, work performance, training and development, compensation, and termination of employment. In an effort to improve teacher quality, it must be ensured that not only operational functions are carried out, but managerial functions must also be applied in each process which includes planning, organizing, implementing and controlling. This is done on an ongoing basis so that it can be ensured that HRM education is running as it should. Based on the pattern that has been described, it is hoped that it will be able to clarify the role of the two management functions in educational HRM

Implementasi Program Kerja Kampus Mengajar Dalam Media Pembelajaran Game Ular Tangga Guna Meningkatkan Keterlibatan Dan Pemahaman Numerasi Peserta Didik

The Teaching Campus Program is part of the MBKM program which provides opportunities for students to teach in schools and help improve students' literacy and numeracy. One of the implementations of this program is by using learning media in the form of snakes and ladders game. This game was conducted at SMPN 3 Terara to help improve students' understanding in literacy and numeracy. The game also trains learners' skills in cooperation, critical thinking, and refreshing their memory on previous materials. The Teaching Campus Program is a program that can improve the quality of education in Indonesia through learning media with snakes and ladders games. This program helps students solve problems in schools and is expected to continue helping schools in need. Many studies have been conducted to show the benefits of this program in improving students' literacy, numeracy, and technological adaptation. The purpose of implementing the Teaching Campus program is to empower students who collaborate with schools, through this teaching campus program, students have activities that are their responsibility in assisting learning activities, assisting technology adaptation, and assisting administration at the school where they are assigned during the teaching campus program.

Analysis of amendments to government regulation no 57 concerning national education number 04 of 2022

Education is one of the important sectors in the development of a country. Indonesian education is faced with various challenges, both internal and external challenges. Indonesian Government Regulation (PP) Number 57 of 2021 concerning National Education being changes policy Number 4 of 2022. This changes cause uncertainty legally and administratively in formal carry out educational activities. Several important changes have been noted in PP 57 of 2021 concerning National Education period 4 of 2022. These changes include curriculum adjustments, building an assessment system, increasing the quality of the number of teachers and teaching staff and changes in education management at the school National level. With the issue arise, there is need for analyze the changes made in PP 57 of 2021 and their impact on national education system. This research aim to investigates the impact of implementation new regulation policy Number 4 of 2022. The method used is literature study. The results show that there’s have been significant changes in PP 57 of 2021 which affect various positive aspects of national education system. Adjusting the curriculum, improving the quality of teachers, and developing evaluations are important steps in improving the quality of education in Indonesia.

ANALISIS MULTIVARIAT UNTUK PEMETAAN KARAKTERISTIK MUTU PENDIDIKAN SEKOLAH MENENGAH KEJURUAN (SMK) DI INDONESIA

Evaluation of the education quality in Indonesia, especially in Vocational High Schools (VHS), carried out through the Presidential Instruction 2016. The implementation of these instructions is not easy because of the different characteristics of each region both geographically and socio-culturally. This study aims to analyze related to the mapping of the characteristics of the quality of vocational education from 34 provinces in Indonesia. The methods used are correspondence analysis, biplot analysis, and cluster analysis which are multivariate statistical analysis methods. The correspondence analysis results show that there are differences in the characteristics of the quality of vocational education from each province based on school accreditation. The biplot analysis show that Teacher Quality is greatest diversity variable compared to other variables. In addition, the provinces of Aceh, East Nusa Tenggara, West Sulawesi and Central Kalimantan have a quality score below the average and are dominated by non-accredited VHSs based on the results of the analysis. The k-means cluster analysis with 4 optimal clusters gives the result that cluster 2 is the cluster with the best quality value while cluster 4 is the cluster with the lowest quality value. Three analytical concluded that provinces with very good quality scores such as DKI Jakarta, Bali and DI Yogyakarta can be used as pilot provinces for other provinces. Meanwhile, provinces with VHS quality scores below the provincial average as a whole should receive attention in order to further improve the quality of their VHSs

Urgensi Pelaksanaan Supervisi Akademik dalam Peningkatan Kompetensi Guru di Era Merdeka Belajar

Indonesia is ranked 74 out of 79 countries in terms of reading, science, and math skills. One of the factors for the low quality of education in Indonesia is the lack of teacher competence in preparing learning media and methods. In this 21st era, Indonesia has implemented an independent learning policy that frees teachers and students from choosing learning methods. One of the efforts that can be made to improve teacher competence is the implementation of academic supervision. The purpose of this study was to determine the importance of implementing academic supervision and the role of school principals in implementing academic supervision. The research was conducted using a meta-analysis that collected data and information from several studies. The findings of this study found that academic supervision activities are an effective tool for solving teacher problems and as a means of improving teacher competence. The role of the principal is very crucial as a supervisor in implementing academic supervision. The implementation of academic supervision goes through the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation or follow-up.

Implementasi Dasar-dasar Teologi, Filosofi, Psikologi dan Sosiologi untuk Mewujudkan Kualitas Pendidikan di Indonesia

The quality of education in Indonesia is relatively low, when compared to other countries in the world, namely the quality of education in Indonesia is ranked number 72 out of 79 countries in the world. As a result, Indonesia has not been able to face global competition. Based on this idea, the purpose of this research is to find out how the implementation of the theology, philosophy, psychology and sociology foundations is used to realize the quality of education in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with data collection techniques through literature review such as: government policy regulations, legislation, books, journals, or relevant literature. Data analysis used a thematic approach, namely analyzing data based on research themes. The results of the research show that education is a process of activity for the development of all potentials in order to improve human life. Educational activities are based on a legal basis (1945 Constitution, Pancasila, Law No. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System). Educational activities are carried out with reference to the national curriculum. In addition, education also pays attention to the 8 national education standards. The implementation of education must involve 4 main foundations, namely theology, philosophy, psychology and sociology in order to realize the quality of education in Indonesia.

IMPLEMENTATION OF INCLUSIVE EDUCATION FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

The problem in this research is that education for children with special needs and inclusive education in Indonesia has so far received little attention and cannot be handled optimally. So this study aims to find out about the quality of education in Indonesia, the development of children with special needs who have differences from normal children in general, both in terms of physical, mental, intellectual and social, and in inclusive education. The method used in this research is library research, using books and other sources. The results of the study explain that as citizens, children with special needs (ABK) and inclusive education have the same rights and obligations as citizens and have the same treatment, including in obtaining education.

Implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile in the Merdeka Mandiri Curriculum Changes in Biology Learning

The aim is to analyze the strengthening of the Pancasila student profile in the learning process, viewed from the teaching module with 5 aspects, namely: a) The arrangement of learning objectives according to the achievement of Phase E learning and including prerequisite knowledge; b) Understanding of Biology according to Phase E; c) Project-based or case study learning; d) Literacy and numeracy; e) The Pancasila student profile in the independent curriculum seen from assessment. The implementation of strengthening the Pancasila student profile in biology learning shows that there are still deficiencies in 3 schools, especially in the arrangement of learning objectives, which are not appropriate because the competencies in the learning achievement are not stated and the strengthening of the Pancasila student profile is not included. Issues in project-based learning plans and issues in the module are not contextual and the measurement of biology understanding is in line with the Learning Outcomes, but the presentation of questions is not in accordance with the revised Bloom's taxonomy. The implementation of strengthening the Pancasila student profile in the learning process is crucial in efforts to improve the quality of education in Indonesia in accordance with the needs of the times

Implementation of the Assure Model Using Google Site Media in Learning Procedure Texts

Education in Indonesia is of low quality. Learning media is one component that can be used as an effort to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. Teachers as learning facilitators have a role in determining appropriate learning media for student characteristics so that learning outcomes and student interest in learning increase. The lack of varied learning makes students more lazy in studying, especially studying Indonesian. Based on the results of observations at SMP Negeri 21 Semarang, the problem was found that the boredom experienced by students in learning was due to the learning media presented by the teacher needing to be more varied and innovative. Based on the problems found, the research intended to determine the implementation of the ASSURE learning model using Google Site media in learning procedure texts. The research was conducted in class VII A of SMP Negeri 21 Semarang. The number of research subjects was 33 students, 15 men and 18 women. The research was carried out in November in semester 1 of the 2022/2023 academic year. Data collection was carried out by observation or observation and interviews. Data analysis was carried out using three steps: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the implementation of the ASSURE model using Google Site media in learning procedural texts went well. Through the use of learning media that is different from usual, students are interested in learning so that learning activities do not feel boring and the learning outcomes are also in accordance with the learning objectives.

Pendampingan Pelaksanaan Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) dengan Tema Kearifan Lokal

The Pancasila Student Profile is one of the efforts that is expected to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, one of which is by developing the character of students. Character development is very necessary for students to build highly intellectual people. The media used to develop student character is the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project. This service aims to provide insight and description of the implementation of the Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile (P5) Project with the theme of local wisdom in junior high schools to realize the implementation of the independent curriculum. This service activity method is carried out through observation and mentoring. The results of the activity show that students' knowledge about the local wisdom of traditional games in the surrounding area has increased and the moral character of students in junior high school can also be developed.

Education is a moral action that aims to increase individual potential and the progress of society. Education has always been an issue that involves all parties, and Indonesia prioritizes its implementation. However, the quality of education in Indonesia is worrying, with various complex problems, including curriculum problems, educational inequality, teacher placement, and low teacher quality. Apart from that, there are challenges in learning methods, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, and high education costs. In this context, the role of lecturers as drivers of education is key in improving the quality of education. Lecturers have a role in motivating students, providing guidance, and directing learning, especially in the Independent Campus era which frees students to study outside the classroom. Lecturers also play a role in generating student motivation, which is an important factor in learning achievement.

Strategies of Islamic Schools in Preparing for Accreditation A (Case Study of Muhammadiyah 05 Elementary School in Semarang)

Regulation of the Minister of National Education No. 63/2009 highlights the policy of improving the quality of education through the accreditation process in schools. BAN-S/M accreditation data in 2018 indicated that out of 51,979 Schools/Madrasahs accredited A as much as 20.51% and accredited B as much as 55.31%, showing the dominance of B accreditation and indicating that the achievement of education quality in Indonesia is still not optimal. This study aims to describe the strategies of Islamic Schools, particularly SD Muhammadiyah 05, in preparing for A Accreditation. Qualitative research using a case study approach involved observation, interviews, and documentation. Data triangulation with data analysis techniques, such as data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, were used to ensure data validity. The research object involved the environment of SD Muhammadiyah 05 with respondents from various parties, including the principal, staff, teachers, and students. The results showed that the strategies implemented by the school have progressed, as evidenced by the achievement of a score of 91 or A Accreditation. The strategies such as conducting socialization to stakeholders, analyzing the requirements of A accreditation, forming an accreditation team, school self-evaluation (EDS), training and development of human resources, improving facilities and infrastructure and commitment to improvement are continuously pursued to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and improve the overall quality of education.

Effects Of Use Generating Interaction Method Between Schemata And Text (Gist) On Reading Comprehension, And Learning Motivationself-Efficacy Class III Students At SD Negeri Serang 03

Low reading comprehension can have a negative impact on students' motivation and self-efficacy. Students with low reading comprehension skills often have difficulty understanding the material presented, so they may feel unable to understand the material. This study aims to examine the effect of using the approachGenerating Interaction Between Schemata and Text (GIST) on reading comprehension, learning motivation, and self-efficacy of third grade students at SD Negeri Serang 03. The research methodology used in this study was the use of quantitative methods during data collection and analysis. Data collection was carried out using a quasi-experimental design withpretest-posttest control group design. The use of this method can help students better understand reading, increase self-confidence in learning, and increase learning motivation. This positive and constructive feedback can help students feel more confident about their ability to learn and achieve their learning goals. Overall, this research makes an important contribution to the development of teaching methods that effectively improve students' reading comprehension, learning motivation, and self-efficacy. In addition, this research also provides information and advice for teachers and policy makers to choose appropriate learning methods to improve the quality of education in Indonesia.

Optimizing Educational Laboratories for Institutional Development in Indonesia.

The use of educational laboratories in the higher education learning process plays a crucial role in facilitating practical understanding of complex concepts. Factors such as equipment availability, faculty lecturers' expertise, and technology have influenced the effectiveness of educational laboratories. For educational institutions to improve their laboratory effectiveness, it's crucial to have well-coordinated planning in alignment with the curriculum. This study aims to develop the concept of optimizing educational laboratories at the Faculty of Education Sciences, State University of Surabaya, Indonesia. This study used descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis and analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The research results show that the facilities and infrastructure of the laboratories at the Faculty of Education, State University of Surabaya, are adequate, with quality supervision and maintenance. The development of laboratory products, including usage guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOP), and training instrument packages, has provided practical guidance and enhanced students' learning experiences. All of these products play a crucial role in improving the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of educational laboratory utilization. Thus, the development of educational laboratories at the Faculty of Education Sciences, State University of Surabaya, Indonesia, has positively contributed to the enhancement of higher education quality in Indonesia and has prepared students to face real-world challenges.

This article analyses the efforts made to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, with a special emphasis on the important role of education pillars in the formation of a superior generation. Education in Indonesia faces many problems, such as inequality, limited access and variations in education quality. This article aims to explain the role of the key pillars of education, namely curriculum, teaching staff, infrastructure and community engagement. The curriculum is considered the foundation that shapes the way students think and have skills. The article discusses the importance of curriculum review to ensure relevance to local and global requirements and to utilise technology as an enabler for effective learning. The second pillar discusses the role of teachers as an important factor in disseminating knowledge and values to students. Considered important strategies to produce high-quality educators are qualification upgrading, continuous training and pedagogical skills development. Talking about education infrastructure means providing adequate physical and technological facilities. Talking about the sustainability and accessibility of infrastructure and the use of technology to support distance learning. The fourth pillar emphasises that community participation is crucial to building an enabling educational environment. In this article, we will discuss the roles played by parents, local communities and the private sector in supporting and complementing government efforts to improve the quality of education. This article provides a complete overview of how these pillars of education can shape a superior generation in Indonesia by detailing their benefits. It is hoped that the implementation of integrated strategic actions in each pillar will be a strong foundation for achieving the long-term goal of improving the quality of education in Indonesia.

School Principal Leadership and Implementation of Independent Curriculum in Improving the Quality of Education in Indonesia

Leadership is a force that moves struggles or activities towards success. Leadership means the process of influencing group activities in the context of formulating and achieving organizational goals. Therefore, a leader must optimize management and create an organization always conducive and the quality of education increases. There are two things that characterize leaders in carrying out their duties, namely "openness and willingness to serve”. Therefore, there is a need to study the leadership of school principals and the implementation of an independent curriculum in improving the quality of education. This research is descriptive qualitative research. Observation, interviews and documentation were used as data collection techniques. The research subjects were school principals, teachers and students. Based on the research results, it shows: 1) The school principal as the leader of the organization has carried out his duties well in accordance with procedures and regulations. 2) The implementation of the independent curriculum has been running effectively, efficiently and productively. The advantages of the independent learning curriculum are: 1) making the world of education more flexible, which means removing the shackles of the world of education so that it is easier to move, 2) giving students the opportunity to deepen the lessons they take according to their needs, 3) providing a platform for students exploring general knowledge by going into society, 4) students can prepare themselves to face the world of work. An educational institution is said to be of quality if it has the following characteristics: 1) Students demonstrate a high level of mastery of learning tasks (learning tasks) as formulated in educational goals and objectives, including academic learning outcomes expressed in learning achievement. 2) The results of student education are in accordance with the demands of students' needs in their lives, so that apart from knowing something, they are also able to do something functionally for life. 3) Student educational outcomes are in accordance with environmental needs, especially the world of work. Therefore, relevance is an indicator of quality. Thus, good quality benchmarks are not absolute quality benchmarks, but relative benchmarks, namely those that suit customer needs. School quality will be good if the school can provide services that suit the needs of its customers.
