Due to the fact that Buryatia is a sunny region with high activity of UV rays, this pathology can occur quite often. Purpose. To evaluate the effectiveness of nutraceuticals and a complex of water-soluble polypeptide fractions with a molecular weight of no more than 10,000 Da (retinalamine) in the process of restoring photoreceptors and pigment epithelial cells. Material and methods. Observation and examination of one patient with a case of solar retinopathy using Retinalamine and nutraceuticals in the treatment. The patient underwent optical coherence tomography in Retina Map, Cross line, Radial line modes. Results. Against the background of treatment, after 12 days, visual acuity did not change, and according to OCT data, positive dynamics was noted: the infiltrate resolved, but slight deformation of the NPM and the line of photoreceptors remained. After a month, an increase in visual acuity with the preservation of distortion in the center, according to OCT data, the final defect (loss) of the photoreceptor line is determined. Against the background of the treatment, three months after the onset of the disease, we see the restoration of visual acuity to 1.0 and pigment epithelium, but a local defect of the photoreceptor line persists. Conclusions. Thus, against the background of treatment, a significant increase in visual acuity and elimination of the destruction of the pigment epithelium was established.
