Summary In accord with the observation of Brent and associates (3) it has been demonstrated that, following the rejection of skin homografts, guinea pigs give delayed type skin reactions to “homograft antigen” extracted from the spleens of respective donors. The present investigations have also shown that such animals respond to the intracorneal injection of homograft antigen from their respective donors with typical delayed type hypersensitivity reactions.
