The paper presents the analysis of the steps and stages of designing process equipment for traditional manufacturing. The features of building process equipment using energy flows and consumables are studied. Structural synthesis of mechatronic systems in digitalized manufacturing make it possible to add new stages to the process of creating process equipment for both traditional automated subtractive and new additive manufacturing. The processes of manufacturing parts without forming equipment described by the algorithms according to the proposed structural diagram of connections provide an opportunity to analyze the existing equipment and develop new equipment for laminate synthesis of products. The paper illustrates the use of methods and procedures for laminate synthesis and fabrication of parts from composite materials using process equipment based on the application of energy flows and material components for new additive and traditional subtractive manufacturing. Also, methods and diagrams for automation and computer-aided process control over product manufacturing are shown.

Development and implementation of artificial neural network in cooling system of cast rolls on 1950 LPK mill in order to increase stability of working rolls and improve quality of products

Automation and production management play an important role in ensuring product quality. Metallurgical production includes many types of technological equipment, which has its own technical feature and specificity. In recent years, there has been a breakthrough in the development and use of artificial neural networks in electronics. With their help, it is possible to fully automate production from the beginning to the very sale of products, to improve the quality of products, since such a system is capable of self-learning using the obtained databases in production and simulating the production process in software outside the process itself, improving production based on input and output parameters, partially without human participation, and to work autonomously in the further development of control technology and self-learning. A model of modernization of the existing CAPCS (Computer-Aided Process Control System) of the 1950 mill of LPK JSC in the Town of Vyksa is proposed in order to create the most favorable cooling mode for each standard size of the rolled strip.

The controlled biosynthesis of cellobiase by Aspergillus fungi

Some mechanisms of cellobiase formation were studied in Aspergillus japonicus 2092 and A. heteromorphus 3010. Formation of cellobiase in both strains was found to be a non-inducible constitutive character. The delay in formation of cellobiase in batch culture with glucose was shown to be determined by catabolic repression. Aspergillus heteromorphus 3010 was more sensitive to catabolic repression than A. japonicus 2092. To remove the effect of glucose repression two modes of fed-batch processes were developed: moderate and intensive. Both modes used the double algorithm of glucose supply based on computer-aided process control. For A. heteromorphus 3010 the moderate fed-batch was optimal, while for A. japonicus 2092 intensive fed-batch was more efficient. These regimes resulted in a three-fold increase in cellobiase in comparison with batch culture and allowed the combination of growth and biosynthesis of the enzyme in one phase.

Computer-aided process control system design using interactive graphics

Design programs employing interactive computer graphics can simplify and greatly facilitate the synthesis of feedback controllers for dynamic systems. In this paper a program for design of three mode controllers for single input-single output linear system is described. Seven displays can be employed for analyzing either time domain or frequency domain characteristics, as illustrated in the paper.
