Piano education, as an art course, occupies an important position in the art majors of comprehensive universities. With the continuous deepening of educational reform, the concept, methods, and content of piano education in comprehensive universities also need to be updated and upgraded, committed to effectively improving students’ music literacy while mastering piano knowledge and skills. The application of experiential teaching methods in piano teaching in comprehensive universities highlights the student-centered position, focuses on enhancing students’ learning experience, and promotes the high-level development of students’ comprehensive abilities. This article explores the application of experiential teaching methods in piano teaching in comprehensive universities, proposes a rational practical path, and hopes to provide a reference for relevant educators.
