Urban spatial analysis and virtual model network of the cultural buildings located at the cultural route in Skopje, N. Macedonia

Urban spatial and program organization of virtual network model of the cultural buildings is one of the crucial network developments at the Cultural Route in Skopje, North Macedonia. The methodology of this scientific paper includes urban spatial diagram analysis of the virtual network modeling of the cultural buildings in Skopje: analysis and testing of the developed virtual spatial models in the context of architectural-design and urban-planning interventions, stimulating the processes for their complete inventory, systematization, valorization, integration and adaptation in the virtually created urban environment. The method of typological and morphological analysis where the reasons for the morphology and the emergence of cultural development are considered in the context of the relationship with cultural development as development of semantic factors. The modeling method (virtual) which is presented as an analogy and virtual simulation of the current and future conditions of cultural institutions in Skopje. Virtual realistic representation and simulation of the current situation is analyzed in this scientific paper. The situation is critically reviewed and measures are proposed that architects and designers can implement in the virtual modeling of the future state of museums and cultural institutions. The expected outcome results of this scientific paper is to explore and define the application of virtual modeling in the planning of current and future development of the virtual museum network, in the development of the city Skopje. The research includes: defining the existing and future programming factors that influence the development of the cultural institutions, defining factors in the process of virtual modeling of the spatial organization, location and relational connection of the objects in the field of culture in the network; defining the influence factors of the development of the facilities in the field of culture on the virtually created development of the city of Skopje.

BIDS: Blockchain and Intrusion Detection System Coalition for Securing Internet of Medical Things Networks.

The benefits of the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) in providing seamless healthcare to the world are at the forefront of technological advancement. However, security concerns of any IoMT systems are high since they threaten to compromise personal information of patients and can even cause health hazards. Researchers are exploring the use of various techniques to ensure a high level of security of IoMT systems. One key concern is that the computing power of any Internet of Things (IoT) device is relatively low, hence mechanisms that require low computational power are appropriate for designing Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS). In this research work, a blockchain IDS coalition is proposed for securing IoMT networks and devices. The blockchain ledger is compact and uses less processing resources. Additionally, the ledger requires less communication overhead. The cryptographic hashes in the suggested architecture ensure complete data secrecy and integrity between parties who are trusted and those who are untrustworthy. Peer-to-peer networks in both central and cluster networks are also included in this work for complete decentralization. The proposed model can counter various attacks, including Denial of Service (DoS), anonymity attacks, impersonation attacks, Man-In-The-Middle (MITM), and Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). The proposed method achieved an F1- score as high as 100% and reported an AUC value of over 99%.

Karate na Kosovu i Metohiji: od međuetničke integracije do deintegracije

The area of Kosovo and Metohija has a rich martial tradition in which folk wrestling stands out. When karate came to Serbia in 1963, in just a few years it had already left its mark in the southern Serbian province. The first club was opened in 1969, and soon numerous clubs appeared throughout the province where thousands of karate fighters trained. It is emphasized that all the clubs were multi-ethnic, where Serbs and Albanians practiced equally. The key sensei for the whole of Yugoslavia were Dr. Vladimir and Ilija Jorga, who did their part in the complete integration of the Albanian masters. Albanians were also part of a committee during examinations for higher black belt degrees even in central Serbia. In addition, prominent Albanian karateka were also lecturers at seminars along with with great Japanese masters. The wars of 1998-1999 had its consequences and multi-ethnic karate of Kosovo and Metohija disintegrated. From prominent practitioners of karate, on the Albanian side, Nazmi Iberdemaj stands out as the most prominent expert in this skill. However, there is also karate master Isak Musliu, a member of the KLA who was accused in The Hague of abusing his victims in the Lapusnik camp with karate techniques. From the Serbian side, the most prominent is Oliver Ivanovic. He built his career in karate as a judge of the highest rank. In politics, he advocated inter-ethnic dialogue, but he was killed in 2018 under unclear circumstances.

Is Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction “Silva Technique” Equal to All‐Inside Techniques? A Prospective Single‐Center Study

Background: The development of less invasive all‐inside techniques regarding anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction surgery has been associated with various advantages, including fewer complications and reduced postoperative pain. Silva et al. described a quadruple semitendinosus graft construct and suspensory button fixation for ACL reconstruction as an alternative technique. At the end of this technique, the tibial tunnel is filled with a bone autograft plug. This paper aims to examine the incorporation of the autograft and thus evaluate whether the “Silva technique” provides the same benefits as all‐inside techniques.Methods: A prospective study assessed 31 patients undergoing ACL reconstruction surgery using the “Silva technique.” The cases involved in the study were skeletally mature patients with no previous history of ACL surgery or multiligamentous instability. All patients followed the same rehabilitation program and were examined at three standardized follow‐up visits: 4 months, 8 months, and 1 year postoperatively. Tegner–Lysholm knee score (TLKS), visual analog score (VAS) for pain, and the IKDC subjective knee score were completed at every visit. A knee MRI scan was performed at every scheduled visit to assess bone graft incorporation and remodeling.Results: TLKS scores revealed a considerable improvement compared to preoperative figures, from 57.2 points preoperatively to an average of 99.4 at the 12‐month follow‐up (p < 0.0001). VAS scores were substantially ameliorated after the operation and until the second follow‐up visit, from 5 before surgery to zero 8 months after the operation, with no noteworthy alterations afterward (p < 0.0001). IKDC subjective knee score outcomes were found to have increased at the last follow‐up, from 59.3 prior to surgery to 99.8 12 months postoperatively (p < 0.0001). Regarding the MRI features of the bone autograft, the tibial tunnel was entirely filled by bone formation at the last MRI scan, suggesting complete integration of the autograft in all patients.Conclusions: Bone autograft employed to seal the tibial tunnel was completely incorporated in all cases 1 year postoperatively. The “Silva technique” appears to feature all the avails of all‐inside techniques, whilst it seems to be simpler and easier than them after the surgeon is familiarized with its particular aspects. It is a robust option in orthopedic surgeons’ arsenal. However, further large‐scale pertinent research is requisite to confirm the findings of this study.

Ratni zločini bugarskih okupacionih trupa u Poljanici 1942‒1943. godine

After the April collapse of the army of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia in 1941, Bulgarian troops established control over certain parts of the territory of southern Serbia. In the occupied territory of Yugoslavia, Bulgaria established an occupation administration and established a repressive administrative system, the ultimate goal of which was the Bulgarianization of public life and the Serbian population, and the complete integration of the occupied territories into the state-legal order of Bulgaria. Guided by the stated objectives, from April 1941 to September 1944, the Bulgarian occupation troops committed a large number of war crimes against the Serbian population. The subject of our research is the crimes of the occupation forces in the Poljanica region during 1943. Using unpublished sources from the Bulgarian province, the paper provides hitherto unknown information about the suffering of Poljanica in the Second World War.

Object Incorporation in Latin: Towards Macro- and Micro-Typology of Incorporation

In this paper, the Latin language is analyzed in the context of typology of object incorporation. The authors draw on the research of Mithun, who considers incorporation on the basis of two obligatory conditions: first, the noun must be embedded in the verb, and second, the language must have parallel syntactic paraphrases with non-incorporated noun. The second criterion is so important that the phenomenon of incorporation is acknowledged to exist even in those languages where there is no complete integration of the noun into the verb, but only a certain syntactic compactness, provided there are parallel constructions. The latter type has been coined “noun stripping” and has launched the division of incorporation into two types, viz. “strong” and “weak” incorporation. Another important point of divergence between the incorporating languages is the change of the argument structure of the source verb, namely, the preservation or loss of transitivity of the incorporated complex. Taking all these parameters into account, the authors propose a new typology of object incorporation, including languages that have not previously been considered in the context of this phenomenon. This typology is not based on a strict opposition of incorporating and non-incorporating languages, but represents a kind of continuum in which the place of a language depends on whether it demonstrates: 1) full incorporation or only a close syntactic Noun–Verb compactness; 2) the presence of parallel syntactic paraphrases; 3) the detransitivisation of the resulting compound verb. The authors examine each criterion in detail as applied to Latin and show the place of Latin in this typology.

Exploring the Dynamical System Modeling and Evolutionary Mechanisms for the Integration of AI and Civic Education Management in Colleges and Universities

Abstract With the help of the dynamics model of the integration of AI and the management of college civic education, this paper investigates the integration of artificial intelligence and civic education in three directions: application specification, application design, and application practice. Using differential equations to represent the non-linear dynamics equations of the system and by means of differential solutions, the evolution mechanism of AI education application and integration is projected in this paper. The integration of AI and college civic education is explored through empirical analysis and comparative analysis. The results show that the average value of the comprehensive score of the three directions in the sample colleges and universities is 77.5828, which is in the bare integration stage, and the integration degree in the “formulation” path is the best, which is 85.698, and is in the complete integration stage. The students in the experimental class of the sample universities scored better than the control class without AI integration in civic education. There were no students with scores below 60, and there were 32 more students than the control class in the 90–100 segment.

Teaching Reform Program of Integrated Practice Course for Automotive Majors Based on ADDIE Model

Abstract The ADDIE model is highly compatible with teaching in terms of educational purposes, concepts, and processes and has a positive contribution to teaching. In this study, the ADDIE model is used to teach a comprehensive practice course for automobile majors in order to promote the systematic design and implementation of teaching. In this paper, the main problems to be solved are firstly extracted through the elemental analysis of the comprehensive practice course system of automobile majors, and the expected level of learning objectives to be achieved is pre-set. Then, a complete integration of educational media resources is carried out to test the effectiveness of the developed course instructional design. The fuzzy evaluation model is utilized to assess the quality of the course constructed by the ADDIE model. Specifically, the hierarchical analysis method is applied to calculate the index weights, and then the entropy weight method is used to correct the obtained index weights to obtain the final weights, determine the fuzzy operator, and make a comprehensive assessment of the teaching quality. It can be seen through the analysis that the method proposed in this paper makes the average final grade of the experimental class higher than that of the control class by 3.4524 points, and the final rating of teaching quality obtained by the method of this paper using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model is 3.7968 points, which is a good level. This indicates that the upgraded method of teaching practical courses is more effective than the original method, enhances the overall performance of students, and fulfills the requirements for teaching practice in automotive specialties.

Clientelism in Georgia (Review of the three previous elections)

This paper aims to examine clientelism in Georgian politics. It is one of the most severe cases of corruption since it substantially assists in establishing an anti-democratic regime in the state. Clientelism has been seen as a corollary of democracy, especially in the early phases of democratization. After 30 years of attempting to bring Georgia closer to European principles and complete integration with the West, Georgian politics has been dominated by informal ties that cause significant damage to state institutions. This study investigates politically motivated corruption-related activities using various sources and documentary materials. Additional factors that influence the creation of clientelism are also taken into account.

Эволюционное развитие технологической основы логистической системы

The evolutionary development of the technological basis of the logistics system is investigated. The analysis of the term “logistics system” is carried out from both general scientific and applied points of view. It is concluded that the management of the logistics system is aimed at optimizing the functioning of the entire set of its elements, i.e. the management of the logistics system is based on a systematic approach. Classifications of logistics systems are considered for various reasons: hierarchy level / scope scale; type of logistics chains used; type of structure; sequence of resource transfer. A new classification feature of logistics systems is proposed – a type of technological basis that reveals the impact of digital transformation on the development of logistics systems. The continuity between the technological foundations of the logistics system, which consists in the progressive development of technologies, is noted: some of the technologies that are already outdated, lose their importance and are not used, and they are replaced by new digital solutions. In the modern economy, logistics systems at different levels of the hierarchy are being transformed, hybrid logistics systems are actively being formed, combining the use of mechanized, automated and digital technologies, which contributes to a more complete integration of business processes within the logistics system.

A methodological approach towards the bio-inspired design of novel scaffolds for tissue engineering

The design of scaffolds for multi-tissue regeneration is very complex in terms of material and structure, as a direct consequence of hierarchical and organizational features. TRIZ represents the Russian acronym for the “Theory of Inventive Problem Solving” (TIPS). TRIZ is able to identify and codify such principles, using them to make the creative process more predictable. It is a methodology for the identification of the system conflicts and contradictions in order to solve the inventive problems. Its multidisciplinary features and the general approach to product design can make TRIZ as an intriguing starting point for the biomimetic approach in a systematic and organized way. Biomimetics aims at a complete integration between nature and technology. In this scenario, BioTRIZ shares the contradiction resolution method of the Altshuller’s theory, representing a systematic biomimetic approach towards the product design. In the current study, BioTRIZ was considered to systematize the process of bio-inspired design of 3D optimized scaffolds for the regeneration of complex tissue defects. A device for the regeneration of osteochondral tissue defects was considered as a case study. The technical solutions involved the design of a two-compartment, hybrid and functionally graded scaffold.

Increasing Battery Safety of Lithium-Ion Batteries by Using Cell-Internal Glass Fiber Sensors for in-Situ Temperature Monitoring

Lithium-ion batteries (LIB), featuring high energy density and power density, are used in a wide range of applications. One of the most important requirements for their application is to ensure their safety and continuous performance under different operating conditions. In order to ensure the afore mentioned factors, in-situ monitoring of internal cell parameters, such as temperature, state-of-charge, and state-of-health of LIB is essential. The cell temperature is a critical factor for both the safety and the LIB’s health. Not only the average temperature, but also the temperature distribution within the cell must be considered. However, common battery management systems mostly rely on monitoring the surface temperature of the cells, while neglecting changes of the internal parameters. This is where the integration of optical glass fiber sensors into battery cells, which allow direct monitoring of internal temperature changes during operation, makes a significant contribution.In this work, different approaches for the integration of optical glass fiber sensors into battery cells have been evaluated. The focus was set on the complete integration of the glass fiber at specific positions within the LIB, while ensuring that both, the glass fiber, and the battery components remain intact. Furthermore, the influence of the integrated glass fibers on the performance of the LIB was investigated. Finally, their functionality as temperature sensors was evaluated.In a second step, temperature measurements were performed on LIB during operation, using both internal and external sensors. The results obtained clearly reveal an early detection of temperature changes by internal glass fibers compared to external sensors. This not only confirms the efficiency of the internal sensors, but also leads the path to improved battery safety by early detection of critical temperatures within the cell.

Multiple HPV integration mode in the cell lines based on long-reads sequencing.

The integration of human papillomavirus (HPV) is closely related to the occurrence of cervical cancer. However, little is known about the complete state of HPV integration into the host genome. In this study, three HPV-positive cell lines, HeLa, SiHa, and CaSki, were subjected to NANOPORE long-read sequencing to detect HPV integration. Analysis of viral integration patterns using independently developed software (HPV-TSD) yielded multiple complete integration patterns for the three HPV cell lines. We found distinct differences between the integration patterns of HPV18 and HPV16. Furthermore, the integration characteristics of the viruses were significantly different, even though they all belonged to HPV16 integration. The HPV integration in the CaSki cells was relatively complex. The HPV18 integration status in HeLa cells was the dominant, whereas the percentage of integrated HPV 16 in SiHa and CaSki cells was significantly lower. In addition, the virus sequences in the HeLa cells were incomplete and existed in an integrated state. We also identified a large number of tandem repeats in HPV16 and HPV18 integration. Our study not only clarified the feasibility of high-throughput long-read sequencing in the study of HPV integration, but also explored a variety of HPV integration models, and confirmed that viral integration is an important form of HPV in cell lines. Elucidating HPV integration patterns will provide critical guidance for developing a detection algorithm for HPV integration, as well as the application of virus integration in clinical practice and drug research and development.

Frequency response of a mass grounded by linear and nonlinear springs in series: An exact analysis

An exact analytical solution for the frequency response of a system consisting of a mass grounded by linear and nonlinear springs in series was derived. The system is applicable in the study of beams carrying intermediate rigid mass. The exact solution was derived by naturally transforming the integral of the governing nonlinear ODE into a form that can be expressed in terms of elliptic integrals. Hence, the exact frequency–amplitude solution was derived in terms of the complete elliptic integral of the first and third kinds. Periodic solutions were found to exist for all real values of [Formula: see text] and for [Formula: see text]. On the other hand, linear or weakly nonlinear frequency–amplitude responses were found to occur during small-amplitude vibrations ([Formula: see text]), very large-amplitude vibrations with strong hardening nonlinearity ([Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text]), and for all amplitudes when [Formula: see text]. Simulations showed that the system’s periodic response is significantly influenced by the nonlinearity parameter ([Formula: see text]), linearity parameter ([Formula: see text]), and amplitude of vibration ([Formula: see text]). Besides, the existence of bifurcation points at [Formula: see text] and different values of [Formula: see text] was confirmed. Lastly, an approximate frequency solution obtained using the He’s frequency–amplitude formulation was found to produce errors less than 1.0% for a wide range of input parameters. In conclusion, the present study provides a benchmark solution for verification of other approximate solutions, and the He’s frequency–amplitude formulation can be used to obtain fast and accurate solutions for complex nonlinear systems.

Inovasi Pembelajaran IPS Kelas VI Materi Kegiatan Ekonomi di Negara ASEAN Melalui Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning

Learning innovation is something that is important and must be owned by teachers. The teacher's willingness to try, discover, explore and search for various learning approaches, methods and strategies is one of the supports for the emergence of various new innovations. Social studies as a subject at elementary school level is essentially a complete integration of social science disciplines and other relevant scientific disciplines to realize educational goals at school level. From the results of teacher observations, several problems were found in social studies learning, including: (1) in the teaching process teachers only use lecture and question and answer methods so that students tend to get bored because they find learning less interesting; (2) the learning that takes place is always teacher-centered so that student involvement is less active; (3) students' understanding and memory are still minimal. To overcome problems in learning in class VI, learning is implemented at SD Negeri Temon using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method regarding Economic Activities in ASEAN Countries. The choice of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method in the learning process is adjusted to the basic competencies in social studies learning. The teacher gives a number of trigger problems, then students continuously develop their knowledge in groups and individually.

Community Pharmacists' Role in Reducing the Incidence of Cardiometabolic Adverse Drug Events in Schizophrenia: Insights from Mental Health Professionals.

Background and Objectives: Schizophrenia, a debilitating mental illness, is often associated with significant physical health risks. Many second-generation antipsychotics increase the risk of metabolic syndrome and cardiovascular disease. Community pharmacists are highly accessible and could play a role in monitoring cardiometabolic adverse drug events in people with schizophrenia. However, it remains uncertain whether mental health professionals perceive this as valuable. This study aimed to explore the opinions of mental healthcare professionals regarding the role of community pharmacists in reducing the incidence of cardiometabolic adverse events in people with schizophrenia and their integration into a multidisciplinary mental health team. Materials and Methods: Qualitative semi-structured interviews were conducted with Australian psychiatrists, mental health nurses and mental health pharmacists. Transcription of the interviews underwent thematic analysis using an inductive approach. Results: Eleven mental healthcare professionals from metropolitan and regional areas across Australia were interviewed, leading to the identification of five overarching themes. These themes encompassed the following aspects: the benefits of community pharmacists' involvement in managing cardiometabolic adverse drug events in people with schizophrenia, improving communication pathways with community pharmacists, defining roles and responsibilities for monitoring cardiometabolic parameters and managing adverse cardiometabolic drug events, fostering collaboration between community pharmacists and mental health care professionals, and recognising the acceptance of community pharmacists' integration within a multidisciplinary team. Mental health professionals believed that community pharmacists could play a role in reducing the incidence of cardiometabolic adverse events in schizophrenia. However, they underscored the need for enhanced communication and collaboration pathways with other healthcare professionals, emphasised the importance of more comprehensive mental health first aid training, and identified potential barriers for community pharmacists such as remuneration, workload, and staff resources. Conclusions: Mental health professionals acknowledged the benefits of incorporating community pharmacists into multidisciplinary teams as a strategy to reduce the incidence of adverse events among individuals with schizophrenia. They recognise the competence of community pharmacists in monitoring cardiometabolic adverse events. However, these professionals have also highlighted specific perceived barriers to the complete integration of community pharmacists within these teams. Notably, there are concerns related to remuneration, staff resources, time constraints, acceptance by other healthcare professionals and patients, and the need for improved communication pathways. Addressing these barriers and providing targeted training could facilitate the valuable inclusion of community pharmacists in the comprehensive care of people with schizophrenia.

CDIO‐CT collaborative strategy for solving complex STEM problems in system modeling and simulation: An illustration of solving the period of mathematical pendulum

AbstractThe problem‐project‐oriented STEM education plays a significant role in training students' ability of innovation. Although the conceive‐design‐implement‐operate (CDIO) approach and computational thinking (CT) are hot topics in recent decades, there are still two deficiencies: the CDIO approach and CT are discussed separately and a general framework of coping with complex STEM problems in system modeling and simulation is missing. In this paper, a collaborative strategy based on the CDIO and CT is proposed for solving complex STEM problems in system modeling and simulation with a general framework, in which the CDIO is about “how to do,” CT is about “how to think,” and the project means “what to do.” As an illustration, the problem of solving the period of mathematical pendulum is discussed in detail. The most challenging task involved in the problem is to compute the complete elliptic integral of the first kind (CEI‐1). In the philosophy of STEM education, all problems have more than one solution. For computing the CEI‐1, four methods are discussed with a top‐down strategy, which includes the infinite series method, arithmetic‐geometric mean method, Gauss–Chebyshev method, and Gauss‐Legendre method. The algorithms involved can be utilized for R & D projects of interest and be reused according to the requirements encountered. The general framework for solving complex STEM problems in system modeling and simulation is worth recommending to college students and instructors.

On‐Chip Light Polarization Management by Mapping the Polarization Information to Phase Shift

AbstractThe comprehensive management of light polarization states has significantly advanced various fields into a new era. With the advent of photonic integration, there has been a persistent desire to replace the bulky optical components with compact chip‐scale circuits. Nonetheless, the complete integration of polarization‐dependent systems has not yet been accomplished due to the absence of a mature polarization management scheme that possesses a tiny form factor and high foundry process compatibility meanwhile maintaining low operation complexity. Here, to overcome these limitations a novel concept called polarization phase mapping, which encodes the information between the light polarization in one waveguide and the relative light phase shift in another two waveguides, is proposed. With this bi‐directional mapping approach, the fundamental basis of polarization management has shifted from polarization adjustment to phase regulation. All essential polarization‐related functions including synthesizing, stabilizing, measuring, rotating, splitting, and mixing are demonstrated with the standard process in foundries. The size of the polarization rotating unit is pushed down to a few light wavelengths while keeping a competitive performance. Moreover, the proposed concept can be readily applied to other integrated photonics platforms. It is expected to unlock new opportunities for complex polarization‐related applications.

A13Mixed reality simulation training in the assessment and management of acutely unwell patients in undergraduate medical education: a pilot study

Development and enrichment of the undergraduate simulation experience is needed due to its utility in developing the aspiring clinician and their ability to assess and manage acutely unwell patients. However, with its heavy resource demand, and the desire for technologically enhanced learning by ‘Generation Z’, novel simulation modalities must now be considered [1]. Mixed reality (MR) technology provides a platform to deliver such simulation training; however, it is yet to be studied in this context. To evaluate this, we conducted an observational cohort study to assess if MR simulation improves students’ perceived ability to assess and manage acutely unwell patients. We recruited 32 undergraduate medical students and asked them to rate their ability to assess and manage acutely unwell patients out of 10, before delivering a 2-hour MR simulation teaching session using the Microsoft HoloLens head-mounted device and HoloScenario software produced by GigXR [2]. They were then asked again to rate their assessment and management ability alongside their experience of the MR system and its usability. Data were analysed using paired Analysis of the MR teaching session showed a statistically significant improvement of student scores in their perceived ability in assessment ( MR shows promise in its ability to deliver simulation training and improve students’ perceived ability to assess and manage acutely unwell patients. Advances in software availability and simulation exercises are required for complete integration into undergraduate medical curricula. Further research is required to assess if MR simulation objectively improves student performance in this area.
