Using computerized systems of evaluation and color reproduction, the influence of the characteristics of yarn and on the formation and spectral characteristics of color is shown. As the test objects, we have taken 36 samples of wool with different indicators that form the concept of fabrics texture and acid dyes: acid red fade-proof STU 36-13-66-64, acid bright blue anthraquinone STU 21-387-64, and acid yellow fade-proof GOST 10850-64. Spectral characteristics of the colors were calculated on the basis of the reflection spectra of the samples obtained using a spectrophotometer «Spektra Scan 5100 p. Premier Colerscan. Color differences are calculated in the CIEL * a * b * system. Based on empirical data, it is recommended to form a series of calibration for dye yarns of different characteristics. While forming the base of the colorimetric data for dyeing of plain, twill, and satin weaves it is enough to use the spectral characteristics of the substrate to adjust the function of Gurevich-Kubelka-Munk. It was found that to get the standard color for the of satin weave it is possible to reduce the concentration of the dye in the dye solution as compared to dyeing of of plain weave. The appropriateness of computerized systems of objective measurement and color reproduction under the specified standard for the efficient formation of color of textured wool was shown.
