Research on Application of Cloud Storage in Smart Distribution and Consumption Integrated Management System

At present, the situations of long period independent operation of each kind of distribution and consumption management system and lack of effective integration, it obstructed the inter-departmental coordination of business operations. According to IEC61968, the paper proposed a smart distribution and consumption integrated management system that integration of existing systems at the distribution and consumption side. The system can solve the problem of information islands. With the scope of the power system data acquisition continues to expand, in the future need mass data storage and analysis capabilities, it is insufficient of the existing storing and information-processing platform of the power system, the cloud storage based on Hadoop can solve the problem. The Experiments show that cloud storage based on Hadoop clusters has characteristics of high throughput rates and high transmission rate, which can meet the mass data storage access requirements of the smart distribution and consumption integrated management system.

Official Arbitration with Secure Cloud Storage Application

In a secure cloud storage setting, a client outsources storage of her data to a server, who may, willingly or not, corrupt the data, or delete infrequently accessed parts to save space. Existing proof of storage schemes only solve part of this problem: The client may obtain a cryptographic proof of integrity. But what happens if this proof fails to verify? We argue that in such a case, both the client and the server should be able to contact an official court, providing cryptographic proofs, to resolve this dispute. We show that, this property is stronger than what is known as public verifiability since we must handle a malicious client as well. We present multiple schemes that work for various static and dynamic storage solutions. We show implementation results where the overhead for adding the ability to resolve such disputes at a court is only 2 ms and 80 bytes for each update on the stored data, using standard desktop hardware. Finally, we note that disputes may arise in many other situations, such as when two parties exchange items (e.g. e-commerce) or agree on something (e.g. contract-signing). We extend our official arbitration protocols for a general case, including dynamic authenticated data structures.

Lockbox: mobility, privacy and values in cloud storage

This paper examines one particular problem of values in cloud computing: how individuals can take advantage of the cloud to store data without compromising their privacy and autonomy. Through the creation of Lockbox, an encrypted cloud storage application, we explore how designers can use reflection in designing for human values to maintain both privacy and usability in the cloud.

Application of Cloud Storage in the Data Bank of Teaching Resources of Plane Design Specialty

Cloud storage is a new type of concept of digital information storage. In view of its advantages in distributed storage, collaborative storage, dynamic allocation storage space, smooth migration and backup, on the basis of the introduction of related concepts and unique advantages of cloud storage, the present essay introduced cloud storage into the data bank of plane design materials, and constructed a scheme of cloud storage of the data bank of the plane design materials from the three aspects of system structure, topological structure and function module.

A QoS-aware Model for Cloud Storage Environment

Nowadays, the administration of resources and application scheduling in a large-scale cloud storage environment is a formidable task, especially in dynamic changing scenario both in storage providers and consumers requirement sides. In order to meet the challenge of dynamic change characteristic in cloud storage application, this paper presents a new QoS-aware approach to match individual applications to most appropriate cloud storage nodes based on their particular attribute matrix, such as capacity, response time, I/O throughput, availability and user requirements etc. The experimental results illustrate that our QoS-aware method can achieve better performance than existing random scheduling algorithm in terms of load balance, response time and I/O throughput.

The technical security issues in cloud computing

With the development of multi-core processors, virtualisation, distributed storage, broadband internet and automatic management, a new type of computing mode named cloud computing is produced. The cloud computing has drastically altered everyone's perception of infrastructure architectures, software delivery and development models. Cloud computing adoption and diffusion are threatened by unresolved security issues that affect both the cloud provider and the cloud user. A secure data storage architecture based on cloud computing is presented in this paper to deal with the data security in the cloud storage systems and applications. This architecture research, the security issues from data storage and data security including the data storage model based on caching and data security model based on the third party secure publication. This method improves the high availability of data. Protection measures from the data storage to transmission are taken to ensure safety.

Secure cloud storage based on cryptographic techniques

Cloud computing is the delivery of computing and storage capacity as a service to users. Cloud storage, as a subservice of infrastructure as a service (IaaS) in cloud computing, is a model of networked online storage where data is stored in virtualized pools of storage. As fast development and application of cloud computing and cloud storage, users concern more and more about security and privacy issues involved in these techniques. From industrial and academic viewpoints currently, cryptography is considered as a key technology to solve security and privacy problems. In this paper, we mainly give a review on research results of secure cloud storage in which cryptographic techniques have been used to their designs. We start form reviewing the definition of cloud storage, and subsequently review the existing secure cloud storage based on cryptographic techniques. Moreover, we analyze and indicate what type of cryptographic techniques is mainly adopted in existing cloud storages and what role the cryptographic techniques play. Through this work, we can better catch what the relationship between secure cloud storage and cryptographic techniques, and how about the application mechanism of cryptographic techniques in cloud storage. We hope this review can give some help for future research, and more secure cloud storages by using cryptographic techniques can be proposed in the future.

Privacy Protection in Cloud Storage

The storage security technology in cloud storage applications was analyzed, and in order to satisfied the demand for privacy protection, the key technology of data encryption and authentication are described and the methods of privacy protection in data mining under the cloud were discussed. At the same time, a hierarchical mechanism of authentication was proposed. These methods and mechanisms could solve the problem of privacy protection in a certain degree, and ensure the security of cloud storage.
