Evaluating the Impact of Team-Assisted Individualization and Team Games Tournament Approaches on Student Engagement in Science Learning

This study assesses the efficacy of the Teams Assisted Individualization (TAI) and Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning models in enhancing academic performance and engagement among Mathematics students. Utilizing a classroom action research approach, the study was conducted over two cycles, each comprising four stages: observation, initial data collection, implementation planning of TAI and TGT, and report preparation. The participants included 72 students from classes VII A and VII B. The research revealed significant improvements in student performance. In class VII A, utilizing TAI, the percentage of students meeting the minimum competency level (KKM) increased from 45% in the pre-action phase to 85% by the end of Cycle II. Similarly, in class VII B, under the TGT model, the percentage of students achieving the KKM rose from 55% to 92%, with completion rates of assigned tasks also showing notable improvements. The findings suggest that both TAI and TGT models are effective in promoting higher academic achievement and greater student engagement in Mathematics. The substantial increase in students meeting the KKM and completing tasks indicates that these collaborative learning strategies significantly enhance learning outcomes. Implementing the TAI and TGT collaborative learning models has proven beneficial in boosting engagement, motivation, and academic performance among seventh-grade students at SMPN 243 Jakarta in their Mathematics coursework.

Revolutionizing Early Education through Advanced Speaking Skills Approach

This study implemented the show and tell method to enhance the speaking skills of 5-6-year-old children at Wonosari Muslimat Kindergarten. Using the Classroom Action Research (PTK) approach with collaborative planning, implementation, and reflection, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Results showed significant improvement, reaching 77.47% proficiency in the second cycle, meeting the 75% target. This research highlights the effectiveness of the show and tell method in improving early childhood speaking skills. Peningkatan keterampilan passing bawah bola voli melalui pemanfaatan alat bantu papan spalk

This research is motivated by the common understanding that coaching and training in physical education and sports often emphasize physical abilities and technical skills, with minimal attention to psychological aspects. However, the conceptual framework for optimal achievement should encompass all supporting aspects simultaneously, including physical, technical, tactical, and mental dimensions. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate whether training using a spiking board tool influences the skills and abilities of underhand volleyball passing. The study involved 21 students from SDN 4 Bayasari, Jatinagara, as the input variable. The training method employed was underhand volleyball passing exercises using a spiking board. The research utilized the Classroom Action Research approach, consisting of two cycles and four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection.The research findings indicate that the training method with the spiking board significantly enhances underhand volleyball passing skills. In the second cycle, there was a notable increase in skills, reaching 90.48%, while the ability to execute underhand volleyball passing improved to 85.71%. These results suggest that the use of the spiking board as a training aid has a positive impact on the development of students' skills and abilities in volleyball.

Upaya Meningkatkan Kemampuan Motorik Halus Pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Melalui Metode Mewarnai Gambar di TK Anugerah Soe

This research aims to determine efforts to improve the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years through the method of coloring pictures. This research uses a classroom action research approach carried out in two cycles. Each cycle goes through four stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were Anugerah Soe Kindergarten with 27 children aged 4-6 years, consisting of 8 girls and 19 boys. Data is collected through observation, documentation and performance. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptive methods. The results of the research show that coloring activities are very appropriate for developing the fine motor skills of kindergarten children because through coloring activities children learn about initial writing skills, namely the ability to hold coloring tools, move the wrist and hand-eye coordination which is very useful for the next level of education. Therefore, implementing coloring activities for kindergarten children is considered very appropriate.

Meningkatkan Kemampuan Bertanya Anak Usia Dini melalui Eksperimen Sains di Kober Nurul Huda

The author's interest in using science experiments at Kober Nurul Huda to enhance young children's ability to ask questions drove this research. It highlights the significance of early childhood education (PGPAUD) as guidance for children from birth to six years of age, citing Law 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System. According to Montesori and other theories of education, children develop very quickly at this age in a number of areas. Nonetheless, Kober Nurul Huda observations revealed that the majority of kids were less engaged in asking questions, leading to the conclusion that kids' skills needed to be developed. Thus, the purpose of this study is to assess how science experiments at Kober Nurul Huda affect young children's ability to ask questions and to enhance that ability in young children. 17 children participated in three research cycles using a classroom action research (PTK) approach, and data was gathered through observation, documentation sheets, and both quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The study's findings demonstrate that young children at Kober Nurul Huda have significantly improved their ability to ask questions, as evidenced by cycles II and III. This improvement is particularly evident in their capacity to ask questions without feeling uncomfortable. Therefore, it can be said that science experiments help young children in Kober Nurul Huda develop their ability to ask questions.

Inquisitive Ability on Chemistry Material Gamification with Project Based Learning Approach

This study aims to evaluate the use of gamification in increasing students’ inquisitive ability on chemistry material with project based learning approach. In this research, an analysis of students' inquisitive ability will be carried out which consists of three indicators, namely wondering and questioning, exploring and investigating, and challenging assumption. The research was carried out using a classroom action research approach consisting of 3 cycles, where research data was collected by giving a questionnaire consisting of 4 statements for each indicator with 5 options for each research instrument. Apart from the questionnaire method, research data was collected through random interviews and structured observation. Based on data analysis, students' inquisitive ability was highest in the wondering and questioning indicator at 83.68 in cycle 3. Meanwhile, students' inquisitive ability was lowest in the challenging assumptions indicator at 41.25 in cycle 1. In general, gamification activities were able to increase students' inquisitive ability between 9% - 50%.

Students’ Imaginative Skills to Create a Simple Gamification on Chemistry Material

The creativity dimension related to cognitive, affective, psychomotor and other skills aspects. The creativity dimension is closely related to learning outcomes and students' ability to be creative in producing relevant products. One important indicator of the creativity dimension is students' imagination skills. Through good imagination skills, students will be able to predict and create patterns in the content and context of learning material. In this research, an analysis of students' imagination skills will be carried out which consists of three indicators, namely playing with possibilities, making connections, and using intuition. The research was carried out using a classroom action research approach consisting of 3 cycles, where research data was collected by giving a questionnaire consisting of 4 statements for each indicator with 5 options for each research instrument. Apart from the questionnaire method, research data was collected through random interviews and structured observation. Based on data analysis, students' imagination skills were highest in the playing with possibilities indicator at 81.05 in cycle 3. Meanwhile, students' imagination skills were lowest in the using intuitions indicator at 35.75 in cycle 1. In general, simple gamification activities were able to increase students' imagination skills between 10% - 40%.

Vowel Recognition Revolutionizes Early Childhood Education Globally

This study addresses the challenge of vowel recognition among 3-4-year-old children, focusing on vowels like “e,” “u,” and “o.” Using a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, twelve children at KB Aisyiyah 17 Jasem participated in pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II interventions. The results showed a significant improvement from a 33.3% recognition rate in the pre-cycle to 95.3% in cycle II, indicating the effectiveness of using ball letter media. This research highlights the importance of tailored teaching methods in enhancing early childhood learning outcomes, particularly in improving vowel recognition skills. Word Box Intervention Revolutionizes Early Literacy Potential in Education

his study investigates the efficacy of utilizing the "Word Box" media to enhance beginning reading skills among 5-6-year-old children in a preschool setting. Through a classroom action research (PTK) approach involving 12 participants, the study demonstrates a significant improvement in beginning reading proficiency from 17% in the pre-cycle to 83% in cycle II. The findings underscore the effectiveness of the intervention in improving early literacy skills and highlight its implications for teacher pedagogy and classroom management in preschool education. Increasing Interest and Learning Outcomes in Sociology with the Problem Based Learning Model (PBL) Learning Model for Class X IPS Students at SMA Negeri 1 Kuala Behe

The purpose of this study was to observe the problem-based learning model in an effort to improve students' interest and learning outcomes. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach. In this study, the sociology teacher acted as the actor and the researcher as a collaborative partner as an observer. The learning process was conducted in 2 cycles, with 4 meetings in each cycle, consisting of action planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The data collection tools in this study were observation to observe students' learning interest, observation of teacher activities, tests to determine students' learning outcomes, and documentation. The results of this study showed that the sociology teacher's teaching using the problem-based learning model in cycle I and cycle II improved, as well as students' learning interest, which showed improvement in both cycles. Based on the research data, it was found that students' learning outcomes also improved from the pre-test and post-test results, with improvements in learning mastery for each cycle.

Classroom Action Research: Implementasi Model Picture and Picture in Social Learning in Elementary Schools

One of the factors that influences students' learning motivation is the use of appropriate learning media by teachers because media is a tool to convey the message of the material being taught. This research aims to analyze the effects of using multimedia in the learning process in elementary schools. This research uses quantitative methods with a classroom action research approach. Data sources were taken using questionnaires and oral tests from twenty-one students from one of the elementary schools in Indonesia. All data were analyzed using SPSS 18 software with descriptive analysis (percent). Overall statistical analysis shows that the use of the model Picture and Picture in social learning has shown encouraging results. This fact can be seen from the increase in students' pre-test and post-test scores which were carried out through two learning cycles. Even students show positive learning attitudes such as being happy, enthusiastic, and always active in learning. Therefore, pictures and pictures are one of the alternatives that teachers can use as a solution for social learning which has been considered boring and students get bored quickly.

Learning Science is Easy and Fun Using Models Project-Based Learning

Science learning is an important foundation in students' intellectual development and analytical abilities. However, students often feel bored and lose interest in science learning. This research aims to analyze the effects of using project-based learning in elementary schools. This research uses the method quantitative with a classroom action research approach. Data sources were taken using questionnaires and written tests from twenty-eight students in one elementary school in Indonesia. All data were analyzed using SPSS 18 software with descriptive analysis (percent). The results of statistical analysis show that the use of the project-based learning model has a positive effect on student attitudes and learning outcomes. This fact can be seen from changes in students' attitudes who are more active in learning, have greater curiosity than usual, and do not get bored quickly in learning. This fact is also supported by an increase in student learning outcomes from pre-cycle, cycle one, and cycle two. Therefore, implementing the project-based learning model is an alternative solution that teachers can use in science learning which has been considered difficult and boring.

ICT Integration in the Islamic Religious Education Learning Process

One of the factors that causes low student scores includes a lack of encouragement for students to develop thinking skills. Increasing students' understanding can be done by integrating ICT using the Role Playing method, because students can demonstrate learning material directly by playing roles with the help of ICT. Therefore, this research aims to explain how to improve student learning outcomes by using the Role Playing method. This research uses quantitative methods with a classroom action research approach. Data sources were taken using questionnaires and oral tests on 22 people consisting of 12 male students and 10 female students. Overall, the research results show that the use of the role playing method shows quite significant improvements, especially in the cognitive domain. Therefore, integrating ICT using role playing is an alternative in improving Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes.

IMPROVING SKI LEARNING OUTCOMES BASED ON CLASS MANAGEMENT USING A WHOLE GROUP DISCUSSION APPROACH

Teacher competence in implementing classroom management functions based on student activity, as well as student interest and active participation in the learning process, is one of the factors that can influence the achievement of learning objectives and improve student learning outcomes, so innovative learning management is needed. The purpose of this study is to examine how classroom management using the whole group discussion technique and increasing the History of Islam (SKI) learning achievement of class V students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Attaqwa 19 Bogor sero Bekasi. This research used an experimental method with a classroom action research (PTK) approach applied to 80 students in class V MI 19 Bogor Sero Bekasi, who were divided into two classes, through the use of Simple Random Sampling Techniques. Shows that there is an increase in SKI learning results after conducting experiments using a classroom management approach based on the use of whole group discussion techniques, and the results of rxy and t calculations show t-count is 4.352 while t-table is 1.685954; this shows t-count is greater than t-table, meaning there is a significant influence So, classroom management using the Whole Group Discussion Technique has a significant influence on student learning outcomes in SKI subjects with a Gain Score of 63.6, meaning there is a significant increase between the experimental class and the control class. This research can be used as a reference for teachers to improve student learning outcomes.

PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY LEARNING BERBASIS POWERPOINT PADA MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA DI SMP NEGERI 3 SATU ATAP ARAMO

This research aims to investigate the influence of implementing the Discovery Learning model based on PowerPoint on students' interest in learning economics, specifically on economic activities such as production, distribution, and consumption, at SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Aramo. This study employs the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach with a qualitative method aimed at exploring the learning process in addressing specific issues. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Aramo with a population of seventh-grade students, totaling 20 students. The results of the research indicate that out of the total sampled students, 25% of them obtained scores ranging from 50 to 56, another 25% of students scored between 66 and 75, and the remaining 50% of students scored between 76 and 98. This research aims to provide a deeper understanding of the effectiveness of specific teaching methods on students' learning interests in the context of economics.

Workshop on Scientific Paper Writing for Teachers Classroom Action Research Approach at Madrasah Aliyah Laboratorium Jambi

Classroom Action Research (CAR) plays a crucial role as a benchmark in improving teacher professionalism. Through the implementation of CAR, it is expected that teachers can identify elements that can be applied to enhance the quality of the learning process, ultimately contributing to the improvement of the national education quality. This community service research method applies the ABCD approach. The purpose of this activity is to provide scientific paper writing training on CAR for teachers. The expected outcomes of this activity are, first, the teachers' ability to understand and master the formulation of CAR, and second, the teachers' ability to conduct Classroom Action Research. The implementation of this activity is expected to enhance the knowledge and skills of training participants in creating scientific works on CAR, especially in formulating Classroom Action Research proposals. Additionally, participants are expected to be able to compose CAR papers in accordance with the procedures conveyed during the training.

Improving Students’ Cognitive Abilities through Jarimatics Method at Al-Hidayah Negarasaka Village Negerikaton District Pesawaran District

This research is based on the researcher's observations and experience, that cognitive abilities through Jarimatika are not just a medium for counting, but by using the Jarimatika method, children feel happy and there is no pressure. Using the Jarimatika method can train children's counting, and increase children's numeracy skills. Based on the background of the problem, the research problem was formulated, namely: whether the application of learning through the Jarimatika method is able to improve the numeracy skills of Group B RA students. Al-Hidayah, Negarasaka Village, Negerikaton District, Pesawaran Regency. This research uses a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach. This research was carried out in two cycles, using instruments in the form of a calculation work sheet using the Jarimatika method and a teacher observation sheet. The improvement can be seen from the children's learning completeness in developing gross motor skills which has increased, this can be seen from the children's learning completeness in the Pras Cycle with a total of 40% completeness. then in cycle I it increased by 46.67%, and in cycle II the percentage of children's learning completion increased to 86.67%.

Optimizing Elementary School Education through the Implementation of Karawitan-Based Learning Grounded in Local Wisdom

Purpose of the study: This research aims to identify the optimization of the implementation of learning based on local musical wisdom in arts and culture music material subjects in elementary schools.
 Methodology: This research uses a classroom action research approach as the main method. The research subjects in this context are fifth grade elementary school students who are involved in learning based on Karawitan Local Wisdom. The data collection technique in this research uses a questionnaire to measure responses and observation sheets to measure student learning activity. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistics and the independent sample t-test.
 Main Findings: The research results show that the implementation of Karawitan Local Wisdom-based learning at the Sendangsari Village Elementary School, through a project-based and open approach, has had a significant positive impact on students' responses and their activeness in the learning process. There is a real increase in students' interest, understanding and appreciation of the learning material, along with more intensive student participation.
 Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of the results of this research lies in the implementation of a Karawitan Local Wisdom-based learning model at the elementary school level, which concretely depicts significant changes in students' responses and their activeness during the learning process.

Transformative Pedagogy: Investigating the Impact of Online Jigsaw Model on Motivation and Academic Achievement in High School Mathematics

Several earlier research investigated the use of Jigsaw to improve the quality of the online mathematics teaching-learning process. However, few studies have used the Jigsaw approach to improve the quality of online mathematics education, particularly in terms of motivation and learning results. To address this research gap, the goal is to outline the process of integrating the Jigsaw model in online learning and to demonstrate the importance of enhancing student motivation during the learning process. This study used the classroom action research approach, which involved 36 students from a high school in Central Java Province, Indonesia. The results of this investigation indicate that the application of Jigsaw can be done online using numerous procedures indicated in this study. Furthermore, the results indicate a considerable improvement in motivation and learning outcomes. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a reference for teachers on how to implement the Jigsaw model online.

Meningkatkan Literasi Numerasi Melalui Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Berkonteks Islam dengan Berbantuan Geogebra

This research aims to implement a context-based problem-solving learning model with Islamic context assisted by GeoGebra to enhance the numeracy literacy skills of students in the topic of matrix in Grade XI MIPA at MAN Barito Timur. The study employs a classroom action research approach with two cycles. Data is collected through pretests, post-tests, observations of learning implementation, and student worksheets. The results indicate that applying the learning model successfully improves students' numeracy literacy skills. In cycle 1, there was an increase from 5 students reaching the minimum passing grade (KKM) in the pretest to 9 students or 56% in the post-test. In cycle 2, 7 students achieved KKM in the pretest, which increased to 12 students in the post-test, reaching 75%. Student engagement also improved positively, reflecting the effectiveness of the learning model. The use of GeoGebra as a tool for visualization and exploration had a positive impact on deeper understanding. In conclusion, the Islamic context-based problem-solving learning model assisted by GeoGebra effectively enhances students' numeracy literacy.
