Menanamkan Karakter Ikhlas Sejak Usia Dini: Pembentukan Keikhlasan pada Anak PAUD KB Hidayatullah Gading Kulon Banyuanyar Probolinggo sebagai Landasan Kebaikan

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) plays a crucial role in shaping children's character and personality. One of the essential character values to instill from an early age is sincerity. The instillation of sincere character in PAUD children forms positive social and spiritual attitudes, which will affect their development in the future. This study aims to examine the application of sincerity values in character building for children at PAUD KB Hidayatullah Gading Kulon Banyuanyar Probolinggo. The research method used is a qualitative approach with interviews and observations as data collection techniques. The results show that PAUD KB Hidayatullah has integrated sincerity values into learning activities, both in religious education and daily social interactions. Sincerity is understood as performing good deeds with pure intentions for Allah alone, without expecting praise or reward. The instillation of this value has positively impacted the children's character development, including strengthening empathy, cooperation, and a sense of responsibility. Based on these findings, it is recommended that sincerity values be more widely integrated into the PAUD curriculum to create a generation that is not only intellectually capable but also morally upright.

The Role of Islamic Education Teachers in Shaping Student Character in the Era of Society 5.0

Character development in children is a crucial aspect that underscores the significant role of teachers. In addition to being educators, teachers must also guide and serve as role models for their students. This study highlights the important role of teachers in shaping students' morals in the Society 5.0 era. The primary objective of this research is to understand how students' morals change in the context of Society 5.0 and the role of teachers in fostering better and more character-driven students. The study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations to achieve accurate and comprehensive results. The findings indicate that the moral condition of students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Bengkalis is generally good. The role of teachers in shaping students' morals in the Society 5.0 era can be divided into three stages: 1). Before the Learning Process: Teachers function as instructional designers, role models, and parental figures. 2). During the Learning Process: Teachers act as organizers, motivators, facilitators, innovators, and mentors. 3). After the Learning Process: Teachers serve as supervisors and evaluators.This research provides insights into how teachers can adapt and innovate in the digital era to enhance students' morals and character, offering practical recommendations for future educational development.

The high rate of divorce in Indonesia raises new concerns for parents in educating their children. The integrity of family members is essential in fostering positive character development in children. For a mother, fulfilling two roles within the family is not an easy task. The application of different communication patterns can lead to varying character development in children. This study aims to identify the communication patterns employed by single mothers in the character development of their children, as well as to understand the obstacles faced by single mothers in communicating with their children. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological study approach. The theory used in this research is symbolic interactionism. Data collection was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and literature studies. The findings indicate that there are several different communication patterns implemented by single mothers in educating and shaping their childrens positive character. The obstacles faced by each family vary, but each family strives to maintain effective communication within the family.

Reasonable Education in the Book of Tarbiyatul Aulad by Abdullah Nashih Ulwan and Its Implications in Modern Education

This research aims to explore the concept of intellectual education in the book "Tarbiyatul Aulad" by Abdullah Nashih Ulwan and analyze its relevance to modern education. Abdullah Nashih Ulwan emphasized the importance of intellectual education, which focuses on mastering knowledge and developing critical thinking skills, analytical skills, and the cultivation of ethical and moral values based on Islamic teachings. The educational methods recommended by Ulwan, such as dialogue and discussion, reading habits, active learning, and judicious use of technology, show suitability for modern educational needs that demand a balance between intellectual and moral aspects. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach to identify the principles and methods of intellectual education in the book of Ulwan and compares them with the approach in modern education. Data was obtained through a literature review and analysis of the text of the book "Tarbiyatul Aulad". The results of the study show that the concept of intellectual education proposed by Ulwan can be adapted to the modern education system to create a holistic and balanced education. The implementation of these concepts in modern education can face challenges such as resistance to change and limited resources, but the opportunities to improve the quality of education and character development of children are enormous. In conclusion, the education of reason in the book "Tarbiyatul Aulad" significantly contributes to the development of modern education that is more comprehensive, integrative, and based on Islamic values.

Revitalising indigenous sports in India: an examination of their impact on fostering social and character development of children

ABSTRACT Indigenous sports and games in India, deeply entrenched in traditional practices and cultural heritage, offer diverse physical activities for individuals, particularly children. This review explores the historical origins and contemporary significance of Traditional Indigenous Sporting Games (TISG), emphasising their role in promoting holistic health and character development. This paper represents timeless and nationwide popular traditional indigenous sporting games like Kancha (marbles), Spinning Top, Hide and Seek, Hopscotch, Thoda, Gatka, Kalarippayattu, and Silambam (a kind of staff fencing), offering a unique blend of physical fitness and character cultivation. These activities, often played in open spaces and village settings, provide children with opportunities to engage in physical play while honing essential skills such as coordination, teamwork, and resilience. Embedded within these indigenous sports are fundamental values that echo the moral teachings found in ancient Indian texts like the Vedas, Upanishads, Ramayana, and Mahabharata. By embracing and revitalising these indigenous sports, a community can nurture a sense of cultural identity and pride while simultaneously promoting the holistic development of children. Through active participation in these traditional indigenous games, children not only improve their physical fitness but also gain valuable character-building experiences that contribute to their overall well-being and personal growth.

Landbaw Village is situated in Tanggamus Regency's Gisting District. This village created a Quranic Education Park to instill moral principles and Quranic education in children from a young age. A crucial venue for children's character development and formation is the Quranic Education Park (TPQ). From an early age, children are provided with the chance to study and explore the sacred book of the Quran, adhere to Islamic principles, and develop admirable qualities through this establishment. They are given a brief introduction to the Quran, helped to comprehend its lessons, and urged to live their lives in accordance with Islamic principles. The Landbaw village now offers the option to learn using the talaqqi method. With this method, there is direct communication between the between the teacher and the children.

Parenting Program Management: Fostering School-Parent Cooperation to Optimize Children's Character Development in Early Childhood Education

This study investigates the management and implementation of parenting programs in early childhood education settings within Southwest Aceh, Indonesia. The research focuses on three kindergartens (TK), TK. Negeri Pembina Blangpidie, TK. Al Khaliq Susoh, and TK. Jamal Has Jeumpa—utilizing a qualitative approach to explore how these programs are planned, organized, executed, and monitored. Findings underscore the critical role of school principals in leading these initiatives and the significant impact of active parental involvement on children's character development. The study highlights the successful integration of community resources and stakeholder engagement despite resource constraints and cultural differences. The results suggest that systematic management, continuous feedback, and adaptive strategies are essential for effective collaboration between schools and parents. Key observations include the need for clear annual goals, structured coordination, and regular evaluation mechanisms to refine program effectiveness. The study calls for future research to address its limitations, including a confined geographical scope and short study duration, by conducting longitudinal and comparative studies across diverse regions. Incorporating quantitative methods alongside qualitative insights could provide a more comprehensive understanding of the long-term impacts of parenting programs on child development. Therefore, the research advocates for policies that facilitate active school-parent collaboration, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in educational practices to support the holistic development of children.

Building Assertive Character through the Arabic Picture Storybook

Human creativity extensively uses language to transform values, particularly through picture storybooks. "Qissat Asḥāb al-Fīl" (The Story of the Elephant Army) by Muhammad Abbas Al-Mubarak narrates the Asḥāb al-Fīl story, embedding various values, notably assertiveness. This study employs a descriptive qualitative analysis using content analysis to examine assertive characteristics in the storybook. Through denotative and connotative approaches, thirteen sentences exhibiting assertive traits were identified; eight sentences describe courage, one sentence describes responsibility, and four sentences describe desire. The findings indicate that "Qissat Asḥāb al-Fīl" promotes assertiveness, crucial for children's character development. This research underscores the potential of storybooks in fostering assertive behavior by enhancing readers' understanding of communication and recognizing linguistic nuances that convey assertiveness. Thus, this study contributes to the discourse on the educational value of storybooks in character building.

ANALISIS NILAI-NILAI AGAMA DAN MORAL DALAM TAYANGAN UPIN IPIN SEASON 5 IKHLAS DARI HATI PADA ANAK KELOMPOK A DI RA MAMBAIL FALAH

The aim of this study is to explore and elucidate the religious and ethical principles conveyed in the Upin Ipin season 5 episode titled "Ikhlas dari Hati," and to assess its influence on children's spiritual and moral growth. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing both primary and secondary data sources. Data gathering methods encompass observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis involves content analysis, data scrutiny, and reconstruction. The findings reveal that "Ikhlas dari Hati" episode of Upin Ipin portrays various religious and moral values, including integrity, acceptance, kindness, charity, assistance, collaboration, discipline, and reverence. Interview outcomes further demonstrate that Upin Ipin episodes can positively impact children's character development, fostering behaviors such as treating others with kindness and respect, offering assistance, and instilling other constructive values. Furthermore, this influence extends beyond mere knowledge acquisition, also influencing children's language patterns in their daily interactions. This occurs as children tend to readily emulate what they observe and hear, swiftly integrating these behaviors into their everyday lives. Character Development in Children of Baitul Hidayah Foundation (East Jakarta)

Character development education for children remains largely overlooked, with the majority only receiving instruction within elementary school classrooms, lacking practical activities to enhance their awareness. In our community empowerment project at the Baitul Hidayah Foundation, we endeavored to address this gap by providing materials, educational sessions, games, and project activities centered around children's character development, employing the 4-color character approach. Our efforts were guided by research focusing on children's character education and its impact on their comprehension of the significance of possessing good character to nurture positive relationships with peers, siblings, and others. Furthermore, following the outcomes of the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) involving the Baitul Hidayah Cijantung Foundation and Group 6 members, it became evident that the Baitul Hidayah Foundation had previously neglected character development education for its students, to the extent of never incorporating it into their curriculum. Therefore, our Community Empowerment Group 4 set out to rectify this deficiency by educating students at the Baitul Hidayah Foundation about the importance of character and providing guidance on its practical application.

Peranan Pramuka Terhadap Pembentukan Karakter Peserta Didik

The purpose of this research is to discover various moral principles that can be instilled by teachers outside the classroom, methods that can be used by teachers to teach students character, and obstacles to teaching character in this context. This qualitative study uses interviews, observations, and written notes. Interactive data analysis includes collection, presentation, reduction and drawing conclusions. This research found that scout involvement outside the classroom can help form nine traits, namely commitment to religious beliefs, discipline, caring, concern for the environment, tolerance, honesty, creativity, independence and responsibility. There are four scouting approaches that can help change a child's personality during scout education. Both types of group systems, working together and competing, encourage students to be loyal and able to train themselves to be responsible people, and value time more to complete tasks. Three interesting and challenging activities stimulate students' interest so they try to do it themselves. Learning through action also makes it easier for students to gain knowledge so they can quickly analyze and understand what they learn. The four open environment activities teach children to be independent, survive, adapt, and follow rules. Schools must face challenges to children's character development, including factors such as unfavorable societal influences, the influence of globalization, and the level of parental education.

THE ROLE OF MORAL EDUCATION IN CHILDREN'S CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT: A PHILOSOPHICAL PERSPECTIVE IN ISLAMIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

The role of moral education in character development of children is a crucial aspect in the educational process at MI (Islamic Elementary Schools). However, there is still a need to gain a deeper understanding of how educational philosophy can aid in developing the moral character of children at MI. This research employs a qualitative approach by conducting literature reviews and philosophical analyses of moral education concepts in Islam as well as the approaches used in MI. The results of the study indicate that moral education in MI can be enhanced through the application of philosophical approaches, such as introducing moral concepts in Islamic teachings contextually and using philosophical reflection methods in learning. Thus, moral education can be more effective in shaping the character of children to have noble morals in accordance with Islamic teachings.

Fairy tales are fun for children, and can optimize children's character development in achieving thinking development. Intellectual intelligence can be fulfilled if parents are able to take the time to tell stories to their children. This research discusses the moral values contained in the fairy tale "The Yellow-Skinned Girl" by Made Taro. In analyzing using the Moral Education theory according to Sjarkawi, Moral education is an educational process that aims to foster the formation of good morals for everyone and can change a person's behavior to become moral. In this research, repeated reading and note-taking techniques were used, focusing on the moral values contained in the fairy tales. Data collection uses library methods, this type of research is descriptive qualitative. The method for presenting data analysis uses an informal method. As a result of the discussion, there are eight moral message quotes that the author can analyze. Among them, a wife's loyalty to her husband, not being able to distinguish between daughters and sons, a mother's struggle to save her child, not distinguishing between daughters and sons, a mother's struggle to save her child, not being allowed to speak lies, a children who diligently help their parents, children's love for their biological father.

Children's lives today are marked by the sophistication of digital technology which has culminated in globalization. On the one hand, digital technology helps us in many ways, but on the other hand, it also poses problems for the development of children's character because they may not be able to use it properly as well as their parents hope. Therefore, without denying the positive benefits of digital technology for the dissemination of information and communication, it can also cause problems for the development of children's character, in particular, related to parenting patterns in the family and the internalization of values to strengthen their positive character. This article aims to describe parenting patterns in families in the era of digital technology which the author views as relevant for developing children's character. The writing method used in this research is qualitative. The results of this research show that the relevant parenting patterns in the era of digital technology are those based on the example of parents. Therefore, the main problem raised in this article is what are the threats and challenges of digital technology for children's character development? Through a literature review review, we investigate the basic and theoretical concepts of moral education, as well as its positive impact on children's character development. An in-depth analysis of the literature shows that moral education includes not only moral norms, but also builds ethical values, empathy, and social responsibility. The research also highlights the linkages between moral education, the moral development of individuals, and their contribution to society more broadly. The results of this study are expected to provide a solid theoretical foundation for further understanding of the importance of moral education in shaping children's character.

The implementation of the Pancasila student profile project is designed with several stages. First, it begins with problem identification, followed by topic selection, topic approval, and topic execution. Finally, an evaluation is conducted for improvement. The implementation of the project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile is guided by the six dimensions within the Pancasila student profile. This approach makes it easier for teachers to assist in the character development of children. The application of the Pancasila student profile project requires a high level of creativity from teachers to make the learning process engaging and enjoyable for students, preventing the class from becoming monotonous. In the implementation carried out by teachers in the project to reinforce the Pancasila student profile, there are continuous activities. This means that the project is not completed in a single instance. The Pancasila student profile is also a response provided by the government to address questions regarding what kind of profile or competencies are produced by the education system in Indonesia. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, which is used to describe the implementation of the Pancasila student profile project that references the six dimensions of the Pancasila student profile.

Character education is essential to become the leading mainstream of education in Indonesia both in the formal, non-formal and informal realms. Several factors affect the development of children's character, including parenting style and genetic personality. This study aims to determine the effect of parenting style and genetic personality on children's character development.

The aim of the research was to find out whether using flashcard media and playdough games could develop character in early childhood group B TK AL Bukhori Kaligondo. Variable X1 ( flashcard) indicators 1) Recognize word cards, 2) Recognize letter cards, 3) Recognize picture cards. Variable X2 (Playdough Game) indicator 1) Making Playdough shapes, 2) Playdough Coloring, 3) Forming patterns. Variable Y (Character Development). This research uses a causal quantitative research method. According to Sugiyono (2017), a causal quantitative approach is an approach in research that looks for relationships between one variable and other variables that have causation. This research tests the established hypotheses and to look for the influence between the independent variable and the dependent variable. Data collection: 1). observation, 2). interview, 3). document. Data analysis 1) instrument test, 2) classic assumption test, 3) hypothesis test. The results of t-test the effect of Flashcard Media on children's character development (11.829> 2.03452), the effect of Playdough Games on children's character development (6.667> 2.03452), the f test of the effect of Flashcard Media and Playdough games on children's character development. So it can be concluded that Flashcards and Playdough games have an effect on children's Character Development and H0 is rejected.

Humane education is an educational program that does not only focus on supporting the animal’s well-being but also generally gives positive impacts on children’s character development. Characters were born from the process of learning and habit practices that were carried out at early age. Therefore, character education should be taught early. Positive character development in children, for example, empathy and compassion, will contribute to the emergence of prosocial behavior. This could become preventive action or solution to anticipate the increasing violence trend that is directed either to humans, animals or, the environment.
