Social Education in The Perspective of the Quran and Hadith

This study examines social education contained in the Al-Qur'an, especially surah Ali Imran verse 64 and in the hadith. The research method used in this research uses the library research method, namely an effort to obtain data in the literature. The approach used in this research is also qualitative research, namely a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words of a character. .Because this research discusses interpretation in one theme, this research also uses the maudhu'i (thematic) method. Meanwhile, there are two data sources used, namely primary data sources and secondary data sources. The primary data sources used are two classic tafsir books by At Thabary and Ibnu Katsir and two contemporary tafsir books by Hamka with his tafsir Al Azhar and Qurash Shihab with his tafsir Al Misbah and the hadith of Muslim history number 2699. There are at least three things conveyed in the surah Ali Imran verse 64 and HR Muslim number 2699, namely the values ​​of monotheism, unity, and testimony of obedience to the one and only Allah. This verse confirms our worship of the only God, namely Allah SWT. Then continue with an attitude of unity even if some of us turn away. And the Muslims are a testimony that they are people who surrender.

Istidraj As A Metaphor (Study Of Hermeneutic Interpretation)

This study discusses the sentence sanastadrijuhum in the Qur'an, which is known in society as istidraj. The purpose of this study is to reveal the meaning of istidraj according to the exegetes in a metaphorical and hermeneutic perspective. This study is qualitative and descriptive and uses a literature review method. The data collection technique used is the Mau?u'i method (thematic analysis), while data analysis is carried out using a hermeneutic approach. The main source of this study is the Qur'an al-Karim, with supporting references from various tafsir books that are relevant to the theme. The study results show that, first, according to the exegetes, sanastadrijuhum is interpreted as a fall that occurs gradually and is almost imperceptible because it happens little by little. Allah SWT provides an opportunity to achieve a high position before being suddenly dropped. Second, metaphorically, istidraj has a satirical meaning, namely the postponement of punishment which is then given at once, both in the context of sin and goodness. Third, from a hermeneutic perspective, istidraj is a form of retribution that occurs through a certain process, either at a fast or slow tempo. This retribution is conveyed through various systematically arranged instruments, such as angels, humans, natural phenomena, or other events that appear natural.

Interpretation of Verses About Education

Islamic education integrates the acquisition of knowledge with the development of character in accordance with religious teachings. Allah SWT's command to seek knowledge, as revealed in Surah Al-Alaq, emphasizes both worldly and spiritual knowledge. Islamic education is a lifelong obligation for all Muslims, regardless of age or gender, and must be applied in daily life to benefit individuals and society. This paper utilizes Library Research methodology, reviewing tafsir books and relevant literature to explore Islamic education from the Quranic perspective. Knowledge, both religious and secular, is valued in Islam, with scholars being regarded as the inheritors of the prophets. Islamic education is holistic, encompassing physical, mental, and spiritual development, and aims not only to educate but also to cultivate good character. Therefore, students are encouraged to pursue and apply knowledge earnestly in their lives.

The Interpretation of Tsamanan Qalīlan in the Qur'an (A Thematic Study)

This research is motivated by the author's interest in the frequent use of the phrase Tsamanan Qalīlan in the Qur'an. The phrase Tsamanan Qalīlan appears at least 10 times in the Qur'an, although there are 9 verses with similar meanings. Furthermore, the phrase occurs in different surahs. Tsamanan Qalīlan means "a cheap price." Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore its interpretation in the Qur'an. This research uses a qualitative method with a library research approach. The primary sources in this study are various tafsir (interpretation) books, while secondary sources include books, articles, and scholarly writings related to the research. The analysis in this study employs content analysis. Based on the Qur'anic dictionary Mu'jam Mufahras li Alfazil Qur'an, the author found five sub-themes grouped from various verses in different surahs in the Qur'an. One of these themes is related to personal integrity, which is composed of 3 verses found in Surah Ali 'Imran and Surah An-Nahl. Another theme concerns the misinterpretation of verses, consisting of 2 verses from Surah Al-Baqarah and Surah At-Tawbah. The third theme is related to the encouragement to believe, which appears in 2 verses from Surah Al-Baqarah and Surah Ali 'Imran. The fourth theme discusses the concealment of the truth, which can be found in Surah Al-Baqarah. Finally, the fifth theme pertains to adhering to the laws given by Allah, found in Surah Al-Maidah.

The Relationship of Husband and Wife in Qs. Al-Nisa' Ayat 34 Perspective of Ibnu 'Ashur and Wahbah Al-Zuhaily

Surah Al-Nisa' verse 34 contains an explanation of husband and wife in household life, but household life that should be sakinah, mawaddah wa rahmah is difficult to achieve because of the lack of balance between husband and wife in carrying out their respective rights and obligations, which causes problems in the household. This study was conducted to describe the views of Ibn 'Ashur and Wahbah Al-Zuhaily regarding the relationship between husband and wife in the interpretation of QS. Al-Nisa' verse 34 using the library method and comparing two contemporary tafsir books, namely Tafsir al-Tahrir wa al-Tanwir and Tafsir al-Munir. The interpretations of Ibn 'Ashur and Wahbah Al-Zuhaily have the same view regarding the Relationship between Husband and Wife in QS. Al-Nisa' verse 34, namely that men as husbands become leaders, protectors, and educators for their wives and carry out their rights and obligations well, such as in terms of providing a living and protection. It's just that Ibn 'Ashur's interpretation is more patriarchal and Wahbah Al-Zuhaily's interpretation is more gender-just. And women as wives are required to carry out their rights and obligations well, namely by becoming a wife who is pious, faithful and hafizah lil Ghaib

Babyblues Syndrome in the Quran: A Contextual Analysis of Surah Maryam Verses 21-30

Baby blues, also known as postpartum blues, is a temporary mood disorder that can affect new mothers. This syndrome experienced by these women can occur due to many factors, internal and external. This research looks at the phenomenon of Baby blues syndrome experienced by Maryam in Surah Maryam 21-30. The method applied in this research is the thematic method for certain letters using Abdullah Saeed's Contextual Tafsir theory. The research sources are the Al-Qur'an and Tafsir Books, in this case, the research object is Surah Maryam verses 21-30. The results of the research are: identification of the world of the text shows that Maryam's letter fell into patriarchal social conditions; the structure of the text in this letter coherently describes the process of Maryam's pregnancy until she gave birth to Isa amidst the ridicule of the children of Israel; Recipients of revelation viewed the text during the time of the prophet Muhammad who already knew Isa with a different concept; The contextual interpretation of Maryam's letter 21-30 is the phenomenon of Baby blues syndrome experienced by Maryam; Maryam's support system in giving birth to Isa as prevention of baby blues; Nutrition for pregnant women, and external pressure and how to overcome it as an effort to avoid baby blues syndrome.

Perbedaan Karakteristik Makiyah dan Madaniah dalam Perspektif Komunikasi antarbudaya

This research examines the role of intercultural communication in understanding the context of Qur'anic revelation in the Makkah and Madinah periods. The aim is to analyze the differences in the characteristics of Makiyah and Madaniah verses and the influence of the socio-cultural context on communication patterns and the delivery of revelation. This research uses a literature study research design with a qualitative approach. The research data is in the form of secondary data obtained through data collection techniques using documentation studies from various sources such as tafsir books, Qur'anic literature, and intercultural communication theories. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis and hermeneutic interpretation techniques. The results showed that communication in the Makkah period used a strong and brief language style according to the context of Arab society, while the Medina period was more detailed and explicit. Differences in the socio-cultural context influenced communication strategies, where Makkah focused on strengthening the faith, while Medina on the formation of social systems. Communication channels evolved from oral dominance in Makkah to a combination of oral and written in Medina. This research proves that intercultural communication theory can be used as an analytical framework to understand the dynamics of Qur'anic revelation. This understanding is important for developing contemporary da'wah methods that are adaptive to cultural diversity.

Economic Welfare on Justice, Faith And Blessing Based on The Qur'anic Perspective

This research discusses the relationship between faith, justice, and blessings in achieving economic welfare from an Islamic perspective. Using the conceptual study method, this research relies on primary sources in the form of tafsir books by Rafiq Yunus Almasri, Muhammad Ghazali, Johan Efendi, and Quraish Shihab, as well as secondary sources from articles discussing economic welfare from an Islamic perspective. The analysis results show that faith serves as a spiritual foundation that encourages the application of justice principles in economic transactions, while blessings reinforce the success of achieving sustainable prosperity. Additionally, applying Islamic principles in daily life has proven important for creating sustainable social and economic justice. This research also found hope in raising awareness among Muslims about the importance of justice, faith, and blessings in the context of the modern economy to drive positive change and strengthen the overall quality of life in society. Thus, integrating Islamic teachings into the economy is expected to create a prosperous and just society.

Analysis Of Al-Aṣīl And Al-Dakhil Interpretation Of The Story Of Prophet Solomon's Trial QS. Ṣād In Tafsir Al-Ṭabarī

Tafsir Ja>mi' al-Baya>n 'an Takwi>l Al-Qur’a>n by Ibn Jari>r al-T}abari> is a bi al-ma'thu>r tafsir book that is often used as a reference by other bi al-ma'thu>r tafsir books. But in his interpretation, al-T}abari> uses a lot of isra>i>li>yya>>>t history. In fact, not all isra>i>liyya>>t history can be accepted and used as a reference. History of isra>i>li>yya>>>t that contradicts religious law is rejected as a reference in interpreting the Qur'an. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the infiltration contained in al-T}abari's interpretation of the story of the test of Prophet Solomon in QS. This research method uses a descriptive-analytical approach with the theory of al-as}i>l wa al-dakhi>l. The results of this study indicate the infiltration (dakhi>l) carried out by al-T}abari>> when interpreting surah Sa>d 34. In his interpretation, he cites isra>i>li>yya>>>t history which states that the test of Prophet Solomon is that Satan has taken the ring which is the source of Prophet Solomon's strength and changed himself to resemble Prophet Solomon. This narration clearly contradicts Islamic shari'a because it is impossible for Satan to resemble the form of the Prophet who is an awake human being or ma's}u>m.

TARAJJI DAN TAMANNI DALAM SAFWAH AL-TAFASIR

The objective of this research is to identify the terms "tarajji" and "tamanni" in the tafsir book "Safwah al-Tafasir" by Muhammad Aly al-Sabuni.Data collection was conducted by gathering data from the Quran and the opinions of tafsir scholars on tarajji and tamanni using a tafsir and linguistic approach. The data processing and analysis methods employed were descriptive and inductive.The research findings indicate that tarajji and tamanni are distinguished based on their wording and meaning. In terms of lafaz, tarajji is primarily expressed using the word "la'al" and occasionally with the word "'asa." The word "la'al" and its derivatives appear 129 times, while "'asa" and its derivatives appear 30 times.Tamanni, on the other hand, is expressed using the words "lait" and occasionally "law," "hal," and "ʾala." The word "lait" appears 14 times in the Quran, "law" appears 197 times, and "hal" appears 93 times. Keywords: Tarajji, Tamanni, Safwah al-Tafasir

KONSEP TABAYYUN DALAM AL-QURAN ANALISIS TERHADAP FENOMENA PENYEBARAN HOAX DI MEDIA SOSIAL

This study examines the concept of tabayyun in the Quran and its importance in relation to the rampant phenomenon of spreading hoaxes on social media. The issue of hoaxes has emerged as a significant threat to social stability and interfaith harmony in the digital era. This research uses a qualitative methodology with a thematic interpretation approach, this research analyzes the verses of the Quran with a special focus on the sixth verse of Surah Al-Hujurat. Data collection is done through literature review by examining books of tafsir, and contemporary sources on social media. The results of this study show that: (1) The Quran has established a comprehensive framework for information verification through the concept of tabayyun, (2) The application of tabayyun in the digital era requires source verification, content analysis, and impact assessment; (3) There is a strong relevance between the concept of tabayyun and efforts to counter fake news, This study concludes that the concept of tabayyun in the Quran presents a solution to overcome the problem of fake news (hoax) on social media.

Educative Value In The Qur'an: A Study Of Surah Al-Ikhlaṣ, Alfalaq And Al-Nās

Modern education faces significant spiritual and moral challenges amid technological developments and globalization. The values of monotheism (monotheism) and humanity (insaniyah) in the Qur'an offer solutions to build individuals who are not only intellectually intelligent but also have strong character and spirituality. This research aims to explore the educational values in Surah Al-Ikhlaṣ, Al-Falaq, and Al-Nās and their relevance in the development of modern education. This study uses a qualitative approach with literature study methods and text analysis through tafsir tahlili. Data is obtained from primary sources, namely the Qur'an, and secondary sources, such as tafsir books, journals, and other related literature. The analysis process involves identifying key themes such as monotheism, protection from evil, and dependence on God. The results of the study show that Surah Al-Ikhlaṣ emphasizes monotheistic values such as recognition of the oneness of Allah and human dependence on Him, Surah Al-Falaq highlights protection from innate and inner evil, while Surah Al-Nās teaches the importance of asking Allah for protection from the evil whispers of humans and jinn. These values are relevant to building individual characters who are sturdy, tolerant, and caring for the social environment. The implications of this research include the integration of monotheistic and human values in the modern education curriculum through a character-based approach, collaborative learning, and social activities that foster empathy and solidarity.

Torch War Tradition in Jepara District, Central Java (The Study of Living Quran Q.S. Al-Baqarah 152)

This study aims to understand more deeply the meaning of the torch war tradition in Tegal Sambi Village, Tahunan Subdistrict, Jepara Regency in the perspective of Q.S. Al-Baqarah/2: 152. The method of study is a qualitative through a phenomenological approach, the data of this study are obtained from observations, interviews, documentation, journal articles, books, tafsir books, and similar literature to explain the history of the Torch War tradition. The results of this study found that the symbolic meaning of the torch war is closely related to gratitude for the gifts of Allah SWT, in the form of crops and the sea. The local community connects this tradition with the content of Q.S. Al-Baqarah/2: 152, which shows the harmony between cultural practices and the Qur'an. In the torch war there are several symbols, the symbol of fire is interpreted as a cleanser of negative energy. The light of the torch as a symbol of illuminating the darkness with knowledge. The hard and dry coconut fronds symbolize strength and resilience. Dry banana leaves that are flammable and produce thick smoke symbolize fertility and purity. The relevance of the torch war culture with Q.S. Al-Baqarah/2:152 is that the torch war reflects human efforts to get closer to Allah, be grateful for His blessings, and cleanse themselves of all impurities of the heart.

The Impact of Mufassir's Beliefs on the Interpretation of the Qur'an: Analysis of the Conception of Istiwa', Kalam, and Ru'yatullah in Tafsir Al-Kasysyaf by Imam Al-Zamakhsyari

The discussion of belief in Islam is an integral part of the Qur'an. Examining the interpretation of verses that talk about Islamic beliefs is a method of gaining a proper understanding of those beliefs. However, the religious background of a person interpreting the text will greatly influence his interpretation of verses that discuss Islamic beliefs. Therefore, it is important to choose a book of tafsir written by mufassir who has a valid belief background. This study examines Imam al-Zamakhshari's interpretation of the nature of istiwa, kalam, and ru'yatullah and the impact of the beliefs held by him on the results of his interpretation. Imam al-Zamakhshari, who had Mu'tazilite beliefs, was the subject of research. Al-Kasysyaf, a work of lugawi exegesis compiled by Imam al-Zamakhshari, was the focus of this study. The purpose of this study is to understand Imam al-Zamakhshari's interpretation of the nature of istiwa', kalam, and ru'yatullah and identify the influence of Mu'tazilite beliefs on the results of the interpretation produced by Imam al-Zamakhshari. This research is a study of characters. The conclusion of this study is as follows: First, Imam al-Zamakhshari interprets the nature of istiwa' as power or istawla, as well as istila'. Regarding the nature of Allah's kalam, Imam al-Zamakhshari explained that Allah speaks by creating these words. Regarding ru'yatullah, Imam al-Zamakhshari interprets the word "ziyadah" in Surah Yunus verse 26 as an additional reward that is a gift from Allah, and interprets the word "nazhirah" in Surah Al-Qiyamah verse 23 as hope and anticipation of favor from Allah. Secondly, the beliefs held by Imam al-Zamakhshari caused him to reject or deny these three qualities in his interpretation.

BUYING AND SELLING FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE QURAN AND HADITH

Buying and selling in Islam is not only an economic transaction, but also has a spiritual and ethical dimension that distinguishes it from other economic systems. This study aims to examine the interpretation of verses and hadith ahkam on buying and selling, to understand the principles and ethics underlying economic transactions in Islam. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The primary data sources are the Qur'an and hadith, while secondary data sources include tafsir books, hadith explanations, fiqh books, and relevant journal articles. The results of the study indicate that buying and selling in Islam must be based on principles such as willingness, justice, honesty, and transparency. In addition, there are ethics that must be considered, such as avoiding usury, gharar (uncertainty), and fraud. This study is expected to provide a better understanding of buying and selling in Islam, so that Muslims can carry out their economic activities in accordance with religious guidance and achieve blessings in every transaction.

The Relevance Of Da'wah Psychology In Q.S. Thaha: 43-44 In The Modern Era

The psychology of da'wah as one part of Islamic psychology plays an important role in providing the effectiveness of da'I in spreading Islam. Allah has sent messengers to preach and provide methods that should be emulated by their successors, namely da'i. one of them Q.S. Thaha: 43-44 which tells the story of prophets Musa and Harun who were sent to warn Fir'aun who had exceeded the limit. This article describes the relevance of the psychology of da'wah contained in the verse. This research uses a qualitative method by examining literature reviews and tafsir books that discuss the verse. This research produces a conclusion that the qaulan layyina da'wah method that contains psychological elements is still very relevant in this modern era. This method will also remain relevant over time, because realistically all humans accept peace and reject violence.

Konsep Tarbiyah, Ta’lim, dan Tadris dalam Al-Qur’an

The problem in this research is the discovery of errors in interpreting the concepts of tarbiyah, ta'lim and tadris in the world of education. The Al-Quran explains the many meanings of these tarbiyah, ta'lim and tadris. The aim of this research is to discuss the meaning of the concepts of tarbiyah, ta'lim and tadris contained in the Al-Qur'an in order to provide a very relevant understanding. The theories used are the concepts of tarbiyah, ta'lim and tadris. Data collection for this research used qualitative methods which were carried out by means of literature studies taken from several tafsir books, journals and other sources relevant to the topic. The results of this research are that the tarbiyah concept is aimed at an educator to teach step by step following one process after another. This concept term is often used in the world of undergraduate education. The concept of ta'lim itself tends to provide knowledge at an adult level or in other terms, knowledge transfer. The Tufan Nuh in Surah Al-Ankabut Perspective of Syeikh Tantawi Jauhari's Scientific Interpretation

The Qur'an is a book of guidance for science, modern science, law, wisdom, truth, justice, aqidah, and morality that has been applied to straighten out human actions as a way of salvation in the world hereafter. How to understand the Qur'an is by the method of tafsir, which has been written by many mufassir, one of which is tafsir ilmi. The purpose of this study is to describe the great flood at the time of Nuh from the perspective of scientific explanation of Sheikh Tantawijauhari, the primary source of his tafsir book entitled Al-Jawahir fi Tafsir Al-Qur'an Al-Karim. This research uses a library research method with a descriptive analysis approach. The data collection method used is documentation. The result of the study is Tufan Nuh in Surah Al'-Ankabut referred to as tasliyah the sadness of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, steadfastness in preaching tawhid, filling the age of human life with mujahadah, Allah saves believers and punishes those who disbelieve, the loss of several continents and the extinction of several species of animals on earth. So it will be revealed that the great flood turned out to have extraordinary wisdom for humans.

ANALYTICAL STUDY THE METHOD OF DAKWA IN AN-NAHL 125-128 IN THE TESTAMENT OF MA’ALIM AL-TANZIL BY IMAM AlL-BAGHAWY

Da'wah is in principle an effort by someone to convey the teachings of Islam to others, both those who already believe in the truth of Islam, and those who do not have faith in the truth of Islam, both to individuals and groups. The purpose of this study is to find out how the tafsir Ma'alim Al-Tanzil analyzes Qs An-nahl verses 125-128 in the frame of the da'wah method and also to find out how the concept of the da'wah method in Qs An-nahl 125-128. This research is a literature study research. The sources of data used are primary and secondary data from the Qur'an and the book of tafsir Ma'alimu An-Tanzil by Imam Al-Baghawy, as well as previous data collected and reported by people outside the researcher and obtained from libraries, journals, articles and books related to the problem studied. The data will then be analyzed using the Tahlily method. The conclusion of the analytical study of the da'wah method in QS An-nahl verses 125-128 in the tafsir ma'alim al-manzil by Imam Al-Baghawy explains how to preach using the wisdom method based on the Qur'an wisely, then with the matzoh Hashanah method in the form of good advice, and with the method of yujadilu bill hiya ahsan, which is to argue in a good way without persecute who are opposed to debate. Then it is explained how to reward the actions of others without exaggerating them.

Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan Karakter Menurut K.H. Bisri Mustofa Dalam Tafsir Al-Ibriz

This study aims to analyze KH Bisri Mustofa's thoughts on character education values and assess the relevance of his ideas in Indonesia. The research methodology employed is library research, specifically a descriptive approach. The primary source of data for this study is KH Bisri Mustofa's book, Tafsir Al-Ibriz. Data collection techniques include documentation and interviews, with data analysis using triangulation. The research findings present the values of character education according to KH. Bisri Mustofa in the Ibiz Tafsir Book, which include nationalism, tolerance, justice, honesty, love of knowledge, anti-corruption, and character education. Bisri Musthofa's relevance in Indonesia persists due to its emphasis on nationalism and tolerance. The character of nationalism is crucial for Indonesia to avoid division, given its long history of struggle for independence. Additionally, fostering a society that respects and appreciates progress through tolerance can lead to a peaceful and harmonious life. A society that values honesty will be closer, and a society that prioritizes science will become educated and advanced. Anti-money politics is an important character value, especially during elections, which can be problematic for democracy. A fair and dignified election process with an anti-money politics character can prevent fraudulent violations. All of these values are still relevant and can help address the decline of commendable character in society.
