Introduction. The steady increase in scientific information, the growth of the social role of the individual and the intellectualization of his work, the rapid change in military technology and technology require constant development, modernization of military education, bringing its condition and capabilities into line with the socio-economic needs of the developing society. This, first of all, concerns the provision of a qualitatively new level of educational process in military education institutions, which is carried out in the corresponding pedagogical systems of the basic functional subsystems of any system of education. An important component of such systems is the computer-based learning environment and electronic media that it forms, as well as information technology education, which reflect and provide the introduction of modern teaching methods in educational practice.Purpose. The purpose of the paper is to answer some of the important theoretical and practical questions of their solution, namely: 1. What do we mean by electronic means and their collections, what is their place and what role they play in the modern educational process? 2. In what educational and educational environment electronic means are used, what we mean by computer-oriented learning environment, how these categories are interrelated and what role in them is determined by electronic means.Methods. The research was conducted using the following theoretical methods: analysis and synthesis, generalization and systematization; modeling.Results. The results of the study indicate that the skillful use of modern electronic means and information technology training in the educational process of educational institutions of military education creates a multifunctional computer-oriented learning environment. The only educational space provides the normalization and standardization of the creation of information educational resources, the expansion of scale and unification of their application in educational practice.Originality. From the point of view of the system approach (task), a multidimensional problem such as the creation of electronic facilities and a computer-based learning environment of modern pedagogical systems and scientific and practical approaches to their creation and development at the stage of modernization of Ukraine's military education are considered.Conclusion. Within the framework of this article, we have tried in a variety of ways and, in many ways, from our own point of view to consider this multidimensional problem, to indicate the level of our understanding. At the same time, a wide range of issues related to this problem would not allow to comprehensively highlight such an issue of today for the military education of Ukraine and the complex problem as the creation of electronic means and a computer-based learning environment of modern pedagogical systems, scientific and practical approaches to their creation and development at the stage of modernization of Ukrainian military education. The prospect of further development of this problem is the question of the formation of the composition and structure of the computer-based learning environment both on the level of scientific research, and on the level of practical implementation.
