从师范出发: 论普通高中多语种教师培养的必要性

Foreign language education in ordinary high schools is an important part of China’s foreign language education ecosystem and also the cornerstone of higher foreign language education in China. Since the new century, foreign language education in high schools in China has gradually become more diversified. In addition, with the increasing scale of Chinese middle school students studying abroad, it has led to significant development in multilingual education such as Japanese, Russian, French, German, Spanish, and Korean during the high school stage. As a result, the demand for multilingual teacher teams in high school is also increasing year by year, but at present, the construction of multilingual teacher education systems in China's normal universities cannot keep up with the call of the basic education industry in the future. This article believes that in cultivating multilingual teaching talents for secondary schools, normal universities should fully leverage the exemplary role of teacher training and strive to provide more excellent multilingual teaching talents for basic education.

Digitalization of all sectors, especially economic sectors, in the country makes it possible to take leading positions on the world stage, as well as improve the quality of life of citizens and create favorable conditions for the development of entrepreneurship. A dynamically developing tourism business with large incomes in the economic sphere is also engaged in digitalization. The mass introduction of digital technologies will give impetus to the development of traditional basic industries by improving the quality of services, increasing their competitiveness, including on the international market. Thus, as a result of digitalization, the provision of top-level services in the tourism sector will be ensured, which, in turn, will lead to a positive formation of the country's tourist image and capital growth. Digitalization of the tourism business optimizes the problem, although it does not solve all the problems. For example, in the field of tourism, if information is provided without correct statistical calculations, then state support measures will also not be directly adjusted. And with the help of digitization, many adjustments and deviations in information can be avoided.

Pengaruh Rasio Aktivitas, Profitabilitas, Struktur Modal, Komite Audit, Dan Ukuran Perusahan Terhadap Pengungkapan Sustainability Report

Finding out how factors like activity ratio, profitability, capital structure, audit committee, and business size affect disclosure in sustainability reports is the main goal of this research. The research relied on quantitative data, namely those extracted from the annual report and sustainability report for disclosure purposes. The secondary data included in this study originated from the official corporate website, which can be found at www.idx.co.id. The sample for the research consisted of 128 manufacturing businesses that were listed on the IDX in the basic and chemical industries between 2020 and 2022. The sampling approach yielded a sample of fourteen companies by means of purposive sampling. The study's methodology makes use of causality design, multiple linear regression analysis, and the application capabilities of SPSS 29. The findings demonstrated that the basic and chemical industrial sectors' sustainability reports were simultaneously impacted by the activity ratio, profitability, capital structure, audit committee, and business size. The sustainability report is not significantly impacted by the activity ratio, profitability, or capital structure. The sustainability report is impacted by the audit committee. Sustainability reports are not impacted by a company's size.

The Effect of Financial Ratios on Stock Prices

This study aims to provide empirical evidence on the impact of fundamental factors on stock prices. The factors identified in this study include the current ratio, return on assets, debt to equity ratio, earning per share, and price earnings ratio. The study was conducted on 20 manufacturing companies in the basic industry and chemical sector listed on the Indonesia stock exchange during 2019-2021. The purposive sampling method was used to select the sample. The multiple regression model was employed as a statistical testing tool. The study found that return on assets and earning per share have a significant and positive impact on stock prices, consistent with the hypothesis. However, the current ratio, debt Equity ratio, and price earnings ratio do not significantly impact stock prices.

In accordance with the strategic planning documents of the Russian gas industry, the development of the Yamal and Gydan oil and gas bearing regions is one of the priority tasks, as they are associated with the formation of a strategic reserve of gas resources and the creation of new gas production centers. The article analyses the spatial distribution of natural gas reserves in the oil and gas bearing areas of the Arctic region and concludes that the distribution of free gas resources is uneven both by section and by area. Some oil and gas bearing areas are characterized by a weak degree of geological and geophysical study. Depletion of the base fields in the Pur-Taz and Nadym-Pur oil and gas bearing areas raises the question of shifting the raw material base of the gas industry to the hard-to-reach areas of Yamal and Gydan, including the waters of the Kara Sea, the Ob, Taz and Gydan Bays. The paper provides a quantitative assessment of the level of commercial gas content of the Yamal and Gydan oil and gas bearing areas, including in the context of oil and gas bearing regions. It was determined that based on the technology of field development, processing and transportation scheme when assessing the prospects of development and options for monetization of gas resources, a zone of pipeline transport and a zone of liquefied natural gas are distinguished. Taking into account the current economic conjuncture of Arctic natural gas reserves development, it is reasonable and promising at this point in time to expand the resource base by developing satellite fields in Yamal and Gydan oil and gas bearing regions, which already have developed production, processing, transport and social infrastructure, as well as through additional exploration of discovered and developed fields and deposits.

Политика Республики Корея в полярных регионах в 2023–2033 гг.

This article reviews the current state of the Arctic policy of the Republic of Korea, which, like other states, has increased interest in the Arctic region in recent years, as well as its plan of activities in the Arctic and Antarctic for the coming years. The Republic of Korea needs to gradually develop an Arctic strategy at the government level to promote national interests in the Arctic region. The scientific significance of the article is related to the translation into Russian and analysis of the “Polar Activities Promotion Act for 20232027”, published in February 2023 by the Korean Institute of Marine Science & Technology Promo-tion. The article discusses the content and timing of the country’s 3 main polar policies: research and dis-covery, climate change forecasting, and polar development. In addition, 5 main strategies for promoting the Republic of Korea in the polar region are discussed, including: expanding the area of research of the territory, developing plans to solve environmental and climate problems, creating a polar industrial base, creating a network of cooperation with foreign countries and between industrial and scientific organiza-tions within the country, developing an interstate dialogue on polar activities.

The Importance of the Development of Industry in Romania and Its Development Potential

The first part of the study details the importance of industry in the economy in general, but it is worth nothing without continuous technological development. This is supported by classical and unquestionable theories, followed by statistical data and macroeconomic indicators to demonstrate their practical relevance. The realistic data will clearly show that countries with a strong industrial base and a strong focus on development in their economic structure will have a steady advantage over other countries on the international stage. The structure of the industry in Romania, its main areas, and the industrial characteristics of the regions will then be presented, as well as the economic differences between industrialised and less industrialised areas. The study shows that industry and R&D are the basis for economic growth and development, as they are also the basis for services. Romania is in a very special situation, as it has all the potential and resources to build and develop the industry, but the mentality of the past system still leaves its mark on how to exploit its potential. Of course, industry and its development require a considerable amount of capital, knowledge, and know-how. For this, European Union funds offer considerable opportunities, and the operational programmes that provide this type of support, both to the private sector and to public institutions, are presented in detail. At the end of the study, it will be clear what industry and R&D mean for economic growth, what the situation and characteristics of the Romanian industry are, and what financial resources are available for the implementation and development of industrial activities.

Unraveling the binding mechanism between soybean protein isolate and selected bioactive compounds

The present study was aimed to investigate the interactions between soybean protein isolate (SPI) with resveratrol (RESV) and lutein (LUT). The binding forces, molecular interactions and functional properties were explored by multi-spectroscopic analysis, molecular docking and functional property indexes between SPI and RESV/LUT. The RESV/LUT quenched SPI chromophore residues with static mechanism and the endothermic reaction. The SPI- RESV/LUT complexes were formed through hydrogen bond, electrostatic and hydrophobic interactions. Molecular docking confirmed van-der-Waals force as one of the important forces. The interaction of RESV/LUT led to SPI's secondary structure alterations with a decrease in α-helix and random coil and an increase in β-sheet and β-turns. RESV/LUT developed foaming and emulsifying properties of SPI and showed a significant decrease of the surface hydrophobicity with RESV/LUT concentrations increase attributed to SPI's partial unfolding. Our study exposed molecular mechanisms and confirmations to understand the interactions in protein- RESV/LUT complexes for protein industrial base promotion.

Does an Energy Company’s Sensitivity Affect its Performance?: Environmental, Social and Governance Analysis in Coal, Gas, Oil, and Basic Materials Industry Companies

This study aims to investigate the relationship between the types of energy companies, namely coal, gas and oil, and their performance levels. In addition, the influence of companies that have high sensitivity to the environment on company performance is also tested. Several important variables were also tested such as social activities, governance, as well as the type of energy company, namely coal, gas and oil. The research was conducted on energy companies and basic material industries listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2021. The method used is multiple regression analysis with a data sample of 154 observations. Four models are used in measuring financial performance, namely ROA, ROE, NPM, and new reduced variables. It was found that environmental activities do not affect performance, including in companies that have high sensitivity. Likewise, social activities and corporate governance proxied by female directors, intensity of board meetings, and board education have no significant effect. On the other hand, liquidity has a positive effect on ROA, DER has a negative effect on ROE and performance reduction results. A unique finding shows that only coal companies have a positive relationship with the performance of companies in the energy sector.

Analysis on Operation and Water Quality Characteristics of Centralized Wastewater Treatment Plants of Industrial Parks in Yellow River Basin, China

The Yellow River basin serves as an important economic belt and industrial base in China, featuring numerous industrial parks. However, alongside its economic significance, the basin struggles with significant water environmental challenges. This study analyzed the operational status, influent water quality, and energy consumption of 63 centralized wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) from 54 major industrial parks in the Yellow River basin. The scale of these WWTPs was primarily within the range of 1 × 104~5 × 104 m3/d, with an average hydraulic loading rate of 53.8%. Aerobic treatment processes are predominant. The influent concentrations of chemical oxygen demand (COD), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N), total nitrogen (TN), and total phosphorus (TP) in the WWTPs exhibited a right-skewed distribution. The BOD/COD ratio of the WWTPs fluctuated between 0.1 and 1.6, and 75% of the WWTPs showed a COD/TN ratio lower than eight. The average BOD5/TN was 2.7, and the probability of influent BOD5/TP > 20 was 84.6%. A significant linear correlation exists between the influent BOD and COD concentrations, while moderate linear relationships are also observed among NH3-N, TN and TP, emphasizing the importance of maintaining appropriate nitrogen and phosphorus levels for efficient pollutant removal. The average electricity consumption of WWTPs in the Yellow River basin in 2023 was 1.1 kWh/m3. It is important to upgrade these WWTPs and reduce their energy consumption. Further strengthening the construction of industrial wastewater collection and treatment facilities based on regional characteristics is recommended to promote the high-quality development of industrial wastewater treatment in the Yellow River basin.

Can policy advantages be transformed into industrial advantages? Evidences from digital economy industry development in Zhejiang Province, China.

The digital economy is a new impetus to promote high-quality economic development. We use the policies of Zhejiang Information Economy Development Demonstration Base (IEDD) and Zhejiang Software and Information Service Industry Base (SISI) established between 2015 and 2017 to design a quasi-natural experiment. By using a panel data from 2005 to 2020 in Zhejiang and the difference-in-differences model, we test the impacts of IEDD and SISI policies on digital economy development. We find that there are significant spatial differences for digital economy in Zhejiang. IEDD and SISI policies improve the digital economy development, that is, the policy advantages can indeed be transformed into industrial advantages. The IEDD policy can promote the digital economy industry development by enhancing the digital infrastructure and financial development; SISI policy can promote the development of the digital economy industry by promoting financial development. The results of quantile regression show that the promotion effect of IEDD and SISI policies increases with the improvement of the industrial basis of regional digital economy. The results of group regression show that the IEDD policy promotes the digital economy development in counties and county-level cities of Zhejiang, and the SISI policy plays a significant role in municipal districts.

Visualization for a new era: Impact and application of large language models and AIGC to traditional business models

<p>This paper focuses on the application and business value of large-scale language models, such as GPT and Ernie’s model. These models combined with AIGC tools like stable diffusion generate images with fixed styles, character traits, and continuous plots using randomized story scripts. As a result, it enhances the operational efficiency between or within industries widely, and it fully demonstrate their business value. On the technical side, this paper describes in detail of building a pipeline to generate cue words required for stable diffusion, in which using large-scale language models and story scripts. Subsequently, the limitations of text-to-image are summarized by comparing the traditional method and language model, i.e. comparing characteristics from traditional book production and images generated using language model’s cue words. This leads to a supervised multiround iterative LoRA modeling scheme that utilizes CLIP to achieve character IP fixation. To evaluate the impact of the application direction, we combine application scenarios and researches on application aspects regarding current AIGC industry structure, we found that the AIGC tool has several major aspects, mainly includes the aspects of basic big model, industry and scenario models, business and domain small models, AI infrastructure and AIGC supporting services. big model and AIGC techniques generate images with no specific rules and have less limitation. We call this ‘visualization’ in the new AI era. In this paper, we explore the possible impacts and economic values when changing from traditional domain to the new AI ear.</p>

Appraising the role of energy conservation and emission reduction policy for eco-friendly productivity improvements: An entropy-balancing DID approach

In pursuit of low-carbon and high-quality economic development, the Chinese government has implemented an energy conservation and emission reduction (ECER) policy. It has piloted this policy for three groups of prefecture-level cities since 2011. So far, there is no systematic evidence to demonstrate whether such a strategy can help China achieve a “win-win” situation between energy conservation and environmental protection. To identify the causal effect of the ECER policy on eco-friendly productivity (EFP), we explore variations in the timing of this policy across cities combined with the entropy-balancing method and assemble a balanced panel dataset encompassing China's 283 cities from 2006 to 2017. Empirical findings demonstrate that EFP in the ECER pilot cities had increased by 15.3% on average compared with EFP in non-ECER pilot regions based on the difference-in-differences framework. Notably, the ECER policy generates significant positive spatial spillover effects on surrounding ECER pilot regions. Our channel analysis confirms that the positive effect of the ECER policy is also realized through energy savings, structural effects, and green technological effects. Moreover, the observed effect is significantly heterogeneous regarding geographical locations, resource endowment, whether a city has an old industrial base, and environmental regulation. Finally, several policy implications concerning China's ECER policy and EFP improvement are put forward.

Impacts of digital finance on energy efficiency: does environmental regulation matter?

The paper examines how digital finance affects energy efficiency in China using a dynamic panel model and data from 282 cities between 2011 and 2019. The study is based on the hypothesis which is related with digital finance, environmental regulation, and energy efficiency. The results indicate that: (1) Digital finance significantly improves energy efficiency, and this finding is consistent after several tests; (2) Digital finance has a positive effect on energy efficiency in non-resource-based cities, recession and regeneration resource-based cities, and old industrial base cities, but no significant effect on energy efficiency in growth and maturity resource-based cities and non-old industrial base cities; (3) Environmental regulation positively influences how digital finance affects energy efficiency; (4) The impact of digital finance on energy efficiency depends on the degree and tools of environmental regulation. This research offers valuable insights to local governments in China for promoting financial digitization and enhancing energy efficiency.

Military shipbuilding in the Volga region (XVIII-early XX centuries) in Russian historiography

The article is devoted to the problem of the emergence and development of the industrial base of military shipbuilding in pre-revolutionary Russia in the Volga region. Its purpose is to analyze the work of domestic researchers on this problem, to identify on this basis the features of the shipbuilding industry in the region, to create a complete picture of its formation and development. The study was conducted within the framework of the individual periods proposed by the author, the grounds for which were both fluctuations in Russia's foreign policy in the Caspian Sea region and changes in the technical and technological aspects of shipbuilding itself. Special attention is paid to the emergence and activities of two major centers of Volga shipbuilding – the admiralty in Kazan and Astrakhan, attention is paid to the development of their production infrastructure, as well as their personnel and logistical support. The research uses both general philosophical methods of analysis and ascent from the concrete to the abstract, as well as special historical methods: chronological, periodization and comparative historical. It is revealed that organized state military shipbuilding in the Volga region arose both to implement the goals of Russia's eastern policy and to meet the needs for shipbuilding materials of the fleet being built on the Baltic Sea. The limited foreign policy goals in the Caspian Sea region predetermined the specific appearance of the shipbuilding industry formed in the Volga region. The conclusion is made about the commensurate development of the shipbuilding base in the Volga region to the level of threats to Russia's national security that existed in the Caspian Sea region during the period under study. It is emphasized that a specific feature of the shipbuilding industry's production and logistics infrastructure in the Volga region was its focus on providing strategic materials to other shipbuilding centers in Russia, primarily those working in the interests of the Baltic Fleet. The problems and issues of the history of military shipbuilding in the Volga region that require further study are shown.

The Effect of Liquidity and Capital Intensity on Tax Aggressiveness

Aims: This research aims to determine and analyze the effect of liquidity and capital intensity on tax aggressiveness.
 Study Design: The population in this study are Basic Industry and Chemical sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2020-2022 period, namely 66 companies. The sampling method was purposive sampling. The final sample in this research was 22 companies and the total final sample was 66 samples. The data used is secondary data taken from the financial statements obtained from the Indonesian Stock Exchange.
 Methodology: The data collection method is document analysis. The data analysis method used is quantitative analysis. The analysis techniques in this research are the classical assumption test, determinant coefficient test and Multiple Linear Regression.
 Results: The results of this research show that liquidity influences tax aggressiveness, capital intensity influences tax aggressiveness.
 Conclusion: The research results show that liquidity, capital intensity simultaneously affect tax aggressiveness. liquidity has a positive and significant effect on tax aggressiveness. Meaning that Companies with high liquidity are healthy companies with large tax liabilities so they have a higher potential for aggressive tax action. so does Capital Intensity has a positive and significant effect on Tax Aggressiveness. Meaning that higher fixed asset investment is carried out as a form of reducing profits and increasing depreciation expenses, thereby reducing the tax burden

Construction of coordination evaluation system of Economy-Tourism-Ecological environment coupling based on entropy method——Taking three cities in the Dongting Lake Eco-economic Zone as an example

Dongting Lake Ecological Economic Zone is an emerging development group, among which Yueyang, Changde, and Yiyang have similarities in climate, environment, history, culture, and basic industries. This paper used the entropy method to construct the evaluation system of the coupling coordination degree of the three indexes of economy, tourism, and ecological environment in Yueyang, Changde, and Yiyang, calculated Yueyang, Changde, and Yiyang’s coupling coordination degree, studied and analyzed the relationship of its three subsystems in 2009, 2012, 2015 and 2018 of Yueyang, Changde and Yiyang, and analyzed their coupling coordination level. The results show: (1) the three major system evaluation indexes were generally on the rise, except for the Yiyang tourism evaluation index, which declined from 2012 to 2015; (2) These three systems’ coupling degrees were maintained at a very high level, and the development correlation is strong; (3) Some of Yiyang's data fluctuated in some years. By 2018, all the cities had reached the verge of imbalance from the extreme imbalance in 2009; The imbalance had greatly improved.

Analysis of the spatiotemporal variation of groundwater storage in Ordos Basin based on GRACE gravity satellite data

Groundwater is the primary source for drinking, agriculture, irrigation, industrial, and municipal uses in Ordos Basin, a regional energy and heavy chemical industrial base in China. In recent decades, groundwater levels in the basin have declined due to climate change and anthropogenic activity. Analyses of the spatiotemporal variation of groundwater storage are crucial to regional sustainability. This study conducts the analysis utilizing GRACE gravity satellite data and GLDAS model data, employing methods that include the generalized three-cornered hat, Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) test, and wavelet analysis to investigate the spatiotemporal variation of groundwater storage in the basin. The analysis results indicate that (1) before 2008, the climate had a significant influence on groundwater storage, with minimal impact from human activities, while after 2008, human activities have caused a noticeable decline in groundwater storage, particularly in the eastern region. (2) The eastern region of the basin experienced a decline in groundwater storage with a rate of −1.86 cm/yr, the middle region with a rate of −1.24 cm/yr, and the western region with a rate of −0.63 cm/yr. The extensive extraction of petroleum, natural gas, coal, and mineral resources in the basin has contributed to this pattern. (3) Human activities have altered the hydrological processes from precipitation infiltration, groundwater propagation, and groundwater distribution, leading to an increasingly complex groundwater system. (4) Human activities affect groundwater in the saturated zone more extensively than in the unsaturated zone. The research findings highlight that human activities are the main factor driving the variation in groundwater storage in the basin and provide crucial scientific evidence for protecting groundwater resources.

Distribution characteristics, source analysis and risk assessment of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in sediments of Kuye River: a river in a typical energy and chemical industry zone.

This study systematically analyzed the distribution characteristics, sources, and ecological risk of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in Kuye River sediments, located in an energy and chemical industry base in northern Shaanxi, China. The results that revealed the concentrations of 16 PAHs in the sediment ranged from 1090.04 to 32,175.68ng∙g-1dw, with the four-ring PAHs accounting for the highest proportion. Positive matrix factorization analysis (PMF) revealed the main sources of PAHs as incomplete fossil fuel combustion, biomass combustion, and traffic emissions. The total toxic equivalent concentration of BaP, risk quotient, and lifetime carcinogenic risk of PAHs suggested moderate to high contamination of PAHs in the area. The higher incremental lifetime carcinogenic risk (ILCR) indicated that PAH ingestion was the primary route of impact on public health, with children potentially being more susceptible to PAH exposure. This study can provide valuable theoretical support for implementing pollution prevention measures and ecological restoration strategies for rivers in energy and chemical industry areas.
