The present article allowed for the analysis and understanding of the Processes of Humanistic Organizational Management. From the hermeneutic application, it was interpreted that companies seek the humanization of organizations by managing for and by people, reconciling the business aspect while assuming responsibility for better performance efficiently. Human management achieves an advantage over competitors by analyzing the internal environment in addition to the external one in order to anticipate events, leading to the conclusion that some companies may be more successful than others. That is why expanding information related to the Processes of Organizational Humanistic Management serves to influence free and intelligent individuals who choose to divide or multiply their talent in service of a project to obtain a flow of liberated talent, given that the company is a zone of coexistence and experiences, where work activity impacts the private lives of the people involved, and of course, also leaves a mark on public life and on the society in which it is immersed.

Theory and practice are two poles of teacher education curriculum, and it seems that more weight is placed on practice in the current paradigm of teacher education which has been accomplished in the course of overcoming modern positivism and technical rationality. In the current teacher education curriculum, attempts are also often made to find ways of connecting practice to theory other than through technical application. This paper tries to explain these attempts with the language of ‘the universal(general)-the particular’, which is further subdivided into the mediation between the general and the particular, and the mediation between the universal and the particular. Some gap necessarily lies between the general and the particular placed together on the same temporal continuum, whereas the universal and the particular are always already vertically mediated. Regarding the mediation between the universal and the particular, it is argued, Gadamer’s hermeneutics deserves careful consideration. In light of his hermeneutics, practice can be seen as the particular situations in which teachers make efforts to let the good of education(the universal) unfold and to realize it, and this hermeneutical application is encouraged in cooperation with theory that sheds light on the good of education. The cultivated and heightened consciousness of teachers is the fruits of the harmoniously structured curriculum of teacher education.

The article analyzes contemporary body horror cinema from 2014 to 2025 as a medium of gnostic knowledge. The subject of the study is the aesthetics of bodily otherness and transgression as mechanisms for the formation of female subjectivity. The research corpus comprises nine films organized into three thematic clusters: motherhood and bodily boundaries (The Babadook, Ich seh Ich seh, Prevenge), the doppelgänger and the dissolution of identity (Raw, Titane, The Substance), and simulation and nomos (Border, The Ugly Stepsister, Gretel & Hansel). The study examines how the visual and narrative strategies of contemporary body horror translate bodily transgression into an affect of recognition — the unveiling of the social order's falsity — how the shift from the "victim-body" to the "knowledge-bearing body" is accomplished, and what new modalities of female action emerge in the transition from the Final Girl of classic slasher cinema to the post-Final Girl of contemporary body horror. The study employs a triaxial methodology synthesizing gnostic hermeneutics as its central analytical framework with psychoanalytic theory (Lacan, Kristeva, Žižek) and feminist horror theory (Creed, Clover, Williams). The scientific novelty lies in the first systematic application of gnostic hermeneutics to the analysis of body horror. The study proposes a model of the "gnostic body" that describes the structural relations between body, knowledge, and subjectivity in contemporary genre cinema. Three states of female gnosis are identified — refusal, authorship, and bodily pleroma — alongside a fourth position: false gnosis, defined as recognition that fails to produce liberation. The concept of the post-Final Girl is introduced to describe a heroine whose agency is grounded not in overcoming an external threat but in integrating bodily otherness. The study demonstrates that body horror occupies a liminal position between postmodernist and metamodernist modes: it deconstructs nomos while simultaneously proposing alternative mythologemes — pleroma, Sophia, gnostic awakening — as a horizon rather than nostalgia. The findings situate body horror within the broader context of gnostic visual culture in the twenty-first century and extend Barbara Creed's concept of the monstrous-feminine as applied to contemporary genre cinema.

The proper place and role of women in political and religious circles remain an ongoing discussion in Nigeria, Africa, and the world at large. The Bible, which should have been a source of hope for women, has been used by many as an instrument to justify the subjection of women to many unthinkable and obnoxious practices, even in Igbo land. Therefore, this paper, "Gender Lessons from 1 Corinthians 11:2-5 for Sustainable Development in Igbo Land," is a careful application of biblical truths to address the issues surrounding sexes and gender roles in Igbo land. The researcher examines the current status of women, drawing upon historical antecedents from biblical records and cultural facts. Furthermore, he adopted an exegetical analysis of the text as the bedrock for his hermeneutical application of the biblical truths inherent in the text. The researcher found that men and women are equal in personhood but different in function. Moreover, the elimination of sexes should be avoided at all costs; anything that would undermine that distinction would amount to a rejection of the creaturely status of humankind. Hence, any departure from that distinction would be displeasing to God. Finally, the failure of women or children in society is traced to husbands or parents as a source of shame or dishonour. If the truths revealed are properly understood and applied, Igbo society will not only grow but will also experience peace and sustainable development.

The development of Qur'anic tafsir research reveals that the interpreting process is becoming increasingly diverse, particularly since social media has emerged as a new platform for the dissemination and production of religious meaning. However, studies that specifically link Paul Ricoeur's hermeneutics to the practice of Qur'an tafsir on social media are still minimal. This emptiness signifies the need for a theoretical framework capable of explaining how the Text of the Qur'an is understood and interpreted in an interactive and rapidly changing digital space. This article aims to fill this gap by analyzing the relevance of the main concepts of Ricoeur's hermeneutics in reading the dynamics Tafsir of the Qur'an on social media. The research uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach, referring to Ricoeur's hermeneutic literature and digital interpretation studies. The analysis was carried out descriptively by connecting the concepts of autonomy of the Text, explanation, understanding, and symbols with the interpretive patterns that develop on digital platforms. The findings of the study suggest that the Ricoeur framework helps explain the changes in interpreting authority, the active engagement of the audience, as well as the process of reinterpretation that arises when texts circulate in digital formats. Theoretically, this study expands the application of Ricoeur's hermeneutics in the study of contemporary interpretation. Practically, this study provides a new understanding of how social media shapes the way people receive and interpret the message of the Qur'an.

This paper presents an attempt to understand the nature of hermeneutics in the Upanishads of the East and in Gadamer's Philosophy of the West. It also examines and explicates the methodological application of hermeneutics in both the tradition of understanding specific meanings and the understanding of them. It is generally noted that the world hermeneutics is derived from the Greek term 'hermeneuein?, which is generally translated as 'interpretation?. [Porter, Robinson, 2011, p.2.] Here, Interpretation can refer to texts, songs, meanings, and so on. In this regard, the main task of hermeneutics is to provide a comprehensive meaning and understanding while making a specific Interpretation. The paper is mainly confined to the question of 1) how we understand hermeneutics as a system of philosophy, 2) the historical background and development of hermeneutics, and 3) the significance of hermeneutics in both the philosophical tradition.

The phenomenon of digital tabarruj has become a pressing social phenomenon in the modern visual era because it reveals the tension between religious piety and online self-expression. Contemporary tafsir studies attempt to address this issue by recontextualizing the prohibition of tabarruj as a moral ethic for digital culture. This research aims to reinterpret QS. Al-Ahzab/33:33 and QS. An-Nur/24:31 through a combination of Tafsir Al-Maraghi and Fazlur Rahman's Double Movement theory, which methodologically allows for a connection between the normative meaning of the text and the current social context. The research method uses a qualitative approach based on literature studies and digital literature. The research findings indicate that the moral principles of the verse, from the context of the Jahiliyyah era to the digital age, emphasize simplicity, honor, and self-control in adornment. The novelty of this study lies in the application of double-movement hermeneutics to articulate the ethics of Muslim women's adornment in digital space, while also offering theoretical implications for the development of contextual interpretation and practical implications for the formation of digital ethics literacy based on Islamic values of modesty.

It is indicated that public administration attracts the attention of scientists from various fields as a complex social activity of government structures that combines legal, economic, managerial and social mechanisms for the high-quality provision of public services and meeting the needs of citizens and territorial communities. The article attempts to analyze the philosophical and legal methodology of researching public administration instruments, namely its epistemological dimension. It is emphasized that the epistemological approach provides a holistic and multidimensional vision of the process of cognizing the instruments of public administration, combining logical-philosophical and empirical methods aimed at identifying the ways, limits, and means of acquiring scientific knowledge about them. The application of dialectical, metaphysical, logical methods, and hermeneutics enables the researcher not only to accumulate factual material and build conceptual generalizations on its basis but also to maintain consistency, semantic accuracy, and the unity of the terminological framework. Attention is drawn to the fact that philosophical methodology plays the role of a theoretical foundation for specifically legal research, since it is precisely philosophy that forms the initial worldview and value guidelines that define the framework of legal analysis. Philosophy outlines the basic criteria of truth and validity of knowledge, without which specifically legal methods would remain applied techniques without proper conceptual support. On this basis, it becomes possible to apply such specifically legal methods as the formal-legal method (analysis of the content of legal norms), the comparative-legal method (comparison of regulatory models in different legal systems), the systemic-structural method (study of instruments within the holistic system of administrative law), the historical-legal method (analysis of the genesis of legal institutions), as well as the method of legal modeling (construction of normative frameworks suitable for improving existing legislation). In conclusion, it is noted that philosophical methodology not only outlines the strategic horizons of cognition but also creates the conceptual foundation for the tactical level of research – specifically legal methods, which in turn ensure the concretization and verification of the formulated provisions in the legal dimension.

This study focuses on reinterpreting the meaning of hadiths on female leadership and the implications of Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd's hermeneutics on contextual hadiths. This study is a qualitative study using library research and Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd's hermeneutics approach. The final results obtained from this study are, first, the interpretation of the Qur'an and hadith as texts cannot only be understood through linguistic analysis, but also the historical context at the time the Qur'an and hadith were revealed because the texts have historical dimensions. Second, Abu Zayd explains that in interpreting texts, a mufassir must be able to explain three main concepts, namely meaning (dalalah), significance (magza), and maksut 'anhu (unspoken dimensions). Third, based on the application of hermeneutics, it is concluded that the meaning of the hadith is that the prohibition is specific to the conditions of society at the time of the Prophet. Its significance affirms that leadership requires capacity, not gender, and that Islam must be understood in the spirit of justice and the benefit of the people. Meanwhile, the implicit purpose of the hadith (maqsūd 'anhu) points to the need for stability and social justice that can be achieved by anyone, male or female, as long as they meet the criteria for leadership.

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has long been dominated by textual and normative approaches, which often limit students ability to understand religious texts in ways that are contextual and relevant to their social realities. This article aims to analyze how a hermeneutical approach can be utilized as a pedagogical strategy to reinterpret religious texts more dynamically and reflectively. This study employs a qualitative method through library research by reviewing the works of contemporary Muslim thinkers and recent research on the application of hermeneutics in Islamic education. The findings indicate that a hermeneutical approach emphasizing dialogue between text, context, and reader enhances students’ comprehension of Islamic values and fosters critical thinking, tolerance, and responsiveness to contemporary challenges. Furthermore, the integration of hermeneutics into the Islamic education curriculum enriches teaching models and strengthens students' reflective capacity. The study concludes that hermeneutics can serve as a methodological alternative for developing Islamic education that is more inclusive, contextual, and meaningful.

This study examines the application of legal hermeneutics in interpreting trademark law, particularly within the context of commercial dispute resolution. The legal issue under scrutiny lies in the inconsistency of judicial interpretations of trademark provisions, which often result in legal uncertainty and perceived injustice for business actors. The objective of this research is to analyze how the legal hermeneutic approach can offer a more contextual and equitable understanding in the interpretation of trademark law, especially in light of the evolving dynamics of modern commercial practices. This research employs a normative legal method, incorporating a hermeneutic approach. Data were collected through a literature review of statutory regulations, court decisions, and relevant academic literature. The hermeneutic framework is used to uncover the substantive meaning of legal norms within their social, economic, and cultural contexts. The novelty of this study lies in its application of legal hermeneutics to trademark disputes in Indonesia—an area that has predominantly been analyzed through textual or positivist lenses. The findings indicate that the hermeneutic approach reveals the teleological dimensions and substantive justice values embedded in trademark law interpretation. This method also contributes to producing judicial decisions that are more responsive to the complexities of business relations and consumer protection. The study recommends that judges and legal practitioners begin adopting a hermeneutic legal approach when handling trademark disputes, as a means to enhance legal legitimacy and ensure a more contextually grounded legal certainty

This study explores the formation and challenges of Village Regulations in three regions: Tabanan, Badung, and Denpasar. It addresses two core objectives: identifying the dynamics of village-level legislation and examining the application of legal hermeneutics in interpreting such regulations. The research combines normative and empirical legal methods, employing a qualitative descriptive analysis through the Statute, Conceptual, and Analytical approaches. The findings reveal persistent issues in the drafting process, particularly inconsistencies with the Ministry of Home Affairs Regulation No. 111 of 2014. These challenges stem from both technical and interpretive shortcomings. The study further emphasizes the importance of hermeneutical interpretation in maintaining normative consistency and avoiding conflicting legal provisions. Additionally, a comparative perspective is offered through an analysis of village governance in Timor-Leste, where village regulations are governed under Law No. 9 of 2016. This research contributes to the discourse on institutional reform and democratic resilience at the village level, highlighting the need for clearer legal frameworks and interpretive consistency in local governance.

Building upon previous research establishing philosophical allegories as frameworks for Open Access ARTICLE HISTORY healing relationships and the application of tzimtzum hermeneutics to patient narratives, this paper synthesizes traditional parabolic discourse with contemporary therapeutic practice through comparative analysis of Kafka, Benjamin, and Rebbe Nachman's parabolic thought. This study extends our prior work on Plato's Cave versus Ramchal's maze metaphors and mystical hermeneutics in medical encounters by examining how classical parabolic traditions provide interpretive frameworks for understanding patients as "living parables." Drawing on established foundations of patient-as-sacred-text methodology and covenantal therapeutic relationships, we demonstrate how traditional mashal structures parallel contemporary hermeneutic approaches to clinical practice. This analysis reveals how parabolic interpretation challenges reductionist biomedicine while offering robust philosophical foundations for integrative healing practice that honors both scientific rigor and spiritual depth.

Asbabun nuzul plays a crucial role in the hermeneutical approaches of Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd and Hasan Hanafi. Qur’anic interpretation, which is inherently dynamic, goes beyond literal meanings by emphasizing contextual relevance in contemporary discourse. For progressive exegetes such as Abu Zayd and Hanafi, asbabun nuzul narratives foster socio-historical awareness that prevents rigid, purely linguistic interpretations. This study employs a comparative qualitative method through library research, drawing on both primary and secondary sources including books, theses, and scholarly articles. The research yields two main findings. First, asbabun nuzul functions as a dynamic hermeneutical instrument. Abu Zayd treats it as a methodological step in interpreting the Qur’anic text, whereas Hanafi employs it as a foundational tool for practical engagement. Second, in reconstructing the understanding of the stages of alcohol (khamr) prohibition, Abu Zayd identifies three legislative phases (tasyri') and positions asbabun nuzul as complementary, filling interpretive gaps between verses. In contrast, Hanafi interprets the three related verses as responses to the evolving social reality of Arab society at the time, using asbabun nuzul as a contextualizing mechanism. This comparison highlights their shared commitment to contextual interpretation while reflecting differing emphases in hermeneutical application.

This research discusses the santri's perception of the hermeneutic principle in teaching the Qur'an and tafsir at Pesantren Al-Hikmah. The main issue raised is how hermeneutics, as a modern interpretation approach, is accepted and understood by santri in a tradition-based pesantren education environment. This study aims to identify santri perceptions, explore the challenges of hermeneutics implementation, and analyse its relevance in the development of pesantren education. The research used a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The research subjects were senior santri, ustaz, and pesantren managers. The results show that the santri's perception of hermeneutics is divided into two: a group that accepts this approach as a relevant innovation to understand the Qur'an contextually, and a group that is sceptical because they are worried about deviations from classical interpretation. In teaching, hermeneutics is used to address contemporary issues such as social and environmental justice, but its implementation faces challenges in the form of ideological resistance, limited literature, and faculty capacity. The discussion shows that hermeneutics can be a bridge between tradition and modernity in Qur'anic interpretation, provided it is applied with a systematic approach and respect for tradition. In conclusion, the integration of hermeneutics in pesantren education has the potential to broaden students' horizons and answer the challenges of globalisation. This research contributes to the development of Islamic education theory, especially in the integration of classical and modern tafsir methods, and becomes the basis for further research on the application of hermeneutics in pesantren.

This report is from an experience of inclusion of a research approach that also allowed for the inclusion of a teaching methodology that is emerging in higher education as a strategy of content assimilation, in addition to seeking a reflection on the proposed activities that also aims to access the a priori pre-logical of the subjects involved in the research as well as those who attended classes. With the intention of studying some authors who advocate the use of the phenomenological-hermeneutic approach, texts that intend a threading of initial ideas to reflect on the application of Phenomenology and Hermeneutics were selected. A course was designed whose framework included classic authors and their latest followers such as Varela, Merleau-Ponty, Goethe, Steiner, Ortiz, Ricoeur, Bicudo and others they refer to in their exposure of ideas. The expected result in the discipline was achieved using the teaching method, while the result of the application of the method in the research is a work in progress with each work that sets out to employ this approach. https://doi.org/10.21723/riaee.v19i00.1948302

Problems in interpreting the concept of the Qur'an have become a significant issue in the discourse of Islamic thought in the modern era. One of the figures who paid great attention to efforts to explore the meaning of the Qur'an is Farid Esack, who used hermeneutic studies as a tool of interpretation. In line with that, this study aims to analyze the study of liberation and justice for women using Farid Esack's hermeneutic thinking. This research uses a qualitative research method with Farid Esack's hermeneutic approach. The results show that the hermeneutics initiated by Farid Esack, namely liberation hermeneutics, uses critical reasoning that places revelation, reality, and interpretation in an interacting relationship. This approach aims to produce interpretations that are oriented towards liberation and justice. The application of Farid Esack's hermeneutics can be seen in his interpretation of women's liberation from oppression and injustice, especially in the context of divorce. One example is the introduction of the concept of iddah as mentioned in the Qur'an surah Al-Baqarah verse 228 and the relevant hadith. Esack explains that a wife is still entitled to receive maintenance from her husband during the iddah period. This concept can be used as a basis for analyzing current conditions through an Islamic hermeneutic approach.
