Rancang Bangun Aplikasi Digital Library Berbasis Web Menggunakan Framework Laravel Pada Desa Tugu Utara

This study develops a web-based digital library application in Desa Tugu Utara using the Laravel framework. The main problem is the inability of the Desa Tugu utara library system to efficiently and modernly manage and provide information. This application provides features such as digital books, online book borrowing and returning, book searching and filtering, interactive education in the form of quizzes, and library management that facilitates admin tasks. The development follows the waterfall method, including Requirements Definition, System and Software Design, Implementation, and Integration and System Testing. Requirements Definition analysis identified 22 main functional requirements. System design uses UML diagrams, such as Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Class Diagrams, and Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERD). The UI/UX design was created with Figma for easy layout and navigation. System testing with blackbox, integration testing, and validation testing ensures all components function well and meet user needs. System Usability Scale (SUS) testing shows excellent usability with an average score of 85.20. Overall, this application achieves the research objectives and shows significant potential in digital library management in Desa Tugu Utara.

Perancangan UI/UX Aplikasi Perpustakaan Digital Berbasis Web dengan Pendekatan Metode Design Thinking

Today's library management increasingly demands quality and professionalism so that the resultscan be utilized to the maximum extent possible by its users. The library on the Dirgantara MarsekalSuryadarma University campus already has a website-based digital library service. This serviceis aimed at students, lecturers and the general public who need book references. However, theservices provided have limitations ranging from performance to user interface appearance. Thisresearch aims to develop a professional digital library at Dirgantara Marshal SuryadarmaUniversity. Designing the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) using the Figmaapplication with a good and intuitive Design Thinking method and can meet the expectations ofthe needs of Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma University library users. Testing using the SingleEase Question (SEQ) method to see the level of effectiveness, efficiency and user satisfaction withthe UI/UX design prototype of the Digital Library Application that will be built. The test resultsshow a value of 6.7 on a scale of 7, indicating that the UI/UX design of the application that hasbeen designed is considered good and in accordance with user needs

GANESHA DIGITAL LIBRARY SEBAGAI INSTITUTIONAL REPOSITORY DI UPT PERPUSTAKAAN INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG (STUDI KASUS INSTITUTIONAL REPOSITORY UPT PERPUSTAKAAN ITB)

The ITB Library uses the Ganesha Digital Library (GDL) application as an institutional repository. The aim of this research is to examine the process of collecting scientific work, the process of organizing scientific work, and examine the process of disseminating scientific work through the GDL application. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, literature study, and triangulation. The results of this research show that based on the Chancellor's Decree regarding the Handover of Scientific Works, the uploading of scientific works is limited to the abstract to fulfill the graduation requirements for ITB academics and library users can only access scientific works in full text at the ITB Library. GDL shows that this system has many features that have not been fully utilized according to the needs of library users and library staff.

Service Quality Analysis of Unej Digital Library Using M-S-QUAL and Importance Performance Analysis Methods

A lot of library services are impacted by the expansion and advancement of information and communication technologies. With this modification, the traditional library services are now entirely digital. To carry out this digitalization, the Unej Digital Library (UnejDigiLib) application was created by the University of Jember's library. The purpose of developing this digital library application was to improve the effectiveness of library services, which were previously hindered by the COVID-19 epidemic. The UnejDigiLib developer has not yet evaluated the quality of its services since the application's release, therefore they are unsure of whether the current services satisfy user needs. Therefore, the goal of this study is to combine Mobile Service Quality (M-S-QUAL) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) in order to assess the UnejDigiLib service's quality based on user perceptions. The M-S-QUAL is used to determine service quality indicators and examine the gap between their performance and importance. After that, the service indications are mapped using the IPA based on their priority level. This study used the following six M-S-QUALl dimensions: compensation, privacy fulfillment, content, system availability, efficiency, and privacy. The findings indicate that user expectations have not been met by the UnejDigiLib service's performance. Meanwhile, the IPA analysis's findings indicate that the following indicators are found in quadrant 1: C3 (completeness of the book collection), C5 (suitability of the book collection with the curriculum lectures), C6 (updates to the book collection), and F3 (speed at which books download). This quadrant's indicators are the primary focus for improvement.

Implementation of Digital Library Applications at SMK Wira Buana 2 Citayem Bogor

Libraries have long been at the heart of the educational environment, playing a vital role in providing the resources necessary for learning and research. However, with the advent of digital technology, traditional libraries have faced new challenges in providing easy and efficient access to educational resources. Therefore, this research aims to investigate the implementation of digital library applications at SMK Wira Buana 2 Citayem as an effort to improve library services and expand access to learning resources for students and teaching staff. This study will describe the process of implementing digital library applications at SMK Wira Buana 2 Citayem, including platform selection, content development, user training, and integration with other supporting systems. The research method used is a combination of literature studies to understand the basic concepts of digital library applications and case studies to analyze ongoing implementation at SMK Wira Buana 2 Citayem. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide a better understanding of the benefits and challenges in implementing digital library applications in secondary education environments. Apart from that, it is hoped that this study will also provide insight for other schools that are considering carrying out digital transformation in their library services.

Perancangan Ulang Tampilan Aplikasi Perpustakaan Digital ISOLOKKAB Berbasis Design Thinking

Redesigning the appearance of the application is the process of redesigning the existing design with the aim of improving the user experience. This is due to the appearance of the application that is still behind compared to other applications. The purpose of this redesign is to produce an improved display that has been redesigned as a recommendation for the development of the iSolokKab digital library application. This redesign was carried out using interview techniques to iSolokKab application users and reviews from users from the Play Store. iSolokKab needs improvement both from the appearance design and features. The method used in this redesign process is the design thinking method. Design thinking is a method that focuses on user complaints and provides suitable solutions to problems experienced by users in the application. Therefore, this method is very suitable for the process of redesigning the appearance of this iSolokKab application, because it can understand user needs. Based on the results of tests that have been carried out on improving the appearance design of the iSolokKab application, it can be said that it is easy to understand by users, judging from the tests conducted on 5 respondents with an average time spent on each task of 9.6 seconds and no click errors. As a result, the process of redesigning this display design is fairly well understood by users because users can complete tasks easily. The redesign of the appearance of the iSolokKab application is expected to be a reference and improve the quality of the performance of the iSolokKab application itself.

Penerapan Layanan Aplikasi Perpustakaan Digital pada Perpustakaan Universitas Negeri Padang

This study aims to describe: (1) achievement of objectives in the implementation of digital library application services at the Padang State University Library; (2) integration in the implementation of digital library application services at the Padang State University Library; (3) adaptation to the application of digital library application services at the Padang State University Library.This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The research instrument used is an interview guideline. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interview, and the documentation. The data analysis are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, dan conclusions. Source triangulation was used to test the validity of the data in this study. The results of this study are as follows. First, the achievement of goals in the implementation of digital library application services at the Padang State University Library has not been maximized, limited membership quotas and the unavailability of applications on non-Android devices cause uneven access for users. Second, the integration of the implementation of digital library application services at the Padang State University Library is running quite well, the application is easy to use and also a different system from the traditional library system owned by Padang State University so that it is difficult to integrate the application service. Third, adaptation to the application of digital library application services at the Padang State University Library has not been maximized, the collections available in the application have not adjusted to the target users, in this case Padang State University students.

ANALYSIS OF THE INTEGRATIVE APPROACH TO TAM AND UGT THEORY ON DIGILIB APPLICATION USERS

Information Systems Technology is an asset for an organization, if managed well it will provide added value for competition, as well as increasing the possibility of success for a business, therefore information systems must be managed well. STIAMAK Barunawati Surabaya College of Administration and Port Management also uses information systems technology (SIAKAD) to improve the quality of education and services in higher education, one of which is the digital library application (DIGILIB) for STIAMAK Surabaya students using the Technology Acceptance approach. Model (TAM) and “uses and gratifications theory” (UGT). The purpose of this research is to analyze individuals' intentions to use DIGILIB technology by referring to factors such as user perceptions of usability, ease of use, and other factors related to technology. The method used in this research is quantitative, with a total of 69 students responding using a Likert scale questionnaire and structural equation model (SEM) analysis techniques based on partial least squares (PLS). The results of this research show that there are three significant hypotheses, namely 1) Behavioral intention which mediates the relationship between Ritualized Use and Use Behavior, 2) Ritualized Use has a significant and positive effect on Behavior Intention, and 3) Behavioral intention has a significant and positive effect on use behavior

Penggunaan Aplikasi iPusnas Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berbahasa Indonesia Di SMK Negeri 1 Lubuk Pakam

Community service (PkM) carried out by FKIP students at HKBP Nommensen University in Medan with their supervisors is the use of the iPusnas application to improve Indonesian language skills. The iPusnas application is a digital library application with social media features offered by the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia (Bungin, 2017). The iPusnas application can be used by users as a means of information retrieval so that users do not need to bother getting information and collections in the library. The implementation of activities to improve students' language skills at SMK Negeri 1 Lubuk Pakam uses practical methods. The iPusnas application can be used by users as a means of information retrieval so that users do not need to bother getting information and collections in the library. The benefits of socializing the use of the iPusnas application can improve Indonesian language skills at SMK Negeri 1 Lubuk Pakam. Students can study more intensively and develop their abilities, especially in language skills, so it is recommended that training and guidance activities on using the iPusnas application can continue to be carried out regularly so that they are more effective.

Secure Content Based Image Retrieval System Using Deep Learning

This paper investigates Content-Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) using an ensemble of three cutting-edge deep learning architectures: Xception, MobileNet, and Inception. This ensemble approach demonstrated exceptional retrieval accuracy, with Xception and Inception models achieving an accuracy of 92.375%, precision and recall of 93% and 92% respectively, and an F1-score of 92%. The MobileNet model also showed strong performance, with an accuracy of 87.125%, precision and recall of 88% and 87%, and an F1-score of 87%.Beyond mere retrieval accuracy, the study places a significant emphasis on the security of the image database. A dual-layer encryption method was employed, integrating visual cryptography with the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) to ensure robust protection of sensitive data. This approach guarantees efficient image retrieval based on content while securing the data against potential breaches.The results underscore the efficiency of the ensemble model in balancing high retrieval accuracy with stringent security measures. This balance is particularly relevant for applications in digital libraries, historical research, fingerprint identification, and crime prevention. The paper’s findings advocate for the critical need to integrate strong security protocols in future CBIR systems, ensuring optimal performance without compromising data security.

Evaluasi Desain User Interface Berdasarkan User Experience Pada Aplikasi Perpustakaan Digital Isleman

Research related to evaluation of user interface design based on user experience in Isleman Digital Library Application aims to evaluate the user interface design of Isleman digital library application based on user experience. A qualitative approach is used as a research method, the collection of material through interviews, observation and analysis of related documentation. The results showed that the user interface design of the Isleman digital library application received positive responses from users. They find the design intuitive, easy to use, and present information clearly. Users also appreciate the program's clean layout and easy navigation, which allows them to easily find and access the library resources they need. Features such as efficient search, responsive display, and integration with other library management systems have also received positive reviews from users. These features are designed to improve usability and help users find and manage library materials more efficiently. However, some users provided feedback on minor improvements to the UI design, such as improved icon appearance and text clarity in some parts of the app. Based on the results of this study, several corrective steps are suggested to improve the user experience of the Isleman digital library application. These steps include visual enhancements, clarifying text and instructions, and changing the layout to make it more responsive and user-friendly. This research makes a major contribution to understanding the user's perspective on the user interface design of Isleman's digital library and provides recommendations for improvements that can be applied to improve the overall user experience.

The Development of Digital Library Platform in Indonesian School Library

The purposes of this research are to find the needs of Digital Library Application Development, to create the prototype of Digital Library Application Development and to find the validation level, practicality, and effectiveness of Digital Library Application Development. This research method used Research and Development, which uses ADDIE (analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subjects of this research were 1 expert, 1 media expert, 1 leader, 4 librarians, 10 teachers, and 35 students. The method of collecting data used in this research were interviews, observation, and questionnaires. Based on the result of this research, it shows that the digital library application development is necessary to improve the learning and teaching process, with the centralized database, it can help the users access the information and help the librarian to manage the school library. The prototype of the library application development of Athirah Islamic School provides some descriptions that the library application is suitable for the users' needs. The testing result by the expert shows that the digital library application of Athirah Islamic School has fulfilled the very valid category through some field-testing steps such as content validation and media validation. The level of practicality of digital library application can be seen from the testing result of the product based on the technical aspect given by the practitioners (libraries, students, and teachers) that fulfills the strongly agree criteria or very practical category. The level of effectiveness of the library application use can be seen from the questionnaire results given to the students, teachers, and librarians. It can be concluded that of 5 indicators such as: system quality, information quality, serving quality, users' satisfaction and the net benefit obtained that the library application is at a very effective qualification level.

Pemanfaatan Edoo Sebagai Bentuk Inovasi Layanan Di Perpustakaan Sman 15 Bandung

The purpose of this study is to utilize the Edoo digital library application at SMAN 15 Bandung as a form of service innovation in the library. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation with observations and interviews accompanied by literature study. Results from this study shows that the Edoo digital library application useful in assisting learning activities, the advantages and disadvantages of the Edoo digital library application are a challenge for the SMAN 15 Bandung library

Perspektif Pengguna Terhadap Pemanfaatan Aplikasi Candil Sebagai Pendukung Layanan Perpustakaan Dispusipda

<p>The use of digital library applications is an easy way for users to get information. This study aims to-provide an overview of the user's perspective on the Candil application as a support for Dipusipda library services. In addition, this study aims to determine the accessibility and usability of the Candil application from the perspective and experience of users when using the Candil application. The method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Observation, interviews, and literature studies carried out data collection techniques. Observations are made by conducting research on Candil application features. Then there were ten informants who were interviewed who were active users of the Candil application through accidental sampling. This research results that the accessibility aspect of the Candil application fulfills information accessibility so that users can find information on the Candil application through the availability of easy and fast collections. Then the Candil application also fulfills the five existing usability aspects: Learnability, Efficiency, Memorability, Error, and Satisfaction.</p>

Designing an Android-Based “Digital Library Batik Tegal” Application

Inventory and documentation efforts as an effort to protect and preserve craft products, to provide an informative function for batik industry players, students, tourists, and the wider community can be done with a digital library. This research was conducted to design an android-based application which displays information about Tegal batik motifs in the android display of the application related to the initial display (home), a brief history of Tegal Regency, maps of Tegal Regency, the development of Tegal Regency typical batik, 400 kinds of motifs Tegal batik with its philosophical meaning, and the distribution of batik business actors in Tegal Regency and equipped with an audio explanation of the philosophical meaning of batik. The Tegal Batik Digital Library application was developed using the Flutter framework with the Dart programming language. In this study we used the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with a Waterfall method. This research produces an android application called “Digital Library Batik Tegal” which can be used by batik industry players, vocational students, and the general public. Application testing conducted by media experts showed good results, where in Black Box testing all features ran as they should.

Inovasi pelayanan era new normal di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota Cirebon

The presence of the New Normal era is not only a solution to reducing the tension of the Covid-19 pandemic and creating a new order of life but also a challenge for various sectors that must continue. The closure of the library building should not be a reason for libraries to stop providing information services to the public. The Cirebon City Library and Archive Service (Dispusip) continues to adapt to changes and strive to implement services to keep running. This study aimed to find out the form of Cirebon City Dispusip's innovation and obstacles during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through field observations, direct interviews, and literature studies. The informants selected in this study were two employees at the Cirebon City Dispusip. The study results indicated that in the implementation of library services during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Cirebon City Office of Education had made innovations in the form of online services. They included several types of services, namely offline visiting services with limited quotas, online circulation services, online membership services, digital library application services, as well as digital-based creative literacy programs. The obstacle faced by the Cirebon City Dispusip in implementing online service innovations was the problem of system/server errors. The existence of online service innovations that have been implemented has enabled services at the Cirebon City Dispusip to continue running even in a pandemic.

Digitalisasi Perpustakaan Institut Agama Islam Negeri Madura Sebagai Upaya Pemenuhan Layanan Pemustaka Sejak Pandemi COVID-19

This paper describes efforts to digitize various library services at IAIN Madura in fulfilling user services during a pandemic. The surge in Covid-19 resulted in less-than-optimal library services, even to the point of temporarily closing face-to-face services. This, of course, requires the library to make a variation so that the service remains optimal during a pandemic. One of them is maximizing digital services which are very urgent to be carried out quickly and precisely, so that users can still get library services. This issue was raised, namely how the Madura IAIN library is able to provide digital services to fulfill user services since the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted using qualitative methods with data collection techniques by observation and interviews. The data analysis was carried out descriptively and interpretively based on the latest digital services as well as digital services that are experiencing the process of developing digital library applications at IAIN Madura. The results of this research are the latest digital-based library services and the development of digital applications to serve users since the Covid-19 pandemic. The newest digital library service at IAIN Madura is a digital self-lending service. Meanwhile, digital services that are undergoing application development include e-book, repository, and e-theses services. As for efforts to fulfill user services through library digitization, namely consolidating information technology (IT) teams, developing application programs, and adding library application programs to the IAIN Madura. All of these digital services are very important to be accessible and enjoyed by users during the pandemic and after the Covid-19 pandemic. This is because users still get maximum service with these digital services.

Rancang Bangun Aplikasi Digital Perpustakaan Berbasis Web Di Smpk Santa Maria Kota Palangka Raya

This research will discuss the use of information technology for the library at SMPK Santa Maria, Palangka Raya City. This digital library application can assist in making library transactions, because SMPK Santa Maria is still manual, that is, library transactions are carried out by writing the borrower's name and the book data borrowed in the library book. The methodology used in making this website is waterfall, with stages, namely the Requirements Definition stage using a flowchart, Requirements Analysis and Definition through DFD (Data Flow Diagram), ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram), and database. Implementation and Unit Testing with programming languages namely HTML, PHP, CSS, Bootstrap, Javascript, and MySQL, Integration and System Testing using the Blackbox Method.On this website there are several features, namely the homepage, Manage member data, Manage book data, Manage fine data, Manage book location data, print member reports, print transaction reports, Manage loan transaction data, Manage return transaction data, and library floor plan information (shelf book). With the aim that librarians can easily manage data on borrowing books by members.

Analisis Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Perpustakaan Digital pada Perpustakaan UINSU


 
 The progress of data systems in the current global era is very meaningful because at this time an institution or industry is not free from the use of PCs as a tool to help process information. Data systems using very advanced and modern PC technology will make it easier for us to carry out information processing that can save time, space and costs. This research uses a qualitative research approach. In terms of terminology for Baydan and Taylor, a qualitative approach is a research method that produces descriptive information in the form of recorded words or words. This research shows that UINSU has carried out the development of a library data system, namely the digital library of UIN North Sumatra. The Digital Library application used by the UIN North Sumatra Medan library is an integrated application where each part of the management of bibliotech collections and consumer services is connected to each other.
