THE DESCRIPTION OF ANXIETY SCORES IN POSTPARTUM MOTHERS DURING THE BREASTFEEDING PROCESS AFTER BEING EDUCATED WITH VIDEO AND MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH BOOK (MCH)

Anxiety is a common issue experienced by postpartum mothers, and it can interfere with the lactation process. During the postpartum adaptation period, many mothers face psychological challenges, including heightened anxiety. This emotional state can disrupt the hormonal regulation of prolactin and oxytocin—two key hormones responsible for breast milk production—thereby slowing the milk release and making breastfeeding more difficult. A preliminary observation conducted at Independent Midwifery Practice (IMP) Purwanti involving five postpartum mothers found that three mothers who experienced mild anxiety had delayed milk production, while the two mothers without anxiety had faster milk flow. This study aimed to assess changes in anxiety levels among postpartum mothers after receiving breastfeeding education through two different methods: animated videos and the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) book. The descriptive-analytic study was conducted from February to April 2023, involving all postpartum mothers on day five at IMP Purwanti, totaling 32 participants. The participants were divided equally into two intervention groups. Group one received health education via animated videos, while group two received education through the MCH book, with 16 mothers in each group. The results showed that in the animated video group, all 16 mothers (100.0%) reported no anxiety after the intervention. In the MCH book group, 15 mothers (93.8%) reported no anxiety, and only 1 mother (6.3%) experienced mild anxiety. None experienced severe anxiety. These findings suggest that both animated videos and MCH books are effective educational tools for reducing postpartum anxiety. Health services should consider integrating innovative educational strategies into routine postpartum care. Redesigning Tutorials

IT Project and Change Management (ISYS90050) is a core subject in the Master of Information Systems course, designed to be practice oriented. It helps students develop technical and interpersonal skills essential for becoming effective IT project managers. Managing real-world projects requires more than conceptual understanding—it requires abilities to make informed decisions and apply project management skills in complex situations. A key teaching challenge was bridging the gap between theoretical skills and their real-world application (Hanney, 2021). Multiple studies highlight the positive impact of roleplay on learning (Boyle et al., 2014; Qian, 2016; Weidner, 2012). To address this gap, we embedded web-based, interactive discussions and roleplays of real-life case studies into all our tutorials, enabling students to apply their skills in realistic project situations. These tutorials incorporated gamification elements to enhance engagement and offer immediate feedback, aligning well with the symposium theme. Our work supports the university's Advancing Student Experience strategy by highlighting practices that leverage digital tools, improve teaching quality, and enhance student experience. The tutorials were redesigned to incorporate web-based, interactive discussions and roleplay of real-life case studies. The roleplays reenact real-life project management issues and foster situated and problem-based learning (Sherwood, 2004). To enhance the learning experience, Animaker was used to create animated videos featuring characters engaging in conversations to present the case scenarios. Students were then introduced to various concepts through HTML-based drag-and-drop tasks and multiple-choice quizzes, all presented in one place using H5P. While students engaged in group discussions, they also received immediate individual feedback upon submitting their answers online. Throughout the tutorials, tutors facilitated the learning process. The effectiveness is evaluated through various methods. These include student responses from the End-of-Semester Survey (ESS) and analytics from the H5P platform, such as the number of attempts and improvement across multiple attempts. Tutor reflection offers additional insights into the learning process, while discussions with students during the tutorials further validate the effectiveness. Tutors reported that the new tutorial design enhanced student engagement, increased active learning, and encouraged more discussions. Learning analytics from H5P tracked 17 tutorial activities from 2021 until 2025. On average, 408 students attempted each activity and made over 18,000 recorded attempts. These statistics represent multiple attempts by students across different semesters, with each student typically attempting each activity on an average of 2 – 3 times to reach the correct answer. Their score increased from 71% in their first attempt to 94% in their final attempt. Students also highlighted the tutorials as one of the best aspects in the ESS. Our work offers a practical, low-cost, and highly effective method for transforming tutorials into an engaging classroom experience, supporting situated and problem-based learning. This approach has catered to around 300 students each year since 2021. Additionally, this interactive design using H5P on Canvas was shared with colleagues in one workshop as an example of how tutorials can be structured on Canvas to promote engaging learning. We plan to show a brief example of an animated case study and a live demo of some interactive tutorial activities. During this, we will explain the backstories, design choices, and pedagogical reasoning behind the design.

Overcoming Difficult Science Topics through Alternative Media in Elementary Education

Twenty-first century education demands deep conceptual understanding and applied abilities to address the challenges of modern learning. This study aims to identify the main difficulties faced by elementary school students in science subjects and propose relevant solution strategies to enhance learning effectiveness. Employing a mixed-method approach, the research integrates quantitative and qualitative analyses gathered from two IPAS teachers and thirty sixth-grade students through questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Results reveal that two topics “Let’s Get to Know Our Earth” (63.33%) and “Harmony in Life” (36.66%) are the most challenging, significantly affecting student engagement and comprehension during lessons. Various solution strategies, including the use of Canva media, spinning earth surface visualizations, LKPD worksheets, 3D sociodrama, and interactive animation videos, have demonstrably improved students’ conceptual understanding and active participation. These findings highlight the importance of innovative media and contextual strategies in supporting more effective and meaningful science learning at the elementary level.

Psychoeducation on Bullying Behaviour in Grade 6 Students of Public Primary School 06 Tanjung Batu

Purpose: Awareness of bullying’s negative impacts has grown significantly. Many studies highlight its physical, emotional, and psychological effects on both victims and perpetrators. Method: The methods used in this community service are observation, interview, and socialization in Public Primary School 06 Tanjung Batu. Practical Application: The psychoeducation program effectively helped students understand the importance of respecting differences, showing empathy, and maintaining positive social relationships. Conclusion: Psychoeducation for grade 6 students at SDN 06 Tanjung Batu improved understanding of bullying from both the victim’s and perpetrator’s perspectives. Using materials, animated videos, ice breaking, discussions, and quizzes, students recognized types of bullying, its impacts, and ways to respond positively. The program promoted empathy, respect, and social harmony, contributing to a safer school environment.

CNG – GPS Tracking and Booking using AI

Abstract: This project introduces a CNG GPS Tracking and Booking System powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI), designed to minimize waiting times and enhance the efficiency of the CNG refueling process. The system offers a web-based platform where users can conveniently book CNG refueling appointments in advance, thereby reducing idle time and improving overall user experience. By integrating AI, GPS technology, and real-time data analytics, users can easily locate nearby CNG stations, check fuel availability, reserve time slots, and receive timely notifications. Additionally, pump owners benefit from an intuitive admin dashboard, enabling them to manage resources, monitor refueling operations, and optimize service delivery through AI-driven insights. This solution modernizes the traditional CNG refueling system by introducing predictive analytics and automation, significantly streamlining operations and reducing congestion at refueling stations. Impact of educational intervention on dental students’ competence in managing injuries caused by sharp objects: a quasi-experimental study

IntroductionSharp object injuries (SOI) pose significant risks to dental healthcare workers. This study evaluated the impact of an educational intervention on dental students’ knowledge, attitudes, and practice habits regarding SOI management.MethodsA quasi-experimental before-after study was conducted among 87 dental students (59.8% female, 40.2% male; mean age: 23.45 years) in clinical years (DDS 2022–2025) at Qazvin University of Medical Sciences, Iran. Participants completed a validated 34-item questionnaire (10 knowledge, 7 attitude, 17 practice questions) before and after watching a 3-minute 36-second animated video on SOI management and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP). Data were analyzed using SPSS 26 with chi-square, ANOVA, and Bonferroni correction (p < 0.0031).ResultsThis study revealed significant differences in immediate post-injury performance knowledge (P = 0.001), PEP awareness (P = 0.025), and needle-capping (P = 0.001). However, there was no statistically significant difference in the extent of injury with sharp objects based on sex or age. There was a significant relationship between students’ year of university entry and the extent of injury with a sharp object (P = 0.025). Most students (67.8%) did not know how to function correctly after a sharp object injury, and the highest number of sharp object injuries occurred in the 7th semester. Over 60% of injuries went unreported, primarily due to perceived insignificance (44.1%).ConclusionsStructured educational interventions, particularly visual aids, enhance SOI management knowledge. However, long-term behavioral changes and reporting compliance require further investigation. Integrating SOI training into dental curricula and fostering a culture of incident reporting are critical to mitigating risks.

Pengembangan Website "Budisah" dalam Meningkatkan Pemahaman Kebudayaan Islam Madinah pada Siswa Kelas IV SD

This research aims to develop and evaluate the "BUDISAH" (Culture and History of the Migration of Prophet Muhammad SAW) website based on Google Sites as a learning media for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for fourth-grade elementary school students. The research method used is Design and Development (D&amp;D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The development process involves analyzing students' needs, designing a user-friendly interface, and integrating multimedia elements such as text, images, animated videos, and interactive quizzes. Implementation was conducted at Gunungsari Elementary School involving 16 fourth-grade students. Evaluation results indicate that this website received positive feedback from content expert validators, media experts, and students. The "BUDISAH" website is considered effective in enhancing students' understanding of the material on the migration of Prophet Muhammad SAW to Medina and in increasing students' interest in learning. However, there are some technical constraints, such as limited supporting devices, that affect the implementation. Overall, this website is deemed suitable for use as an innovative learning media at the elementary school level.

Pengambangan dan Validasi Video Animasi sebagai Media Edukasi dalam Pemberian Makanan Pendamping ASI (MP-ASI) pada Baduta

The limited knowledge of mothers regarding the provision of complementary feeding (MP-ASI) is one of the factors contributing to nutritional issues in toddlers. Therefore, the development of educational media is necessary to enhance mothers' understanding of MP-ASI. This study aims to design and assess the feasibility of an animated video as a learning medium for MP-ASI provision. The research employs a Research and Development (R&amp;D) approach using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The developed media was then validated by three content experts and three media experts, followed by a field test involving 30 mothers of toddlers. Data collection was conducted using a validation form designed by the researcher, with the Content Validity Index (CVI) threshold for the validation test set between 0.8 and 1.0, while the field test results ranged between 85% and 100%. The findings revealed that content specialists assigned a Content Validity Index (CVI) of 1.0, while media professionals also rated it at 1.0, signifying the media’s appropriateness for application. Additionally, the field trial yielded a score of 88.16%, categorizing it as highly viable for educational purposes. From these analytical outcomes, it can be inferred that the animated video is both valid and appropriate for use as an instructional resource to improve mothers’ understanding of complementary feeding (MP-ASI).

Pemanfaatan Video Animasi Interaktif untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Bahasa Inggris Mahasiswa PIAUD Kampus Diniah Putri Pekanbaru

This Community Service activity aims to improve the English language skills of PIAUD students at the Diniah Putri Pekanbaru Campus through the use of interactive animated videos. This program is motivated by students' low ability to communicate in English and learning methods still dominated by conventional lectures. In its implementation, this activity includes the development of interactive animation-based materials, training for lecturers, and implementation in the classroom learning process. The evaluation results show that the use of interactive animated videos can significantly increase students' learning motivation, speaking skills, and understanding of the material. Participants also responded positively to the material's clarity and attractiveness. With this technology-based approach, it is hoped that students will have a more interesting and effective learning experience, supporting the formation of an innovative and interactive learning environment.

PENGETAHUAN MAKANAN JAJANAN DENGAN METODE PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN DAN VIDEO ANIMASI PADA ANAK SEKOLAH

Background: School age children according to the World Health Organization (WHO) are children aged 7-15 years. Children at school usually have problems choosing food, children tend to prefer food that is outside the home. Because of children's penchant for overeating, snacks are often found in everyday life. As the proportion of children who consume snacks increases, this will have an impact on health. Objective: to provide health education on choosing healthy snacks. For school-aged children, it is hoped that students will be able to choose snacks that are safe and healthy to consume so that problems do not occur. on his health. Method: in the form of showing animated videos, explaining the material in lectures and evaluating educational participants. The population in this study were 7th grade students at SMP 3 Muhammadiyah Palembang with a total of 38 participants. Results: the ability to increase knowledge is good with the Wilcoxcon p-value test result of 0.001 (p-,0.05), so it can be interpreted that there is an influence of health education with animated videos on increasing knowledge in children at SMP 3 Muhammadiyah Palembang. Conclusion: Based on the implementation of health education activities with animated videos, it can increase the knowledge of students at SMP 3 Muhammadiyah Palembang, with videos and posters about snack foods it is hoped that it can minimize incidents of food poisoning that often occur in the school environment

Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Video Animasi Pada Pembelajaran Tematik Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas V SD

The purpose of this research is to examine the effects of animated video material on the academic performance of fifth-grade students at SDN Bengkulu City. This quantitative study used the Quasi Experiment method and a matched-pairs pretest-posttest control-group layout. Students in the fifth grade at SDN Cluster XII in Bengkulu City are the subjects of this study. This research included 28 students from Class V SDN 99 in the City of Bengkulu and 32 students from Class V SDN 81 in the same city. Cluster random sampling is the method that will be used. A sheet with multiple-choice questions served as the test's medium. Pre- and post-lesson exams were administered to students in both the experimental and control groups. Descriptive analysis, precondition tests, and inferential testing were all used in this study's examination of the collected data. Based on the data and analysis, it was determined that the t-test for scientific themes has a t-count value of 4.116 and a t-table value of 2.002, whereas the same test for Indonesian subjects has a t-count value of 4.463 and a t-table value of 2.002. Using a tcount &gt; table at the 5% level of significance, we find that class V SDN Bengkulu City students' learning outcomes improve when animated video media is used for thematic learning.

Pemanfaatan Media Interaktif dalam Strategi Pembelajaran PAI untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Peserta Didik

This study explores the use of interactive media in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teaching strategies to enhance students' learning motivation. The research employs a literature review method by analyzing relevant sources. The findings indicate that interactive media, such as animated videos, digital applications, simulations, and Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies, can improve student engagement and comprehension in PAI learning. These media make the learning process more engaging, enhance material retention, and encourage independent learning. However, its implementation still faces challenges, including limited technological infrastructure and teachers' lack of digital media management skills. Therefore, appropriate strategies are needed to optimize the use of interactive media in PAI education to improve the effectiveness of religious learning in the digital era.

THE EFFECT OF ANIMATED VIDEO HEALTH EDUCATION ON ANEMIA PREVENTION WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF ADOLESCENT GIRLS AT KESTARIAN 1 SEMARANG HIGH SCHOOL

Introduction. Anemia is a condition of the body where the level of hemoglobin (Hb) in the blood is less than normal. In general, anemia occurs more often in young women than in men. Anemia in adolescents occurs due to nutritional deficiencies, especially iron and folic acid. This lack of intake is due to low knowledge or wrong perceptions about diet without considering the body's need for macro and micro substances. The impact of anemia on teenagers can be a decrease in academic achievement and susceptibility to disease. Health education media with animated videos can have advantages over other media because they are more interesting. After all, it is in audiovisual form, the images displayed are more interesting and easier for teenagers to accept and understand. Method. The method used was a nonrandomized quasi-experimental pretest-posttest one-group design. The sample in this study consisted of 60 respondents, who were taken by purposive sampling. Respondents were given education about anemia using animated video media where before and after the intervention they were given a pre-test and post-test. Bivariate analysis test using the Wilcoxon test to determine the difference in mean knowledge before and after intervention. Result&amp;Analysis. There is an influence of providing education using animation media on increasing knowledge of young women about anemia at Kestrian 1 High School Semarang, shown by the significance value of p-value of 0.000, which means the p-value is &lt;0.05. Discussion. Animated video media has the effect of increasing young women's knowledge about preventing and treating anemia.

Development of E-Masl Learning Media Based on Multimodus Representation Oriented to Ethno-Stem

This study aims to describe the results of the development of E-MASL (Electronic Malind Science Learning) Learning Media based on multimodus representation oriented Ethno-STEM which is made in the form of animated videos. E-MASL learning media discusses the concept of science learning in the culture of the Malind tribe in the process of burning stones to make sago sep, which is related to science learning materials, namely heat and its transfer. This type of research is Research and Development (R&amp;D) research and uses a 4D (four-D) development model. The results of this study indicate that the average score of the validators is 83.33% with the category of "Very Eligible". The results of the student response questionnaire were 92.62% with the category of "Very Eligible". Therefore, it can be concluded that the development of E-MASL learning media based on multimodal representation oriented to Ethno-STEM has been tested and is feasible to be tested, so that the products of this study can be used as science learning media.

THE USE OF ANIMATED VIDEOS IN IMPROVING CHILDREN'S KNOWLEDGE IN TEETH BRUSHING

Animated videos that are currently widely used in everyday life can provide great benefits for the field of dental and oral health related to how to brush teeth properly. Based on interview data with 10 fifth grade students, it is known that 7 students do not know how to brush their teeth properly, how long to brush their teeth, and the time to brush their teeth. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of using animated videos in increasing knowledge in how to brush teeth of fifth grade students of SDN 1 Nibong, North Aceh Regency. The type of research used Quasi Experiment using pre-post test with One group Design. Data collection by interview, questionnaire and intervention. The sample in this study amounted to 43 students. Data analysis used Statistic Paired T-Test. The results showed an increase in the value of students' knowledge before being given dental health education with animated videos in the less good category, namely 28 (65.1%) and students' knowledge after being given dental health education with animated videos was in the good category, namely 43 (100%). The conclusion is that there is an influence before and after being given dental health education with animated videos on knowledge of how to brush teeth with a P value of 0.000 &lt;0.005. It is recommended that students improve their understanding of dental and oral health related to brushing techniques that are in accordance with health standards.

Development of Animated Learning Video Based on Discovery Learning for Fraction Material in Fourth-Grade Elementary School Students

The low learning outcomes of students in Mathematics remain an ongoing issue. The lack of learning media that can support the learning process is one of the contributing factors to this problem. This study aims to describe the design and development process of animated learning video media, determine its quality, and assess the effectiveness of animated learning video media based on Discovery Learning for fraction material. The subjects of this study were fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Panjer. This research utilized the ADDIE development model, with data collected through questionnaires. Data analysis in this study employed quantitative descriptive analysis and inferential statistics. The results of this study are as follows: (1) the design and development of animated learning video media based on Discovery Learning achieved a percentage of 90.90% (very good). (2) the quality of the animated learning video media was assessed by experts, including subject matter experts with a percentage of 93.33% (very good), instructional design experts at 93.75% (very good), and learning media experts at 93.33% (very good). Student responses from individual trials obtained a percentage of 91.66% (very good), while small group trials achieved 93.33% (very good). (3) the effectiveness of the animated learning video media was tested using a correlated t-test, resulting in tcalculated&gt;ttablet_{calculated} &gt; t_{table} (-13.60 &gt; 1.699), indicating that tcalculatedt_{calculated} was greater than ttablet_{table}. Therefore, the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted. Based on this calculation, it can be concluded that animated learning video media based on Discovery Learning is effective for teaching fraction material in Mathematics to fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Panjer.

Hubungan Pengetahuan Dengan Perilaku Pemeriksaan IVA (Inspeksi Visual Dengan Asam Asetat) Pada Wanita Usia Subur di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kowel

Cervical cancer is a deadly disease and ranks as the fourth most common cancer among women, according to the World Health Organization. In Indonesia, it is the second most prevalent cancer affecting women. Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) is an early screening method to detect cervical cancer, yet its coverage remains low in several areas of East Java. This study aims to examine the relationship between knowledge and VIA screening behavior among women of reproductive age in the working area of Kowel Public Health Center. The study employed an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 70 respondents were selected using accidental sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires assessing both knowledge and VIA screening behavior. Data analysis was conducted using the chi-square test. The results showed that 38 respondents had good knowledge, while 32 had poor knowledge. The chi-square test yielded a p-value of 0.494 (p &gt; 0.05) and a prevalence ratio (PR) of 1.684. These results indicate no significant relationship between knowledge and VIA screening behavior. However, respondents with good knowledge were 1.684 times more likely to undergo VIA screening than those with poor knowledge. It is recommended that the Kowel Health Center enhance its educational efforts through more engaging and creative counseling methods using media tools such as brochures, leaflets, posters, and animated videos, delivered both directly and via social media, to attract public interest.

The Effect of Problem-Based Learning Model Assisted By Learning Animation Video on Student Learning Outcomes

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of a problem-based learning model supported by educational animation videos on students' learning outcomes. The research approach used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design. The population of this study consists of seventh-grade students, with class VII-C serving as the control group and class VII-D as the experimental group, each consisting of 31 students. The results of the study indicate that the problem-based learning model assisted by educational animation videos yields better results than direct learning, as evidenced by the average scores increasing from 62.081 to 84.613 in the experimental class, while the control class improved from 63.048 to 79.452. Hypothesis testing using the t-test also supports this finding, with a t-table value of 2.00 at a 5% significance level, while the calculated t-value is 2.669. Therefore, since the calculated t-value is greater than the t-table value (2.669 &gt; 2.00), it can be concluded that there is an effect of the problem-based learning model assisted by educational animation videos on students' learning outcomes.
