Poverty Alleviation Through Education: China's Concrete Actions, Historical Achievements and Successful Experiences

Poverty has been a global challenge since ancient times, which has seriously hindered the process of modernization and the cause of fairness in the world. Education is widely regarded as an effective tool to eliminate poverty, so in recent years, countries have paid special attention to education poverty alleviation. China has taken a number of practical and effective measures in education poverty alleviation. Differences of Primary Education Resources between Urban and Rural Areas

The unbalanced distribution of educational resources, especially between urban and rural areas, constitutes a universal problem in the world. In China, however, this difference in educational resources is particularly obvious and has become an important issue to be solved urgently. This issue is not only related to educational equity, but also profoundly affects the overall development and progress of society. This work adopts the research method of quantitative analysis, and uses the data in China education database to analyze it. According to the research results, in China the distribution of educational resources between urban and rural areas shows obvious differences, which are not only reflected in material resources, but also in teachers' strength and the access to education. The unbalanced allocation of educational resources may trigger a series of social chain reactions. The government and society need to take a series of measures to solve these problems. Specifically, we should increase investment in rural education, improve rural teachers' salary and benefits and career development opportunities, and optimize the hardware facilities of rural schools and so on. At the same time, it is necessary to deepen educational reform and innovation, aiming at achieving fairness in the field of education and promoting all-round social progress.

Big Data Optimization Model for Enhancing the Innovation of Preschool Education Model Under the Background of Intelligent Internet

This paper deeply discusses the transformation potential of integrating Internet big data into the pre-school education model in colleges and universities. Through in-depth analysis, we studied the challenges and opportunities faced by preschool education in colleges and universities, and discussed the innovative influence of big data technology on educational paradigm. Our research emphasizes the key role of data-driven insights in reforming teaching methods and optimizing resource allocation in education. We emphasize the importance of establishing a central database and data sharing mechanism to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of education. In addition, we identified the main challenges, including data security issues, technical proficiency gap and resource gap among educators, and put forward targeted countermeasures to solve these problems. Analisis Perbandingan Anggaran Pendidikan di Negara Nigeria dan Kongo

Education is one of the main pillars of social and economic development, especially in developing countries. Generally, education not only serves as a means of knowledge transfer but also plays a crucial role in shaping individual character and skills. In developing countries, education can be a tool to address various challenges such as poverty, social injustice, and economic inequality. In the context of analyzing education budgets in Nigeria and Congo, the most suitable research design is mixed methods research. This approach combines quantitative and qualitative methods, allowing researchers to gain a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the phenomena under study. A comparison of education budgets in Nigeria and Congo shows significant differences in the allocation and management of educational resources. Nigeria, with a larger budget allocation, has the potential to improve the quality of education, while Congo faces more fundamental difficulties with relatively low budget allocation. The factors influencing education budgets in both countries are highly variable.

Leveraging Digital Technologies for Public Health Education in High-Density Community Spaces: A Geospatial Analysis

Public health education (PHE) plays a crucial role in mitigating the impact of public health crises, particularly in the context of high-density and aging populations. This study aims to address the challenges posed by these demographic trends in community public service spaces (CPSSs) by integrating geospatial and population data. Using bivariate spatial autocorrelation analysis, this research investigates the relationship between PHE and social determinants of health across 40 CPSSs in Macao. Additionally, it highlights the underutilization of digital technologies (DTs) in PHE. A non-participatory, short-term field survey and observational study were conducted to analyze PHE data quantitatively and descriptively in Macao’s CPSSs. Moran’s I and LISA index were used to test spatial autocorrelation at 90% and 99% confidence levels. The results revealed significant positive spatial correlations between the distribution of community public service institutions (CPSIs) and the population in southern Macao, as well as between the elderly population and PHE themes and formats. PHE topics predominantly focus on health/fitness, geriatrics, chronic diseases, and mental health. Despite this, PHE remains heavily reliant on offline formats, with limited integration of DTs. Challenges such as low digital literacy and limited acceptance of DTs among community workers and the public hinder their broader adoption. This study provides valuable insights for optimizing the allocation of health education resources in densely populated and aging urban areas, offering both practical recommendations and theoretical support for health policy making and implementation.

By conducting interviews with educators and analyzing both domestic and international literature, this study analyzed factors such as the allocation of educational resources, family economic and educational backgrounds, and educational policies. The findings highlight the important role of educational equity in the distribution of opportunities in higher education. Research has found that educational equity is crucial not only for individual growth and development but also as a key indicator of social equity and justice. This article proposes a series of strategies aimed at promoting educational equity and expanding access to higher education.

China’s rapid economic development has led to significant improvements in its education system, contributing to a reduction in educational inequalities. Bridging the Disparity: An Optimization Model for Equitable Allocation of Urban and Rural Educational Resources in Western China

The persistent disparity in educational resources between urban and rural areas in western China remains a critical barrier to achieving educational equity. This study addresses the critical issue by developing an innovative optimization model. The model aims to allocate financial, human, and physical resources effectively to minimize the educational quality gap between these regions. Using information from the China Education Panel Survey (CEPS) and concentrating on Xinjiang as a representative instance, our design integrates budget constraints, minimum resource requirements, and a unique regional prioritization factor. The goal of the objective function is to reduce the squared disparity in educational quality between city and rural regions. It thinks about variables such as Teacher-Student Ratio (TSR), Per Capita Investment (PCI), and Teaching Equipment Perfection (TEP). Abstract: Educational inequity has always been an issue that needs to be addressed in every country. However, due to the differences in social backgrounds and educational systems, the approaches taken by China and the United States are not the same. This study compares the differences in education between China and the United States through the research methods of case study and literature review, based on the study of the policies and programs of China and the United States to address this issue. China's educational assistance has narrowed the urban-rural education gap in a short period of time, and there is instability in teaching resources. Teachers' teaching skills need to be improved and educational resources optimized to ensure that the benefits of educational assistance are maximized. In the United States, inclusive education aims to ensure that all children have equal access to education, but there are still problems in practice, and there is a need to strengthen the protection of minorities so as to ensure a balanced allocation of teaching resources.

Structural Functionalism in Rural Primary Education: An Inquiry into the Alleviation of Digital Dilemmas

This paper thoroughly examines the educational challenges faced by China's rural primary schools in the modern digital context and suggests solutions based on the structural functionalism theory. The allocation of educational resources in rural primary schools is blatantly unequal under the dual structures of urban and rural areas, and the use of digital teaching also creates the dual issues of system imbalance and incomplete function. This paper, which is based on the structural functionalism theory, explains the challenges that digital education in rural primary schools faces, including a lack of resources, a shortage of skilled teachers, and an imperfect top-level educational design. This paper aims to analyze the current status of dance education in vocational colleges, highlight existing problems, and propose corresponding development strategies. Clustering of Basic Educational Resources and Urban Resilience Development in the Central Region of China—An Empirical Study Based on POI Data

This paper presents an urban resilience evaluation index system and evaluation on the clustering of educational resources based on the data of 80 prefecture-level cities in China’s central region in 2012, 2016, and 2020. The results reveal a rising trend of urban resilience in the central region of China, with the provincial capital cities exhibiting the highest levels of resilience. Educational resources are clustered in urban areas of provincial capital cities and other prefectural-level cities. Furthermore, clustering of educational resources has a significant impact on urban resilience. Policy factors play a significant role in moderating the relationship between educational resource clustering and urban resilience in large cities; however, this moderating role is not significant in small cities. These findings have significant implications for the optimal allocation of educational resources, promotion of urban resilience, and advancement of social equity.

Evaluation of the Management Policy of BOS Funds in Elementary Schools

General background however, the effective management of these funds remains a significant challenge, particularly in certain regions. Specific background this study focuses on evaluating the management policy of BOS funds at an elementary school, highlighting the need for systematic assessment criteria that align with established standards. Knowledge gap despite the existence of frameworks for evaluating fund management, there is limited research on their practical application in specific educational contexts. The aim is to analyze the BOS fund management by employing evaluation indicators based on Wirawan's framework, which includes input, process, output, and impact assessments. The results reveal that while the school’s facilities and infrastructure are generally in good condition, delays in fund distribution have adversely affected maintenance efforts. Key factors influencing successful fund management include meticulous planning, effective coordination, and accurate reporting. Furthermore, the study finds that BOS funds significantly reduce operational costs, benefiting both educators and students. Novelty this research contributes novel insights into the evaluation process of educational funding, illustrating how structured assessments can improve management practices. The implications of this study suggest that better fund management can lead to enhanced educational outcomes and resource allocation, ultimately fostering an environment conducive to learning. Temporal and Spatial Dynamics of Preschool Education Resource Allocation in China From 2011 to 2019: Based on Statistical and Spatial Analysis Methods

Balancing the allocation of preschool education resources is a crucial objective within China’s preschool education reform. Our analysis focused on investigating the disparities between regions and urban-rural areas in China from 2011 to 2019, employing the technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS), spatial analysis, and Markov chains. The results demonstrate a gradual reduction in the gaps between regions, and a rapid decrease in urban-rural gaps. Notably, Sichuan stands out with noticeably higher urban-rural differences compared to other provinces. The dynamic evolution revealed by Markov chains illustrates a limited level of fluidity in the observed changes within preschool education resource allocation levels from 2011 to 2019, thereby indicating progression toward a higher-quality allocation process. Additionally, the steady-state formation predicted by Markov chains highlights that if the current investment strategy remains unaltered, the rural areas in middle China will become the least developed in terms of preschool education by 2025. This situation is projected to deteriorate further by 2030. Urgent attention and policy adjustments are therefore imperative to address new trends.
